Report: Man Utd Reject Bid from Premier League Side For Midfielder
Manchester United Reject Fulham's Bid for Scott McTominay: What's Next?

Manchester United have rejected a bid from Fulham for Scott McTominay, talkSPORT understands. The midfielder, a product of United's esteemed academy, has been a regular feature in the first team, making 252 appearances across all competitions, scoring 29 goals and providing eight assists.

Fulham's Ambitious Move
Fulham, in their quest to bolster their midfield, have shown keen interest in McTominay. This interest comes on the back of Joao Palhinha's move to Bayern Munich, leaving a significant gap in their midfield. However, their initial bid was below the £30 million proposal West Ham made last summer, which United also rejected. It appears Fulham will need to significantly up their offer to tempt United into selling McTominay.

United's Stance on McTominay
Manchester United's refusal to part with McTominay for Fulham's initial offer indicates they value the 27-year-old midfielder highly, despite his reduced role last season. McTominay started only 18 Premier League games last term but played a crucial part in United's FA Cup-winning campaign, including the final against Manchester City. With just one year left on his contract, United might be looking to cash in on him, but only at the right price.

talkSPORT reported that "United would be prepared to sell the 27-year-old, who has entered the final year of his deal at the club, for the right price." This clearly puts the onus on Fulham to come back with a more lucrative offer if they are serious about acquiring McTominay's services.

Potential Suitors and Transfer Market Dynamics
McTominay is not only on Fulham's radar. Galatasaray have also shown interest, with their vice-chairman Ibrahim Hatipoglu stating: "McTominay's transfer fee is being discussed." This international interest might drive up his market value, making it an intriguing situation to watch as the summer transfer window progresses.

United's Transfer Activities
While managing outgoing transfers, Manchester United have been active in the market to strengthen their squad. The recent acquisition of Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and the impending signing of centre-back Leny Yoro from Lille, after a £52 million bid was accepted, show United's intent to build a robust team for the upcoming season. Additionally, West Ham's advanced talks with United for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka highlight the dynamic nature of United's transfer dealings this summer.

Erik ten Hag's Vision
As Erik ten Hag prepares for his third season at the helm, despite rumours about his future, his contract extension until 2026 signifies the club's faith in his long-term vision. This stability might be a crucial factor in how United manage their player transactions, ensuring that any departures, like potentially McTominay's, are offset by strategic acquisitions that fit Ten Hag's tactical blueprint.

Fulham "weighing up" second bid to sign £60,000-p/w Palhinha replacement
It's been a silent transfer window so far for Fulham on the incomings front, but after losing Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich, they could finally act to welcome a replacement.

Fulham transfer news
Now under a month until their Premier League campaign kicks off against Manchester United at Old Trafford, Fulham remain without reinforcements and have a gaping hole to fill at the heart of Marco Silva's side following Palhinha's exit. With a reported £42m added to their summer budget following the midfielder's departure, however, those at Craven Cottage may finally look to splash the cash.

Replacing the Portugal international will be no easy task, but it is one that Fulham must complete this summer if they want to enjoy another campaign away from the bottom three and far closer to the Premier League's top half.

In pursuit of completing that very task, the London club have seemingly turned to a player who knows all about Premier League midfields, even after seeing their first bid reportedly worth £17m rejected.

According to Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports, Fulham are now "weighing up" a second bid to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United in a deal that would instantly hand Silva a replacement for Palhinha. Earning a reported £60k-a-week, McTominay has become an underrated cog in Erik ten Hag's side in the last season or so, often popping up with crucial goals at desperate times. Despite that, he could yet be on the move this summer.

After reportedly rejecting their £17m bid, however, it remains to be seen just how much Manchester United will demand for Fulham to land their academy graduate this summer.

"Great" McTominay can replace Palhinha and more
As much as Palhinha often stood out for his work off the ball in the Premier League, question marks could be asked for his influence when in possession - the same questions that McTominay can answer with aplomb. The Scotland international has become quite the goalscoring threat from the middle of the park, whilst maintaining the traits of a box-to-box midfielder away from the action.

Premier League stats 23/24 (via FBref)             Scott McTominay     Joao Palhinha
Progressive Passes             64     97
Progressive Carries             29     8
Goals             7     4
Ball Recoveries              91     195

McTominay's ball-carrying ability stands out as a particular trait that Fulham could add to their midfield by signing the Manchester United man, alongside his clear appetite for goals.

