Fulham: Leicester hope to steal Cairney
The Scotsman could leave Craven Cottage.

Leicester City are hoping to prise Fulham captain Tom Cairney away from the club this summer, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.

Who could leave Fulham?
It's set to be a crucial summer transfer window at Craven Cottage with manager Marco Silva now hoping to build upon a successful first campaign back in the Premier League.

Fulham, quite comfortably, secured survival and another campaign in the big time - while also just missing out on qualification for European football.

Some of the Whites' star players, as a result, are said to be attracting interest from major clubs domestically. Perhaps most notably, midfielder Joao Palhinha is wanted at Man United, Liverpool and West Ham, but Fulham are set to fend off their advances by demanding upwards of £90 million (The Daily Mail).

The Portugal international may continue to be a talking point long into this summer, but according to other reports, he isn't the only Fulham star who could leave Craven Cottage.

Newcastle United and Marseille are currently pursuing a deal for left-back Antonee Robinson, with Fulham ready to let him leave given the defender is refusing to pen fresh terms (The Evening Standard).

Meanwhile, according to Football Insider and O'Rourke, another star who could depart west London is club captain Cairney.

Indeed, it is believed that the recently relegated Leicester are eyeing up a move for the Scotland international and wish to steal him away.

Cairney has just 12 months remaining on his current deal, with the Foxes hoping to lure him up north. He is a personal favourite of new Leicester manager Enzo Maresca, who wants him at the King Power Stadium.

The attacking midfielder struggled for consistent starts throughout 22/23, despite wearing the armband, but Silva has been full of praise for him regardless.

What's been said about Tom Cairney?
Speaking to the media last season, Silva expressed his admiration for Cairney, who he labelled a "top quality" player.

"Tom is always a player that can give us the calmness to start the game," said the Fulham boss (via The Independent).

"Even some moments under pressure he can give us what we need.

"Of course he knows I am pushing him to arrive in certain areas, to be between the lines. In some moments, first and second phase, we need players like him to start well, but when the game goes forward and we are in our defensive half, we need him to arrive in certain areas as well.

"Two great finishes, two great goals from him. Top quality player. We know his quality on the ball, everything that he can do."

Fulham requesting €4-5m for player's sale – Club currently 'study' purchase offer

Over the past few weeks, we've covered several stories about Grêmio's interest in Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

Among the many claims, it was said the Brazilian club only want him on loan, as they don't have the financial conditions to spend the €10m requested by the Whites.

It turns out that a new report from Globo Esporte goes against all that was said, and writes that Grêmio may indeed go after a permanent deal for the Fulham striker this summer.

The Tricolor are unsure about the future of Luis Suarez, as his knee issues and the wish of a transfer to Inter Miami could take him away from the club.

It's then said that Grêmio tried to sign Muniz from Fulham on loan, and that was turned down by the Whites. Now they 'study' an offer to buy him.

This time, it's claimed that Marco Silva's side request between €4m and €5m for his transfer.

That makes sense, as the player has just returned from a disappointing loan at Middlesbrough, and €10m sounded like too much.

Grêmio's idea is to buy only a percentage of that, so we'll see how that develops.

Fulham 'already negotiating' for signing – Whites change target and push ahead

On Thursday, Firenze Viola reported Fulham have cooled their interest in Fiorentina's Igor and have shifted their focus to AS Roma's Roger Ibañez.

This is echoed by Vocegiallorossa.it, who then provide a fresh update on the English club's pursuit of the Roma defender.

Despite Igor holding talks with Marco Silva, Fulham have now shifted their focus on his compatriot.

The 24-year-old's future seems to be away from José Mourinho's side and this has been made clear for the past few weeks. The report states the Giallorossi have set a €30m asking price and their initial plan was to sell him before June 30th.

Roma general manager Tiago Pinto has raised the necessary funds to balance their books and this puts them in a relatively comfortable position to not accept discounts to sanction the centre-back's sale.

