Kebano: 'Fulham is my home'
In a brilliant interview with the Athletic's Peter Rutzler this morning, Neeskens Kebano has revealed that is loving playing under Marco Silva and his family now fully considers Fulham to be home.
The Congolese winger, who made his 150th appearance for the club against Newcastle earlier this month, says that last season's Championship-winning campaign was the most enjoyable season of his career. The 30 year-old relished having a regular role in the team – having been revitalised by Silva and his number two Luis Boa Morte – and scored nine goals in forty league appearances as the Whites romped to the league title.
Kebano, a popular member of the squad and a cult hero for the fans, was full of praise for Silva and his coaching staff:
"They give you all the tools to perform well. Tactically, what you need to do off the ball, all of those things. They don't let you run in random positions, you need to understand what you're doing on the pitch at every single second of the game. And then, they let you express yourself with your quality. They won't ask Mitro to run the channel every time, to pass the ball in the space. They know he can hold the ball. So they understand our quality and then make the most of our quality. So that's why I could play that way."
The former Genk and PSG wide player certainly feels at home at Craven Cottage.
"'m grateful. I'm grateful to be there. If you say to my wife or to my kids, 'What is home?', they will say 'Fulham'."

"I'd love to see him get further forward" – Charlton Athletic fan pundit assesses how Fulham loanee is getting on at The Valley
This article is part of Football League World's 'Terrace Talk' series, which provides personal opinions from our FLW Fan Pundits regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more...
With four tiers of professional football in England, loan deals in the EFL are often a key part of a young player's development in this country.
That has certainly been the case with Steven Sessegnon in recent seasons, with loan spells with the likes of Bristol City, Plymouth Argyle, and now Charlton Athletic.
With four tiers of professional football in England, loan deals in the EFL are often a key part of a young player's development in this country.
That has certainly been the case with Steven Sessegnon in recent seasons, with loan spells with the likes of Bristol City, Plymouth Argyle, and now Charlton Athletic.
"Obviously, I'd love to see him get further forward and get the ball in attacking areas. Sometimes especially with with Kirk, he's not really someone who's gonna drive and take a man. So I'd like to see him get on the overlap a bit more. But again, that's that's probably more sort of system based and how sometimes slow we are to get the ball into attacking areas.
"I think he's been solid and hopefully he can keep progressing and push on throughout the rest of his loan."
The Verdict
The hamstring injury that Sessegnon picked up in late August was a real shame.
He had the rug pulled out from under him just as he was getting going, but fortunately, he has returned to action in recent weeks.
That said, it doesn't sound as though that has done him any harm, with our fan pundit sounding impressed by the 22-year-old so far.
Of course, our fan pundit would like to see him get forward more but admits this is due to the system deployed and is likely just a natural result of the club being more on the back foot given they're currently 18th in the league table.
Hopefully, if Garner can lift the club further up the table, they will naturally be more on the front foot and that should give Sessegnon the freedom to get further into attacking areas.

Class visit gives Tete hope in fight against racism
Fulham defender sees how diverse students learning about inclusion can help tackle discrimination
After a visit to a local school, Fulham defender Kenny Tete sees a positive future in the fight against racism and discrimination.
Tete went to Melcombe Primary School just down the road from Fulham's Craven Cottage stadium to see how No Room For Racism educational resources from the successful Premier League Primary Stars programme are being used to inspire learning and encourage discussion around discrimination and diversity.
The Melcombe class that the Dutchman visited was being delivered by the Fulham FC Foundation and it revolved specifically around Black History Month, something which resonates with a player born to a Mozambique father and a mother from Indonesia.
"It's really important for me and the club," Tete says. "Look at how many different diverse players you've got in the club, but also for me with my background."
The class was made up of children from a range of backgrounds, something Tete had not witnessed before.
Education is key
This diversity, as well as the education around it, gives Tete hope that anti-discriminatory initiatives such as the Premier League's No Room For Racism, which is currently being promoted at matches, will have a positive impact.
"I just visited a class that was really diverse, which I have never seen in my life, so I was happy to see that and I know it will help No Room For Racism in the future, 100 per cent," he says.
"When I went to school we didn't have that education.
"It was more what your mother or father gave you at home, so that's a good start and a good look for the future and I hope it will get more and more."

Rodrigo Muniz at Middlesbrough: How has it gone so far? What issues does he face? What's next?
Rodrigo Muniz completed a summer transfer from Fulham to Middlesbrough following the start of the new Championship season.
The Brazilian has arrived as part of a season long loan agreement from the Cottagers.
While he was unavailable for Boro's first five games of the season, the team still had him as a potential part of the squad for a further eight fixtures.
It hasn't been an ideal start for the team for this Championship campaign, with poor form even seeing Chris Wilder lose his position as manager in early October.
However, here we take a look at Rodrigo's impact since making his arrival at the Riverside late last summer...
How has it gone so far?
Of the eight league games that the 21-year old could have featured in, he has played eight times for Boro, making seven starts.
His debut came on 27 August in a 2-1 win over Swansea City, in which he came off the bench for the final half hour of action.
The forward has become a mainstay of the starting lineup since, playing in each of their following matches.
His first goal came in his first start, bagging a consolation goal as the team lost 2-1 to Watford.
Rodrigo's second goal for the club also came in a defeat as the side lost 3-2 at home to Cardiff City.
Those are his only contributions in front of goal so far, with the team struggling for results near the bottom of the table.
What issues does he face?
Middlesbrough's statistics for this season do not make for pretty reading, and can somewhat explain the team's lowly league position.
Most notably, of the 24 teams in the second division, Boro are currently 13th in the table for the number of shots taken.
However, in terms of shots on target, the club drops down to 20th which highlights that the attackers likely aren't taking a high number of quality shots.
This needs to improve, with their conversion of shots to shots on target being the lowest in the Championship.
What next?
A new manager may be able to find a better tactical set-up in order to get the best out of the team's forward line.
That will have a huge impact on Rodrigo's future, as he could find himself either out of the team altogether or he could become even more important under a new coach.
He will need to find better positions on the pitch in order to provide a greater threat inside the box, but the team's creative players will also need to find him in those positions to make the most out of their use of the ball.

