If we win this one, it's all sunshine and rainbows. Lose, and it's an impending sense of doom. Please Fulham, for once...

Great reporting from the Beeb:

Brighton 1-0 Crystal Palace
Facundo Buonanotte rises to meet a good ball into the box but he directs his header straight at Bernd Leno in the Fulham goal.

Hope he costs us 4m this year keeping Broja in the bench, good luck lad!

I think hes always tried hard but its just not been going for him for a while

Boro loan didnt work out etc

He had a stint earlier this year he was showing signs of quality but couldn't get a goal.

Would love for him to get another or an assist today to really boost his confidence.

A home defeat today must mean virtual relegation for them.
Could we be on the way to breaking our no win record at Turf Moor which has lasted for over 70 years.

But seriously, it was pretty reckless. It could have ruined the rest of the game for us. He's done okay otherwise imo, but I'd put on Cairney on early in the second half and try and get a 3rd goal.

Excellent first half, taking advantage of Burnley's poor offside trap. Pereira and Muniz looking first rate today, especially liking Pereira's forward runs, something he doesn't do often enough. Muniz's goal was pure class.

If there's a criticism it's that we could and maybe should, have put the game to bed. Burnley surely won't be that poor again.

Yes, it was poor from Leno, but BDR, Reed, Robinson, etc should all have done better as well.

I'd bring on Cairney for Reed asap. We need to score a 3rd.

Well I am sure you think it is hyperbole. But I stand by the statement. Two up and cruising against a team that are relegated and we make errors in the most simple of occasions. I am sure we will have those that are used to us losing goals in the last minutes of injury time. We have after all done it enough this season. But for me doing it against Man City or United or Liverpool is one thing. Doing it against Burnley is embarrassing.

burnley were so bad first half dunno why marco didnt fancy the more creative tc over others.

and when tc came on he saw the ball only 3 times?
marco brought tete on to shore it up and he was at fault for their second

too defensive in the team selection despite it getting a 2-0 lead

i know that sounds daft.
broja must start V BOURNMOUTH

and tc. how can he go from MOTM to the bench next game?

Can't believe people have watched that game and then when others claim that it was an absolute embarrassment, they say it is a hyperbole.

Burnley is an absolute shambles. They were horrid and we just gave them two goals for free. One because we got caught on a counter leading by 2, which speaks loudly lf our football IQ. And the second they scored from a build up because we didn't press or sat back, we were floating in the nothingness doing f***-all.

Absolutely disgraceful.

This kind of thing is getting hard to bear week on week....

......such as when a blocked shot by Willian on their goal finishes in the back of our net within seconds.

...and when it seems impossible to defend a lead through the final few minutes of a game.