Ten Hag may not be too keen to lose McTominay this summer, however, after saying via TNT Sports last season: "Scott, he's great. He can score many goals, he's always coming in positions to score goals. We had some problems, it was too much like a tennis match. Every game we went for goal instead of waiting for the right decisions. With McTominay, he can get in the box and could score goals."

Free agent to join League One side after Fulham exit
Wigan Athletic are poised to sign Tyrese Francois following his exit from Fulham, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano on X.

Wigan Athletic are set to snap up the midfielder on a free transfer as they prepare for another year in League One under Shaun Maloney. They finished 12th in the table last season and were 14 points off the play-offs in the end.

Francois, 23, cut ties with Fulham at the end of the last campaign after they decided not to extend his contract. He officially became a free agent in late June and has since been weighing up his options as a free agent.

In this latest update regarding his situation by journalist Romano on X, the player is heading to the DW Stadium for a new chapter in his career with the Latics in the Football League. He has 'agreed' to the transfer already and will complete his medical 'shortly'.

Wigan Athletic to sign departed Fulham man
Wigan Athletic could see Francois as someone to bolster their midfield department and give them more competition and depth in that area.

He started his career in Australia before moving over to England as a youngster in 2013.

Fulham subsequently landed him and he has since risen up through the academy ranks of the London outfit.

He was a regular for the Whites at various different youth levels and went on to play 11 times for their first-team.

The New South Wales-born man also had loan spells away from Craven Cottage at HNK Gorica in Croatia and Vejle Boldklub in Denmark to get some experience under his belt.

What next for Wigan Athletic target?
Wigan Athletic are now working on a move for Francois ahead of next term.

He would be a decent signing for the Latics if they can get it over the line.

The ex-Australia youth international is a decent age, has potential to get better in the future and will inject more quality into Maloney's ranks.

Wigan Athletic are in pre-season friendly action on Friday night with an away trip to face Chorley of the National League North.

Fulham in 'advanced talks' after making offer – Silva's side also table bid for another player
A week ago, we covered claims from Brazil which stated Fulham have made advances to sign Fluminense's André Trindade.

A day later, UOL reported the Brazilian club are waiting for Marco Silva's side to make a formal bid for the midfielder.

Fluminense have now received an offer from Fulham if a report from Goal in Brazil is to be believed.

The Premier League side have offered €25m including bonuses and the South American club are evaluating it. They are also in negotiations with Fulham over a deal for the 23-year-old, and are looking for the London club to raise their offer.

If they were to accept Fulham's bid, the Brazilian international will be Fluminense's club-record sale, surpassing the €18.6m they earned from Gerson's sale to AS Roma in 2016.

Lance! also state Fluminense are in 'advanced talks' with Fulham, who have made a £25m [€29.7m] bid to sign André and this is €4.7m more than the figure quoted by Goal.

Silva's side are also keen on signing Sheffield United's Vinícius Souza. Goal say they have tabled an €18m offer, which has been rejected by the Blades. Souza's agent Giuliano Bertolucci is mediating the talks between the two English clubs.

"They believed in me" – Love for Fulham shines through, helped heal Southampton wounds
Footballers often have a club which stands out among the rest they've played at during their career. The club where they felt most wanted and at home, and the club they continue to look out for.

For Luís Boa Morte that club is Fulham. He played more games for the London side than any other in his career – by far – and there's a special place in his heart for them.

Importantly, Fulham were able to provide Boa Morte with a platform to shine after he'd gone through a miserable period at Southampton.

Speaking to O Jogo about his career, the coach was asked which club had the most impact on him, and it wasn't a difficult question to answer: Fulham.

"That's where I had the most influence, although at Arsenal I won the Premier League, the Cup and the Super Cup. But Fulham says a lot to me: for the promotion, for everything I've been through and for having created a connection with the club and the fans. It was very important in my growth as a player and a man. They believed in me when I didn't count for Southampton."

After his playing career, Boa Morte moved into coaching, and naturally worked at Fulham as part of his progression. The 46-year-old left a role with Marco Silva's staff earlier this year and is now the senior manager of Guinea-Bissau's national side.

Arsenal pit London rivals against each other to extract £40m fee for Smith Rowe...
He's been a sidelined second thought since injuries and the rises of Martinelli and Trossard displaced him from the spot on the left from which he dazzled us with 11 goals during the 2021-22 campaign. He's missed 31 of 114 Prem matches since then due to injury—hardly a staggering number. The real story has been his apparent fall from grace under Arteta, who hasn't really bothered to re-integrate the lad. With that as our backdrop. we've reached the sad stage of pitting Fulham and Crystal Palace against each other in order to boost Smith Rowe's fee as high as we can get it.

