Fulham and Bayern in talks over Palhinha move
Fulham are in talks with Bayern Munich about a potential deal for Joao Palhinha to join the German club.
The Portugal international, who will turn 29 next month, was targeted by Bayern last summer.
The two clubs were unable to agree a deal then but negotiations have resumed and Palhinha is keen to make the move.
He has made 68 Premier League appearances for the Whites since arriving from Sporting two years ago.
Fulham want close to £40m for Palhinha, having paid around £17m to bring him to west London.

Who could replace Joao Palhinha at Fulham if he joins Bayern Munich
HITC understands that Bayern Munich have seen their opening bid for Joao Palhinha rejected by Fulham but talks continue between the two clubs.
The 28-year-old has been one of the best defensive-minded midfielders in the Premier League in recent years after moving to Craven Cottage in 2022 from Sporting Lisbon.
Nobody made more tackles than Joao Palhinha during the 2022/23 campaign (152), with the next best being Wolves' Joao Gomes (128) and Sheffield United's Vinicius Souza (125).
That's one of the reasons why the no-nonsense midfielder has been attracting interest from the highest level of the game.
Close to £50 million is needed for Joao Palhinha
HITC confirmed over the weekend that Bayern, who recently appointed Vincent Kompany as their new manager, had rekindled their interest in Palhinha having failed in a deadline-day bid for the Portuguese star in 2023.
HITC has been told by sources that Palhinha, who signed a new deal with Fulham after his move to the German giants collapsed, has a 'gentleman's agreement' with the club's hierarchy that they would not stand in his way if they returned, which they now have.
However, the London club have also made it clear to him they would not let him leave on a bargain deal – hence they have rejected Bayern's opening offer of around £30m. The two clubs agreed a deal worth £60m previously, and whilst Fulham will accept less, HITC is told they want close to £50m.
Fulham target Morten Hjulmand and Florentino Luis to replace Joao Palhinha
HITC understands that Fulham could look to Portugal to replace Palhinha as two players on their radar are Sporting Lisbon's highly-rated Dane Morten Hjulmand and Benfica's Florentino Luis.
Sources told HITC in April that Manchester United and Newcastle United sent scouts to Lisbon to watch Hjumand in action, with the 24-year-old helping Sporting to the league title this season and is now hoping to make his mark at Euro 2024.
On the other hand, Florentino was a regular for Benfica in the league and Europe this term. His side picked up four points in the Champions League and had to drop down to the Europa League, where Marseille knocked them out.
The Portuguese market has worked well for Fulham in recent years and Marco Silva's judgement has resulted in several players thriving under his stewardship.

Bayern Munich revive Joao Palhinha transfer with new £30m bid for Fulham midfielder
Vincent Kompany wants to make the Portugal international a key early signing in his Allianz Arena reign
Bayern Munich are in talks with Fulham over a deal to sign Joao Palhinha.
The Bundesliga giants have made a bid worth around £30million for the midfielder after reviving their interest in him.
Palhinha was close to joining Bayern for £58m last summer but the move fell through on transfer deadline day because Fulham failed to sign a replacement in time.
He subsequently signed a lucrative new contract until 2028, with the option for a further year, but the 28-year-old could now leave Craven Cottage this summer.
Palhinha has been a revelation since joining Fulham for £17m from Sporting CP in 2022.
He was the Premier League's most prolific tackler in each of the past two seasons and is set to be a key player for Portugal at Euro 2024.
Bayern are pressing ahead with plans to back new manager Vincent Kompany with new signings after finishing third in Germany and failing to win a trophy this season.
Fulham vice-chairman and sporting director Tony Khan said in February that Palhinha's sale could be sanctioned for the right price.
Khan said: "I would want him as part of the team for as long as possible and we were very happy to extend his contract, but if an offer came along that would make sense for everyone I think that's something you have to consider with every player at the right time."
Fulham have already lost one key player this month, with defender Tosin Adarabioyo joining Chelsea on a free transfer.

