Game postponed due to the number positive Covid cases in the Birmingham squad.

Weird, I'm both happy & sad about this, the boss will be pleased though.
two week gap over xmas. That feels very unfestive
I'm glad in a way. I wasn't going to attend in view of Covid numbers but hate missing any home game. So, I'll almost certainly attend the rearranged fixture. More importantly, it gives Marco more time to get us firing on all cylinders again.

It also allows more time for our squad to get it.

Hopefully Silve gave them 'it" after the last performance 😂
UGH.
We might have a couple of new signings in the January transfer window.
Gutted to not be able to go, but glad it's cancelled given how poorly we are playing at the moment. More time to pull ourselves together for Reading away.

There's a very good chance the Reading game gets cancelled as well, they're having a complete shocker with Covid in their squad at the moment
One game left and BCDs hardly a bumper Christmas schedule.
That's bad news...Love boxing day fixture.

I was thinking the opposite...that a longer lay off might do us more harm than good. Here's hoping the Reading game goes ahead, although not looking likely atm..

Spot on.
So what's going to happen now?more time to party etc etc.Forget promotion
For what it is worth i will make choux pastry and fill with home made confectioners custard.
Or maybe if I am still full from the day before i will make somethink less high in calories but that is my plan at the moment for Boxing Day with no football!

Next game on the 29th, not sure what you mean about 2 week gap, unless I'm missing something?
It could be worse, watching another inept performance would have spoilt the day, looks a game of golf is back on the menu!

I agree, another week licking our wounds may not result in improved performance. However I really did not want to take the Covid risk at the Cottage, was rather hoping it would be behind closed doors and available on FFCTV.
I wish our last blooming game was called off.... An eight hour round trip wasn't worth the performance given.
Looking at the bad situation with Reading I can see that match being off as well and the worrying sight of us being fourth in the league with two matches in hand.
A worse case scenario from a typical Fulham pessimist but these things do happen especially with current form!
Sheffield Utd have "a significant" number of cases in their squad. Maybe they will have passed it on to our lads. Or maybe we gave it to them (like the three points).
Although we have not been at our best over the last few games I Saw Birmingham play the other week and they were very very poor
Now they may strengthen their team in the transfer window and prove to be tougher opposition

We really don't want the situation of being out of the top two and kidding ourselves that
each game in hand is worth 3 points. Lets hope others in the top six also suffer postponements.
