Reminds me of watching us a couple of season back, so glad he's gone 💨
Long live Marco Silva it's like night and day.
It really is
Clearer than ever what the issue was for us last time out and it wasn't the squad imo
Wholeheartedly agree. That said, not looking forward to playing Arsenal next. They finally look like they've got it together.
You do realise we play an in form/top of the league arsenal at the Emirates next week. Wouldn't it be wise to not laugh at them when we could be in a similar position next week.

This. I'm expecting our first loss next week. If we get anything it'll be a pleasant surprise.

I guarantee we'll have more of a go at them then Bournemouth did at home
Yes Arsenal are on fire, but most on here went into our first game expecting a spanking from Liverpool, but Silva and our players had other ideas. The difference between the team that Arsenal beat today and the one they'll play next week, is that Parker wont be coaching next weeks team.
I feel Fulham should and will go into next weeks game looking for a point!

We do have a chance. Having said that, I do think it will be the toughest test so far but COYW's is all I want to say.
Would love 2 up top v Arsenal (never going to happen and shows why I'm not a manager!), Mitro plus Maupay or someone equally as physical. One thing never changes with arsenal, they can be bullied and this side is no different. Mentally, from the Amazon thing, not the strongest mentally either

I was amused to see that Bournemouth's main new signing, Senesi, the Argentinean CB from Feyenoord, was bullied off the ball by Jesus in the build up to Arsenal's opening goal, and was then taken off at half time.
You can bet that Marco will only change things if our new players are up for it and fit
Commentator said they didnt get into Arsenal's penalty area in the first half. Parkerball at its finest.

Occasionally Bongo has an half decent thought
Not only Arsenal next time but in form Brighton to follow and without us having Shay on the bench.
Interesting times ahead.
I think one interesting thing is that we are currently playing 'better than the sum of our parts' so to speak. Hasn't been that way since Hodgson imo.
Parker is part of the new generation of English managers with Gerrard, Woodgate and Lampard who are great at becoming mates with their players but don't seem to have the ability to improve what they have. Theyre a decent appointment for a struggling team where morale is shot or a dominant team where you mostly just have to manage egos but eventually results seem to drop off.
United limped a win and Bournemouth rolling over for Liverpool so far.
2-0 down to the scousers.
Palace currently leading 2-0 to Manchester City.
3-0 down.
Doesn't look good for them in terms of staying up even though it's early days.
And City 2 down at home to Palace
Scousers 4 up
4-0.....Sacked tonight🤔

Can't believe they've scored four and Salah has had no involvement in any of them.
My fantasy team is screwed this week!
LOL Parker's woefully out of his depth at this level when he can't buy his way to being in the top 2

Love it !!! 5-0
As my mate just said if it was a boxing match they'd stop it
Good ol Scotty Parker
Allowed myself a wry smile but but will temper it until after the Arsenal result. Pride before a fall and all that.
Would love Parker to be the first manager sacked. He is useless.
Liverpool have a point to prove so I hope they keep pushing for more and get 7 or 8. In a perfect world Carvalho comes on for the second half and nets a hat trick.

Really? I hope he stays there all season.
Let's hope Arsenal are not motivated to go on a goal scoring spree by the Liverpool demolition. As someone else said, let's calm down as pride comes before a fall. also hoping City come out in the second half and turn over Palace. We want top clubs winning whenever playing against potential bottom half teams -unless playing us of course!
Harry Redknapp to come back to Bournemouth in the next few weeks
Blimey 6 nil now!
Six...Dearie Me
well the good news is, we are unlikely to have the worse result of the day,
Some very interesting scores so far today, come on Palace.
This is going to get 'ugly'.
Parker to be the first manager ever to be beaten 10-0 in the premier league? 👀
Bournemouth has been their own worst enemies.
Funny tongue in cheek stat:
Bournemouth have now conceded as many goals this season as Petr Cech did in 35 games in 2004-05
Let's not mock this result until around 7.30pm