Fulham Set Financial Expectations For Star Amid Man Utd Interest
Fulham have set their financial expectations if they are to let Joao Palhinha, who is on Manchester United's radar, leave this summer according to Sky Sports News.
Bayern Munich's attempt to sign Palhinha last summer collapsed on the final day and he returned to Fulham.
The midfielder signed a new contract last year and has continued to remain a key part of Marco Silva's plans going forward.
Bayern Munich are again trying to sign the midfielder this summer and are in talks with Fulham over getting a deal done, while Manchester United are also keen on the Portuguese.
However, Fulham are not willing to accept an offer of £30m for Palhinha and value him higher.
It has been claimed that they want double the £30m figure the German giants wanted to pay for the midfielder.
Bayern Munich could also face competition from Barcelona, as well as Manchester United, for Palhinha's signature.
However, both clubs have issues to sort out before they can make a move for him with Manchester United yet to settle on the identity of their manager next season.
Fulham are open to selling the Portuguese but they do not want to move him on at a cut-price fee.

Manchester United in pole position to sign Fulham's João Palhinha
An underwhelming start to the summer for Manchester United fans could be about to get more interesting if Sky's Kaveh Solhekol is to be believed.
The reporter claims that the Red Devils are one of three teams chasing Fulham's world class midfielder João Palhinha and the only one of the three that can afford, or might be willing to meet his £60 million asking price.
It had been widely anticipated that the world-class midfielder would be completing a move to Bayern Munich this summer after narrowly missing out on a move to the Allianz arena last season when his transfer deal collapsed on deadline day.
However, despite a new flurry of activity from the Bavarian capital, a deal is not close according to Solhekol, with the two sides miles apart in their valuations.
"Fulham value Joao Palhinha at double £30m bid they have rejected from Bayern Munich;" the Sky man posted this morning.
"Barcelona and Man United also interested but Barcelona have financial issues and there's uncertainty surrounding managerial situation at United. No release clause in Palhinha's contract."
With Erik ten Hag back from holiday and expected to return to work at Carrington tomorrow, United's managerial uncertainty looks to have abated, leaving them, in theory, best placed to land the classy Portuguese.
While Bayern are probably one of the few clubs that could afford £60 million, it is unclear whether they would be willing to stump up that much for a single purchase of that nature in this window.
As Solhekol notes, Barcelona are certainly in no position to get anywhere near £60 million and in any event would be prioritising other areas on the pitch.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich discover Joao Palhinha asking price
Fulham have set an asking price of £60million for Joao Palhinha after rejecting Bayern Munich's opening bid for the midfielder.
Palhinha's move to the Allianz Arena collapsed last August, with the Portuguese midfielder remaining at Craven Cottage.
The 28-year-old made it clear to Fulham in January that he remained keen on a move to Munich but the Germans failed to sanction a move due to uncertainty over Thomas Tuchel's position.
But Vincent Kompany has green-lighted a move for the midfielder, which saw Bayern submit a £30m bid for him over the weekend.
That offer was rejected, with Manchester United now watching the situation.
Fulham are resigned to losing the midfielder but Sky Sports report that they want £60m for Palhinha.
That's a figure that United could easily reach, but the managerial uncertainty at Old Trafford could hand the advantage to Bayern.
United are expected to announce a decision on Erik ten Hag this week.
Thomas Tuchel will not be Ten Hag's successor, despite holding talks with Sir Jim Ratcliffe in Monaco last week.
Mauricio Pochettino and Gareth Southgate remain in the frame.

Fulham 'value Palhinha at £60m'
Fulham value Joao Palhinha at £60m, according to Sky Sports News.
The Cottagers rejected an offer of £29.8m from Bayern Munich last week and are braced for the German giants to return with another bid. But Sky Germany's reporting that a deal for the 28 year-old could be completed prior to the start of Euro 2024 appears to be wide of the mark, with Fulham believing Bayern's initial offer was derisory.
The Premier League club will only sell the former Sporting Lisbon schemer, who has topped the Premier League's tackle table for two seasons in a row, for an amount close to their valuation and believe they are in a strong position as Palhinha extended his contract shortly after his deadline day move to Bayern fell through last September. Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol says that there is no release clause in Palhinha's contract – and Fulham are prepared to play hardball to ensure they get a big fee for one of Marco Silva's key players.