It's claimed Fulham are the 'club most interested' in Ibañez as he's their 'first choice' target to bolster their defence.

Vocegiallorossa.it add the two clubs are 'already negotiating' and there's belief the South American could move to London on 'more favourable terms'.

Fulham: Whites targeting Callum Hudson-Odoi
Marco Silva's side wants the rival winger at Craven Cottage.

Fulham are now targeting Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer and Mauricio Pochettino's side are open to selling him, according to reports.

Who will Fulham sign this summer?
In the past week, Whites transfer rumours have been seriously hotting up, both in terms of potential departures and signings for Marco Silva.

Fulham enjoyed a successful first full campaign back in the Premier League after being promoted from the Championship, comfortably avoiding relegation and finished mid-table.

While they couldn't quite do enough to seal European football for next season, the foundations to build are there, and it is believed the west Londoners are looking at strengthening a variety of positions.

Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, Japan international Ao Tanaka, Coventry City's Viktor Gyokeres, Fenerbache defender Ferdi Kadioglu and Roma centre-back Roger Ibanez have all been linked in the past 10 days.

Meanwhile, it is believed top flight rivals are eyeing moves for star Fulham players Joao Palhinha and Antonee Robinson, with Leicester City also apparently looking to steal away club captain Tom Cairney.

If these rumours come to fruition, it could well be a busy summer at Craven Cottage, with news emerging of another target on their radar.

Hudson-Odoi, who spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, is apparently being targeted by Fulham.

That is according to The Guardian and reliable journalist Jacob Steinberg, who claims Fulham, Milan and Nottingham Forest have registered interest in the £120,000-per-week forward.

Chelsea are prepared to sell Hudson-Odoi, and could do so for just £15 million, with the winger looking likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

He's out of contract next year, and with just 12 months remaining on his current deal, Fulham could offer him the chance to remain in west London.

Hudson-Odoi has offers from the Middle East, though it is thought his preference is to remain in Europe at this stage.

What's been said about Hudson-Odoi?
Frank Lampard once tipped the 22-year-old for stardom at Chelsea, calling him an "incredible" player back in 2019 whilst claiming he could be "huge" for the Blues.

Fast forward to now, and that hasn't quite worked out, but Lampard isn't the only person to have seriously endorsed the winger.

FourFourTwo writer Mark White, taking to Twitter just last year, called Hudson-Odoi a "special" player and drew particular attention to his "unbelievable vision" and "sheer mentality".

Given he is available for just £15m, and Fulham are in need of forward depth, he could be a prudent option.

Sources: Fulham tell West Ham new Joao Palhinha price

Fulham star Joao Palhinha remains the top target for West Ham as they prepare for life without Arsenal-bound midfielder Declan Rice, sources have told Football Insider.

Rice, 24, is expected to join the Gunners with the two London clubs reportedly agreeing a £105million fee for his services.

West Ham have now turned their attention to replacing the midfield star with the 2023-24 season now on the horizon.

However, a well-placed source has told Football Insider that the Irons could now be "priced out" of a move for top target Palhinha.

It is believed Fulham are asking for a fee of £60million for the Portugal international – an outlay which would represent a new club record for West Ham.

Palhinha has four years left to run on his contract at Craven Cottage and the west London outfit are keen to make a healthy profit after signing him for a reported £20million in 2022.

he midfielder scored four goals across 40 games in all competitions last term and recorded some of the best tackling and interception stats in the Premier League.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Man United and Bayern Munich have monitored his situation following his brilliant first season in England – but top European clubs have since cooled their interest in the midfielder and will now pursue alternative targets.

Palhinha currently earns a reported wage of £50,000-a-week at Fulham.

West Ham will play Europa League football in the 2023-24 campaign after winning the Europa Conference League last term.

The Irons are yet to make a summer signing despite the exits of Manuel Lanzini and Arthur Masuaku.

