Fulham fighting to keep Leno, Robinson and Pereira
Fulham are braced for big summer interest in Bernd Leno, Antonee Robinson and Andreas Pereira, according to reports this afternoon.

The Whites are already playing hardball over Joao Palhinha, with Bayern Munich reigniting last year's collapsed move to Germany ahead of the European Championships, and GiveMeSport suggests the Cottagers are fighting to keep hold of three more key players in Marco Silva's first team squad.

Goalkeeper Leno, a virtual ever-present since he moved from Arsenal two years ago, is a target for several Saudi Arabian sides having kept ten clean sheets for the Whites last year. The 32 year-old is under contract at Craven Cottage until 2027 and Fulham would be loathe to lose their goalkeeper having seen Aleksandar Mitrovic successfully force through a move to Al Hilal last September.

There is rumoured to be 'growing concern' about the immediate future of Antonee Robinson, who is currently preparing for the Copa America with the United States. The flying left-back was one of Fulham's most consistent performers last term and GMS links Manchester United and Chelsea, who are both looking to add to their full back stocks this summer, as interested in the former Wigan man.

Pereira has spoken publicly about deciding on his future following the Copa America. The former Manchester United number ten has been linked to a host of Premier League clubs in the Brazilian press and this latest report mentions Aston Villa as a possible summer destination. That Villa will need to sell before they buy is thought to be no barrier to a potential move, with the Brazilian international looking to test himself in the Champions' League.

Ream not finished at Fulham
Tim Ream says he hasn't made his last appearance for Fulham – despite being heavily linked with a summer move to MLS side Charlotte FC.

The veteran centre back was given a rapturous reception by the travelling fans as he captained Marco Silva's side to a 4-2 win at Luton Town in May and, in his first public comments since the prospect of a return to the United States emerged, he insisted that he wanted to stay at Craven Cottage.

Speaking to ESPN ahead of the USA's involvement in the Copa America, the 36 year-old said:

"I was just happy to be able to do that [captain Fulham to victory at Luton]. I don't consider it – and haven't considered it – to be my last appearance at there. As for anything else, right now my focus is here. Whatever's going on in terms of transfers, it's not really something that I'm paying attention to and focused on. There's a job to do here with this group and that's what I'm focused on, a hundred per cent."

Luton reportedly offer a contract to ex-Fulham and Bristol Rovers youngster
Forward netted four times against the Hatters U17s recently

Luton Town are believed to have offered a deal to former Bristol Rovers academy forward Jordan Iwhiwhu.

The 17-year-old joined the youth set-up at the Memorial Stadium in March 2022 along with his younger brother Excel, but left earlier this year. During his time with the Gas, Iwhiwhu also played for Fulham U18s, making his Cottagers U18 Premier League debut in a 5-0 victory over Norwich City in February, playing 64 minutes until being substituted.

He then went on to score four times in one game against the Hatters U17s later that month, as the two teams played out an entertaining 5-5 draw. Town, who had Dominic Dos Santos Martins and Dylan Stitt in their side, netted through Jamie Odegah's double, with a trialist also grabbing a brace and Matthew Takawira on target. Iwhiwhu, who according to Bristol Live will sign a professional contract with Town's Development squad in the coming weeks, was the stand-out Cottagers performer on the day, bagging all but one of their goals.

The Hatters trimmed their U21 squad recently, with forwards Josh Allen, Tobias Braney and Millar Matthews-Lewis all released, the latter after a promising loan move to Farnborough. Jack Bateson, Josh Odell-Bature, Jacob Pinnington and Dominic Dos Santos Martins penned contract extensions at Kenilworth Road, but the trio of Oliver Camis, Archie Heron and Ben Tompkins were all let go as well.

EXCLUSIVE: Tierney targeted by Arsenal's Premier League rivals
Fulham are ready to move for Arsenal's Kieran Tierney as they brace themselves for losing USMNT star Antonee Robinson this summer, sources have indicated to FootballTransfers.

Sources indicate that Fulham are open to letting Robinson leave if a suitable offer is made.

Manchester United and Liverpool are showing serious interest in the 27-year-old. Both clubs are expected to bring in a new left-back for the upcoming Premier League season.

Robinson, who was Fulham's Player of the Season, appeared in 37 matches for the Premier League side, starting every single one, while notching six assists in the competition as well.

One of the players under close consideration is Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney, who is currently with Scotland at Euro 2024.

The Cottagers came close to signing the Scot when he was at Celtic. He was scouted at the time by former Arsenal player Brian Talbot, who is still working for the South London club.

Celtic are also interested in taking Tierney back to Parkhead, but sources indicate they are unlikely to be able to afford him.

Arsenal target £15m fee for Tierney
He remains under contract with Arsenal until 2026 and the Gunners are said to be looking for around €17.8 million (£15m) for the versatile defender, who primarily plays as a left-back but can also play in a central defensive three or even on the right.

The 27-year-old, who has played 124 times for the Gunners, fell out of favour at the Emirates and was loaned to Real Sociedad at the start of last season.

Tierney made 26 appearances for the LaLiga club across all competitions but was troubled by injury problems during this spell – an issue that has plagued him throughout his career.

He has already announced his intention to play elsewhere next season.