"I always believed" – Fulham player on top of the world, won't harm transfer chances
Until a few months ago, Andreas Pereira only had one appearance for Brazil. That was made back in 2018, when he played a friendly against El Salvador. Since he failed to impress, he was not given another chance in the following years.
The midfielder, however, has been in good form at Fulham recently, and that resulted in his return to the squad. With manager Dorival Junior taking charge, the 28-year-old was called up again in March this year, and is now going to the Copa América.
Pereira was a starter in a friendly against Mexico at the weekend and scored a beautiful goal. Now quoted by Globo Esporte, he talks about what that means to him.
"Of course it's very difficult to be away from the national team for so long, but I always believed and the people around me told me that I had to work hard to one day return. I've always kept that dream alive and, thank God, after a long time working very hard I'm now reaping the rewards," said Andreas Pereira.
"It was an incredible feeling, inexplicable, I'm very happy, it still hasn't sunk in that I scored my first goal. A lot of things went through my head at the time, everything I've been through to be here. It's been a dream since I was a kid to score for the national team and today I'm living this moment. I'm very happy."
Globo Esporte highlights the fact that the Fulham is the first foreigner to ever score for Brazil. He was born in Belgium, but is the son of Brazilian parents and was raised speaking Portuguese and travelling to South America.
Recent reports from Brazil said Pereira is now wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
After such a good goal, and with the Copa América ahead of him, then the chances of a Fulham exit definitely become higher.

Stansfield tuning up for new season in Dubai
Fulham forward Jay Stansfield is limbering up for the new season with a personal fitness camp in Dubai, according to the Lancashire Evening Post.
The England under-21 international is set to be a key part of Marco Silva's first-team squad during the forthcoming campaign after two successful loan spells at Exeter City and Birmingham City. The young striker scored thirteen goals in 47 games despite Blues' relegation from the Championship last term and Silva, under whom Stansfield scored his first Fulham goal, has confirmed that he will part of his plans for the 2024/25 season.

Fulham fancy Bruun Larsen
Fulham are interested in signing Danish winger Jacob Bruun Larsen, according to the Sun reporter Alan Nixon.
The Hoffenheim winger, who scored seven goals in 37 appearances for relegated Burnley last season, is available for around £6m from the German side this summer. Brunn Larsen, who broke into the Borussia Dortmund first team after moving from Lyngby, has won six senior caps for Denmark and has been included in their Euro 2024 squad.
The 25 year-old caught the eye in Burnley's victory at Craven Cottage last December and has been on Fulham's radar for some time. He would provide an option on either flank as well as a number ten for Marco Silva and, despite Burnley's attempts to try and convert the loan into a permanent deal, would be keen to remain in the Premier League.

Fulham Swooping In For Star Burnley Had On Loan
Fulham are agreeing a bargain deal to sign Burnley loan star Jacob Bruun Larsen from his parent club Hoffenheim, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The winger joined Burnley on a season-long loan last summer and made 32 appearances in the Premier League for the Clarets.
Bruun Larsen's performances impressed Burnley and they held talks with Hoffenheim in a bid to keep him on a permanent basis, but those hopes look to have been dashed.
Now Fulham want to strengthen their attacking department and Bruun Larsen has caught their eye.
He is set to enter the final year of his contract with Hoffenheim and the German club are ready to part ways with him for the right price.
And it has been claimed that the Cottagers are swooping in to sign the Danish winger on a bargain £6m deal.
Fulham are short in the left-wing department and they are still in talks with Willian to find an agreement to extend his stay.
Bruun Larsen is the player that Fulham want and they look to be in pole position to keep him and in the process leave Burnley disappointed.