Joe Bryan: Millwall sign free-agent left-back after Fulham departure

Joe Bryan's two goals in the 2020 play-off final sent Fulham into the Premier League

Millwall have signed former Fulham left-back Joe Bryan on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old has agreed a "long-term deal" at The Den and returns to England having spent last season on loan at French side Nice.

Bryan played 102 games in the Premier League and Championship for Fulham after a £6m transfer from Bristol City in the summer of 2018.

He greatest moment for Fulham came when he scored both goals in their 2-1 play-off final win over Brentford in 2020.

He first made his name at Bristol City where he made almost 250 appearances and also had time on loan at Plymouth Argyle.

"Joe has invaluable experience at the top end of The Championship - having won promotion twice with Fulham before - and in the Premier League, so we are very pleased that he has decided to join us," said Millwall's director of football operations and recruitment Alex Aldridge.

"It was evident in our conversations with Gary [Rowett, Millwall manager] over the summer that Joe is relishing a new challenge after his time with Fulham and a different experience abroad in the French league last year.

"His quality and versatility to play both as a full-back and wing-back will really strengthen the squad, and we look forward to working with him."

Willian to leave Fulham after rejecting contract offer as Premier League rivals circle

Exclusive: The Brazilian had hoped to stay at Craven Cottage but a disappointing contract offer has seen him look elsewhere

Willian has rejected Fulham's offer of a one-year contract extension and is actively pursuing other Premier League offers.

The 33-year-old had hoped to stay at Craven Cottage but the club was unwilling to improve the offered terms, which were deemed unsatisfactory.

Willian, whose current deal expires tonight, has already begun opened talks with top-flight rivals as he looks to remain in English football.

The Brazil international's decision comes as a huge blow for the Cottagers, who reaped the rewards of bringing Willian back to these shores last season.

Manager Marco Silva was also keen to keep Willian but is now left seeking replacements.

Silva's own future is not fully secure and a recent change of agents raised fears over a possible exit. There is a belief, however, that he will snub lucrative offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia to remain at Fulham.

The former Watford manager has one year remaining on his contract, which has a £6m release clause.

Shakhtar Donetsk loanee Manor Solomon could also leave the club with Tottenham interested in hijacking their free transfer bid.

Spurs play a friendly against Shakhtar this summer, hinting at a potential decision by the Israel international.

West Ham set to compete with Fulham for Norwich City deal
Norwich City's Max Aarons has caught the attention of West Ham amid Fulham interest

West Ham are expected to make a move for Norwich City's Max Aarons soon.

According to James Nursey, the Hammers are eyeing a deal for the Canaries defender this summer.

Norwich are expected to finally cash-in on the full back this transfer window after years of speculation surrounding the player.

Sporting director Stuart Webber confirmed in an interview earlier this year that the Championship club are open to offers for the 23-year-old.

Who is interested in signing Max Aarons from Norwich City?
West Ham are set to face competition for the signing of the right-back, with Fulham also reportedly interested in a move for the player.

It has been claimed that the Cottagers are seeking a £10 million deal for the Englishman, although it remains to be seen what asking price Norwich will place on Aarons' future.

The Hammers are now looking to make a move with the deal for Declan Rice to join Arsenal set to be finalised in the coming days.

A deal worth £105 million has been agreed with the Gunners, meaning West Ham will now have plenty of money to spend this summer.

David Moyes will be looking to strengthen his side as they prepare to compete in the Europa League next season.

What are Norwich City's summer transfer plans?
Aarons is not set to be the only big-name exit from Carrow Road this summer, with Andrew Omobamidele also expected to leave.

The Irishman has attracted interest from a number of potential suitors, but it remains to be seen where his future lies.

David Wagner will be looking to rebuild the squad, with star striker Teemu Pukki having also already departed the club.

A trio of free agent signings have been made, with Borja Sainz set to become the fourth.

Would Max Aarons be a good signing for West Ham?
Aarons was one of Norwich's key performers last season, so his departure would be a big blow to Norwich.

However, he is a Premier League calibre player and the time is right for the club to finally cash-in on a high-value asset.

