Fulham ready to table 'interesting offer – Marco Silva's side want player in London
Three days ago, L'Equipe reported Fulham are considering formulating an offer to sign Atalanta's El Bilal Touré on a loan deal with a purchase option.
The Premier League side's desire to sign the striker is backed up by Il Giorno, who have also provided La Dea's stance on him.
El Bilal Touré has received sirens from England, where Fulham want to secure his services in the summer window.
It's further claimed Marco Silva's side are 'ready to present an interesting offer' to bring the 22-year-old to London.
Il Giorno make no mention of the fee or formula Fulham are willing to offer, and there's an insistence the Italian side don't want to sell.
Atalanta invested €28m to sign the Mali international from UD Almería in July 2023.
He finished his debut season in Italy with three goals and an assist from 17 matches. The frontman's playing time was restricted since he was sidelined with a hamstring injury between last August and January.
El Bilal Touré was able to showcase his qualities towards the end of last season. He's already settled in well in Italy and Gian Piero Gasperini could get the best out of him if he can start fresh from pre-season.
These factors would make it difficult for Fulham to sign the player this summer.

Copa América: Winning Start For USMNT(https://images.webapi.fulhamfc.com/fit-in/1600x1600/896a0ec0-3201-11ef-9b46-075ab2b35b25.jpg)
The United States Men's National Team got their Copa América campaign off and running with a 2-0 win over Bolivia in Texas on Sunday night.
Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson both played the full 90, with the latter playing a big hand in the opening goal inside three minutes.
After Jedi won a big tackle on the halfway line, Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun countered down the left, and Balogun ended up winning a corner. That set-piece was played short to Pulisic, who angled a beautiful strike into the postage stamp.
The States had far the better of the first half, and got a deserved second soon before half-time.
This time it was Ream who won possession at the start of the move, with his side then moving swiftly up the pitch until Balogun stroked an accurate strike into the bottom corner on his left foot.
The second half followed a similar pattern, and after Balogun had a goal chalked off for offside, his replacement Ricardo Pepi should have converted a pristine Robinson cross.
Jedi continued to create, controlling a high ball impeccably on the byline and beating his man before cutting back to Timothy Weah, who fired over.
In truth, 2-0 probably flattered Bolivia, with Pepi squandering another Robinson set-up in the 90th minute, this time putting his first time shot straight at the goalkeeper.
The States are next in action against Panama on Thursday in Atlanta.

Crystal Palace and Fulham defenders help USA to Copa America opening win
The United States opened group stage play in winning fashion on Sunday at the 2024 Copa America and a trio of English Premier League defenders anchored Gregg Berhalter's backline.
Crystal Palace's Chris Richards, and Fulham's Antonee Robinson and Tim Ream all played 90 minutes as the Americans defeated Bolivia 2-0 in Group C action. The trio all featured in the USMNT's pre-Copa America friendlies earlier this month and remained in the starting lineup on Sunday.
Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun both scored goals in the first half, setting the tone early for the Americans. Pulisic scored three minutes into the match off of a confident right-footed curling effort before Balogun's clinical left-footed drive ensured the win.
Robinson, 26, was dominant on both ends of the field, winning eight duels, creating five offensive chances, and making four interceptions. The Fulham left-back is coming off a stellar league campaign for the Cottagers, where he was named Fulham's Player of the Year.
The 36-year-old Ream completed 83 per cent of his passes, won three duels, and made six defensive recoveries. Despite being reportedly linked to a move to MLS side Charlotte FC, Ream is under contract with Fulham for the 2024-25 Premier League season.
Richards, 24, made two clearances, won two duels, and completed 88 per cent of his passes in the match. The Alabama native is coming off a career-best year for Crystal Palace, helping the Eagles register their best league – 10th – finish since 2015.
The United States will aim to make it 2-0 at the Copa America when they face Panama on Thursday, June 27 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bayern Munich: Three alternatives for Joao Palhinha
Three potential alternatives for Bayern Munich in the holding midfield position if they fail to reach an agreement with Fulham for Joao Palhinha.
Bayern Munich have been trying to strengthen the defensive midfield position for two summers in a row. Thomas Tuchel believed a new defensive midfielder was needed to improve the balance of the team. He publicly urged Bayern to sign a new defensive midfielder last summer.
The Bavarian club tried to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham on the deadline day. Despite agreeing a fee worth €65 million, the move fell through at the last minute. Bayern have revived interest in Palhinha this summer.
Rekordmeister had two bids rejected for Palhinha this summer. The Bavarian club is planning one last bid worth €46 million for the Portuguese international. Bayern have no intention to pay more. Palhinha is eager to finally complete a move, but his hands are tied until the two clubs find an agreement over the transfer fee. In the event of a move for Palhinha not going through, let us look at possible alternatives for Bayern in the defensive midfield position.

Serbia snatch dramatic draw
Sasa Lukic's Serbia grabbed a dramatic draw against Slovenia to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout phase of Euro 2024 alive this afternoon.
The Serbians, who were beaten by England in their opening game of the tournament on Sunday night, looked to be heading out when Zan Karnicnik fired home from close range shortly after Lukic had been substituted. They piled late pressure on the Slovenian goal and got a lifeline in the fifth minute of injury time when substitute Luka Jokic nodded in an equaliser from a corner.
Serbia face Denmark in their final group game on Tuesday night – probably needing a win to make the last sixteen.

