about the Cavalho deal.
Has he gone to Liverpool or not?
No, its as it was.
He did go there but only to look at his hub caps.
He will have to wait until the summer and leave for nothing.

Think they run put of time, question is why did Liverpool wait so long. They could have done the deal weeks ago, just trying to get the best deal out of us.
No. He decided that bin dipping wasn't for him at this time.

If I was a betting man and I am not, I would still think he ends up at Liverpool with the same money passing between the 2 clubs.. makes sense as we owe for Wilson which is similar cost.
NO DEAL is a good deal for us and for Carvalho.
We now have his services for 18 critical promotion games.
Carvalho can now hone his match experience and be an improved player by the summer when
he will have a few top clubs willing to offer attractive contracts because of a low transfer fee, including Fulham where he is liked and where a first team spot is his for losing.
Personally I believe he will still go to the pool in the summer, I also believe it will be for whatever fee was agreed yesterday. We are in a much stronger position now if it goes to a tribunal for a ruling on the fee. A value was agreed, he will have another 20 + games under his belt.
Yep...they left him behind, but took his alloys
So, let me get this straight, Tony Khan did a number on Liverpool? And mugged them right off!!
The most amount of money we could have gotten from Liverpool was selling him now with a 20% sell on fee, no? Now there is no chance that happens.
And if he goes to say Dortmund we get nothing.

We keep him & get promoted...his money is insignificant
I'm confused too. Kindly request a little help:
1) Carvalho nothing happened. He's still member of FFC rest of season. Could be signed by anyone, including FFC (fat chance?), when season is over. Is this correct?
2) The only bit of business done this transfer period was bringing in Williams (and keeping Carvalho stars quo). And Williams is just on loan for balance of this season. Is this correct?

Yes correct on both counts. We also moved a few out on loan.

Yeah I mean I know nothing of what goes on at Motspur but to me it seems that way after the Harvey Elliot debacle and the seemingly tapping up of Fabio. Revenge is sweet

Did he trace who stole them?
Its also nice to know we are not that desperate for funds to just accept the offer that was chucked at us last minute in order to panic us into a sale.
Providing he gives his best in the next 19 games and we get promotion, we are in a no lose situation i.e. we are back in the PL, how much is that worth 170m? If that happens maybe he will stay with FFC (should be doing that anyway), but if he decides to leave, good luck to him!
Did he meet someone's grandmother and decided to make his excuses and head back to SW6?
Fed up with teams like Liverpool stealing our players cheaply . Yet all these teams do is to sneer at the likes of Fulham and our lack of success and top class players.

We do the same mate. We get a hell of a lot more than we give to players.
What did we get Zat Knight for? A set of training tracksuits.
It's football. Just galling we have players that good thay want to leave.
I was just thinking today about a world in which Fulham kept their academy stars.... I could imagine, Sess, O'Riley, Elliot and Cavalho being the core of a team developing together like the United team of the early 90s, We would win the premier league by around 2028....
Oh well, we can dream!
