Liverpool would have to pay £40million to sign Premier League defender in January
Arne Slot could have not have started life at Liverpool in a better way.

The Merseyside club have managed to win 17 out of their 19 matches this season.

They are currently top of the Premier League standings and also leading the the Champions League table.

With confidence sky high after a win against Champions League winners Real Madrid, Slot's side is preparing to face Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.

Along with challenging for trophies this season, Slot has one eye on the January transfer window, hoping to make new additions to the squad.

The club's only instant arrival in the summer transfer window was Federico Chiesa from Juventus.

According to GiveMeSport, Liverpool are contemplating a move for Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson in the January transfer window.

The report mentions interest from Man City in the services of the Fulham defender but that will not stop Liverpool from testing Fulham's resolve to keep their star defender.

The Reds are struggling in the left-back position this season with first choice defender Andy Robertson disappointing with his performances.

The Scottish defender conceded a penalty against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

His performances over all have been not up to the standards that Liverpool and Slot require.

With Liverpool showing interest in the Fulham defender, his head could be turned and the opportunity to play in the Champions League and compete for the Premier League title would be too good for Robinson to ignore.

Liverpool have the funds to finance a move for Antonee Robinson
The report mentions that Fulham are expected to demand £40million for their left-back, hoping that the amount would be too big for Liverpool to match since they want to keep Robinson at the club.

The defender has more than three years remaining on his current contract at Craven Cottage.

Liverpool are confident that they can beat Man City to the signing of the defender and he could add more quality to their already brilliant defense.

The Reds have received a major boost in their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

Tottenham vs Fulham injury news as 7 ruled out and 3 doubts
All the latest injury news surrounding Tottenham and Fulham as the two London sides prepare to face off in the Premier League.

Tottenham and Fulham face off in an all London Premier League clash on Sunday. Spurs will be looking to continue their revival after a statement win over Manchester City last weekend, while they were forced to settle for a frustrating late draw with AS Roma in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Fulham will be looking to return to their pre-international break good form after suffering a surprise heavy defeat to Wolves last weekend. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams.

Harrison Reed - Out
Reed is out with a knee issue. Marco Silva confirmed a week ago: "Yesterday, he got an injury in his knee, and he'll need surgery there. He should be out for 5-6 weeks."

Joachim Andersen - Doubt
Anderson has a calf issue that will keep him out here barring any surprises, though he has an outside chance and so he goes down as a doubt.

Sander Berge - Doubt
Berge has a knock but could return here.

Guglielmo Vicario - Out
Vicario is out until the new year with an ankle injury. Postecoglou has said: "It's not going to be weeks. It'll be months. With surgery, there are certain timelines. I don't like giving timelines so early in the process, as it puts undue pressure on the player... Once he starts getting [on the training pitch], we'll have a clearer idea."

Richarlison - Out
The Brazilian will miss another month yet with Postecoglou confirming: "Richarlison, hopefully, he'll be back in the New Year but, again, similar to Micky (van de Ven), we've got to be careful every step of the way."

Rodrigo Bentancur - Out (Suspended)
Bentancur is suspended for domestic fixtures due to comments made in a media interview.

Micky van de Ven - Out
Van de Ven should return this side of the new year, but he remains out. Postecoglou has said: "Micky is on course, working hard, training. It's day by day with him; we have to make sure he ticks off all the boxes before he gets integrated into the squad."

Mikey Moore - Out
Moore has been battling illness and he will remain out. Postecoglou said last week: "We're still taking it slowly with him; it's still probably a couple of weeks before he'll be ready to get properly back into it."

Cristian Romero - Doubt
Romero has an outside chance of returning, but this one could come too soon. Postecoglou said last week: "Cuti is getting better. He's a lot closer. We're hoping he'll be out there training with the group with a bit of luck by the back end of this week. If not, definitely next week."

Odobert has undergone surgery on his thigh injury and will be out for a long period of time.

Brennan Johnson must be axed despite Tottenham goal v Roma
Ange Postecoglou must axe Brennan Johnson against Fulham on Sunday despite the forward scoring for Tottenham against Roma.

After their 4-0 Premier League win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium [23 November], Spurs' confidence would have been high ahead of their UEFA Europa League clash with Roma at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday [28 November].

However, the best that Postecoglou's side could manage was a 2-2 draw, with Mats Hummels scoring a stoppage-time equaliser for the visitors.

