Chelsea tempt Tosin
Chelsea have offered a contract to Fulham central defender Tosin Adarabioyo in attempt to beat Newcastle United to his services, according to various reports this afternoon.

The Blues are looking to strengthen their defensive options during the close season and, like a number of other Premier League clubs seeking to manage their FFP exposure, view Adarabioyo as an attractive option after the centre back confirmed he would leave Craven Cottage when his contract expires at the end of next month. Newcastle had been long considered the front runners to sign the 26 year-old, but the Blues believe they could trump Eddie Howe's outfit after they qualified for European football.

Adarabioyo made 129 appearances, scoring five goals, in four years at Fulham but was dropped from Marco Silva's starting line-up in April after formally informing the club that he would be leaving on a free transfer. The Manchester-born defender turned two contract extension offers, including one that would have raised his salary close to £100,000-per-week.

Club America readying Raul raid
Fulham forward Raul Jimenez remains Club America's top target to replace Julian Quinones, according to reports from Mexico.

The 33 year-old striker scored 38 goals in 103 games with his boyhood club at the start of his career and has long professed a desire to end his playing days back at the Eagles. Jimenez himself has dismissed previous suggestions of making that move before his Craven Cottage contract, which has another year to run, expires and head coach Marco Silva insisted that he wanted to get the former Wolves man in press comments following Fulham's final game of the season.

Jimenez scored seven goals in 29 games during an injury-hit first campaign in SW6 that saw him usurped by Rodrigo Muniz for the lone striker role in the second half of the season.

Castagne: 'Our run in wasn't good enough'
Timothy Castagne is delighted to have established himself as a first-team regular with Fulham and is loving life at Craven Cottage – but has admitted a lacklustre finish to the season was not good enough.

The Belgian right back has replaced Kenny Tete as Marco Silva's first choice and impressed with a series of solid displays but told the Evening Standard he won't be resting his laurels this summer.

"My first season has been great. I've felt at home straight away. I think I was very consistent. I've helped more with assists and scoring [since January], but I know I can do more. If I can do better, we can go higher in the table.

The end of the season, we didn't play good enough. Before Sheffield [United] and Nottingham Forest, we were looking at maybe eighth position. Then you get one point out of six and we didn't recover from that; it went a bit downhill. There's no point in having a great season and then not getting results in the last five, six or seven games and basically just losing the objective. That's what we'll try to do better next season: have the same season but just finish better. We'll see what happens."

Fulham and Nottingham Forest set to have new chance to sign player – Club now open to negotiating
Fulham and Nottingham Forest should soon have a fresh chance to sign Morato from Benfica.

Following a strong chase from the Premier League clubs for the defender this season, the Portuguese media now claims that the Eagles are actually open to negotiating him.

Newspaper Jornal de Notícias features a piece claiming Morato has his future 'uncertain', as Benfica are willing to negotiate the offers that arrive for the player.

It's recalled that during the season, Fulham offered €25m for the signing, while Nottingham Forest showed up with an even higher bid, worth €30m.

It now remains to be seen how much would be needed to convince Benfica to let him go in the summer. For now, they do not have any fresh offers on their table.

Morato is originally a centre-back, but spent most of the season playing as a left-back, given the Eagles need for a player in that position.

At the time Fulham and Nottingham Forest made their attempts, he had already been playing there, so they know about his versatility. We should soon get to know if their interest still exists.

Wolves 'In the Hunt' for £50m Star This Summer
Wolves are in the market for attacking reinforcements and links to Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah continue to emerge

Wolves exceeded expectations in the Premier League last season, finishing just outside the top half.
Wolves are competing with Crystal Palace and Fulham for Eddie Nketiah, who might seek a move.
Wolves, Palace, and Fulham are interested in Nketiah, but Arsenal's high asking price could be an obstacle.

Wolverhampton Wanderers' season went from predictions of misery to a more-than-respectable campaign in the Premier League last season, with the Molineux-based side finishing just three points off the top half after a superb run of form throughout the winter months - but with improvements to be made to the squad, they are set to tussle with Crystal Palace and Fulham for the signing of Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal, Dean Jones has exclusively told GIVEMESPORT.

