Title: Dan Burn
Post by: ChesterTheTabby on August 06, 2022, 08:06:31 PM
Lovely to see him playing today, despite being for Newcastle. I know he's been gone awhile, but I enjoy seeing ex-players like Dan doing well  ::off_Topic::

It was nice to see that Ryan Sess played well yesterday and his reaction to his first PL goal for Spurs. His reaction looked like it had lifted a big weight off his shoulders.

Thought Sessegnon looked really good, just like he did towards the end of last season, and he looks like he has beefed up quite a bit. He seemingly fits well with Conte's all action football that require intelligent and fit players.

Prediction: Sessegnon will be included in the World Cup squad. If he gets playing time Carvalho might make the Portugal squad as well, but less likely in my opinion.

Burn looked very solid at the back, but honestly wasn't tested much by Forest. Think his time as wingback has helped him greatly when it comes to confidence on he ball and handling one on one's.

Always nice to see our ex players doing well albeit through clenched teeth. Just a shame it had to be Barcode Utd

Dan wasn't managed well by most Managers during his time at CC. Pleased he has come of age.

David Stockdale had a good game for Sheffield Wednesday yesterday. Always nice to see ex Fulham doing well in whatever league.

I am sure Ryan will push on this year but it is always rather sad when players who are playing every week for us go and prefer to sit on the bench at bigger clubs.

As for Dan Burn. He is the player who proved beyond doubt I know nothing about football. Never rated him and yet clearly he has proved himself at the top level. Good luck as he continues his great career.