And in truth, a draw was perhaps more than the North London outfit deserved after their poor second-half display against Claudio Ranieri's side.

Therefore, Postecoglou needs to make changes for the Premier League clash with Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday [1 December], and one of the players who must make way is Johnson, despite the Welshman scoring against Roma.

Brennan Johnson must be axed for Tottenham v Fulham
While Johnson did get on the scoresheet against Roma on Thursday, his overall display was pretty poor.

As per Sofascore, the 23-year-old missed two big chances and managed just 25 touches of the ball overall. In addition, he failed to attempt a single dribble while zero per cent of his crosses into the box were accurate.

He also completed just 60 per cent of his passes, with none of those key, while giving the ball away seven times. Although he won 100 per cent of his duels and made one tackle, the former Nottingham Forest man just didn't offer enough overall.

Against City, James Maddison, who was perhaps mistakenly left out against Roma, started and scored twice, while also succeeding with 100 per cent of his dribbles and completing 89 per cent of his passes.

With Maddison in midfield, Dejan Kulusevski, who let Postecoglou down with a "ridiculous" moment against Roma, started on the right, where Johnson was playing on Thursday.

That formula worked well, with Spurs thrashing Pep Guardiola's side.

Johnson did manage a goal from the bench at the Etihad, and that is where he should once again start on Sunday when Fulham travel to North London.

Saša: Happy to be back
Saša Lukić was bossing the Fulham midfield this season until an injury picked up on international duty curtailed his progress. Now back in the side, we grabbed five minutes with him ahead of Sunday's trip to Tottenham Hotspur...

Saša, result-aside, how good was it to be back playing for Fulham after seven weeks out?

Being out for around a month and a half, it was good to come back in last weekend to try to help the team. For me personally, I was happy because the last few weeks were tough for me, and I worked a lot to try to get back as soon as I could.

I'm grateful to everyone who assisted me during my rehabilitation, the medical team and all the staff. I was happy to be back but, of course, the match didn't go well for us and I was unhappy with the result. We played a very good first half, we scored a great goal, and we could have scored a second and a third, but in the end we conceded and the game changed. So, I was disappointed with the result.

You played the full 90 minutes and looked fit – how did you find it?

Physically I felt really good, as I did a lot of good work with Bruno [Mendes] on my fitness, and then in the last fortnight I worked hard with the squad and Marco, so when I was called up into the squad again I was ready.

When you got the injury it must have been so frustrating, as your form had been very good this season?

Yes, it was frustrating as I felt at the time I was going through the best spell in my career so far. I was in a very good moment and then got injured. This is part of football and life, and at the beginning I was feeling down, but I said to myself that this happened for a reason, and I put my mind immediately to focus on working hard to come back stronger. Now, I want to continue in this way.

Sander Berge came into that number six role when you were injured – what did you make of his performances?

He's a great player and a great person, and he adapted very well. All players like Sander are important and I'm sure he'll carry on helping the team.

Tottenham Hotspur had a fantastic win against Manchester City in their last match – what can we expect from them on Sunday?

They are in a good moment, having beaten City 4-0. We know their style of play very well, last season we played against them and beat them 3-0 at home. They have the same players and we need to prepare for the game as best as we can. If we focus on ourselves and what we are capable of, we can achieve another good result.

You must have good memories of that 3-0 win, having scored your first Fulham goal in that game?

It was a beautiful memory, and I hope that on Sunday we can win and do everything we can to take three points, and why not try to score again!

Spurs predicted line-up vs. Fulham: three key changes with Romero among seven who could miss out
The latest Tottenham Hotspur team news, injury update and predicted XI ahead of Sunday's showdown with Fulham.

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Fulham to north London this Sunday when they return to Premier League action and will hope to finally break their streak of alternating between wins and losses in the league – but will also have to do so without several key players.

A serious injury to first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is the latest severe blow to Ange Postecoglou's squad, and the Italian is one of up to seven players who could miss out through injury or suspension as Spurs attempt to follow up one of the most famous wins in their recent history.

We've got the latest Spurs team news and injury updates below, as well as our best guess at Postecoglou's likely starting line-up – and if you're here looking for some information ahead of Friday's Fantasy Premier League deadline, then you can also find our resident expert's regular advice column right here.

