Seen as thou we have another international break ,I started to wonder about which Fulham players who you can't believe never got a senior international cap .
I have three players
1.Steed malbranque
2.Sean Davis
3.Moritz volts .
Tony Gale
Tony Macedo !
Jimmy Bullard, Lee Clark?
Tony Macedo. What a keeper. Had he played for a "big" club would have gained England Caps.
All good shouts can't believe lee clark never got a cap

I seem to recall that under the rules at the time he wasn't eligible. Wasn't he from somewhere like Gibraltar or Malta?
Well before my time, but I think he was born in Gibraltar.

Quite right it was a political decision not to award Tony a full cap.

Couldn't play for England but was conscripted for National Service in the RAF as I remember.

Sean Davis, if only he hadn't had dodgy knees. A much better player than our much loved (!), recently departed ex manager. He would have beaten Parker's 12 + 5 Sub appearances, no problem.
Les Barrett
Sylvain Legwinski
Steve Earl maybe.
Philippe Christanval

Good shout he was a quality player for us
Les Strong.
Is it time for my medication yet?
Les Barrett for sure.
Certainly Macedo for me.
Better than most of the England keepers during his time (Hodgkinson, Hopkinson, MacDonald, Springett, Waiters). Same age as Banks (who became one of the best of all time) but England gave Macedo 10 u23 caps while giving Banks 1.
Philippe Christanval had 6 caps for France before we had him.

Pretty sure Christianval did get a few caps for France
Also while I loved Volz and thought he was good I certainly don't wonder how he didn't get a cap for Germany

I think he played for Gibraltar.
I have never seen Tony Macedo play, other than on old video footage and that's enough to say he is a very very good keeper.
I started watching FFC not too long after so lots of people were still talking about him. Everyone that I have talked to thinks that he better than Edwin Van Der Sar and Fulham's greatest goalkeeper, plus most think he is comparable in standard to Gordon Banks. Even a Chelsea supporter gave him the high praise of comparing him to Gordon Banks.
Even Tony Macedo has got bored of the discussions whether he is the greatest uncapped player ever for any team and said he doesn't understand the big deal. I'm pretty sure, he is at least Fulham greatest uncapped player. I really wonder who is our second best uncapped player, or best uncapped player since.
I was going to say Alan Goma but apparently he played a couple of times for France.
So I'm going with Steed Malbranque- quality on his day
Rufus Brevett, good enough for one cap at least...
Duncan Jupp !
Agree with Tony Gale and Les Barrett but I do think LB did get u23 caps. Unfortunate for TG, there were a few very good defenders in front of him.
