Just shows how floored and skewd in favour of the big teams football is. Liverpool have a starting 11 English 18 year old from us for 10m, which we only got through a tribunal. The whole system is disgusting
We got £1.7m for him, plus add ons that could take it to £3m. Which makes it even worse.
But the whole system is corrupt. FFP is there to protect the big clubs from the small clubs who have backing. The leagues are nothing more than feeder clubs for the big teams.
The Super League was the obvious example of that but frankly our system has been there for the mighty few since the Prem came in.
