A great performance tonight with one goal and two assists. Not only that but he absolutely ran his socks off and second half did not stop running.
The second goal was all about Davies- not only for the brilliant corner but the way he won the corner.
Well played, Simon Davies!
I agree with you
..................and STILL we do not sing for him ..........damn shame !!!

I'd try
"There's only ooooone Digger Davies,
ooooone Digger Davies,
walkin' along, singin' this song,
walkin' in a Davies wonderland."
His best game of the season by far, he has strolled through too many games and needs to take players on like he did second half instead of stopping and passing it back. Great goal.
Bump of an old thread for this awesome Simon Davies story

Don't see David Beckham trotting out for Leytonstone FC. True gentleman of the game is SImon
Top quality individual through and through. Well done Simon.
He is probably doing the maintenance on his holiday homes and playing golf

Well, no, but then if PSG wants to pay you to be a squad player when you're 37 and well past your best, you don't have to.

Didn't he donate his pay?
Brilliant. I'd normally be down there this time of year and would have loved to see that. He's well regarded in those parts and I wish he'd had a testimonial at the Cottage.

Also true. Don't see why there's any need to disparage Beckham in the course of praising Digger.