Burnley set for transfer blow as Fulham prepare £6m swoop for seven-goal winger
Burnley reportedly face competition from Fulham for the permanent signing of Hoffenheim winger Jacob Bruun Larsen.
Burnley may miss out on signing Jacob Bruun Larsen permanently as Fulham prepare a £6 million bid for the winger.
Bruun Larsen was a standout performer for Burnley last season and was exploring a permanent move to the club, but Fulham are now close to an agreement with Hoffenheim.
With the uncertainty of a new manager for Burnley and other star players attracting interest, securing a new manager soon is crucial for the club.
Burnley could be set to miss out on the permanent signing of Jacob Bruun Larsen from Hoffenheim as Premier League side Fulham prepare a bid for the winger.
Bruun Larsen spent last season on loan at Turf Moor, and he was one of the standout performers in what was an incredibly disappointing campaign for the Clarets as they were relegated from the top flight with a total of just 24 points.
In addition to Bruun Larsen's six Premier League goals, he also scored once in the EFL Cup, and Burnley announced in their retained list that they were exploring a permanent move for the 25-year-old.
However, they could now be set for disappointment as journalist Alan Nixon claims that Fulham are plotting a £6 million move for Bruun Larsen, and the Cottagers are close to reaching an agreement with Hoffenheim.
It is the latest blow for the Clarets after another of last season's loanees, defender Lorenz Assignon, rejected the chance to return to the club this summer, but they have signed Maxime Esteve and Mike Tresor permanently.
Burnley are currently without a manager after Vincent Kompany's departure to Bayern Munich, and Craig Bellamy has been appointed as acting head coach, while Frank Lampard, Steve Cooper, Scott Parker, Raphael Wicky, Marti Cifuentes, Carlos Corberan and Alan Pardew have all been linked with the job.
Jacob Bruun Larsen reflects on Burnley loan spell
Speaking prior to his move to Bayern, Kompany revealed that he was keen to bring Bruun Larsen back to Turf Moor this summer.
In a post on social media last month, Bruun Larsen said that he had "fallen in love" with the club, but he admitted he was unsure where his long-term future lies.
"As the season ends I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your constant support," Bruun Larsen wrote on Instagram.
"I was filled with sadness that the season ended with relegation but feel sure the joy can return again soon.
"To every one of you who supports us - thank you. We hear you. It means so much.
To everyone who works for this amazing football club - thank you. This is why we are a team that will never give up.
"I have fallen in love with this club and have given everything, all season, and I feel proud to be your top scorer.
"I do not know yet what the future holds - but for now, again, thank you."
On the basis of those words, it seems likely that Bruun Larsen would have been open to a return to Lancashire this summer, but as Fulham reportedly close in on a deal, he will get the opportunity to remain in the Premier League at Craven Cottage.
Jacob Bruun Larsen situation underlines need for Burnley managerial resolution
In truth, it always seemed unlikely Burnley would be able to bring Bruun Larsen back to the club this summer, but Kompany's exit will not have helped their hopes of securing his return.
Bruun Larsen was one of few players to emerge with any credit from the Clarets' disappointing relegation season as he finished as their top scorer, and he certainly deserves to stay in the Premier League.
The winger is also part of the Denmark squad for Euro 2024, so playing in the top flight will be important for his international career.
However, it would have been difficult for Burnley to convince Bruun Larsen to return without a manager in place, and with other star players likely to attract interest over the coming weeks, it is essential that owner Alan Pace makes an appointment soon.

Fulham Have Two Joao Palhinha Replacements 'Lined Up'
Joao Palhinha has once again been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and that has seen Fulham source replacements
Bayern Munich are pursuing Joao Palhinha, with a rumoured fee of £38million wanted by Fulham.
Fulham are eyeing Morten Hjulmand and Florentino Luis as potential replacements.
Sasa Lukic could also compete for Palhinha's spot or complement a new signing in midfield.
Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha is a highly sought-after star at the moment with Bayern Munich reportedly working hard to secure his signature after missing out on him last summer - but GIVEMESPORT sources have exclusively revealed that Morten Hjulmand and Florentino Luis are already on Fulham's radar to replace their midfield maestro.
Palhinha was seen as a relative coup for Fulham when he joined the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2022, and he has lived up to expectations with some superb defensive performances in the middle of the park that has seen Fulham secure two mid-table finishes in the process. But with Bayern returning for his signature, Palhinha looks as though he may be on his way out of the exit door - with Cottagers chiefs already looking at their contingency plan.
Joao Palhinha: Transfer News Latest
Palhinha has been a superb player for Fulham
Reports over the weekend suggested that Palhinha has agreed personal terms with the German side, having done so last summer before a move broke down.
All that is left is for the two clubs to agree on a fee, with Bayern offering around £30million for his services, though Fulham are thought to want a sum in the area of £38million, which has created a stand-off thus far.
Sources: Fulham Have Lined Up Two Replacements
The Cottagers know who they want to bring in
GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed that Fulham had always expected the deal for Palhinha to join Bayern to crop up again; and as such, plans are already in place to replace their Portuguese midfielder should he leave Craven Cottage.
Potential replacement signings have already been identified if the international does depart west London in the coming weeks - with both coming from his homeland. Palhinha was bought from Sporting, and Marco Silva could return to the Primeira Liga winners to replace the 28-year-old with Danish star Hjulmand.
Hjulmand has been linked with Manchester United in recent weeks ahead of a potential move, though that has not taken off just yet with reports suggesting United must pay his £67.5million release clause - and having excelled at Sporting, Fulham may have to act quick if they are to secure his signature.
The other player is from Sporting's rivals, Benfica - in the form of Luis. A tough tackling, tenacious midfielder, Luis has also been linked with Everton recently but nothing has been made on that front just yet.
It is so far unclear as to which direction Fulham would go in should Palhinha leave, and other names are being explored in a bid to replace one of their stars in the correct manner. But one player already at the club could come in to fill the gap that would be left by Palhinha in Sasa Lukic.
The 27-year-old Serbian star joined Fulham 18 months ago and has so far played a bit-part role in west London, but he could get the nod next season in any case - whether that be to directly replace Palhinha or compete with a new signing for his spot in the team.
Targets Show Fulham's Insane Progression
Links to new stars show how far Fulham have developed in two years
Palhinha has been immense for Fulham and there is no getting away from the fact that he would be incredibly hard to replace should he depart for the Allianz Arena.
The Portugal midfielder was ahead of all other Premier League players in terms of tackles per game last season and his tenacity allows stars such as Alex Iwobi, Harry Wilson and Andreas Pereira to shine in attacking areas.
But with links to players courted by Everton and Manchester United, it shows how far the club have come in their two seasons in the top-flight.

