Title: Arsenal/Man City
Post by: alfie on February 15, 2023, 08:41:22 PM
How does Mikel Arteta get away with running along the touch line, never in the tech area. 4th official says nothing.

:plus one:

He literally does that every game throughout the whole game. Yet Marco is the only manager with 4 yellows this season... Loved it when De Bruyne pushed him  :005:

Guardiola is just as bad.

Man City players repeatedly surrounding the ref and getting away with it.

I think Arteta managed to surpass him this season somehow. However it shows what we already knew, referees don't want to book "big team" managers, yet they booked Marco 4 times. Marco crosses the line often, so does Mitro for example, but City/Arsenal players/managers are much worse and get away with it every single time.

Man City winning the league every year doesn't half get boring.

Noticed 4th official having a go at Guardiola for being outside of tech area but then turned round and watched Arteta doing exactly the same but totally ignored him.

When are the footballing authorities going to get a hold on this, for all teams ?  Should be the captains only who can approach the referee

Nothing lasts forever and when it is proven that they have broken so many rules and get relegated, I will be happy to see them win the Championship!

Very true.