Sociedad had an option to buy the Scotland international included in the deal but opted not to exercise it.

If Fulham were to land Tierney around the €18m mark, that would constitute a bargain given the Arsenal man has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €20.7m.

Fulham are ready to make move to sign £15m Arsenal player who's currently at Euro 2024
Fulham and Scottish giants Celtic are interested in signing one Arsenal defender this summer.

The Gunners are expected to part ways with a number of players in this window. As many as 10 players have been put on the 'chopping block' by Mikel Arteta.

Emile Smith Rowe has already been linked with a move to Fulham. Now, Marco Silva's side are thinking of signing another player from Arsenal.

However, this move depends on one condition.

Fulham want to sign Arsenal's Kieran Tierney on one condition
Arsenal star Kieran Tierney is expected to leave the club this summer.

The Scot joined the Gunners back in 2019, when Unai Emery was still at the helm. He is a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium, but he is no longer in Arteta's plans.

Arsenal have Jurrien Timber, Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu all ahead of Tierney at left-back, while the Gunners are trying to sign Jorrel Hato too in that position.

That almost certainly brings an end to Tierney's Arsenal career, and Football Transfers now reveal that Fulham would like to sign him – but only if their current left-back leaves.

The Cottagers are open to selling Antonee Robinson, who has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Liverpool.

If the USMNT international is sold, Tierney is the man they want as his replacement, and Arsenal are ready to sell him.

The report claims the Gunners are looking for £15 million to sell Tierney this summer.

Celtic's stance on signing Tierney
Along with Fulham, Celtic are said to be interested in signing Tierney this summer.

The defender is a hero at Parkhead having helped the Hoops win five Scottish League titles and six domestic cups while he was there.

Tierney has admitted that he would love to return to Celtic, but only if he is feeling 100 per cent.

However, the report claims that although Celtic would like to sign him, they just cannot match Arsenal's demands for him in this window.

Tierney is currently away on international duty with Scotland at Euro 2024. His future will likely be decided once he is back.

Fulham tracking Tierney
Fulham are interested in signing Arsenal's Scottish left back Kieran Tierney, according to reports this morning.

The Whites are looking for a left back this summer both as a deputy to Antonee Robinson and a potential replacement for the American international should big money offers arrive for the former Wigan Athletic full-back.

Tierney, currently preparing for Scotland's opening Euro 2024 fixture against Germany on Friday night, is a long-standing Fulham target, who was watched regularly by the Cottagers' chief scout Brian Talbot when he was at Celtic. Arsenal are open to selling the 27 year-old this summer, who has made 124 appearances for the Gunners, for a fee of around £15m.

The attack-minded has already publicly announced his intention to look for a new home this summer having fallen out of favour under Mikel Arteta and finished last season on loan at Real Sociedad, where he made 26 appearances.

Fulham plot €15 million bid for Leeds United target after offer rejected
VfB Stuttgart forward Silas is a target of both Fulham and Leeds United this summer.

Fulham bid rejected for Silas by Stuttgart, drawing interest from Leeds and others across Europe as player considers leaving current squad.
Leeds seeking to address the need to bolster attacking options ahead of next season, facing competition for notable signings, including CR7 Player of the Year.
As they look to rebuild after playoff disappointment, Leeds has key players returning but must confront challenges in retaining stars and making significant new signings.

Fulham have had a bid rejected from VfB Stuttgart for Leeds United target Silas Katompa Mvumpa and are now readying a second €15 million offer, according to Caught Offside.

The Whites' hopes of returning to the Premier League at the first time of asking were dashed in familiar fashion as they came unstuck in the play-offs for the second time in five seasons, losing to Southampton this time in the final at Wembley after finishing third in the league standings.

The repercussions of that will become clearer as the summer window unfolds. But with the likes of Championship Player of the Year Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto set to be in high demand this summer, Leeds are going to need to rebuild parts of their team, including bolstering their attacking options ahead of next season.

Daniel Farke faces a battle to keep hold of Summerville this summer, with The Mirror reporting the Dutchman has attracted interest from Liverpool and Crystal Palace, while The Athletic noted Newcastle are also keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, who scored 19 goals in 45 league appearances last season.

Summerville has also been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen, according to German outlet Sportbild, and Brighton are said to be able to offer Summerville the opportunity to play regular first-team football, highlighting that there's no shortage of interest across Europe.

In April, meanwhile, Football Insider reported Leeds were likely to accept offers in the region of £30 million for Gnonto, who scored eight goals in 36 games in the Championship last term. However, Leeds will retain some of their playing squad for another shot at Championship promotion.

Brenden Aaronson is sticking around next season, and Dan James is expected to as well; but with Jaidon Anthony's loan ending, and Summerville and Gnonto's futures up in the air, it is likely to leave Leeds short in wide areas, which will become an area to address this summer.

Leeds' interest in Stuttgart's Silas
Leeds and Fulham have taken an interest in Stuttgart attacker Silas, according to BILD. According to the report, the player is thinking of leaving his current squad and considering his impressive scoring and assisting statistics from the 2023/24 campaign, it's no surprise that there is plenty of interest in the player.

Premier League outfit Fulham are thought to be keen on him, as well as Leeds, who could be at a disadvantage in this race considering they remain in the second tier. BILD believe that any team who wants to sign Silas may have to cough up between €8 million and €10 million to lure him away from the Bundesliga - a price tag that could be a steep one for Leeds.