Player wants Fulham exit sorted 'this week' – Entourage waiting for the green light
Following all recent reports about Bayern Munich and Fulham being in advanced talks for the transfer of João Palhinha, it seems it's the player who wants the move completed as soon as possible.
According to Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg, the midfielder would like the deal 'done aand sealed' this week, before the Euros start.
It's said Palhinha only wants to leave Fulham for Bayern, as that's his 'big dream', and there are no talks with any other clubs right now.
The midfielder's entourage is now said to be waiting for the 'green light' in the talks between the Whites and the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern Munich president Max Eberl is said to be pushing to get the deal done for between €40m and €45m, which simply feels too low.
Several reports at the start of this week have already claimed that Fulham rejected the initial bid, worth a few million less than that, and the German club may now make the definitive bid.
Palhinha was of course the subject of a failed move to Bayern Munich, so he'll know better than most that a transfer isn't certain to happen until it's completed.

Tottenham Hotspur target remains coy on future plans amidst heavy PL interestAndreas Pereira refuses to give away future plans amidst Tottenham interestTottenham Hotspur target Andreas Pereira admitted he is not focused on what comes next at this stage as he prepares for this summer's Copa America with Brazil. The Brazilian midfielder was shortlisted by Spurs to sign in the summer.
Pereira has experience in playing different leagues across Europe. The 28-year-old has featured in Premier League, La Liga and Serie A and Brazilian League in his career. The attacking midfielder had a successful campaign with his current club, Fulham, where he scored three goals and nine assists in 44 games across all competitions.
The player has offers from multiple top clubs, but Fulham tactician Marco Silva needs the Brazilian midfielder in his squad for the upcoming campaigns. Pereira also has intentions to stay in the club. A better price can change his intentions.
The player have now been called to the Brazilian national team for the upcoming Copa America, According to Brazil, the competition is very crucial as they haven't achieved anything for a while. The trophy drought for the Selacos began in the last Copa America final which Brazil lost to their greatest rival, Argentina. Also, they witnessed Argentina winning the World Cup in Qatar.
The dark phase was very difficult for both the players and the supporters. They are gradually coming to the winning track after Dorival Junior took the team in January. Under Dorival Brazil's national team hopes to lift the Copa America trophy.
Dorival has a very important role in Pereira's career. The gaffer gave many opportunities for the Brazilian when he played under him for Flamengo, also the tactician improved his playing style and skills.
"It helped me a lot at a time when I really needed it. I will always carry in my heart how much it helped and was important in my career. I'm happy to have him as a coach here in the team. I need help to repay what you did for me..."
Pereira shared his excitement to play under Dorival, He also confirmed his future journey will be only decided after the Copa America.
It's difficult to talk about the future now, I'm completely focused on the national team. After the title, God willing, I'll think about my future at the club. I'll sit down with my agent and decide my future,"
said Pereira at a Brazil press conference, via UOL. Ange Postecoglou is looking for a number of players to strengthen the squad. Till now, the Aussie coach is looking for young players in the transfer market, but he needs a well-experienced man in the middle so he can easily build passes and attacks from the midfielders.