De Cordova-Reid captains Jamaica in Copa America defeat
Fulham winger Bobby De Cordova-Reid captained Jamaica in their Copa America opener overnight but the Reggae Boyz slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Mexico in Texico.
The 31 year-old almost provided a dream start when Shamar Nicholson headed his excellent free-kick wide and the Jamaicans were eventually beaten by the only goal of the game – which came from full back Gerardo Arteaga in the second half.
De Cordova-Reid was replaced with ten minutes to play. Jamaica's second group game is against Ecuador on Wednesday.

Ream and Robinson get USA off to winning start
Fulham duo Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson played the full game as the United States got their Copa America campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory over Bolivia overnight.
Robinson won a tackle in the middle of the park that led to the USA getting the opening goal as Christian Pulisic curled in a superb strike from a short corner. Ream then began the move that led to the second goal before half time with Folarin Balogun firing in a fine left-footed effort.
The Americans face Panama in their second group game on Thursday in Atlanta.

Fulham exclusive: Former Arsenal man firmly on Marco Silva radar as Prem return takes shape
Fulham are eyeing a move to bring former Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles back to the Premier League, TEAMtalk can reveal.
Maitland-Niles left Arsenal last summer upon the expiry of his contract to join French giants Lyon on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old impressed in his debut season with Lyon, making 29 appearances in all competitions and contributing two goals and four assists.
Maitland-Niles performed in a variety of roles for Lyon with the utility player starring at right-back and also across the whole of midfield.
Fulham boss Marco Silva is keen to strengthen his squad ahead of next season and he sees Maitland-Niles' versatility as addition to his plans.
Maitland-Niles considering London return
Maitland-Niles, who has won five caps for England, could be interested in a move back to the Premier League and a return to his native London with Fulham.
Fulham are planning big changes to their squad in this summer's transfer window as they look to build on their 13th-place finish in the Premier League last season.
The Cottagers will return to pre-season training in July and will kick-off the 2024/25 Premier League campaign with a trip to Manchester United on Friday August 16.

'Advancing fast' - Man Utd set for head-turning appointment ahead of Fulham season opener
The Manchester United and Premier League legend could be on the Red Devils' bench for the visit of Fulham.
Fulham face Manchester United on the opening weekend of the Premier League season and the visitors could kick off the campaign with a very famous face newly appointed among their coaching ranks.
Premier League legend Ruud van Nistelrooy is reportedly in talks with his former club over a job among Erik ten Hag's staff for the season ahead. The Netherlands hero is also a candidate for the vacant Burnley managerial role following Vincent Kompany's appointment at Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The 47-year-old most recently managed PSV Eindhoven in his home country.
Van Nistelrooy took over at PSV in March 2022 and went on to win the Johan Cruyff Shield and KNVB Cup the following season before resigning due to an apparent lack of support from the club. He had previously been in charge of the PSV reserve team and has also worked as an assistant with the Netherlands national side.
Fulham travel to Manchester United on Friday, August 16 in the first match of the Premier League season. The action at Old Trafford kicks off at 8 pm and while the focus will be on the pitch, Van Nistelrooy's appointment would certainly turn heads off it.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: " Ruud van Nistelrooy has been approached to be part of Erik ten Hag's new staff at Manchester United. Up to van Nistelrooy as he's also a strong candidate to be new Burnley manager to replace Kompany, decision next week. Changes could take place in #MUFC staff."
Romano has since added that a deal between Van Nistelrooy and the Red Devils is 'advancing fast' ahead of the Premier League's return.
The Cottagers beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in February with a 97th-minute Alex Iwobi goal winning the game 2-1 for Fulham. Erik ten Hag's side had won the reverse fixture earlier in the season with a 1-0 win at Craven Cottage - Bruno Fernandes netting an injury time winner in that fixture.

Andreas Pereira transfer claim emerges as Fulham 'star' is linked with Tottenham switch
John Wenham does not want Tottenham to sign Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose doesn't believe the Brazillian is good enough.
As reported by Globo Esporte (5 June), Spurs, Aston Villa and Newcastle United have all expressed an interest in signing the 28-year-old.
But Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – doesn't want Ange Postecoglou's side to follow up on their interest.
"He is one of the star players at Fulham, that is for sure," Wenham said.
"But for Tottenham, I think he would just be an average player, and for that reason, I don't want the club to sign him.
"I could think of three or four players I would rather sign from Fulham alone."
Would Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira improve Tottenham?
Pereira performed well for Fulham during the 2023/24 campaign.
He was one of the club's standout players, but it is difficult to say that he did enough to warrant a move to a top-six Premier League team.
He scored three goals and provided seven assists and if he was being signed as a squad player, then perhaps it would make sense.
But this is unlikely to be a signing which would get supporters off their feet in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In addition, Pereira is already 28 and doesn't have much room left to develop under Postecoglou.
If he were to be signed, fans would expect one or two big-name players to go along with him.

Burnley Aware Fulham Have Edge In Race To Sign Winger
Burnley are aware that they are trailing behind Fulham in their pursuit of winger Jacob Bruun Larsen this summer, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Burnley signed the winger from Hoffenheim last summer on a season-long loan deal and he made 32 Premier League appearances in the previous campaign.
Bruun Larsen impressed despite Burnley getting relegated from the top flight and the club have been keen to re-sign him in the ongoing transfer window.
However, Burnley are facing Premier League competition from Fulham in the race to land the Denmark winger.
It has been claimed that Burnley are aware of the fact that they are not the favourites to sign Bruun Larsen in the ongoing window.
They acknowledge that Fulham have their noses ahead in the chase to land him this summer.
Fulham are offering Bruun Larsen Premier League football while Burnley will be in another fight to get back to the Premier League next season.
Burnley are also still to bring in a new manager to replace Vincent Kompany who joined Bayern Munich in the summer.
