Lewes is the better option IMO, the Royal Oak in particular.

Heading for the Evening Star near Brighton Station for me. I didn't think the Swan in Falmer let away fans in but maybe they do.

don't wear colours these days so no issues also know a lot of Albion fans and plenty of friendly banter.

They used to check your ticket at the Swan at Falmer...Home only

Heading to Lewes with my son as we are getting a lift there and hopefully meeting friends there.

I'd like to strongly recommend the Foghorn (Boundary Road, Hove BN3 4EF). Close to Portslade Station, change at Brighton for Falmer. This is an excellent micro pub with a wide range of locally brewed beers. One of the three owners just happens to be my nephew......