Fulham have already come in with a bid that was widely binned as "horrendous." We don't know their number, but that adjective suggests it might have been a rather derisory big, perhaps in the £25-30m range. If that's considered horrendous, this would suggest that Arsenal expect something closer to £40m. In what would amount to a bit of madness, that would set a new record for a player sale, eclipsing the £35m sale of Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool in 2017.

As we position ourselves to drive up Smith Rowe's potential fee, it's worth noting that neither Fulham nor Palace have ever spent more than £30m on a player, so it could prove difficult to drive Smith Rowe's fee northward of that number. That said, with both clubs interested, the 23 year old could very coll command that kind of fee. Of those 31 matches he'd missed since 2021-22, 21 of them were due to the September 2022 groin surgery. As a result of that and of being rooted to the bench for the last two seasons, he has to have some fresh legs and fire the belly.

As it currently stands, Fulham look the more likely to seize Smith Rowe away. They've apparently already made that "horrendous" bid, but, what's more, four of their top seven most-expensive transfers have come since July 2022. It seems as if Shahid Khan, owner and chair of the club since 2013, has finally decided to flex some financial muscle. For what it's worth, Khan is the world's 167th richest person. He may not be averse to splashing some cash for Smith Rowe. Palace's ownership structure is a bit trickier, with a consortium of four American investors splitting ownership, John Textor owning a 45% share. Whatever the ins and outs there, Palace haven't shown any great ambition in the transfer market but will almost certainly feel pressure to replace right winger Michael Olise, sold to Bayern after the Bavarians triggered his £60m release clause; they may also end up selling Eberechi Eze, who plays a role more-similar to Smith Rowe's.

I'd consider going out on a limb to suggest some kind of complicated swap-deal involving Smith Rowe and Nelson for Eze, but Eze plays a position we're already well-stocked with (and Nelson is linked with a move to West Ham, for what that's worth). Instead of overcomplicating things, then, let's hope that Palace and Fulham get into the kind of bidding war that drives Smith Rowe's fee way, way up. We get cash to spend, the lad gets a fresh start at a new club, and Fulham or Palace get their player. That's a win-win-win that should leave everyone with some warm fuzzies.

As for you, what would you accept as your minimum fee for Smith Rowe? He's homegrown and British, two factors that would inflate his fee. However, there's that injury record and lack of playing time, two factors that could deflate his fee. If we can't get £40m, what would you settle for?

Report: Hojbjerg emerges as an option for another Premier League side
After an initial bid was rejected for Manchester United's Scott McTominay, it has been reported that Fulham are considering Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as another midfield option.

Hojbjerg is expected to leave Spurs this summer
Earlier this week, The Athletic reported that Tottenham are expecting both Emerson Royal and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to depart this summer, with Djed Spence and Sergio Reguilon another pair likely to leave. Tottenham are reportedly yet to receive any offers for Hojbjerg however.

The Danish international has been at the EUROs this summer which could explain why rumours of the defensive midfielder moving on have only started to gather pace now.

Galatasaray were reported to be interested in the 28-year-old on the 16th of July after the Turkish club's vice-president confirmed that they, like Fulham, have interest in signing either Scott McTominay or Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer. (The Standard)

Fulham have Hojbjerg as an option this summer
The Cottagers, who beat Tottenham twice last season, are looking to account for the recent loss of Joao Palhinha who departed South West London for Munich in a £42.3 million deal. (BBC Sport)

Sky Sports have revealed that Fulham are weighing up whether or not to return to Manchester United with a second bid for Scott McTominay after their opening offer of £17 million was rebuffed earlier in the window.

Both Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Andre of Fluminense are believed to be other options that Andre Silva's side are monitoring this summer.

Spurs Web opinion
Fulham's interest in Hojbjerg can only be seen as a positive. The club and Postecoglou are clearly keen to sell the Dane after he often proved unfitting for Ange's system last season with his lack of progressivity and pace of play affecting many moves.

If The Cottagers have bid £17 million for McTominay there's hope a similar fee will be offered for Hojbjerg which would probably be enough to agree a sale.

Fulham revive talks to sign Brazilian midfielder
Fulham are in talks with Brazilian side Fluminense over the signing of 23-year-old midfielder Andre, according to Sky Sports.

The Whites had been keen on a deal for Andre last summer, given the speculation over Joao Palhinha's future.

With Palhinha's move to Bayern Munich now confirmed, Marco Silva's side are in the market for a midfield replacement.