A £10 million fee would be somewhat underwhelming, so expect Norwich to push for between £15 and 20 million at the very least.

West Ham would be a great next club for Aarons, with the Hammers set to compete in Europe next year and with the team in need of reinforcement on the right flank.

Fulham fear Marco Silva could leave this summer?

Fulham are reportedly fearful that head coach Marco Silva could leave his role ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Silva, who was appointed Fulham boss in the summer of 2021, made an immediate impact at Craven Cottage, leading the team to promotion in his first season in charge.

The Cottagers continued to enjoy success under Silva last term, picking up 52 points to achieve a top-half finish for the first time since 2011-12.

Silva has been linked with a number of managerial jobs in recent times, including Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

The Portuguese manager, who has a £6m release clause in his contract, is also said to be attracting interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

According to The Sun, Silva is in talks to switch agents, which has raised concerns among the Fulham hierarchy that he could leave this summer.

The report claims that the former Everton boss is considering whether to cut ties with his current agency ProEleven.

With Silva's contract set to expire at the end of next season, Fulham want to tie down their manager to a new long-term deal.

However, Silva is seemingly keen to take his time and weigh up his options before committing his future to the West London club.

In May, Fulham vice-chairman and director of football operations, Tony Khan, insisted that he was confident of retaining Silva's services.

Fulham are determined to keep hold of their key players in a bid to convince Silva to sign a new contract with the club.

They may have to fend off interest for Joao Palhinha, who has reportedly been identified as a Declan Rice replacement by West Ham United.

Antonee Robinson has also been linked with a move away, amid interest from Manchester City, Marseille, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

Fulham are hoping that Silva will still be in the dugout when they begin the new season with a trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on August 12.

Fulham set to lose star who reached double figures in goals and assists last season

Fulham are expected to bid farewell to Willian once the Brazilian's contract officially expires at midnight on Friday.

That's according to a recent report from the Evening Standard, who claims the Cottagers' failure to meet the South American veteran's contract demands will now see the 34-year-old leave the club on a free transfer.

Believed to be keen on staying in the Premier League, Willian is thought to already be in talks with several of Fulham's domestic rivals.

This news will serve as a bitter blow to Marco Silva, who had relied heavily on the winger's contributions last season.

Scoring five goals and providing six assists in 27 Premier League games, Fulham's number 20 was undoubtedly one of the main driving forces behind the side securing a top-half finish.

Nevertheless, with the former Chelsea and Arsenal attacker now on course for a new challenge, Silva must sound out at least one suitable replacement in time for the start of next season.

Willian turns down Fulham deal
Willian will leave Fulham this summer after rejecting the club's offer of a new contract, according to the Evening Standard.

The Brazilian winger was a revelation at Craven Cottage after returning to London last September having cancelled his contract at Corinthians. The 34 year-old scored five goals and added six assists in 30 appearances across all competitions as Marco Silva's side finished tenth on their return to the top flight and reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

But the former Chelsea and Arsenal winger was disappointed with Fulham's offer of a one-year deal, with a mutual option of a further twelve months, and wages believed to be around £50,000-a-week. The Whites were unwilling to negotiate over improved terms and Willian has began negotiations with other English sides.

The news comes as a significant blow to the Cottagers, especially with uncertainty surrounding the future of Israeli winger Manor Solomon – linked with a possible move to Tottenham – and Marco Silva yet to commit his long-term future to the club. The head coach said publicly at the end of last season that he would wait to see whether the club's ambition matched his before deciding to extend his existing deal in SW6, which has twelve months to run.

Club have bid for Fulham player rejected – Craven Cottage side want offered amount quadrupled

Fulham have reportedly turned down an offer for Rodrigo Muniz.

As reported by Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Grêmio submitted a €2.5m bid for the striker, letting the Whites keep 50% of a future move.

It's said Fulham actually want to make €10m with his sale this summer, and then rejected it.