Fulham have now reportedly seen a bid rejected for the 25-year-old, according to Caught Offside. The Cottagers have started their bidding at €8 million in an attempt to get their business done early for the DR Congo international, who has two years remaining on his contract with Stuttgart.

It is said that the West Londoners are now readying a second bid, worth €15 million for Silas but they could find it tough to convince him as it is thought he won't priortise leaving the Bundesliga club as they're set to play Champions League football next season.

Silas has been with Stuttgart since 2019, joining the club while they were still in the German second tier. He has played a key role in their rise up the ranks, though, with 35 goals and 21 assists coming in 131 appearances for the club, per Transfermarkt.

Silas' career stats - per Transfermarkt
Club      Appearances     Goals  Assists
Paris FC       35     11  2
VfB Stuttgart        131     35  21
DR Congo        16     1

Leeds United's forward line in 2024/25
It's unclear at this stage if Leeds will step up their interest in the versatile wide attacker, with the Whites' financial situation unclear until sales are made, and even with a second year of parachute payments, they may have a very limited amount to spend in the transfer market after some big spending in recent years.

Either way, somewhat of a retooling of the forward line is needed this summer, and Leeds will want to replace the raw speed, dynamism, and end product of Summerville. Silas has the direct dribbling and athleticism to be a success at Elland Road.

However, a passer is a must for Leeds in the summer. Most of their attacking players thrive in counter-attacking moments, but they need a playmaker on top of the transitional threats of Georginio Rutter, James, Aaronson, and possibly Silas now as well.

Fulham keen on Teden Mengi as two centre-backs targeted
The Luton Town defender was a target in January and Marco Silva is ready to reignite interest

Fulham are interested in Luton Town defender Teden Mengi and plan to sign at least two centre-backs this summer.

Manager Marco Silva insisted last month that the club must strengthen in central defence.

The need for more centre-backs grew last week when Tosin Adarabioyo's exit was confirmed, with the 26-year-old leaving on a free transfer to join rivals Chelsea.

Tim Ream, meanwhile, is closing in on a move to join MLS side Charlotte FC, which would leave Issa Diop and Calvin Bassey as the club's only recognised centre-backs.

Fulham are considering their options in defence and are keen on Mengi, 22, who came through Manchester United's academy.

He earned plaudits for his performances for Luton last season but hopes to play Premier League football next term, with Fulham weighing up a bid.

Mengi made 30 top-flight appearances last term, earning his England Under-21s debut in March in a 7-0 win over Luxembourg in Euro 2025 qualifying.

Fulham were interested in moving for Mengi in January but Luton manager Rob Edwards ruled out a mid-season exit for the centre-back.

The defender is also reportedly of interest to Crystal Palace and was watched at Kenilworth Road last season by Bayer Leverkusen's chief UK-based scout, Matthew Green, when the Hatters lost 3-1 to Sheffield United.

While Luton will be keen to keep hold of Mengi as they eye an immediate return to the Premier League, the significance of any potential fee they could receive by selling him will also come into their thinking this summer.

Fulham line up pursuit of Manchester United academy graduate after impressive PL campaign
Fulham are ready to kickstart their summer transfer window by signing a like-for-like replacement of Tosin Adarabioyo.

The centre-half announced his move to Chelsea last Friday after seeing out his contract at Craven Cottage, therefore becoming a free agent upon the culmination of the 2023/2024 campaign. However, he won't officially be Enzo Maresca's player until the end of June.

For a period of time, it looked as though the two clubs most likely to vie for his signature were Manchester United and Newcastle United until the Blues swooped in and pipped their Premier League rivals to the signing. Adarabioyo revealed that he was particularly 'excited' about the move as he was 'born three miles away from Stamford Bridge', where he made his professional debut.

Nevertheless, the Cottagers are now mulling over which proven defender can succeed the Englishman next season and have seemingly landed on Luton Town's Teden Mengi, according to the Evening Standard.

Fulham tried to hash out a deal for the player in January, but Rob Edwards was unwilling to sanction his exit midway through the term. Now that his side has dropped back down to the Championship, Mengi, who is keen on continuing in the top flight, could push for a summer move.

United graduate flourishing after Old Trafford exit
A graduate of Carrington Academy, Mengi's career progression undoubtedly reflects well on United, and it'll fill the youth staff with such pride to see him excelling in first-team football.

Even Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen sent their UK-based scout, Matthew Green, to watch the 22-year-old in action at Kenilworth Road last season, while Crystal Palace are also said to be keeping an eye on his situation.

Aston Villa, Fulham eyeing summer move for Adrien Truffert
Aston Villa and Fulham are reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old French full-back Adrien Truffert from Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais this summer.

According to a report by L'Equipe, as relayed by Sport Witness, Aston Villa and Fulham are keen on signing Adrien Truffert. The 22-year-old full-back is ready to leave Stade Rennais in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 club might demand around €20 million to part ways with him.

Who is Adrien Truffert?
Adrien Truffert has been a pivotal figure for Stade Rennais in the last few years. A native of Liège, Belgium, he began his youth career at ES Jouy Saint-Prest and spent half a decade at FC Chartres before joining Rennes in 2015. The Frenchman subsequently rose through the ranks at the Ligue 1 club before breaking into the first-team squad at Roazhon Park.

