Title: Official Team For Millwall
Post by: filham on August 17, 2021, 05:45:29 PM
Really after a 5-1 victory we should all be saying same as last time. However Wison will be missing, Reed may be available and there is doubt about Seri and Anguissa.
I am looking for:-
                                                              Gazz
                                       Tete          Tosin          Ream       Robinson
                                                       Reed         Anguissa
                                                               Seri
                                        Reid                 Mitro         Carvalho

So no Reed and no Reid, doesn't look like a winning team to me and the bench offers very little!

Must be unless he is doing a medical at another club. Typical though isn't it, has a good game and misses the next.

Way to go to be negative, Dave 🤦‍♂️

I agree the forward options on the bench are light due to injury, suspension and squad depth that is being addressed but Rodak, Anguissa, Mawson and Bryan would walk in to most other Championship sides. Thus, quality cover in defence and midfield.

And the starting XI is still extremely strong for this division so I'm somewhat more optimistic than you. Let's see in a little under 3 hours ...

As stated elsewhere BDR minor injury. But this side shows just how much we need a few more players to boost the squad. But I guess we all could see what was going to happen after Saturday. Wring of hands and swear words and moans come the end of the match.

But seriously we need a stronger squad to last a season in the Championship.

Hoping seri plays well - could be a real Lazarus like comeback if he has a good season.

Marco told Sky Sports in a pre-match interview that Bobby has a minor injury. Reported on the Club's official Twitter feed

We're all waiting on Muniz when we have Jay Stansfield, a 3rd home grown academy talent on the bench. He must 'ave shown Silva what he wants to see. If Stansfield comes good, which we won't know until he's introduced - could be a HUGE moment for him and us.

TBF we have no other forwards left so he's probably on there by default - if we have less injuries than we otherwise do then he's getting nowhere near the squad

I am going to be ignorant and ignore this because I want to believe that Stansfield is another incredible piece of homegrown talent and solves some depth issues at the Forward position. What you say passes all the markers of the logic check, but as is tradition these days, I will decline your reasonable rational for probable personal delusion, thank you very much.

I'm sure there are plenty of Championship sides would love that bench in fact they would like that in the first team.
Unfortunately you've been spoilt!

There is an entire thread dedicated to it posted yesterday or the day before. If you have ESPN + it's being shown on there as well.
