Title: NFR: good news on the Brentford front
Post by: SP on March 18, 2022, 08:57:27 PM
Leeds are truly awful & their injury list grows ever larger.  I look forward to locking horns with the Bees next season.

The defending for second Wolves goal was truly awful. They've got Southampton at home, and Watford away up next. I fancy/hope that Roy wins that one.

Lifeline for Leeds. Red card (second yellow) for Jimenez. Thought it was soft myself.

2-2 now and plenty of time left for Leeds to win this.

Went to the kitchen for a beer & came back to find this unlikely score!  Leeds looked abysmal in the first half.

Mad game. Leeds 3-2 now. Benches are fighting. Quality is poor, but it's entertaining stuff.

This delayed offside flagging is ridiculous when the striker is 3 yards offside.

completely agree with this.  There is no reason to delay when it is so obvious.

Very exciting match with all the drama to entertain.  Four subs in the first half, Wolves leading 2 – 0 in the first half.  Red card to Wolves and a winning goal in the extra time to Leeds.  Impressive and surely that keeps them up.

Game turn on the sending off, Leeds keeper slide in the wolves player, and wolves player gets booked, as bad as the Huddersfield penalty against us

I believe it is traditional to respond to results like this with the phrase:

"Football, bloody hell".

Agree with this.  Never a foul.  Just two players coming together.

Really? They only have 29 points. We went down with 28 points last season so that's a bold statement with so many games still to play.. I hope Roy and Lew keep Watford up. Nice club, decent fans and another away game that's easy to get to. Everything that Leeds ain't ...

Yes be good to have games against Watford and Brentford in the Premier League next season, !2 possible points towards the 40 needed to avoid relegation.

This post didn't age well..... whilst I won't be popping any celebratory champagne corks, Brentford and Leeds are both staying up. Watford, Burnley and Norwich are absolutely nailed-on for me

Don't think Brentford out of the woods yet.Well I sincerely hope not. I would love to see them relegated big win for them against Burnley but have some tough games coming up.

I would prefer Brentford to stay up as I think they will struggle even more in their second season. Much rather Leeds or Burnley go down - preferably both!

Would love to see Fat Frank and Everton go down, can't see Brentford as they picked up points early on and Leeds going

Unless we can get 6 points against them next season, there is no other reason for Brentford staying up.