Goalkeeper & Defence
The club have yet to put a timeline on Vicario's return to action, but he will be out for months after undergoing surgery on a fractured ankle which he picked up during the remarkable 4-0 defeat of Manchester City at the Etihad last weekend. Fraser Forster, who looked sharp when called upon against AS Roma in the Europa League on Thursday, is expected to deputise in the league as well.

There is a doubt over the availability of key centre-back Cristian Romero, who missed the match in Manchester thanks to an ankle injury he picked up while away on international duty with Argentina. Postecoglou said prior to the Roma game that Romero was returning to training ahead of Sunday's game and would feature "with a bit of luck" but in his most recent press conference, he said that it was "unlikely" that Romero would feature, although he stopped short of ruling him out. Romero's usual central defensive partner, Micky van de Ven, remains out with a hamstring injury but is close to returning to training.

Midfield
One player who will certainly miss out is Rodrigo Bentancur, who will serve the second match of a seven-game suspension for making racist remarks regarding team-mate Son Heung-Min. Tottenham are in the process of appealing the length of the Uruguayan's ban, but that is not expected to be resolved in time to give Bentancur any chance of playing this weekend.

Elsewhere, Postecoglou should enjoy a clean bill of health in midfield, and the only debate is whether he will bring the in-form Dejan Kulusevski back into a central role to accommodate Brennan Johnson or persist with a double pivot of Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma.

Forwards
Spurs have several players missing on the wings, with Richarlison and summer signing Wilson Odobert (both hamstring) both long-term injuries – Richarlison is expected back in January, but no timeline has been placed on Odobert's recovery as yet.

Young winger Mikey Moore, who has been struggling with a virus, is also expected to miss out with Postecoglou previously suggesting that he would take a "couple of weeks" to recover. Dominic Solanke should be fit to lead the line once more.

Forster; Udogie, Davies, Dragusin, Porro; Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison; Son, Kulusevski, Solanke.

The multi-year deal is part of the vodka brand's UK expansion and on the global Premier League stage.

Postecoglou delivers Cristian Romero injury update ahead of Tottenham v Fulham
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Tottenham defender Cristian Romero is "unlikely" to feature against Fulham on Sunday.

Spurs were frustrated on Thursday [28 November] as Roma scored a last-minute equaliser in a 2-2 UEFA Europa League draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with one player letting Postecoglou down in the clash after a "ridiculous" moment.

Therefore, Postecoglou will be keen for his side to bounce back when they host Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday [1 December], a match which one player must be dropped for after his performance on Thursday.

However, that will be easier said than done with one player likely to miss out again.

While speaking ahead of the clash [via Football London, 29 November], Postecoglou issued an injury update on centre-back Romero.

The Australian said, "Unlikely when it comes to returns but Romero is closer but probably unlikely. I'm not ruling him out. He's got to get through a few things today and then there's a session tomorrow."

Cristian Romero "unlikely" to feature for Tottenham against Fulham
Romero is one of Spurs' key players.

As per fbref, the 27-year-old ranks in the 99th percentile of his positional peers in England's top flight for the number of tackles he has won this season [2.06 per 90] as well as the 97th percentile for the number of dribblers he has tackled [1.31 per 90].

He also ranks in the top three per cent of Premier League centre-backs for his total passing distance [1384.50 yards per 90] as well as his total progressive passing distance [543.09 yards per 90], while he also sits in the top five per cent for the number of passes he has played into the final third [7.97 per 90].

Therefore, it is clear to see why Postecoglou will be desperate to get the 26-year-old back on the pitch.

And the performance of Radu Drăgușin against Roma only further emphasises how much Romero is missed.

As per Sofascore, the Romanian lost both the duels he contested, one on the ground and one in the air, while he also gave away four fouls.

Therefore, the sooner Romero is available for selection again, the better.

Ex-Chelsea, Fulham and Sheffield United man 'in talks' with Championship club over manager vacancy
QPR's relegation rivals Hull City are in the hunt for a new manager after Tim Walter was sacked earlier this week

Former Fulham, Sheffield United and Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic has reportedly made his way to London to hold talks over the managerial vacancy at Championship strugglers Hull City.

Queens Park Rangers and Millwall's Championship rivals sacked Tim Walter on Wednesday after a 2-0 home loss to Sheffield Wednesday which left the Tigers inside the relegation zone. The German was only in charge for 17 games and prior to his departure had described his time in East Yorkshire as the toughest of his managerial career.

