Can anyone recommend a good pub in NH for beers and dood, please? Meeting an old mate who lives in Oz tomorrow pm. Ta.
Take your pick from - The Windsor Castle, The Eagle or the Ladbroke Arms - depends on the vibe you want. All good
Yep.... The Churchill Arms...proper pub with proper Fullers beer and a nice floral display outside
The Earl of Lonsdale use to be a good pub. Off Portobella Road, Westgrove ?
Thanks all, I'll look these up. keep em coming...

The Churchill was one of the pubs that first started offering Thai food - may be worth checking whether the menu is still Thai-based if that's not your thing (but it was very tasty last time I ate there!).
The Churchill is good and the Thai food is enjoyable.
The Walmer Castle in Ledbury Road has decent food though more of a restaurant than a pub these days