Fluminense are believed to be holding out for a club-record £25 million fee for Andre, who has played five times in the Brasileirao this season.

Today's report claims that there is still plenty of work to do as part of any proposed deal, not least finding an agreement over personal terms with the player.

Fulham are also thought to have alternative targets in the midfield position should a move for the Brazilian fail to materialise, with Manchester United's Scott McTominay among those admired.

Leeds United join Watford in race to sign ex-Fulham defender
Leeds United have joined Watford FC in the race to sign AC Milan defender Fode Ballo-Toure.

That is according to French outlet Foot Mercato, which states that Daniel Farke's side are fighting it out with the Hornets to land the Frenchman after he fell out of favour in Italy.

The West Yorkshire outfit are planning for another season in the Championship after suffering play-off final heartbreak to Southampton last season.

Expectations will be even greater for manager Daniel Farke this time around, as the club will not want to have a third season in the second tier.

The club has already been busy in this transfer window with the permanent addition of Joe Rodon following his successful loan stint from Tottenham last saeson, as well as re-signing Alex Cairns from Salford City as a backup goalkeeper and Joe Rothwell being loaned in from AFC Bournemouth to add some more creativity to the midfield ranks.

Farke will want more though, and it now appears as though the club is targeting bringing in a new left-back, with Ballo-Toure emerging on their radar amid the possibility of Junior Firpo exiting Elland Road in favour of a return to Spain.

Leeds United join Watford in Fode Ballo-Toure race
It was reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio last month that Watford are interested in signing AC Milan left-back Ballo-Toure.

The Hornets are in the market for a new left-back, having had Jamal Lewis on their books last season on loan from Newcastle United, but his return to the Magpies means Watford are very light in that area of the pitch.

Tom Cleverley's side now face fresh competition though, as according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Leeds have also joined the race for the Milan man.

The report states that the defender has fallen out of favour at the San Siro, and AC Milan are keen to offload the player this summer before his contract expires next year.

It also adds that Milan had an agreement in place with Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, but the player himself is not interested in a move to Turkey.

As well as keenness from Turkey and England, Ballo-Toure is said to also have interest from Spain, with teams such as Sevilla and Celta Vigo looking at the defender.

Ballo-Toure isn't unknown to English football, with the defender recently taking on a loan spell at Premier League side Fulham.

Fode Ballo-Toure's 2023/24 Fulham stats
Ballo-Toure was sent out on loan last season to Premier League side Fulham.

It was a loan that didn't go well, as while he spent the majority of the season with the Cottagers, the defender only played eight times for the club.

Fodé Ballo-Touré's stats at AC Milan
Apps                     26
Goals                     1
Assists                     0
Stats as per Transfermarkt (As it stands on July 18th)

Six of those outings came in the Premier League, which equated to a paltry 65 minutes of football. Ballo-Toure, in fact, played more minutes in the two EFL Cup games he played for the club.

The 27-year-old has been with Milan since 2021, when he joined the club from French side AS Monaco.

His time with the Italian side has been a struggle, as the defender has managed just 26 games in three seasons.

Ballo-Toure could be a good signing for Leeds United
Leeds are in need of strengthening their defence, especially in the left-back area, so Farke will likely be assessing the options out there.

Ballo-Toure may be a concern for supporters, as the defender struggled in England last season.

However, a drop down to the Championship could be what he needs, as he will likely be too good for that level, but it could help him get back to his best.

This could also be a low-cost deal for the Whites, as Milan are keen to sell the player, and with him only having a year left on his contract, Leeds could be able to talk the club into a bargain deal.

Wolves transfer target strikes 'agreement' with Premier League rivals, he'd have been Joao Gomes 2.0
A player that Wolves targeted in 2023 is now poised to finally make a move to the Premier League but Gary O'Neil is missing out.

Gary O'Neil will be satisfied with Wolves' start to the summer transfer window, with four players tying their futures down to Molineux so far.

Tommy Doyle, Rodrigo Gomes, Pedro Lima and Jorgen Strand Larsen represent the arrivals so far, with Max Kilman's departure to West Ham the biggest exit in the first team to date.

While there is plenty of time left for the Old Gold to conduct further business in the market, O'Neil will be unable to secure one of the club's previous target, despite the player being set to move to the Premier League.

Former Wolves transfer target Andre Trindade is close to joining Premier League rivals Fulham
Wolves had a list of transfer targets last summer however, due to financial restraints, Julen Lopetegui was unable to acquire the players he hoped for.