This is the second attempt Grêmio make for the centre-forward. Their first contact was for a loan, which was ruled out, and there was now this bid.

Still, they have apparently not given up. Globo Esporte writes that a new attempt is 'not ruled out', as the Brazilian club wait for a 'positive signal' from Fulham dropping the request.

In fact, it seems there's been a little confusion regarding the price for Muniz.

It had first been reported by the Brazilian media that Fulham wanted €10m for the sale. Globo Esporte then claimed the price was of actually between €4m and €5m, and it's probably with this information that Grêmio tried to buy 50% with €2.5m.

Now, it appears the Craven Cottage side are sticking to their guns and asking for that full €10m.

Bryan signs for Millwall following Fulham exit

Joe Bryan has signed for Millwall after being released by Fulham.

It was recently confirmed that the left-back would be moving on when his contract at Craven Cottage ended this summer.

His two extra-time goals against Brentford in the 2020 Championship play-off final took Fulham to the Premier League – one of two promotions he won with the Whites.

Bryan, 29, made 117 appearances for Fulham but has been out of the first-team picture for some time and spent last season on loan with French side Nice.

"Joe has invaluable experience at the top end of the Championship – having won promotion twice with Fulham before – and in the Premier League, so we are very pleased that he has decided to join us," said Millwall's director of football operations and recruitment Alex Aldridge.

"Joe is relishing a new challenge after his time with Fulham and a different experience abroad in the French league last year.

Fulham Man Looking At Other Top Flight Options As He Nears Craven Cottage Exit

Willian is actively looking at his options in the Premier League with an exit from Fulham set to happen due to disagreement over contractual terms, according to the Evening Standard.

He had an impactful campaign under Marco Silva as he made eleven goal contributions in 27 league matches.

Last season he joined the Cottagers as a free agent on a one-year deal, after spending the season before with his boyhood club Corinthians.

It has been suggested that the 34-year-old Brazilian was offered another one-year extension.

A disagreement over the figures in a new deal is set to make him a free agent from Friday and he is actively pursuing offers to stay in the English top flight.

It has been claimed that Marco Silva wanted to keep the Brazilian for the upcoming season.

Willian's performances for Fulham last season could mean he is an attractive addition for clubs in the Premier League as a free agent.

All eyes will be on whether Willian manages to secure a contract he deems acceptable at another Premier League side this summer.

QPR complete signing of Larkeche

QPR have completed the signing of Ziyad Larkeche.

The 20-year-old left-back has joined on a three-year contract after being released by Fulham.

West London Sport this week revealed that Rangers were set to release Niko Hamalainen and bring in Frenchman Larkeche.

Hamalainen's departure was subsequently confirmed.

Larkeche moved to Fulham from Paris St-Germain three years ago and was on loan at Barnsley last season.

He has been brought in as cover for Kenneth Paal.

Larkeche told the club website: "I try to attack a lot. If I can score or assist I am really happy. That's what I want to do but I also like to defend and win challenges.

"I try to run a lot during the games. I don't really get tired, so I can give the effort for the team."

Ainsworth said: "With the enormous amount of games Kenneth played last year, everyone was worried when he got injured.

"We ended up papering over the cracks by filling in right-backs at left-back, so what Ziyad gives us is a natural left-back to compete with Kenneth, which is very important to me."

Tottenham Hotspur Have Done Homework On Target, Closely Watched

Tottenham Hotspur were closely monitoring Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo for most of last season and are now weighing up a bid for the 25-year-old, according to football.london.

The Lilywhites are in the market looking for two central defenders and a young winger, after having filled the void in the goalkeeping department and also in the number ten position.

They hold interest in Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba and Wolfsburg's Micky van de Ven.

Fulham's Adarabioyo is also on their list though and Tottenham have thoroughly done their homework on the defender.

In fact, the Lilywhites have been on the defender's trail for quite some time now and watched him closely throughout much of last season.

Now though, they are pondering over whether their interest can be made concrete during the transfer window.