The 22-year-old made his first-team bow in September 2020 and had a debut to remember as he provided an assist and scored the match-winning goal against AS Monaco. Meanwhile, Truffert enjoyed a solid 2023/24 campaign, chipping in with two goals and seven assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.

However, the French full-back faces an uncertain future at Stade Rennais heading into the summer transfer window. Truffert is ready to embark on a new adventure, with the latest update capturing the attention of several well-known clubs, including Aston Villa and Fulham.

Premier League move on the horizon?
The report has revealed that Aston Villa attempted to sign Adrien Truffert 18 months ago before a move failed to materialise. The West Midlands club's continued interest in the young full-back is understandable, considering they are eager to sign a left-back. Several candidates, including Andrea Cambiaso, have emerged on Aston Villa's radar, with Truffer also a viable target.

As for Fulham, the Cottagers are in a spot of bother over Antonee Robinson's long-term future amid his links with high-profile clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United. So, the Stade Rennais defender is an option worth considering. Meanwhile, Truffert will not cost a bomb, with the report mentioning a price tag of €20 million.

However, Aston Villa and Fulham face stiff competition from fellow Premier League clubs like Bournemouth and Leicester City. In addition, European bigwigs like AC Milan, AS Monaco, Bayern Munich, Benfica, and Lyon want to secure Adrien Truffert's services. So, it will be interesting to see where the 22-year-old Frenchman plies his trade next season.

Whites want Mengi
Fulham want to sign Luton Town centre back Teden Mengi as one of two new centre halves this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

The Whites are held a longstanding interest in the former Manchester United academy graduate and saw a bid to bring him to Craven Cottage rebuffed by Rob Edwards in January. The 22 year-old centre half impressed despite Luton's relegation to the Championship last season, making 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring a single goal. Mengi made his England under-21 debut as a second half substitute in a 7-0 thrashing of Luxembourg at Bolton in March.

Fulham could face competition from Crystal Palace, who have watched Mengi extensively over the last ten months, as Marco Silva seeks to rebuild his defence following the departure of Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea on a free transfer.

Fulham eyeing Andre Trindade as Joao Pahinha replacement
Fulham and Andre Trindade's representatives have held talks over a possible move as the Cottagers prepare to sell Joao Palhinha.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Andre Trindade is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on signing a midfielder in the summer transfer window amid uncertainties surrounding the future of Joao Palhinha. And they have held talks with the representatives of the 22-year-old Fluminense midfielder.

Who is Andre Trindade?
Andre Trindade has established himself as one of the best midfielders in his homeland since breaking into the first-team squad at Fluminense. A native of Ibirataia, he spent most of his formative years with Fluminense, joining the fabled Brazilian club as a 12-year-old in 2013.

The 22-year-old made his first-team debut for Fluminense midway through the 2020 season. Since then, Andre's stock has soared, with the player turning out 185 times thus far for the club, chipping in with four goals and three assists. He has also broken into the Brazilian national team, making his senior bow last year.

Meanwhile, Andre's progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. High-profile outfits like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City have shown interest in the youngster. In addition, he is a target for Fulham and Liverpool.

A man in demand
Liverpool showed interest in Andre Trindade throughout 2023 without succeeding in the bid to sign him. The links have faded since the turn of the year, with the Merseyside club prioritising bolstering other areas of the first-team squad. That might clear the way for Fulham to sign the Brazilian international.

Fulham mulled over securing Andre's services in the winter transfer window. The continued interest in the 22-year-old is understandable, with Joao Palhinha closing in on joining Bayern Munich. So, the Fluminense midfielder has become a top target for Fulham, with the West London club holding talks with his representatives.

With Andre's agents in contact with Fulham, a belated move to Craven Cottage might be on the cards as we approach the summer transfer window. It will be interesting to see if the Cottagers can conduct smooth negotiations with all parties this time.

Fulham At Euro 2024
The squads for the 2024 European Championships have been confirmed, with four Fulham players involved.

🇧🇪 Timothy Castagne (43 caps, 2 goals)

Now firmly established as Belgium's first choice right-back, Castagne started every one of their eight qualifiers, a campaign which they went through unbeaten with six wins and two draws.

The Red Devils are in the favourable Group E at the Euros, with matches against Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine.

Castagne will wear the 21 shirt for Belgium, the same number he sports for Fulham.

🇷🇸 Saša Lukić (46 caps, 2 goals)

An important member of the Serbia squad, Lukić will hope to surpass the 50 cap mark this summer by helping his side qualify for the knockout stages.

There is a lot of quality in the Serbia group, who will present a stern test for England in Gelsenkirchen on Sunday night.

Fixtures against Slovenia and Denmark then follow for Lukić and co, who are appearing at their first European Championships as Serbia, having last featured in 2000 while still part of Yugoslavia.

Lukić has been handed the number 22 shirt.

🇵🇹 João Palhinha (27 caps, 2 goals)

Portugal had the best qualifying campaign of any side at the Euros, winning all 10 of their matches, while scoring 36 and conceding just two in the process.