According to journalist Alan Biggs, Jokanovic was scheduled to meet with Hull owner Acun Ilicali for talks in London on Thursday. Jokanovic has managed 168 games in the Championship in spells with the Blades, Fulham and the Hornets. He has won 80 of those games, drawing 43 and losing 45. The former Chelsea midfielder spent 36 matches in charge of Watford and 22 at Sheffield United. His most successful spell in England came with Fulham, as he was in charge for three years and won the Championship play-offs with the Craven Cottage outfit in 2018.

He was sacked a few months after securing promotion. At time of his departure, the Cottagers were bottom of the Premier League with five points from 12 games. At the time of his sacking, he said: "It is always disappointing when this happens, but I reflect on my spell at Fulham with immense pride and gratitude, looking back on great memories following my appointment at this fantastic football club almost three years ago now.

"We have been on an exciting journey together. It all started when we avoided relegation to League One in my first season, before reaching the play-offs in my second year and then achieving promotion to the Premier League on an unforgettable day at Wembley back in May. I feel that we gave the club's fans a footballing identity and a team to be proud of. I was still confident that we would have been able to turn things around after our slow start to the season, just as we had done in previous years, but I respectfully accept the club's decision.

"I would like to express my gratitude to Shahid Khan for giving me the opportunity to manage this great club and for his kindness. I extend my thanks to everyone at Fulham Football Club. It has also been a real pleasure to work with the players, and my staff and I wish to thank the squad for all of their effort and dedication. Finally, I am extremely grateful to the Fulham fans for their support since I arrived at the club and their very kind messages following my departure. I want to wish everyone connected with Fulham Football Club all the very best for the future."

Hull are just one point above QPR after the Loftus Road outfit clinched an impressive 2-0 win at relegation rivals Cardiff City on Wednesday. The East Yorkshire club have lost eight of their 17 Championship outings this term although they have taken points off both Millwall and QPR. They secured a hard-fought 0-0 draw at the Den back in August before winning 3-1 at Loftus Road at the beginning of October.

Tottenham XI vs Fulham: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injury latest for Premier League game
Ange Postecoglou remains without some key players as Spurs look to build on Man City thrashing

Ange Postecoglou says Cristian Romero is "unlikely" to return to the Tottenham XI for Sunday's visit of Fulham in the Premier League.

The Argentine centre-back has missed the last two games with foot and hamstring niggles, and is set to be assessed after training on Friday.

The Spurs head coach's big decision is at No8, where Pape Matar Sarr, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison are pushing for two places, although the Swede could return to the right wing in place of Brennan Johnson.

Maddison was rested from the start against Roma in the Europa League on Thursday and is expected to return to the side after scoring twice in last weekend's 4-0 win at Manchester City.

Kulusevski completed 90 minutes against the Italians and could be rested this weekend, despite being Spurs' player of the season so far.

Elsewhere, Postecoglou has few obvious options to change his side, with Richarlison, Wilson Odobert and Micky van de Ven (all hamstring) still sidelined, Mikey Moore unavailable as he recovers from a virus and Rodrigo Bentancur set to serve the second match of his seven-game domestic ban.

Guglielmo Vicario is also sidelined after ankle surgery, meaning Fraser Forster will make his first Premier League appearance since May 2023 in goal.

Predicted Tottenham XI (4-3-3): Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski; Johnson, Son, Solanke

Injured: Vicario, Van de Ven, Odobert, Moore, Richarlison

Doubt: Romero

Suspended: Bentancur

Time and date: 1:30pm GMT on Sunday December 1, 2024

Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Fulham Preview: To break a curse
Spurs have alternated wins and losses in their past seven league matches. Can the insurmountable narrative be overcome?

Dismantling Manchester United away. Humbling West Ham. Dominating Aston Villa. A historic conquest at Manchester City. The highs for Tottenham Hotspur over the past two months have been oh so high — yet the lows during that span have been about as low as can be with losses to two relegation candidates and taking zero points after leading Brighton by two. The WLWLWLW pattern over these seven matches suggest frustration is coming on Sunday, and it is hard to disagree.

