Playing well wasn't the standard needed to beat our opponent. All we had to do was not play poorly. So, is there widespread sickness amongst the team, or is something else at play here? We've seen extended stretches where the team as a whole played extremely well. But these last two games...uggghhh.
Relax pal . Not only has the manager said there was at least 6 players sick ,they then had to play wed night and then Saturday morning .
I've had vomiting bugs as has most people and I wasn't 100 per cent in work for a few days after .
Next Friday will give you the answer when we win 3 nil

Dude. We didn't lose and only conceded once. I'd say that's a good day at the office considering
A draw away from home is always a good result. So no complaints from me

:plus one:
I applaud the players who contracted the bug for their committment to the cause & making the effort to still try their best whilst not being 100% fit. The people slagging off the last 2 performances probably wouldn´t get out of bed for a week.

We have been asked not to start multiple similar threads so I will not and answer your question.
The answer is IMO both are true. The team looked sick on wednesday, and it turned out they were. and now again on saturday they looked lack lustre without the cutting edge that has been key to our success sadly lacking. So these last two games IMO were very poor but I cannot really blame the players for that.
HOWEVER
I do think we are not as good as many hype us up to be. Tiganana's team was a class above this with a way better defence and a selection of top class goalscorers. We do not have the physical prexcence in midfield and even though ream has perfomed brilliantly, he is at the wrong end of his career and none of his partners at centre back are totally reliable.
Don't get me wrong I like the attacking style and at times we are brilliant but we give away far too many easy chances that if we do go up would see us come straight down again.
We are top on merit but I have not really seen opposition that is that good. most teams have the odd good player and try hard but rely on luck rather than style. we have style and rely on our quality.
I hope friday is sufficiently far away for us to fully recover and then we will see what is what.

On paper we conceded once but that goal should never have stood. Even PNE called it hand of god