Remarkably, Palhinha only made his international debut three years ago, but is now a mainstay in the side, starting six of their qualifiers.

The Portuguese go into the Euros as one of the favourites, but they will first have to navigate an interesting group that features Turkey, Czechia, and tournament debutants Georgia.

Palhinha will wear number 6 for Portugal.

🇸🇰 Marek Rodák (22 caps)

Rodák will be departing Fulham at the end of June, but before then he has his second major tournament with Slovakia to look forward to.

He was on the bench for all three of their Euro 2020 fixtures, but has won 16 more caps since then. Newcastle United's Martin Dúbravka does look set to start between the sticks in Germany, though.

If selected, Rodák will come up against a club teammate from last season in Castagne in Slovakia's group opener, before matches against Ukraine and Romania.

The number 12 will be on the back of Rodák's jersey this summer.

Silas Katompa Mvumpa: Fulham's Next Big Premier League Star?

Fulham's Potential Signing of Silas Katompa Mvumpa: A Game Changer?
Fulham are on the verge of securing the signature of Stuttgart's £15 million-rated forward, Silas Katompa Mvumpa. With the Congolese winger eager to move to the English capital, Marco Silva's side appears well-placed to finalise a long-awaited deal.

Silas, known for his blistering pace and ball-carrying ability, has been a target for Fulham for over a year. The Cottagers previously attempted to bring the forward to West London during the January transfer window. However, their offer, which included a loan with a £13 million purchase clause, was quickly dismissed by Stuttgart.

As Christian Falk from Bild reported, "I was sitting in Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle's office on deadline day when it was reported that Fulham had made an offer for forward Silas. The Stuttgart boss could only laugh and shake his head at this news."

Now, five months later, talks between Fulham and Silas have resumed. With two years left on his contract, Stuttgart are holding out for £15 million. Fulham's financial clout makes them favourites to secure the deal, ahead of Villarreal and RC Lens.

Silas' Impact on Fulham's Squad
Despite not being a regular starter for Stuttgart last season, Silas still managed to contribute significantly. With seven goals and six assists in all competitions, he demonstrated his value as a super-sub under coach Sebastian Hoeness. Silas' potential move to Fulham could add a new dimension to their attack, complementing the existing strengths of Adama Traore. While Traore is known for his speed, Silas offers a more consistent goal threat.

Silas' versatility is another asset. Preferring to play on the right, he could fill the void left by the potential departure of Bobby DeCordova-Reid, who is attracting interest from Everton as his contract nears its end.

Comparisons to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Silas has drawn comparisons to former Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Stuttgart's former director of football, Sven Mislintat, noted the similarities:

"There are some differences between them, of course, but also many, many similar things. (Aubameyang) learned quite a lot also from Jurgen Klopp in working defensively. If (forwards) adopt this and they are able to do this, they will become big, big stars in football with their qualities and mindsets. And this is what Silas did as well.

"Auba is more of a killer but, to be honest, he hadn't (been a) hit at the age of 19 or 20 like Silas. Silas has become better and better and improved quite a lot. He is quieter (than Aubameyang) but very focused. He listens, he learns a lot. He knows exactly what he is. He's aggressive. He is a winner."

What This Means for Fulham
If Fulham successfully sign Silas, it would mark a significant boost to their attacking options. Silas' searing pace, coupled with his knack for solo efforts, could prove invaluable in the Premier League. His presence could also relieve some of the goal-scoring pressure from key players like Aleksandar Mitrović.

Moreover, Silas' acquisition would underline Fulham's ambition to establish themselves as a Premier League mainstay. Marco Silva's tactical acumen, combined with Silas' potential, could see Fulham making significant strides in the coming season.

In conclusion, Fulham's pursuit of Silas Katompa Mvumpa reflects a strategic move to bolster their squad with a player likened to one of the Bundesliga's past stars. The excitement surrounding this potential transfer is palpable, and it could very well be the catalyst Fulham need to achieve their aspirations. Exclusive: Fulham chasing five-cap Brazil international to replace Joao Palhinha with Bayern Munich transfer close
Fulham have renewed their interest in André Trindade as a possible replacement for Joao Palhinha who is expected to join Bayern Munich, TEAMtalk has learned.

With the probable exit of Joao Palhinha – who has already agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich – Fulham are already working to replace the Portuguese midfielder.

Bayern and Fulham are said to be in the advanced stages of talks with the German club just about ready to submit another bid for one of their top targets.

Fulham have told Bayern to double their initial £30m bid if they want to sign the Portuguese star who has no release clause in a contract with the Premier League club that runs until 2028. The Cottagers also rebuffed a bid from English rivals West Ham last summer with that offer said to be somewhere in the region of £45m.

This has left Fulham to begin a search for players with a similar profile to the departing Palhinha.

Among the most appreciated names confirmed to be on Fulham's shortlist is Brazil international Andre Trindade  – whose contract with Fluminense expires in 2026.

Fulham had already made a concrete move both last summer and in January, but the Brazilian club had rejected every attempt – including another bid from Liverpool – despite the player having already agreed personal terms with the Cottagers.

Fulham out to get their man if Bayern come through with the bag
Scouts from Craven Cottage have continued to closely follow the central midfielder in recent months, confirming his name at the top of the list to strengthen the midfield.