When you have mid table PL teams spending 40m+ on players the gap between the prem and champ is only going to get bigger and bigger. Promoted teams are going to have to gamble like Forest have to have any chance of staying up. It will be a miracle if Bournemouth are anywhere near safety

From BBC website - Since Cavalho has come on, every touch he's had, the Liverpool fans have been purring. He's only 19, but he fits in perfectly.
I'm hoping Fabio is a massive success for Liverpool. He does well and someone like Barcelona (unless their finances are in the dog stuff) come in and pay £80m and FFC pick up massive sell on 💷💷💷💷💷
He's such a great player. Real shame we couldn't keep him, but best of luck to him
Liverpool didn't even break the record, frauds.
The players were nieve they need to learn quickly at this level

Bournemouth board quite unhappy
Glad Everton didnt pick up 3 points at the budget stadium.
Parker's men have conceded the most goals in the top flight this season (16) and at the other end have netted just twice.
Nothing new there then
Of course I took the C off Haaland in my FPL team and triple captained Salah.
Liverpool score 9 and he doesn't even register a goal contribution.
LOL typical luck

I could be wrong though

forget more defenders, we are going to need to get a shrink in before Wednesday

In fairness to Bournemouth, that's a tough start they've had - Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool. They beat Villa on the opening day, which would be the game they would expect to get points from if they are to stay up. Goal difference has already take a hammering though! Wonder how long they will give Parker?

That transfer window last season has come back to haunt them big time. Whilst it was a success in securing their promotion, none of the players signed were anywhere near the required standard for this season.
DO we think the pitch was wet?

It's never him is it?
When you waste so much money in January to try and guarantee promotion, and you only have a ground that holds 10,000 you're going to struggle. If they hadnt had that ridiculous unbeaten run at the start of last season they wouldnt have gone up. They were very average from the new year onwards.
Parker is also isnt an inspirational manager. He gave up on the season before it started with us, and seems to have done the same at Bournemouth. Nothing is every his fault. Parkerball>all. He wont last until the WC break

I think that you can add to that when he said something like "blooding Academy players" against the likes of Liverpool whilst a great experience for them isn't what is needed or required. Seemingly conveniently forgetting that not one but two of the Liverpool players (aka Elliot & Fabio) were Fulham academy players only a few years ago. He failed to nurture them & look after them & failed to bring them in to the first team early enough
I used to like Parker but now think he is an utter delusionist & plonker of the first order! "More of them moments" baby!! Boscombe are welcome to him!!

Correct SP.
Bournemouth's Youtube channel Back of the Net, ends with quite a savage criticism by the presenter yesterday on Scott Parker. My thoughts did go back though to our defeat at Anfield in league cup back in the day 1986, won't mention the score.

From reading the latter, and I know spoken words seem to lose something wehn printed out verbatim, but his explanations are all over the place, and generally irrelevant to my liking.
It is hugely entertaining to see Parker do the same routine as he did here. Constantly downplaying your chances, telling everyone that the players you have aren't good enough and blaming everyone but himself. Doubt that everyone will be as eager to buy his gaslighting the second time around. He had even convinced some on here that Fulham were bound to fall into League 1 and that Mitro couldn't even cut it in the championship. He had most of the media eating out of his hand convinced that he did the best of a bad situation, and he is just playing it on repeat.
Compare this to Silva who has been, rightly, complaining at the lack of depth but also constantly backed the players we have to perform.
Highly hyped Newcastle currently losing away to Wolves. I think our point over there will look better and better in retrospect.
2-0 to Wolves and West Ham finally ended their nonscoring streak against Villa.
Think Villa will be in the relegation spots if Gerrard doesn't go. Properly terrible so far this season.

Villa are in a bad place. Looked clueless today. Struggling this season with the exception of a lucky win over Everton. They've Man City and Arsenal up next. Crowd turned towards the end of the game.
West Ham were just as abject, it was a strange and dull game.