Fulham is a decent side, just one point behind Spurs, but there is no doubt that Tottenham should be taking all three points here, especially at home. It obviously has not worked out that way though, and instead this just feels like it could be another wasted opportunity to potentially jump into the top four. Winning consecutive league matches for the first time since September should not feel this difficult, but here we are.

Tottenham Hotspur (t-6th, 19pts) vs. Fulham (t-9th, 18pts)
Date: Sunday, December 1
Time: 8:30 am ET, 1:30 pm UK
Location: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
TV: Peacock (US)

The Cottagers have taken seven points from their past four matches, but have not taken down any big six sides this year, losing to both Manchester clubs (and also losing to Villa). That does not preclude them from the upset on Sunday, as far worse teams have beaten Spurs recently, but Fulham has not exactly looked like giant killers this year.

Aside from that League Cup loss early under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs have generally fared well in this matchup with a 6-1-1 record in Fulham's last four seasons in the top flight. The London sides split home and home last season, with Heung-Min Son and James Maddison scoring in the 2-0 win at the new Lane. The reverse fixture was an inexcusable 3-0 beating in West London that came on the heels of the 0-4 masterpiece at Villa Park.

Depths of despair
Even if Tottenham stops being completely dumb against terrible competition, it is going to be tough to climb up the table going forward without Guglielmo Vicario. The loss of the excellent goalkeeper is the most devastating injury to date, despite both starting center backs missing time, and Spurs' depth is really going to be put to the test. As the draw to Roma showed once again, the defense has been anything but reliable, and pivoting to Fraser Forster is not going to help with that.

Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs. Fulham - prediction, team news, lineups
Bidding to arrest a two-game run without a home victory, Tottenham Hotspur host London rivals Fulham in Sunday's Premier League derby.

Ange Postecoglou's team succumbed to a late leveller in a 2-2 Europa League draw with Roma on Thursday, while their visitors were slain 4-1 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out in the top flight.

Match preview
When stand-in goalkeeper Fraser Forster pulled off a last-minute wonder save in Thursday's showdown with Roma, the destiny of the Europa League points had seemingly been decided, with Son Heung-min and Brennan Johnson's efforts edging Spurs ahead in a frenetic battle.

However, having been denied twice by the offside flag in the second half, Claudio Ranieri's team finally nabbed the leveller that their relentless pressure deserved, as veteran defender Mats Hummels crashed home at the back stick to conclude a chaotic North London night.

The 2-2 stalemate with Roma marked the second Tottenham game in a row where the net bulged four times, but all four of those efforts astonishingly went the Lilywhites' way at the Etihad last weekend, where Spurs slaughtered a capitulating Manchester City side to rise to sixth place in the Premier League standings.

Only three points separates Postecoglou's outfit from Brighton & Hove Albion, Arsenal and Chelsea before gameweek 12 gets underway, but the crushing of City represents the hosts' only triumph from their last four matches in all tournaments, a sequence that also includes consecutive defeats to Galatasaray and Ipswich Town.

Tottenham have at least found the back of the net in eight straight home games across all tournaments since September's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, one of seven losses that Postecoglou has overseen from 16 Premier League London derbies since taking the reins in 2023.

Of all managers to have taken charge of at least 10 matches for Tottenham's men's team, Postecoglou is statistically the second-worst when it comes to Premier League London derbies - his 44% loss rate is only marginally better than Glenn Hoddle's 48% in capital clashes.

However, Spurs are hosting a Fulham side reeling from a Craven Cottage catastrophe at home to relegation-threatened Wolves, who fell behind to an early Alex Iwobi effort before going on the West London warpath through Matheus Cunha (2), Goncalo Guedes and Joao Gomes.

Having seen their three-game unbeaten run come to an end in truly disheartening circumstances, Fulham have fallen one point and three places below Tottenham in ninth spot, although Marco Silva's troops remain firmly in continental contention with nearly a third of the season complete.

The only pleasing aspect of last weekend's shellacking for Fulham was that Iwobi's strike made it 13 games in all competitions with at least one goal for the Cottagers, who have not been shut out by any team since losing to Manchester United in the opening Premier League contest of the season.

The Cottagers have also avoided defeat in each of their last seven Premier League London derbies and could go unbeaten in eight for the first time ever, most recently decimating Spurs 3-0 at Craven Cottage in March, but their last league success on Tottenham's turf arrived all the way back in March 2013.