TEAMtalk has learned that Fluminense's position now is not as adamant as last year when the Brazilian club did not want to sell its best players in their bid to win the Copa Libertadores.

The club's reluctance to cash in proves wise when Fluminense lifted the first Copa Libertadores title in their history.

But fast forward to the present day and Fluminense are reputedly open to selling him if an appropriate offer arrives.

As for Andre, his will has always remained unchanged and after agreeing personal terms in January, he continues to push for a transfer to the Premier League.

With Palhinha's exit looming large, Fulham intend to increase the pressure on the Brazilian midfielder and try to close the deal quickly.

Considering the player is already on board and Fulham will have the funds to pay the demanded fee, a deal could be concluded soon.

Man United 'held face-to-face talks' with shock manager to replace Erik ten Hag
Manchester United news as more potential new manager candidates emerge in the aftermath of Erik ten Hag staying on

Manchester United spoke to Fulham manager Marco Silva before deciding to stick with Erik ten Hag moving forward, according to reports.

It comes after the club confirmed that Ten Hag would lead United into a third season following an expansive end-of-year review in which a number of candidates were spoken to.

Manchester United spoke to Fulham manager Marco Silva before deciding to stick with Erik ten Hag moving forward, according to reports.

It comes after the club confirmed that Ten Hag would lead United into a third season following an expansive end-of-year review in which a number of candidates were spoken to.

One name that was largely kept out of the public domain though was Silva. After leading Fulham to another mid-table finish - 13th place and 47 points compared to 10th and 52 in his first year back in the Premier League - he reportedly met with United in the week before the FA Cup final.

The Athletic say that just two days before the final, around the time Ten Hag had his pre-match press conference confirming plans to stay for the 2024/25 season despite some suggestions a decision to sack him had already been made, United met face-to-face with Silva.

Silva was also a name linked as an outsider for the vacant Chelsea job at the time. United were also discussing De Zerbi that week whilst Tuchel and Pochettino were spoken to as well during the same period. It is also said that Ruben Amorim - a name spoken about in connection with Liverpool, West Ham, and Chelsea - was also discussed, as was Roberto Martinez.

United opted to stick with Ten Hag though, and he is now in a position to sign a possible contract extension as well. Winning the FA Cup, as well as the achievement of trophies in each of his first two years in charge, has been recognised by Ineos and the think-tank under Sir Jim Ratcliffe as reasons for Ten Hag to be backed.

United are also impressed with Ten Hag's work with young players and noted the mitigation that led to the struggles through 2023/24.

Fulham could contact Tottenham to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg amid Joao Palhinha update
John Wenham believes Fulham could make a move for Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose feels that the 28-year-old could be a target for Marco Silva's side as a result of Bayern Munich's interest in Joao Palhina.

Fabrizio Romano reported via X (12 June) that Bayern are set to send an improved bid to Fulham for Palhina, with the player keen on the switch.

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – claims the Cottagers could look toward North London for a replacement.

"Fulham wanted to sign Hojbjerg last summer when Palhina looked as if he was going to join Bayern Munich," he said.

"When that deal fell through, suddenly they weren't in for Hojbjerg anymore.

"It looks now as though Palhina will join Bayern, so I wouldn't be surprised if Fulham's interest in Hojbjerg resurfaced.

"For him, it would be a good move as it would allow him to stay in London, so that is one to watch."

Ange Postecoglou will be keen to sell Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
If anything, this would be good news for Tottenham.

The club are unlikely to stand in the way of Hojbjerg if he does choose to leave, and Fulham would be a good destination for the midfielder.

As a Premier League side, the Cottagers are more likely to pay big money than teams in Europe.

This could therefore be a transfer which suits all parties involved.

Joao Palhinha: Fulham reject improved Bayern Munich bid for Portugal midfielder
Fulham reject improved Bayern Munich offer for Joao Palhinha; deal worth the second-most for a defensive midfielder aged 28 or over; Palhinha has four years left on his Fulham contract, which has no release clause; Barcelona and Manchester United are also interested in the 28-year-old

Fulham have rejected an improved bid from Bayern Munich for Joao Palhinha.
Bayern remain interested in the 28-year-old, whom they have been pursuing since last summer.

The potential total value of the proposal, including bonuses, is understood to have been worth the second-most for a defensive midfielder aged 28 or over.

The current second-highest fee in this bracket is the £40m Al-Ittihad paid for Fabinho to Liverpool last year.

Palhinha has four years left on his Fulham contract, which has no release clause plus an option of a further year, and he is currently with the Portugal national team for the Euros.

New Bayern boss Vincent Kompany is eager to bring the Portugal international to the Bundesliga with backing from sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund.

But Barcelona and Manchester United are also interested in the ex-Sporting player, although it is unlikely the Spanish side would be able to afford him.

Palhinha almost moved to Bayern on Deadline Day last summer after the Cottagers gave him permission to fly to Munich. However, Marco Silva's side were unable to find a replacement so Palhinha returned to the club and subsequently signed a new deal.

Fulham also turned down a £45m bid from West Ham last July.

When does the summer transfer window open and close?
The 2024 summer transfer window in the Premier League officially opens on Friday June 14 - the same day that Euro 2024 starts.