Tottenham are not the only club keen on Adarabioyo, with top European clubs such as Inter Milan and Monaco along with a few other Premier League clubs also keeping an eye on his situation.

Adarabioyo featured in 25 of Fulham's 38 league games last season and his performances at Craven Cottage have not gone unnoticed.

Queens Park Rangers have signed defender Ziyad Larkeche after he was released by Premier League side Fulham.

The 20-year-old France Under-20 left-back spent last season on loan with League One club Barnsley, scoring one goal in 23 appearances.

Larkeche, who did not feature for the first team during his time at Fulham, has agreed a three-year deal at QPR.

"Without a shadow of a doubt, Ziyad is a player that excites me," boss Gareth Ainsworth told the club website.

"He can play left wing-back, left-back and, if needed, left centre-back. He's going to bring healthy competition and it's definitely an area that we have made a priority to fill."

He becomes QPR's third signing of the summer after Taylor Richards joined permanently from Brighton following a loan spell and forward Paul Smyth re-joined the west London club after turning down a new deal at Leyton Orient.

Fulham: Whites hope for imminent Aaronson progress
Marco Silva is after the USA international.

Fulham are hoping to make headway in their attempts to sign Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson "this week", according to journalist Dean Jones.

Who will Fulham sign this summer?
The Whites have been linked with a host of signings over the past fortnight and beyond as manager Marco Silva attempts to bolster his ranks.

Fulham comfortably secured Premier League safety last campaign, coming after their promotion from the Championship, and were also briefly in contention for Europe.

Star players like Joao Palhinha and Antonee Robinson are thought to be attracting serious interest as a result, though Fulham won't be bullied, with reports suggesting they could demand as much as £90 million for the former.

Silva's side are also eyeing major additions in a variety of key areas, with Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, Japan international Ao Tanaka, Coventry City's Viktor Gyokeres, Fenerbache defender Ferdi Kadioglu and Roma centre-back Roger Ibanez all being targeted.

Meanwhile, it is believed Fulham could also make a move for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, as their west London rivals are prepared to sell for just £15 million (The Guardian).

Speaking to GiveMeSport, reporter Jones has shared news on another transfer target at Craven Cottage, as they eye a move for Leeds' Aaronson.

The USA international is attracting interest from Fulham and Jones claims they're hoping to make progress over signing him this week.

"The way that he presses and the way that he gets on the ball and tries to make things happen," said the journalist.

He would be a really good foil for Mitrovic in that sense.

"It's something that Fulham are looking at, and I think they're hoping to make some headway on it this week."

Who is Brenden Aaronson?
The 22-year-old, over his 36 league appearances last term, ranked among Leeds' best for attempts at goal, key passes made and successful take-ons per 90 (WhoScored).

Aaronson, who featured at last year's 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has also been praised by former Leeds defender Matthew Kilgallon.

"Really impressed with him, everything, I don't think he's got a weakness," said Kilgallon.

"He works hard, he defends well, he gets back in position early, does everything right.

"He looks like a good lad out there, he wants to do as well as he can. Gives everything, he runs around and gives it everything."

Meanwhile, former Man United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has profressed his admiration too, calling Aaronson a "fantastic" young player.

Fulham to push for Demarai Gray Everton exit with Willian set to leave on free transfer

Fulham are set to give Everton a major transfer headache when it comes to Demarai Gray's future after it emerged Willian will leave this summer.

The Cottagers have registered an interest in the Jamaica international this summer, as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at Goodison Park and considers an exit for more regular first-team football.

Gray has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but regular football in England is more likely to appeal to him and now has a greater chance of coming to fruition after the latest update on Friday (30 June).

According to Evening Standard journalist Nizaar Kinsella, the experienced Brazilian winger will leave Fulham when his contract expires at midnight tonight after he couldn't agree terms on an extension.

Willian joined last summer on a one-year deal and is said to have accepted lesser terms after a poor spell in Brazil, but expected to be rewarded for his fine form last season.