Team News
Postecoglou delivered both good and bad news on toe victim Cristian Romero on Friday, confirming that the Argentine was on the cusp of coming back from his problem but is unlikely to be available for selection on Sunday.

The Argentine should therefore be one of seven absentees for Spurs alongside Mikey Moore (illness), Guglielmo Vicario (ankle), Micky van de Ven (hamstring), Richarlison (hamstring), Wilson Odobert (hamstring) and the suspended Rodrigo Bentancur, serving the second of his seven-game domestic punishment.

Bentancur completed 78 minutes of the Roma draw in midweek but should now relinquish his place in the engine room to Yves Bissouma, while Johnson's spot in the side is set to come under threat by the returning James Maddison.

As far as Fulham are concerned, they will be without one of their own midfield fulcrums until the New Year, as Harrison Reed underwent knee surgery just over a week ago and is expected to remain sidelined until early January.

Silva has also confirmed that Joachim Andersen will be out for "some games" with a calf strain, while Jorge Cuenca is missing too, but Sander Berge is seemingly OK

Issa Diop will deputise for Andersen in the heart of defence here, while Bernd Leno, Reiss Nelson, Iwobi and Emile Smith Rowe can all expect hostile welcomes thanks to their Arsenal connections.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son

Fulham possible starting lineup:
Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Fulham
Spurs arguably could have had few qualms had Roma returned to Italy with all three points on Thursday, as Postecoglou's depleted backline conceded numerous opportunities to Ranieri's side and should be breached at least once by a goal-happy Fulham.

Attack should therefore be the best form of defence for the Lilywhites on Sunday, and while it may not be pretty, we still back the hosts to capitalise on their visitors' recent rearguard vulnerabilities to emerge triumphant and end Fulham's unbeaten derby run.

The opposition

Spurs go into the weekend sitting sixth in the Premier League, a point and three places above Fulham, but will perhaps feel they should be even higher.

The top scorers in the division with 27 goals, Tottenham have beaten the likes of Aston Villa and both Manchester sides this season, but they took just one point from matches against Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town.

The Europa League has also proven to be a fairly inconsistent competition for them, as they followed up three consecutive wins with defeat in Turkey by Galatasaray, before conceding a stoppage time equaliser at home to Roma on Thursday.

Team News

🐓 Guglielmo Vicario will be out after undergoing ankle surgery, meaning Fraser Forster is likely to keep goal for the foreseeable future. Micky van de Ven, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert all have hamstring injuries, while Mikey Moore is ill. Cristian Romero is closest to a return, but is still considered a long shot for the weekend. Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended.

🖤 Joachim Andersen joins Harrison Reed in the treatment room, and will miss the next few matches. Fellow centre-back Jorge Cuenca is also absent after picking up a knock in midweek, while Ryan Sessegnon is a doubt for the match at his former club.

Duplicate tickets requested can be picked up two hours prior to kick-off from the Away Ticket Office, which is located on the North-East side of the stadium (Worcester Avenue). Fulham lineup vs. Tottenham: Predicted XI for Premier League London derby
Fulham head coach Marco Silva has confirmed that he will be without Joachim Andersen for Sunday's Premier League London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Dane has been struggling with a calf problem since the 4-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, and Silva has now admitted that he will be out for the next few matches.

Harrison Reed (knee) and Jorge Cuenca welcome Andersen into the Fulham infirmary, while one-time Tottenham man Ryan Sessegnon is touch-and-go for the all-capital clash.

With Andersen missing, Issa Diop should be introduced into an otherwise untouched backline, as Calvin Bassey, Kenny Tete and Antonee Robinson protect former Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno as ever.

Sander Berge was absent from loss to Wolves on account of his own knock, but the Norwegian will presumably be OK to line up alongside Andreas Pereira in the middle here, thus bumping Sasa Lukic down to the bench.

An all-Hale End trio of Alex Iwobi, Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe supported Raul Jimenez against Wolves, but both Adama Traore and Harry Wilson will threaten Nelson's place in the side.

Fulham possible starting lineup:
Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez

Before The Whistle: Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham

Hopefully we've dusted ourselves off, licked our Wolves-inflicted wounds and we're ready to go again.

For all the doom and gloom of Sunday, pull off a surprise against Spurs and we'll leapfrog Big Ange's side. But after their 4-0 gubbing of free-falling Man City on the weekend, we know it'll be a tough ask.

