Brentford's goal was well worked, but would have been snubbed out if any of our lot had been awake. Take it as a lesson learned and carry on with the attacking football in the second half, and we should be okay.

Was a fantastic performance for 35-40 mins of that half. Bit worried about Paulinha being on a booking. Brentford offered basically nothing aside from long balls

What I like about Silva is under Parker you just know we'd have sat back from here and tried to hold on for 45 minutes.
We have a seriously depleted squad and still have bossed this Brentford team for most of the half
they definately found their feet later on but I still think a 2 goal margin was what we deserved. A good corner routine from them to be fair, very fulhamish of them
Palhinha and Tete on a yellow puts me on edge though.
Leno looked assured when needed, hasnt had much to do and not much he could do about the corner.
A really crap time to conceed but hopefully Silva will be able to keep the players heads in the right place

This is when a weak squad will tell. As time goes on Palinha looks as if he was limping off at half time break. We didn't make the most of our superiority. More nerves being ahead than if we were behind at half time.
We were much better than Brentford at the first half. The scored from a set piece.
I didn't like it that we slowed down after the second goal though. I thought 3-0 would be a much safer time to slow down.

I'd like the midfielders and the fullbacks to push forward better than they did. Robinson in particular needs to be more presence.

We play a zone on set pieces from what I've read. One of our midfielders got blocked off, needed to fight through harder.
One thing is it is nice to see Stanisfield not looking out of place at this level.