The window will close on August 30 at 11pm UK time in England and at midnight in Scotland.

The Premier League has brought forward Deadline Day to link up with the other major leagues in Europe. The closing dates were set following discussions with the leagues in England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France.

Update: Bayern Munich's improved offer to Fulham for João Palhinha has been rejected
How high will Bayern Munich go?

Update — June 12th, 2:55PM EDT: The improved bid has been rejected
According to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich's "improved" bid has been rejected by Fulham FC:

Fulham have rejected an improved bid from Bayern Munich for João Palhinha. The potential total value of the proposal, including bonuses, is understood to have been worth the second-most for a defensive midfielder over the age of 28. The current second-highest fee in this bracket is the £40m (€47m) Al Ittihad paid for Fabinho to Liverpool last year.

According to a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich will raise its proposal to Fulham FC for midfielder João Palhinha.

Palhinha, a longtime transfer target of the Bavarians, is now firmly back on the club's radar, but there still seems to be a big discrepancy in what Bayern Munich wants to pay for the midfielder vs. what Fulham wants in return.

There are rumors that the English club wants as much as €70 million for Palhinha, while other stories indicate an agreement could potentially be reached for a sum of €45 million:

Fulham ace to choose Spurs over Chelsea for more playtime
London clubs including Tottenham Hotspur are in the race for Brazilian striker Rodrigo Muniz

Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz is more interested in joining Tottenham Hotspur than rival club Chelsea. Ange Postecoglou may consider the Brazilian striker's deal while another Brazilian, Richarlison, leaves the club in the summer, per Tottenham Hotspur News.

The 23-year-old striker joined the English club in 2021, on a five-year contract. Muniz had an impressive last campaign with the Cottagers, where he netted ten goals and an assist in 33 games across all competitions. The netting capability of the youngster have been noticed by several clubs within and outside the league.

When the transfer market is set to open in the coming days, the Brazilian striker has already been approached by the London clubs. Both Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are set to bid for the Cottagers striker. Spurs have approached multiple strikers across different clubs after the season's end. Ange Postecoglou is needed as an out-and-out striker for the club, and a manager who is keenly interested in youngsters has increased the chance of Muniz to N17.

The Blues from London also approached the striker, Chelsea, who is heading for their upcoming campaign under new manager Enzo Maresca has many plans to work in the summer transfer. With his arrival, we can see some major changes at Stamford Bridge.

As the two London clubs have approached the player, Muniz may choose Spurs as his favourite over the Blues. The lack of a proper striker in the squad may give the Brazilian more playing time than Chelsea. Also, the player has no idea about the intentions of Chelsea's gaffer Maresca. By joining the Spurs, the Brazilian can also get featured in the Europa League, where he can compete with different European clubs.

Silva 'held talks with Manchester United'
Fulham head coach Marco Silva held 'face-to-face talks' with Manchester United about replacing Eric ten Haag at Old Trafford, according to the Athletic.

The Portuguese boss, who guided the Whites to successive mid-table finishes after winning the Championship in his first campaign at Craven Cottage, met with United chiefs two days before the FA Cup final last month. He steered the Londoners to a late victory at Old Trafford in the Premier League back in February. Silva, who was also on Chelsea's longlist to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge, turned down two approaches from Saudi Pro League sides last summer and signed a contract extension with Fulham last October.

United announced last night that ten Haag would remain in charge after an internal review into first-team performance following frenzied speculation as to the former Ajax coach's future.

Fulham reject second Bayern bid for Palhinha
Fulham have turned down a second bid from Bayern Munich for midfielder Joao Palhinha.

Various reports claim that the German giants offered £40m – including add-ons – for the 28 year-old defensive midfielder, which remains significantly short of Fulham's £60m valuation. The former Sporting Lisbon schemer, who has topped the Premier League tackling table in the two seasons he has spent at Craven Cottage, was close to joining Bayern last September only for the deal to collapse on transfer deadline day.

New Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany has apparently made Palhinha his top transfer target this summer but Fulham will not let one of Marco Silva's key players leave for below their asking price. The Londoners believe they are in a strong position as Palhinha, who enjoys a strong relationship with the man who brought him through the Sporting youth set-up, signed a new four-year contract last autumn.

Report: Fulham Eyeing Move for Arsenal's Forgotten Defender

Fulham Eyes Arsenal's Kieran Tierney Amidst Premier League Rival Interest
Fulham Football Club is reportedly setting its sights on Arsenal's Kieran Tierney as a strategic addition to their squad, according to Football Transfers. With anticipated changes in their lineup, the London club sees Tierney as a potential key player for the coming seasons.

Shifting Dynamics at Fulham
As Fulham prepares for the possible departure of Antonee Robinson, they are actively seeking replacements, and Tierney emerges as a top candidate. "Fulham are ready to move for Arsenal's Kieran Tierney as they brace themselves for losing USMNT star Antonee Robinson this summer," sources claim. The departure of Robinson, who played a pivotal role last season with his consistent performances and six assists, could leave a significant gap in the team's defensive structure.

Tierney's Journey and Potential Impact
Kieran Tierney, currently on duty with Scotland at Euro 2024, has had a notable career trajectory. Initially scouted by Fulham when he was at Celtic, his journey took him to Arsenal, where he has since made 124 appearances. Despite falling out of favour and spending a season on loan at Real Sociedad, Tierney's versatility and experience in multiple defensive roles make him an attractive prospect for Fulham's future plans.