Wolves started the season in steady, if not uninspiring form but seven wins in 12 Premier League games saw them shoot into the top half of the table. That was unsustainable due to injury woes, but the west Midlands outfit did more than enough to stay in the division after some had tipped them to go down earlier in the campaign under Gary O'Neil. And they could be looking to add to their ranks in the summer with Nketiah linked as they continue their Premier League journey.

Eddie Nketiah: Transfer News Latest
Arsenal striker Nketiah has been on the peripherals of a first-team place

Nketiah has long been linked with a move away from Arsenal after playing third-string to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus this season, starting just 10 top-flight games all season with none of those coming in 2024.

A change in style from Mikel Arteta saw Havertz operate as a deep-lying striker, evidenced by his flurry of strikes late in the campaign with nine goals in 14 Premier League games to finish the season on a high.

Jesus has struggled and has also been linked away, though Nketiah has garnered reported interest from Wolves, Palace and Fulham as per Jones; whilst Leicester have also been linked with a move. Arsenal have set a reported £50million price tag on their homegrown talent which could scare some clubs off a move.

Jones: "Wolves Have Long-Standing Interest"
Nketiah has been on Wolves' radar for some time

Speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, Jones said that Wolves have a long-standing interest in the striker and that could be enough to tempt him with a move north to Molineux. Jones said:

"Wolves, Fulham and Crystal Palace are all in the hunt to add goals. With Palace, it will depend on exits because Jean-Philippe Mateta has been scoring well, but they may need some more firepower.

"Even if the players that exit are not like-for-like, like Nketiah, Wolves, Palace and Fulham - particularly Wolves and Palace - have had a long-standing interest in Nketiah.

"With Fulham we know they wanted a striker and they thought that it might work with Broja, but it hasn't -- so they will now be looking for more goals even though Rodrigo Muniz has had an excellent second half of the season.

"So there's several Premier League clubs, but particularly those three that I mentioned, that might be considering Nketiah - it's just about meeting Arsenal's asking price."

Wolves Could Sell Current Star to Afford Nketiah
Wolves' best stars are always on the radar of big teams

Wolves star Pedro Neto has been linked with a move away from Molineux with Manchester City and Newcastle thought to be circling his signature at £60million, though any move is a long way from completion.

But, with Hwang Hee-Chan and Matheus Cunha coming into the club and firing on all cylinders last season, there is without doubt room to be excited should Wolves have a strong transfer window in the coming months ahead.

Quartet of Premier League clubs finding it difficult to meet demands for highly rated defender
Tosin Adarabioyo, the towering centre-back currently with Fulham, finds himself in the middle of a transfer saga as financial issues complicate his potential move to a new club.

Having rejected a new contract offer from Fulham, Adarabioyo is poised to depart once his current deal expires at the end of June. However, despite considerable interest from some of the Premier League's top clubs, the process of securing his next destination is proving to be slower than anticipated.

Among the suitors, Newcastle United and Manchester United are keen to bolster their defensive options with the addition of Adarabioyo. Newcastle have reportedly put forward a concrete offer to the 26-year-old, aligning with their ambitions to strengthen their squad depth.

Manchester United, likewise, see Adarabioyo as a valuable addition to their defensive ranks, potentially offering him a significant role at Old Trafford.

Chelsea, Newcastle, Manchester United and Spurs are finding it difficult to get a deal done for Tosin Adarabioyo
Chelsea have also been linked with Adarabioyo, especially with the imminent arrival of Enzo Maresca as their new manager. Maresca, who is expected to sign a five-year contract, is looking to reinforce various positions on the pitch, and Adarabioyo fits the profile of the kind of player he wants to bring to Stamford Bridge. However, Chelsea's pursuit is being hindered by the financial demands associated with the transfer, per The Sun.

The primary obstacle delaying Adarabioyo's transfer is the financial package required to secure his services. Adarabioyo's high wage demands, coupled with significant agent fees, are proving to be a stumbling block for interested clubs.

Beyond Newcastle, Manchester United, and Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in Adarabioyo. However, similar to other clubs, they are also grappling with the financial aspects of the deal.