One talent linked to Molineux was Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade, whom Bolavip claimed at the time was wanted by Liverpool, Fulham and Wolves.

The Brazilian was speculated to be a possible replacement for Ruben Neves at Wolves in the 2023 report however, the 23-year-old remained at Fluminense, despite being approached by Liverpool.

Now, it seems as though the time has finally come for the combative talent to come to the Premier League although O'Neil will not be the manager blessed with his services.

Journalist Rudy Galetti relayed this week that Fulham have reached an 'agreement' to the tune of £25m to sign Andre, who is poised to sign a deal at Craven Cottage until 2029.

It's hard luck for the club's that have appreciated the Brazilian's form over the past year, as Fulham close in on capturing the highly-rated Fluminense gem.

Gary O'Neil could have had a Joao Gomes clone with Andre
Renowned for his warrior-like presence in midfield, Andre is a logical signing for Fulham who have just parted ways with Joao Palhinha.

The midfielder, who was described as "unbelievable" by U23 scout Antonio Mango for his strength in retaining the ball, is exactly what the Cottagers will require to cover for the loss of Palhinha.

That being said, Wolves will feel somewhat frustrated that the Brazilian isn't heading to the Midlands this summer, being a talent who could have acted as O'Neil's very own clone of Joao Gomes.

The Brazilian, who was signed from Wolves in January 2023, has become an integral part of the squad at Molineux, with his bullish ways in the engine room making him one of the manager's most important players.

Last season, Gomes averaged an impressive 6.22 ball recoveries per 90 in the Premier League, a statistic that he fell short to Andre to as he recovered a stellar 6.80 per 90 in the Brazilian Serie A, via FBref.

Had Wolves maintained their interest in the defensive midfielder, O'Neil could have signed the perfect partner for his prized asset and a player who could have been the perfect successor to Mario Lemina in the pivot.

Now, the Old Gold will have to watch the progression of their former target from afar, with the duel between him and Gomes in midfield something to surely watch next term when Fulham and Wolves meet.

Fulham push for £25m-rated midfielder Andre as interest in Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe remains
Busy summer expected at Craven Cottage

Fulham are pushing to sign midfielder Andre from Brazilian side Fluminense as a replacement for Joao Palhinha.

The Cottagers received a club-record fee of up to £47.5million including add-ons for Palhinha, who left for Bayern Munich this month after almost joining the German club last summer and again in January.

Brazilian international Andre is now back on Fulham's radar, having agreed personal terms with the London club in January when it looked like Palhinha would leave.

Fulham hope to strike a deal with Andre, who Fluminense value at around £25m.

Andre, 23, was first of interest to Fulham last August, and the club were in regular dialogue with his representatives throughout last season.

Fulham also see Manchester United's Scott McTominay as an option if affordable.

They are expected to return with a fresh bid for Emile Smith Rowe, who Arsenal are willing to sell. A first bid in the region of £25m was rejected over the weekend.

The Cottagers also intend to strengthen at centre-back, where manager Marco Silva wants at least two new signings after losing Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea as a free agent. There is interest in Luton's Teden Mengi, an England Under-21 international.

Tyrese Francois is set for a medical at Wigan Athletic, having agreed a two-year deal after leaving Fulham as a free agent this month.

The Australian midfielder, 24, made 11 first-team appearances for Fulham between 2019 and 2024, spending the second half of last season on loan with Vejle Boldklub in the Danish Superliga.

Fulham, Liverpool and Manchester City are the only Premier League clubs yet to have made a first-team signing this summer.

Crystal Palace and Fulham discover 'asking price' for Arsenal star after bids rejected
Crystal Palace and Fulham reportedly know how much they will have to pay to sign Emile Smith Rowe this summer.

Crystal Palace and Fulham already know how much they will have to pay to land Emile Smith Rowe after seeing bids rejected over the last week. Multiple reports have claimed that both the Cottagers and Palace have seen bids turned down by Arsenal as the London rivals battle it out for Smith Rowe.

The three-time England international has found himself surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium having struggled for game time over the last 18 months. The signings of Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard, as well as the emergence of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have proved bad news for Smith Rowe, who was once tipped to become one of the Premier League's best players.

Still only 23 years of age, the midfielder still has every chance of being a top player, but he needs regular football, and he has not been getting that ar Arsenal for some time. With the Gunners also needing to balance the books to stay within Profit and Sustainability rules this summer, Smith Rowe finds himself on a list of players the club are willing to sell.

