Americans have scored 91 goals for
@FulhamFC in the Premier League,
exactly the same amount as
Americans have scored for all other
#PL clubs combined.
Fulhamerica is alive and well
Come on Fulham! Love this team through thick and thin. Almost twenty years of following our team above all others and all sports. Six trips over for matches and can't wait for my next. There is no other club in the world like ours, we are all so fortunate!
Via la Fulham!!!
Make no mistake McBride, Dempsey and Ream are well positioned in my list of all time Fulham favourites.
Just waiting for the next American to cross the pond and find his way up the Thames . The route to the Cottage is now well established.
The US players have a fantastic attitude. I have supported the whites for over 50 years and Mc Bride and Ream are two of my favourite all time players (Conway, Barrett and Earle are also right up there). Hope that there are more to follow.
Having some yanks give the team exposure it would never have otherwise. I know there are many different factors in putting Fulham on the map but I for one am happy McBride found his way there and brought me along for the ride. Whites forever.
If we can broaden it slightly to Nth America then Peschisolido wasn't too shabby either.
The first time I met Brian McBride was at the house he was living in at the time off the Stoke Road, Stoke D'Abernon, Cobham.
He did not disappoint me, a diamond geezer and i felt honoured to have met him.
As for his exploits on the field of play, i have to salute him for his commitment, attitude and ability.

I agree Woolly and he has all of the qualities you often promote. Level headedness, tenacity, never say die attitude, fearless but despite all of that, a great team player and seemed like a really nice guy (as does Tim).
We have young Alex Borto a goalkeeper with the U21s
A very nice young man who leaves very close to me.
A word for Bocanegra too, a stalwart during a great time for the club.
Not forgetting Jedi a talent that will only keep getting better.

We had Stalteri in our great escape season as well who was also a Canadian international

Another Canada international - Radzinski, had a few years with us as well.

Yes but we don't want his missus to settle at the Cottage.
We had a good few posters from the US who have disappeared over the years, McBridefan1, DeuceDeuceDempsey were prolific back in the day. The Rock still posts the odd times and still gets over for a couple of games a season
Kasey Keller was awesome too
With Eddie Lewis being the first (and Hyndman plugging the gap till Ream), we have had an active American (USA) international in our team for 20 out of the last 22 years (since 2000). Only for two years, after Dempsey first left, did we not.
:wow:
Add in Peschisolido in there as a North American (Canada), then its 23 out of 25 years! (since 1997)
We'll be here through thick and thin :)

Me 3!! And you're all stuck with me!! 049:gif
It's been a wacky, wonderful, roller coaster ride. Long may it continue.
In the fall of 1964 I was a student at the London School of Economics. I was doing research in the Hammersmith Fulham constituency during the parliamentary election campaign that fall. One Saturday I ventured over to Craven Cottage to see what all the fuss was about First Division football. Mostly, I remember standing with some very passionate people on a very cold day. Looking now at the squad list for that season, I was watching some of the greatest players ever including George Cohen and Johnny Haynes. In recent years I have been back at the Cottage often during visits with my son and his wife who live in London. When I am back here in the USA, I make sure to watch every Fulham game on TV. 049:gif
