Palhinha: 'Both clubs know where I want to be'
Joao Palhinha has said 'both clubs know where I want to be next month' as his Bayern Munich transfer saga drags on.
The Fulham midfielder, currently representing Portugal at the European Championships, saw a move to the German giants collapse last September and Bayern have had three bids rejected for the 28 year-old so far during the close season. Reports in the German price suggested that Bayern were preparing a 'final offer' of £38m, which remains well short of Fulham's £60m valuation.
Speaking ahead of Portugal's second round tie with Slovenia, Palhinha told a press conference:
"As far as my future is concerned, both clubs know where I want to be in a month."

Andreas Pereira to fill Tottenham void with summer transfer as Fulham exit mooted
Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira could fill a "void" in Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham squad in the summer transfer window, according to Alan Hutton.
The Spurs boss is eager to add to his options in the summer transfer window and while he is primarily expected to make additions in the attacking areas, the Lilywhites have also been linked with a host of midfielders.
Brazilian international Pereira has been one star touted to make the summer switch to North London, with reports suggesting Spurs, Aston Villa and Newcastle are all interested in the 28-year-old [Globo Esporte, 5 June].
Although Hutton believes the midfielder would likely have to play second fiddle to James Maddison under Postecoglou, he admits he could give the Australian a different option at the top end of the pitch.
"I think Periera is a very good footballer," Hutton exclusively told Tottenham News.
"He had a really good season and him coming in would give you something a little bit different within there.
"You'd think there would be movement with the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, could he be leaving? Pape Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, it was all kind of changing towards the end of the season so maybe he's just searching for something different.
"Maybe he could be that guy and he would be another experienced footballer coming into the ranks. I just feel that it is probably for further forward the pitch.
"I know they've got options but you saw when Maddison was out they struggled to get somebody to fill that void and of course, the other one will be the number nine situation and what they're going to do with that."
Will Andreas Pereira exit Fulham for Tottenham in summer transfer window?
A Hutton suggested, Spurs need more depth in midfield so that they don't become overly reliant on Maddison, especially when the England international has had spells out of the side through bad form and injury.
Most fans would much rather see the Lilywhites push for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze this summer, but Pereira may be a slightly cheaper option and the Brazilian did have an excellent season for Fulham last time out.
If a deal could be struck for the right price and the 28-year-old was willing to make the move across London, he could be a smart addition, but he cannot be Tottenham's only marquee signing of the window.
Hopefully, once the Euros and Copa America come to an end, we will see more action in the transfer market from Spurs as their summer window is yet to really get going so far.

Slovakia and ex-Fulham stopper Marek Rodak has a real keeper in stunning girlfriend Noemi Kovacsova.
Rodak, 27, is a familiar name to most English football fans thanks to his 10-year tenure at Fulham, alongside stints at the likes of Accrington Stanley and Rotherham United.
He's played 102 games for the West London club but departed the Cottagers at the end of this past season where he made just five appearances with none coming in the Premier League.
Despite his lack of minutes in the English top-flight last season, the 6'4 stopper still made Slovakia's squad for Euro 2024 where he is second choice behind Newcastle star Martin Dubravka.
The free agent might be resigned to second-choice status at international level, but he's certainly the number one for the gorgeous Slovakian model Noemi Kovacsova, who won the Slovakian Miss Beauty summer competition when she was just 16.
She and Rodak are thought to have started their relationship in 2020, and the blonde bombshell reportedly now splits her time between London and Slovakia. Kovacsova isn't just a beauty, she has brains too and studied at the Pavla Jozefa Safarika University in Kosice
The WAG's Instagram is filled with snaps of her enjoying life with Rodak and modelling clothes while out and about. It was several years ago when Rodak revealed how Kovacsova had been a rock for him during Fulham's promotion-winning season from the Championship.
Speaking to Slovakian website Sport24, he said: "Yes, my girlfriend is definitely one of the people who stood by me and helped me a lot mentally during the season". He also touched on a holiday they spent together with friends in Croatia, adding: "We decided to go on holiday to Croatia.
"We walk around the islands on a boat. We enjoy free time with my girlfriend and my childhood friends, with whom I started playing football." Rodak will be hoping that he can help Slovakia make it through to the quarter-finals at the Euros, even if he has to be content with a place on the bench.

Brazil star urged to make 'bigger' Newcastle United step and Bruno link-up
Former Arsenal and Brazil midfielder Gilberton Silva feels United could be the ideal destination for former Manchester United star Andreas Pereira
Brazilian midfield star Andreas Pereira is ready to take the 'bigger step' in his career and join international team-mates Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton at Newcastle United.
The Fulham star has been linked with a move to Tyneside, with Tottenham also thought to be keen. However, Spurs are closing in on a £35m move for Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray, while Newcastle are selling Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forest meet PSR regulations.
Peraira is currently on internationla duty for his country in the Copa America, alongside Bruno, and former Arsenal and Brazil midfielder Gilberto Silva has backed the 28-year-old to make the step up to the Magpies should Eddie Howe and Co decide to make a move. Belgium-born Peraira spent his formative years with Manchester United and made 75 appearances during his spell at Old Trafford which was punctuated with a series of loan moves.
He has now established himself as a formidable Premier League player at Fulham, and his form and prompted interest in his future this summer, with Newcastle and Spurs linked. A move to United would see him link up with fellow counrtymen Bruno and Joelinton, and Gilberton Silva has backed him to succeed should any deal materialise.
"Moving to Newcastle would be good for Andreas Pereira if he can play regularly, if he doesn't get that then it will be tricky," Gilberto Silva said in an exclusive interview courtesy of Bet365's Copa America coverage. "We have seen with some players, sometimes they move to clubs and things don't work out. He was at Manchester United before, things didn't work very well for him, but he was younger then.
"He went to Brazil, was better, came back to Europe to Fulham and you can see he's more mature now. Mature enough to handle those kinds of situations, those kinds of changes in his professional life and personal life, just to not let this change affect his game.
"He is now expecting a bigger step for him, which is quite normal. I think he did his best for Fulham. If he does move to Newcastle and play with Bruno, it would be a Brazilian midfield for Newcastle, which would be great to see. Bruno has done a great job for Newcastle. People love him, the club and the fans. Let's see what's going to happen."
