Do I have this right or not? What is considered the most important and such?
A) The Champions League...Top club teams from all leagues, played yearly, very prestigious
B) Nations League...Just started recently, played every two years, how important is this? Gives teams chances to qualify for Euros? Are teams mostly comprised of what World Cup teams end up being? Somewhat prestigious?
C) Euros...Played every year, assume these are comprised mostly of players on country/World Cup teams, fairly prestigious?
D) World Cup...Every four years, very prestigious
E) Club League play...Every season, clubs battle for top spot and champions league positions, "probably" most important competition?
F) FA Cup/League Cup/various League Cups...Yearly, club teams battle, mostly won by league top teams, somewhat/not prestigious?
G) Europa League...Top teams that miss Champions League qualify. Somewhat prestigious?
I could have missed some things here, but it seems all very confusing. Lots of different competitions. Are all these competitions really necessary?
What competitions would you like to see removed or played less frequently, and how do you rank these in terms of importance and fan enjoyment?
I'm not quite getting what you mean by the first one, the Chamionship?
Do you mean the Premier League?

Premier League would be "E", along with other European leagues
Gotcha!
For me it would go:
D
C
A
E
F Although F could be split further - the FA Cup is more prestigious than the League Cup.
But I am sure that others will see it differently.

Thx for the response. Surprised that you placed E so low. As a FFC supporter, I would place league play as the most important. But that's just me. I guess a supporter might place whatever league competition they are in as very important, maybe ahead of all these other country competitions and club comps of which they are not participating.
Its difficult. I would love Fulham to win the Prem or the ECL but the reality is that there is more chance of England winning their competitions than there is Fulham winning the aforementioned.
Plus, if Fulham win then a small part of West London will get very drunk, if England win then the whole country will be partying like mad.
Kinda surprised that not many other comments on this subject. I see oft times in this forum complaints about players off to play for country, the interrruptions of the regular season, and potential knocks that can be suffered by a teams' best players when playing outside their league team.
Just wondering if football fans here consider country play just as important as club play? I have to believe that players themselves have to consider league play the most important, after all that's how they earn their living.
Are all these competitions necessary? The Nations League play? Really? Are BOTH League Cup and FA Cup necessary? Just want to get a better understanding of what's important to football fans in general.
Had to read the OP a few times as I am a bit slow but I think I understand the question.
For me:
D) World Cup
E) Club League play
A) The Champions League
F) FA Cup - not the other league cups (unless Fulham win)
G) Europa League
B & C - I only watch a bit of and don't really follow.
Full disclosure, this my opinion based on that I am an American. If I was British I'm sure I would see things differently.
Isn't relegation number 1