Instead the club wouldn't match his demands and he will now leave, opening up a fresh opportunity and need for them to make a move for Everton's Gray during the transfer window.

That could cause problems for Everton and Sean Dyche, who are yet to make progress on any signings so far this summer despite the need for reinforcements being so great.

Gray was among the team's top scorers last season and often found himself starting as the first-choice number nine when Dominic Calvert-Lewin was unavailable.

But he didn't play enough when everyone was fit, with the boss preferring to use Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi in the wide positions ahead of him.

Fulham are now likely to turn up the pressure in their pursuit for Gray, meaning Everton will have a big decision to make sooner rather than later.

Willian is set to LEAVE Fulham after 'the Cottagers handed the Chelsea veteran a disappointing contract extension' - with the Brazilian winger open to offers from Premier League rivals

The 33-year-old made the surprise move from Corinthians ahead of last season
Willian has enjoyed a strong season in the Premier League upon his return
But instead Marco Silva will have to contend with his absence for the next term

Willian is set to leave Fulham after just one season at Craven Cottage following his rejection of the club's contract extension, according to reports.

The Brazilian winger joined the Premier League side in a suprising move at the start of last season, after his plan to end his career at his boyhood club Corinthians faltered and saw him end his contract early by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old had a dazzling return to English football, following his previous spells at Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Across 30 appearances in all competions, Willian scored five times and registered another six assists as a sharpened prong of head coach Marco Silva's multi-faceted attack.

The midfielder's contributions helped Fulham achieve a sturdy 10th place finish at the end of the 2022-23 campaign, just one point short of matching their record top-flight points tally.

But as per the Evening Standard, the player's return to west London is set to come to a premature end.

Willian's current one-year deal is set to expire tonight, but despite a willingness to prolong his spell at Craven Cottage, he is thought to have deemed the terms offered by the club to be unsatisfactory.

Silva is thought to have included Willian in his plans for next season, and the Portuguese manager will now be left looking for alternatives.

For his part, Willian is reportedly keen to stay in the Premier League, and will be seeking offers from Fulham's rivals during the summer window.

The player's departure is unlikely to be the only change to Fulham's attack as they prepare for the outgoings and incomings of the market.

The club have slapped a whopping £90million price tag on talented midfielder Joao Palhinha, who arrived in west London with Willian at the start of last season, and may also entertain offers for Antonee Robinson, who they value at £35m.

In the other direction, Fulham are believed to be interested in Robinson's USMNT team-mate Brenden Aaronson, who went down to the Championship at the end of last season with relegated Leeds, and Sevilla's Lucas Ocampos.

A major question mark remains however over the future of Silva himself, after the manager was courted by Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

Silva has a £6m release clause in his contract that would prove no stumbling block for the Public Investment Fund-backed side, and the coach is thought to be considering the offer despite his unwillingness to leave the Premier League.

Al-Hilal are said to have previously offered Rome coach Jose Mourinho a diamond-studded deal, which came with a £26m-a-season salary would have made him the highest paid manager in the world.

But Mourinho - who is currently the eighth highest-paid boss in football - is believed to have turned the offer down in favour of staying with the Europa League finalists.

Tottenham eyeing move for 6ft 5in PL powerhouse they 'have been watching' for some time

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo this summer.

A report from Football London claims that the 6ft 5-inch defender has been on Tottenham's radar for a while.

The 25-year-old is in the final year of his contract and he could be available for a knockdown price in the summer.

Adarabioyo's distribution skills make him the ideal option for Ange Postecoglou's defensive unit and it remains to be seen whether Spurs can agree on a deal for him.

The report from Football London claims that Tottenham 'have been watching' the defender closely for some time and they are now weighing up a summer move for him.

The opportunity to play for Tottenham is likely to be an attractive option for the player and he will be tempted to join the north London club this summer. It would be a step up in his career and he would get to showcase his qualities at a higher level.

Although Tottenham have missed out on European qualification, they have an ambitious project with quality players and a quality manager. They will be an attractive destination for most players.

