Title: Old Sod's Army-Una Stubbs
Post by: bog on August 13, 2021, 03:01:51 PM
Sorry to see that Una Stubbs has passed away. Does anyone recall the programme that was first aired in 1957, 'Cool for Cats', that had Una dancing?

RIP Una.

Records were played and The Dougie Squires Dancers would dance along to the tracks. Una Stubbs was one of the dancers. I don't remember it at the time but saw it mentioned on some show.

Celebrities are so fragmented these days, she was a relatively big star in the day. For some strange reason I Googled her Wiki 13th June this year.
I remember her from Worzel and Give Us a Clue.

RSP Una Stubbs who has entertained us well over a long time.
I first became aware of her in that great TV comedy  Till Death Do Us Part. I think all four of the stars from that show are now dead.