With that in mind, Fulham are said to be pushing for a deal as Marco Silva looks to bolster his squad after losing Joao Palhinha, while Crystal Palace need more creativity after losing Michael Olise, while Eberechi Eze could also leave by the time the summer window comes to a close

Sky Sports say both Fulham and Palace have come up short with their bids to sign Smith Rowe, but Arsenal still seem willing to sell, and both teams already know the price they have to pay, according to recent reports. HITC have reported that the Gunners want a minimum of £35million for Smith Rowe, who is under contract for another two years. It's unclear how much the two bids were worth, but it appears as though they have fallen short of that asking price.

Fulham Won't Face Everton Competition For Target
Fulham will not face competition from Everton for the signature of Palmeiras midfielder Richard Rios as the Toffees have no interest in signing him, according to the BBC.

The Colombian was part of the Colombia squad that reached the Copa America final recently and scored in the 5-0 win against Panama in the quarter-finals.

Fulham scouts have been left impressed with his form and want to sign him as a replacement for Joao Palhinha, who signed for Bayern Munich earlier in the summer.

The Cottagers have already opened talks with Palmeiras to discuss the feasibility of a deal.

However, they are not the only team keen though, with interest also arriving from Spain in the form of Villarreal.

Fulham's fellow Premier League side Everton have also been linked with wanting to sign Rios.

With Amadou Onana's future hanging in the balance following interest from Aston Villa, the Merseyside club could go out in the market to sign a replacement.

That could have put Everton on a collision course with Fulham.

Everton though are not interested in signing Rios this summer and will not rival Fulham for him.

It remains to be seen if the Colombian ends up in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace 'Expected to Make New Bid' for £25m Star

Crystal Palace are seriously considering whether to make a fresh offer for Emile Smith Rowe.
The Eagles remain interested in Arsenal's creative midfielder despite their initial proposal being snubbed.
Smith Rowe will have the final say over his future after struggling for regular game time.

Crystal Palace and Fulham are increasingly likely to make a second bid for Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe after an initial offer was rejected, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has told GIVEMESPORT.

The Eagles have made only a handful of new additions so far this summer, with the most significant being defender Chadi Riad from Real Betis. Austrian tactician Oliver Glasner has also signed attacking midfielder Daichi Kamada on a free transfer from Lazio.

However, there has been one major outgoing as winger Michael Olise opted to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich over the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United. Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi have also been linked with possible moves away in the current transfer window.

Eagles Poised to Lodge Improved Smith Rowe Proposal
Creative midfielder is firmly in Glasner's sights
Palace could return with a second, improved offer for Smith Rowe this summer, according to Sheth. The Sky Sports journalist claims the Eagles are one of multiple Premier League clubs keen on signing the creative midfielder, including London rivals Fulham.

Sheth told GIVEMESPORT on Thursday:

"There's been strong interest from Crystal Palace and Fulham and we expected bids to go in. That has transpired and they have both made bids for Smith Rowe. Both bids were rejected.

"It's expected now that discussions will continue internally at both clubs over whether to go back in with an improved offer, which we fully expect to happen."
Smith Rowe is a product of Arsenal's academy and he last signed a contract extension in 2020. He had a couple of loan spells in the early stages of his senior career to RB Leipzig and Huddersfield Town, although the last was in the second half of the 2019/20 season and he remains under contract until 2026.

Smith Rowe Will Have Final Say Over Future
Arsenal are willing to cash in if the money is right
Smith Rowe's game time at Arsenal has been severely restricted in recent seasons, although injuries have played their part. According to The Mirror, the midfielder is looking elsewhere in a bid to increase his game time and he will prioritise first team football.

The article goes on to state that it will likely be up to the player whether he departs this summer, provided interested clubs match Arsenal's valuation of the player. A previous report from talkSPORT suggests £25million could be enough to get a deal done.

Kieron Bowie a Hibs transfer 'target' but Scotland 21s man among 'several'
Hibs are looking at the former Raith Rovers man as they look to add firepower

Kieron Bowie is an option Hibs are looking at as they look to add more firepower to their squad, according to a report.

The Scotland under-21s striker is on the books at Fulham but could be available for another loan after two spells at Northampton. He scored five goals for the Cobblers in League Two and after having his time there extended, followed that up with nine in League One last season.

Sporting director Malky Mackay is leading recruitment at Easter Road and his main priority is adding in attacking areas, with at least one and possibly two strikers on the agenda. Bowie is one possibility, reports the Edinburgh Evening News, but the report states there are several other possible targets.