Tottenham have been linked with players like Edmond Tapsoba and Micky van de Ven as well but both players are likely to cost a lot more than other Adarabioyo. Furthermore, the 25-year-old is well-settled in the Premier League and he might be able to hit the ground running at Tottenham.

Willian 'doesn't rule out staying at Fulham'
Willian is willing to remain at Fulham if they put together a 'more attractive' offer for his services, according to reports from Brazil.

The Brazilian edition of Goal confirms tonight that the veteran winger was disappointed with the terms of the contract offer he was offered to remain at Craven Cottage and that he was hoping for more recognition of his consistency after starring for Marco Silva's side, who finished tenth in the Premier League. The former Chelsea and Arsenal winger wants to remain in the Premier League and has authorised his representatives to talk to other English clubs but he doesn't rule out remaining with the Whites if Fulham were to reopen negotiations.

West Ham now targeting £128m trio to replace Declan Rice at London Stadium
West Ham United are interested in a £128m trio to replace Declan Rice at the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham United have midfielders Denis Zakaria, Joao Palhinha and Alex Scott on their list to replace Declan Rice at the London Stadium this summer, Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has told GIVEMESPORT

David Moyes will hope to see the Irons' business conducted promptly ahead of the Hammers' return to pre-season training.

West Ham transfer news – Latest
With West Ham securing a deal worth £105m with Arsenal for the services of Rice, Moyes has been provided with a significant boost in his transfer budget as he looks to replace the Irons captain.

According to reports in Italy, West Ham have offered £13m to Juventus to sign Zakaria, who spent last season on loan at Chelsea, but face competition from Ligue 1 outfit Lens, who can offer Champions League football next term.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the London Stadium side's interest in Zakaria and Fulham's Palhinha in his recent column for CaughtOffside.

As per the MailOnline, Fulham will demand £90m for the 27-year-old midfielder, which puts a dent in the Hammers' chances of signing the Portugal international.

Transfer insider Dean Jones has recently told GIVEMESPORT that the east London club are "keeping an eye" on Palhinha as they weigh up on whether to make an offer.

Meanwhile, The Evening Standard reports that West Ham have held talks with representatives of Bristol City's Scott, with the teenager potentially commanding a fee of £25m.

And Bridge believes that Zakaria, Palhinha and Scott are the three names West Ham "like."

What has Bridge said about West Ham?
Speaking about West Ham's next steps after selling Rice, Bridge told GIVEMESPORT: "David Moyes, whatever fans think about him, is a very savvy manager, and the whole club will have known that this is happening, and they will have planned for it for some time.

"So, the names I've been given, alongside my colleagues, are Denis Zakaria at Juventus, Joao Palhinha at Fulham, who I think is a fantastic midfielder, and Alex Scott from Bristol City. Several Premier League clubs have watched him.

"I think they're the three names that have been out there. I've pretty much had the thumbs up that they are the three they like.

Would any of the trio be good signings for West Ham?
Whilst Rice's departure comes as a blow to West Ham and Moyes, securing two out of the three targets mentioned above would go some way to reducing the void left by their captain.

Zakaria will be champing at the bit to prove himself in the Premier League, having only been handed seven top-flight appearances at Chelsea during his loan spell from Juventus last season.

Palhinha has been an excellent addition to the Fulham squad since his reported £17m arrival from Sporting Lisbon last summer, making 4.2 tackles and 1.3 interceptions per game whilst chipping in with three goals in the league himself, according to WhoScored.

Meanwhile, Scott enjoyed an exceptional breakthrough campaign at Bristol City and was rewarded with the Championship Young Player of the Season award by the EFL, demonstrating the 19-year-old's potential ability.

Therefore, West Ham must move on from the departure of Rice by signing at least one of their trio of targets as they look to build on last season's Europa Conference League triumph.

"His quality and versatility to play both as a full-back and wing-back will really strengthen the squad, and we look forward to working with him."