Bayern Munich continue discussions with Fulham over Joao Palhinha fee, after the Premier League club rejected a £30m bid last week for their star defensive midfielder
Bayern Munich are continuing discussions with Fulham over Joao Palhinha
The German giants had a £30m bid rejected, with the London club seeking more
Bayern Munich are continuing discussions with Fulham over a fee for Joao Palhinha, after a £30m bid was rejected last week.
The West London club believe that the fee is too low for their star midfielder, but the Germans remain hopeful of reaching an agreement.
The Portugal international is keen to go to the Bundesliga, with Vincent Kompany charged with getting Bayern back to the top of the German league following a poor season by their standards under Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern tried to sign Palhinha last August for £60million, and he even underwent the first part of his medical, but the deal fell through as Marco Silva's Fulham could not find a replacement.
Palhinha is expected to sign a four or five year contract, should the clubs find an agreement on the fee.

Palhinha is expected to sign a four or five year contract, should the clubs find an agreement on the fee.
Midfielder Palhinha joined Fulham from Sporting Lisbon in 2022, and was named the London club's player of the year after an impressive debut season.
He has played 79 times for the Cottagers, netting eight goals, while building a reputation as one of the Premier League's best defensive midfielders.
Palhinha has 27 Portugal caps, and is likely to start alongside Bruno Fernandes in midfield, as Roberto Martinez's side look to win the European Championships in Germany this summer.
Portugal begin their campaign against Czechia on Tuesday week, before Group F games with Ukraine and Georgia.
Seperately, Fulham are in talks with Hoffenheim over a deal for Jacob Bruun Larsen.
The Danish winger, 25, was on loan at Burnley last season, where he made 36 appearances across all competitions, netting seven goals.

Exclusive: Fulham's bid for Tosin Adarabioyo replacement set to fail
There was always going to be a chance that Tosin Adarabioyo moved on from Fulham this summer, so it was no real surprise when he was announced as a new Chelsea player.
The way in which football has evolved means that players and their agents have clawed back some of the power in terms of negotiation tactics, given that anyone with a year or less on their contracts can determine what happens next.
Ultimately, clubs can still decide to sell players of course, however, if they prefer that those players stay put, then arguably they need to match any figures that the player might be capable of acquiring by moving elsewhere.
Fulham want Silas to replace Tosin Adarabioyo
With Tosin available on a free transfer because Fulham were never going to be able to compete financially, Chelsea were the beneficiaries, and with no transfer fee to pay either, the Blues have been able to offer the 26-year-old a significant uplift on the £40,000 p/w wages (Capology) he received from the Cottagers.
According to talkSPORT, he even turned down £100,000 per week from Newcastle, so the expectation is that he's getting more from the Blues.
With Tosin no longer Fulham's concern they have been concentrating on securing his replacement, and according to CaughtOffside sources, Bundesliga outfit, Stuttgart, have rejected Fulham's €8m bid for 25-year-old Congolese defender, Silas Katompa Mvumpa, known simply as Silas and formerly as Silas Wamangituka Fundu.
Fulham are planning to make a new offer for the player and it's expected to be around the €15m mark – almost double their opening gambit given the urgency with which the club need to secure Tosin's replacement.
The West Londoners will, in the meantime, continue to hold talks with alternative names as it's understood that the Congolese won't prioritise leaving Stuttgart due to the fact that they will play in the Champions League next season.
If a good offer arrives, however, his opinion may change.

So our price for Palhinha is either 40m, 50m or 60m depending on the story you read and apparently we are very desperate to replace a CB with a winger before the window is even open. The state of journalism is something else.
A lot of media generated rumour around at the moment but it does seem possible that some big clubs are looking at some of our best players.
We need to keep our best players of course but this may not be possible, essential then that we negotiate good transfer prices. These big clubs have deep pockets, we must ensure their hands reach the bottom of those pockets.

Morten Hjulmand's release clause is reportedly €80m so that looks a non starter.