Fulham vs AFC Bournemouth: How to follow the game, why is it not on TV and kick off time
Bournemouth sacked former Fulham boss Scott Parker after a 9-0 loss, and are now unbeaten in five
Two newly promoted sides will meet at Craven Cottage on October 15 as Fulham face AFC Bournemouth. Fulham have recently suffered a slight dip in form, and have lost their last two.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth are on a five game unbeaten run and beat lowly Leicester on October 8. Fulham romped home to the Championship table in the 2021/2022 season, whilst Bournemouth finished runners up.
When the two sides met last season, the game was televised on Sky Sports, with the two sides drawing, with Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke scoring one of the goals of the season. It will be the second time Fulham will play a newly promoted side, with Marco Silva's men beating Nottingham Forest 3-2 at the City Ground.
When is kick off?
The game at Craven Cottage will kick off at 3pm on Saturday, October 15. The game has been selected for a 3pm kick off, and therefore will not be aired on TV.
Why is the game not on TV?
Fulham vs Bournemouth has been selected for a 3pm kick-off time on Saturday October 15 and so it won't be shown live on UK television. This is to comply with the 'blackout' regulation on televised coverage between 2:45pm and 5:15pm on a Saturday.
Under the rules, broadcasting rights are restricted for clubs in the UK, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. Not all is lost, though, as highlights will be available for Sky Sports subscribers on the Sky Sports app around 15-30 minutes after the final whistle.
How do I keep up with the game?
Despite the game not being on television, you can keep up with all the action by watching Gillette Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports. Jeff Stelling and his expert panel will keep up to date with all games over England and Scotland both in the studio and in the stadiums.
How do I watch the highlights?
Highlights can be viewed on BBC One show Match of the Day which follows the weather report on Saturday night. Gary Lineker, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer provide great analysis with extended highlights and commentary shown.
Highlights may also be uploaded to each side's social media channels, however it is up to each club to decide when these highlights are released.

Fulham's Cave appointed Assistant Technical Director at Brighton
MIKE CAVE is leaving Fulham after almost nine years to become the Assistant Technical Director at Brighton.
He will officially join the South Coast club next month, TGG understands, after completing his notice period with Fulham. At Brighton he will assist David Weir, who was appointed Technical Director in May after a period performing the role on an interim basis.
The Seagulls are one of a small number of clubs to have an Assistant Technical Director, along with Bournemouth, Manchester United and Norwich,. This is recognition of the heavy workload that the Technical Director has.
Cave has a strong pedigree in youth development. He joined Fulham in 2014 as Academy Performance Manager, having previously worked in senior sales positions for IMG, the producer and distributor of sports programmes.
Promotions followed to Head of Player Development, Academy Manager, and then to Academy Director in August last year.

Fulham now facing 'huge blow' before Bournemouth clash at Craven Cottage
Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic might not be able to play through the pain barrier as much as normal due to the upcoming World Cup, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The Serbia international is currently out injured with a foot problem and Jones doesn't believe he'll be taking as many risks in the weeks ahead.
What's the latest news involving Mitrovic?
Having struggled in previous Premier League campaigns with Fulham, Mitrovic quickly to bed any doubts over whether he could perform at this level by banging in the goals in August and September.
But the 28-year-old suffered a setback during the first half of the defeat to Newcastle recently and was forced off.
Marco Silva revealed that the injury wasn't serious, but The Independent claimed the striker had done some damage to the ligaments in his foot.
As a result, Mitrovic missed Fulham's London derby against West Ham on Sunday and already appears to be in a race against time to be fit to face Bournemouth in a key match at Craven Cottage this weekend.
What did Jones say about Mitrovic?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "Typically, I'd say that Mitrovic would be willing to play through pain and play through almost anything, but at the moment, that probably isn't quite the same because he will have half an eye on the World Cup.
"So, he can't take as much of a risk as he normally would. I think he'll probably be okay for the Bournemouth game, but if he's not there, then it's a huge blow to Fulham."
How has Mitrovic performed this season?
Mitrovic scored just three goals in his previous campaign at this level and 11 the one before that.
But some eight games into this season, the striker is already well on course to smash his best return at Premier League level.
He marked his top-flight return with a brace against Liverpool on the opening day and while he missed a penalty at Wolves the following week, he would find the net in each of his next four appearances.
Those were the home games against Brentford and Brighton, which earned Fulham six priceless points, and in the defeats at Arsenal and Tottenham, the latter a stunning curling effort past Hugo Lloris.
Mitrovic's record before he got injured stands at six goals in eight games, with the Serbian striking once every 111 minutes.
