We create a whole load of low xG chances.

Leicester score against the run of play in the 2nd half.

Hold firm to keep their 2nd clean sheet of the season

What can I say, I'm a masochist.

Pretty poor half of football there.  Not really looked like scoring aside from the traditional Iwobi cross-cum-shot

I like the players we have out but we are playing them in the wrong position. Iwboi is much better on the right, Wilson needs to be central and I still don't think ESR is strong enough (yet) to play centrally so I would play him on the left which is actually where he played the majority of his games for Arsenal
Title: Re: Leicester (A) 18/01

Okay half, but we need to be even better. Leicester seems like a poor team, but they are definitely well up for it today.

No changes for me at half time, we should just try and play a bit faster. Adama, Muniz,Andreas and TC to come on at some point in the second half.

I'm not sure how Wilson escapes so much criticism on here compared to some players, he's anonymous when he starts games and we always go down the left because we just offer no threat on the right wing since Iwobi has been playing on the left. Can't wait for Nelson to be fit again so we can attack down both wings

Too slow & no ambition.

Really poor & disappointing.

Title: Re: Leicester (A) 18/01
Post by: jayffc on January 18, 2025, 03:53:47 PM
We are way way way to unbalanced, not for the first time we are loading EVERY attack down the left, it's way to predictable. ESR has had a decent game but he's literally never popped up on the right which seems to be better and instruction from Marco. Wilson drifts central and because Robinson is up high castagne therefore never pushes up the right to support and so it's all very obvious in the end.

Iwobi having a poor game so far but showing willing. Not playing awfully , controlling things but at walking pace.

Game for Adama to bring something different on the right I feel, we need threat out there to create more space across the attack

Why do you have such a hard on for slagging off ESR? Every week ya can't wait to pile on, he's played better today and been involved in some nice build up, certainly no worse than Iwobi today. You and all these "new marlet" comments after half a season and playing back from fitness issue are the bore here

And again....27m + add-ons he only hits on player and performance based add-ons ,stop misrepresenting it every week
