Good lineup all things considered.
Everton seemed to have gone as strong as they could also.

Happy enough with that lineup. Some squad rotation is present, but most of our key players remain. Muniz has a chance to get the starting position going forward, in my opinion. I thought that his only start was by far the best game any of our strikers had this season, before Raul's recent good performances.
Leno over Rodak was a big call, but it means Marco ia definitely taking it seriously.
Everton fans seem miffed with their line up saying its to negative.
Also bemoaning keane being included amd form players being dropped heres hoping we can prove them right, and would love for iwobi to dominate
Yes, this is exactly what I thought- good lineup
Tete!!! Very happy to see him starting.
Agree about Leno. I feel bad for Rodak but I also think Marco needed to put out as strong aside as possible and go for it.
What's the deal re a draw? ET and pens or a replay?
Looks to me as if Marco has gone for his strongest team for the game with Cairney on the bench as a sub to come on if we fall behind.

I think Rodak would definitely prefer to be playing this game but should hopefully realise this game is going to be one of the most important matches of the season. We've never been to the semi-finals of the league cup so this will be massive.

ET and pens from semi-finals onwards.
Andy Lonergan (ex FFC) on the bench for Everton....

Do they really not have a younger, better backup keeper?

Sky saying EFC playing a five man defence?
Everton apparently have the tallest average height in the Premiership.
They used their height advantage successfully last weekend versus the young Burnley keeper Trafford at set plays, and corners in particular.
West Ham, another tall team, attempted the same against us but Leno was up the the task aided by our tall CBs.
Playing Rodak could have been a significant advantage to Everton.
