Finally changed from my old Nokia phone (pay as you go) and moved into modern times buying a smart phone and contract which includes 6gb a month data usage, the question is does anybody have any idea how much data would be used listening to GJ commentary where wi-fi is not available i.e. :hook: at my usual fishing venue. Thanks
I can't say exactly how much data you will use as it will depend on the audio quality but 6 GB should be enough for an entire SEASON of GJ. Of course you will probably use your phone for other things as well but 6 GB a month should be enough for normal use. Just be aware that videos use more data than audio. Don't watch too many old Fulham games on youtube and you should be fine. :54:
And of course, save your data and make sure you use wifi when you're at home or other places with access to safe, free wifi.
This is a goodish guide to all mobile usage without making allowances for Cornish magic.

Thanks Guys, appreciated!
6GB will cover that and then some. Just don't watch hours of video content such as YouTube and you'll be fine.
As Sgt said above, as long as you don't plan to stream video, streaming spotify or podcasts or radio you should have more than enough. Hours at work have been crazy recently so I upp'd my plan as I tend to stream football en route home but there's a significant difference between streaming video and audio.
As the others have said, 6gb is a breeze as long as you aren't watching hours of video, you'll still get quite a lot of video out of that mind, just don't plan to watch actual movies with it. You may have a bit of signal black down where you are though if you are using it on the move, I tend to when I am down your way.
But also, once you have adjusted to using a smartphone, its an absolute gamechanger. They are truly amazing things.
Davew, we look forward to feedback telling us if GJ's voice is fish friendly and has resulted in an increase in your bites.
Thanks to you guys for the help and advice, Filham nice 1 (lol), I can tell you I might have to turn the volume down the carp are all Manure supporters! Surprised hasn't posted that he hopes I catch a shed load of carp!