Financial Aspects and Transfer Feasibility
Arsenal's valuation of Tierney stands at around £15 million, a figure within reach for Fulham, especially considering the defender's proven capabilities and versatility. "He remains under contract with Arsenal until 2026 and the Gunners are said to be looking for around €17.8 million (£15m) for the versatile defender," highlights the financial deliberations behind such a transfer.

Long-Term Implications for Fulham
Securing Tierney could be seen as a strategic move by Fulham, not only as a direct replacement for Robinson but also as an investment in bolstering their defensive lineup with a seasoned Premier League player. His addition would bring depth and experience to the squad, potentially enhancing their competitiveness in the league.

In conclusion, Fulham's interest in Kieran Tierney reflects a broader strategy to strengthen their team in anticipation of key departures. As the summer transfer window progresses, it will be interesting to see how this potential move unfolds and how it might influence Fulham's performance in the upcoming Premier League season.

Fulham's Defensive Shake-Up: Luton Defender in the Spotlight

Fulham Eye Teden Mengi Amidst Defensive Reinforcement Plans
Interest in Luton Town's Mengi

Fulham are casting a keen eye on Luton Town's standout defender, Teden Mengi, with plans to bolster their defensive line significantly this summer. Manager Marco Silva has emphasised the critical need for reinforcements in the centre-back position following recent developments.

Strengthening Central Defence
The urgency to enhance Fulham's central defence became evident last week with the confirmed departure of Tosin Adarabioyo. The 26-year-old defender has exited on a free transfer to rivals Chelsea, leaving a considerable gap in Fulham's backline. Additionally, Tim Ream is on the brink of a move to MLS side Charlotte FC. This potential transfer would further deplete Fulham's options, leaving Issa Diop and Calvin Bassey as the only recognised centre-backs within the squad.

Fulham's Defensive Options and Mengi's Premier League Ambitions
In light of these exits, Fulham are actively exploring their defensive options and have zeroed in on Mengi, who is eager to showcase his talents in the Premier League. The 22-year-old, a product of Manchester United's esteemed academy, impressed with Luton Town last season. His performance not only garnered plaudits but also earned him a debut for England Under-21s in a dominant 7-0 victory over Luxembourg during Euro 2025 qualifying.

Fulham had previously expressed interest in Mengi during the January transfer window. However, Luton's manager, Rob Edwards, was adamant about retaining his star defender mid-season. With the summer window now open, Fulham are reconsidering their position and weighing up a bid to bring Mengi to Craven Cottage.

Competition for Mengi's Signature
Fulham are not alone in their pursuit of Mengi. The defender has also caught the eye of Crystal Palace, and Bayer Leverkusen. This heightened interest underscores Mengi's growing reputation and the potential impact he could have in the Premier League.

For Luton Town, the prospect of retaining Mengi is appealing as they aim for a swift return to the Premier League. However, the financial implications of a substantial transfer fee might influence their decision. Balancing the immediate benefits of retaining a key player against the long-term financial gain of a potential sale will be crucial for the Hatters this summer.

Fulham reject £38m offer for one of Marco Silva's most important players
Fulham have rejected a second offer from Bayern Munich for midfielder Joao Palhinha, according to reports.

Palhinha has become a key player under Marco Silva since arriving from Sporting CP in the summer of 2022.

Just last season, the battling midfielder — who is part of the Portugal side heading to Euro 2024 this month and has 27 caps to his name so far — ranked first among Fulham players in the Premier League for tackles (152), possessions won in the middle third (95) and headed goals (2).

Palhinha's aggressive nature can sometimes leave him walking a tightrope, but he was remarkably able to avoid a red card throughout the entire campaign despite picking up a league-high 13 yellow cards.

Bayern Munich pushed to sign Palhinha last summer but were ultimately unsuccessful. However, according to a report from talkSPORT, the Bavarians have returned to the table. Having already had a £30m offer turned down earlier this week, it's understood Bayern have now been knocked back at the £38m mark as well.

Fulham to remain realistic with Palhinha
Palhinha's contract at Craven Cottage runs until the summer of 2028, while Fulham hold the option to extend it by another year, so there's no rush for the London club to sell on the cheap.

That said, Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan told talkSPORT in February that they would consider offers for Palhinha that they deemed sensible.

"He's a great player for Fulham, we love having him and I want Joao to stay with us as long as possible," said Khan, adding: "But it's part of the business any time you sign a player potentially you know you're hopefully going to grow their value and that might mean people are going to come in."

With Bayern rebuilding under new manager Vincent Kompany following a disappointing third-place finish and trophyless season in 2023/24, it's unlikely this transfer saga has reached its conclusion yet.

Looking as if we could see a new team at the Cottage next season.
There has now been media speculation about the following players leaving :-

                                        Leno
                      Tete    Tosin          ---    Robinson

                                 -------         Palhina

                                     Periera
                        Iwobi     Muniz         Willian

If all of the rumours materialise we could start the preseason with only Bassy and Lukic from last season's first choice line up. No doubt the rumour mill will hit on those two before the window closes.