Bowie joined Fulham from Raith Rovers in 2020 after 10 goals for the Fifers as a teenager. The attacking areas emerged as a priority after manager David Gray made centre-backs Marvin Ekpiteta and Warren O'Hora two of his early signings, along with goalkeeper Josef Bursik on loan from Club Brugge. Fellow shotstopper Jordan Smith was signed today after his Stockport exit.

It was one-in-one-out as Jojo Wollacott left Easter Road to sign for Crawley in a permanent deal, while midfielder Ewan Henderson has moved to Belgian side Beerschot after a loan with Oostende. That took Hibs' exits in this window to 12, with more expected as they look to trim their bloated squad and add quality.

Fulham ready to move for 28-year-old Tottenham star to replace Palhinha
Tottenham are open to offers for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer and Fulham are one Premier League club believed to be readying a move for the Denmark international.

Marco Silva is looking to bring in a new midfielder ahead of the 2024/25 campaign as his options at Craven Cottage are limited. The Portuguese coach currently has Tom Cairney, Harrison Reed, and Sasa Lukic to choose from following the departure of his main star Joao Palhinha.

The 29-year-old joined Bayern Munich as part of a deal worth €56m. The Bundesliga club had an interest in the Fulham star since last summer and having failed to secure his services back then, the German giants returned.

The London club originally wanted Man United's Scott McTominay but they had a bid worth £17m rejected by the Manchester club, reports Football Insider.

As a result, Fulham have now turned their attention to Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, with the Cottagers said to be readying a bid for the Danish midfielder.

Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg should jump at Fulham opportunity
Hojbjerg does not have a future at Tottenham as the North London club would ideally like to sell the midfielder before his contract expires in 2025.

The Danish star was not a major player for Ange Postecoglou last season starting in just nine of his 36 Premier League appearances as the Australian coach preferred Yves Bissouma and Pape Sarr in his midfield two.

Spurs have now added Archie Gray to their ranks having signed the youngster from Leeds United during the current transfer window. This will reduce Hojbjerg's minutes further and the 28-year-old should jump at the chance to play for Fulham.

Bigger clubs may arrive for the Tottenham star but Fulham is an exciting project under Silva's leadership as the West London club played some beautiful football last season on the way to a 13th-place finish – which could have been higher.

It remains to be seen if the Cottagers submit an official proposal to Tottenham for the Denmark international, but Hojbjerg will certainly be at a new club come the end of the transfer window.

Fulham hope to complete Andre Trindade medical this week
Fulham are eager to complete a move for Andre Trindade and hope to fly the midfielder into the UK this week for a medical.

According to HITC, Fulham are advancing in their efforts to bring Andre Trindade. They hope to conclude a medical this week. The Cottagers are expected to agree a deal with Brazilian side Fluminense for the midfielder, as they are keen on flying him to the UK and completing the transfer.

Andre Trindade set to Fulham medical
Marco Silva has plenty of names to consider ahead of the next period to replace outgoing midfielder Joao Palhinha. The Portuguese international has joined Bayern Munich and leaves a significant gap in Fulham's midfield, which needs an apt replacement in the position.

Fulham are closing in on Andre Trindade's signature, as Silva might view the 23-year-old Brazilian international as the ideal replacement for Palhinha. The Cottagers were heavily linked with the midfielder back in January and may have come close to signing him, as were Liverpool, although neither move materialised.

This time around, the Brazilian club might be open to selling the midfielder, who could fulfil his dream of playing in Europe. He does harbour hopes to feature for a Premier League side, although he previously had ambitions to play for a much bigger side. Either way, the move to Fulham might be very close as things stand, with the club eager to fly the 23-year-old Brazilian international into the UK for his medical.

That should indicate the advanced nature of negotiations between Fulham and Fluminense about this transfer of Andre. The Brazilian side demanded at least £40 million back in January, and now, how much the Cottagers are willing to pay remains under wraps.

Fulham's other midfield target
Some might see signing a Brazilian with no experience outside of Brazil as a visible risk, meaning Fulham could be open to adding another midfielder. Andre remains a good option, but Silva is also looking at Manchester City outcast Kalvin Phillips.

There are links to Scott McTominay, who could be on the move despite claims that Manchester United are not in a particular hurry to sell the Scotsman right now. Either way, Silva will likely eye another midfielder alongside Andre as he pushes to strengthen a key area weakened by the departure of a formidable player like Palhinha.

Fulham reach agreement to sign Andre Trindade
Fulham have struck a deal with Fluminense for the services of Brazilian midfield sensation Andre Trindade.

