Not heard anything other than Sunderland are likely to have a clearout over the summer, if so would you take a punt on Kieran Richardson?
London boy I believe?
Absolutely killed us at home last season.
Great free kick taker.
Good pace.
Seemed to be doing well under Keane, but isnt figuring thie time around? Injured? Attitude?
I think under Roy he could really take off to reach the heights everyone expected.
Thoughts?
Show pony with attitude. Not one for Roy.

I think Tony is right. Can look a decent player though but don't think Roy would like him.

Yeah I used to think this about him also.
But then saw an interview with him, must of been start of last season. He spent all off season with a running and fitness coach back in London to get as fit as he possibly could. Dropped a few Kg's and looked good that season.
Maybe his change of attitude dimmed a little and he has fallen back into bad habits, hence we are not seeing him play.
Under normal cicumstances I would be in favour. However our midfield is pretty much full up at the moment and unless Roy can sell someone out of clint. Zoltan, Duff, Riise amd Davies.
I can't see any room for another wide player, especially as we'd be looking to sign Nicky Shorey too.
Why do you think kamara is up in Glasgow ???? his attitude ...and Roy gave altitude :D
if we had to go for a 'Mackem' ....Andy Reid is a very good play-maker, to share a spot with Danny perhaps ???
However, a 'black mark' is that Trappitoni has never pick him ...
With the likes of Gera, Duff, Murphy and Davies all aged 30(+), Richardson wouldn't be the worst signing.
But with Crystal Palace, Pompey and Cardiff in financial troubles, we could try to sign Darren Ambrose, Jo Ledley and/or Jamie O'Hara instead - they would definitely be much cheaper.