According to a report from Rudy Galetti, Fulham have agreed terms with Fluminense for the transfer of Andre Trindade. The Brazilian international who has had an incredible rise in recent seasons will be joining the Cottagers in a deal worth £25 million.

Andre has come up the ranks at the Brazilian club and has been a part of their first team since the summer of 2021. The defensive midfielder already has close to 200 appearances and has been one of their mainstays in recent seasons.

His exceptional performances have helped him break into the Brazil national team. While he did miss out on the Copa America squad, his rise hasn't gone unnoticed. The 23-year-old has put himself on the wishlist of multiple clubs from across Europe.

Fulham closing in on Andre
While quite a few clubs were monitoring him, Fulham seem to have won the race for his services. The Cottagers have a long-standing interest in the midfield star. They wanted to sign him back in the day as well. Things might not have worked out back then but it seems they have finally stuck a deal for Andre.

Joao Palhinha's move to Bayern Munich meant the Cottagers are in desperate need of bringing in a top-quality replacement. They have been watching the Brazilian midfielder closely for months and feel he could be a great long-term solution.

His defensive work rate could help cope with the Portuguese international's absence. After long-drawn negotiations, Fulham have reached an agreement in principle with the Fluminense. The Cottagers have managed to beat the competition and have agreed to pay £25 million for the youngster with details like fixed parts and add-ons yet to be discussed.

The Premier League outfit were already in talks with the player's representatives regarding personal terms. The player seems keen on making the move to England as it represents a major step in his career. He has reportedly agreed on a deal that will run until the summer of 2029. If this transfer goes through, it will make Andre the biggest sale in Fluminense history.

Galatasaray Feel Fulham And Tottenham Target 'Open To A Move'
Galatasaray believe that Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham target Scott McTominay is 'open to a move' to them and are continuing efforts to sign him.

The Manchester United midfielder is now firmly in demand in the summer transfer window with both Tottenham and Fulham keen on securing his services.

McTominay has interest from further afield though with Galatasaray interested in taking him to Turkey.

Manchester United have told Galatasaray they want €30m for the midfielder, which is to much for the Turks, but they are not giving up.

Galatasaray feel that McTominay is 'open to a move' to them and they have a serious chance, according to Sky Deutschland.

They remain in contact with Manchester United as they try to find a deal which works for both clubs.

Galatasaray consider McTominay to be the preferred solution for their midfield.

It is unclear though if the Turkish club will be able to compete with the Premier League spending power of both Tottenham and Fulham.

Palmeiras want €21 million to sell Richard Rios amid Fulham links
Palmeiras want at least €21 million from suitors for Copa America finalist and Colombian midfielder Richard Rios, with Fulham leading the chase.

According to Fichajes, Fulham and other suitors of Richard Rios will have to pay at least €21 million to sign the Colombian midfielder. The Copa America Finalist has a significant opportunity to move out of South America, with the Cottagers currently leading the charge for the midfielder in this window.

Palmeiras names Richar Dios price
Richard Rios might not have been a player known to many before the Copa America, although the Continental championships have put him on the transfer map among European clubs. The Colombian midfielder was a mainstay and integral to his nation's road to the Final against Argentine, where they ended up on the losing side following a late Lautaro Martinez goal.

Palmeiras are aware of the growing interest in the 24-year-old South American midfielder and are now depending on at least €21 million to sell him. Rios has already shown what he can do in midfield, as he practically dictated the tempo for Colombia during the Copa America.

Fulham are the current frontrunners for Rios and have the necessary funds following the sale of Joao Palhinha. Marco Silva is the driving force behind this pursuit, as they need new midfielders to fill the void left by the Portuguese midfielder, and the Palmeiras star fits the bill in a big way.

Silva is looking to add at least two solid midfielders, with Fulham already close to signing Andre Trindade from Fluminese. It appears they are not leaving Brazil anytime soon and might even broker a deal for Palmeiras star Rios, bringing the dynamic midfield duo to Craven Cottage.

Fulham are prioritising midfield signings
Apart from the two South American midfielders mentioned above, Fulham might consider an additional star in the mix, as Silva might look at the prospect of Premier League experience. Scott McTominay is a significant option for the manager to consider, as Manchester United might eventually decide to sell.

The sale of Palhinha might have given Silva the opportunity to rebuild his midfield with some more poise and character. For now, they are closing in on Andre, but with the price of Rios, Colombia might also be considered, especially after his exploits at the Copa America.