The question on everyone's lips this week was: will Joachim Andersen be fit? Marco Silva answered that – and it wasn't what we wanted to hear. The great Dane will be out for "some games". Quite how many is anyone's guess, but, as when Joa saw red earlier this campaign, Issa Diop has a chance to deputise and impress

Sasa Lukic came straight back into the XI last weekend with Sander Berge falling out the squad due to illness. It'll be interesting to see how the midfield three looks come kick-off now the Norwegian has recovered.

This game sparks a tricky run of festive fixtures, so let's hope on a day that many will be putting up their trees, the boys bag tree more points on the road. You Whites.

Andreas Pereira open to Fulham exit as he talks up Marseille move
Former Manchester United midfielder says it would be "very cool" to join the Ligue 1 giants under Roberto De Zerbi

Andreas Pereira has opened the door to an exit from Fulham with a tell-all interview about his transfer situation.

The Brazilian midfielder has been a key player for Marco Silva's side since joining from Manchester United in 2022, but the significant transfer interest in him over the summer still appears to be on his mind.

The 28-year-old returned to the Brazilian national team setup after a six-year hiatus last summer, and attracted interest from Monaco and Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest, as well as a concrete offer from Marseille.

Pereira revealed to PL Brasil: "From outside [England] arrived [an offer] from Marseille. We talked, and unfortunately it didn't work. In the last few days [of the summer window], also [there was interest] from Nottingham Forest.

"It was these clubs that came closest to [signing me], but I had a lot of interest [from others]."

Pereira added: "As I was on vacation, I was more in contact with him [Giuliano Bertolucci, Pereira's agent]. But he always warns me, telling me: 'Look, there's an interested club, let's see what happens'.

"It would be very cool [to go to Marseille], the way [Roberto] De Zerbi plays soccer. I was watching it with good eyes, but let's see now in January or at the end of the season if there will be a transfer or if I will stay at Fulham.

"Sometimes, I see something and I get excited to talk to him [Bertolucci]. I ask, 'Is this happening and you know?' And he always says no. I think: 'Damn, it's complicated.'"

Pereira's words could sound alarms at Fulham, where most players have only had positive words to say about the environment in recent seasons.

In an interview with Standard Sport back in August, Pereira admitted that leaving Manchester United in 2022 was the "best decision" of his life.

Andreas Pereira opens door to Fulham departure as he reveals Roberto De Zerbi wish
Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira has opened the door to a potential departure after he admitted he spoke to Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi in the summer.

Pereira was heavily linked with a move away during the summer after he attracted significant attention with his impressive performances last season.

The Brazilian started 34 of his 37 Premier League appearances last term, contributing to Fulham's attacking efforts with three goals and seven assists.

Pereira emerged as a transfer target for French giants Marseille, who failed with a transfer bid in the summer transfer window.

Pereira confirms Marseille, Forest interest
In an interview with PL Brasil, Pereira admitted that Marseille and Nottingham Forest were both close to signing him in the summer.

"From overseas [England], an offer from Marseille, we talked, and unfortunately it didn't work out," Pereira said.

"In the last few days [of the window] there was also one from Nottingham Forest. It was the clubs that came closest to signing me, but there was a lot of interest [from others]."

Chelsea also reportedly held talks with Fulham over a move for Pereira, while Monaco spoke to the player's representatives about a potential switch to the principality.

Pereira expresses desire to play for De Zerbi
A summer departure failed to materialise, but Pereira has not ruled out the possibility of leaving the West London club in 2025.

Pereira admitted he would like to work with Marseille manager De Zerbi after he spoke to the former Brighton & Hove Albion boss during the summer transfer window.

"It would be really cool [to go to Marseille], given the way De Zerbi plays football," Pereira added. "I was looking at it positively, but we'll see now in January or at the end of the season if there will be a transfer or if I'll stay at Fulham."

Pereira's current Fulham contract runs until the summer of 2026, although the club have the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

Fulham reportedly placed a £35m valuation on the Brazil international in the summer and it remains to be seen whether they will demand a similar asking price in the new year.

Pereira remains a regular fixture in Marco Silva's side, having started all 12 of Fulham's Premier League matches this season, helping the club pick up 18 points to leave them in ninth position in the standings.

The 28-year-old is expected to feature in the middle of the park when Fulham face Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's away clash.

Tottenham: Ange Postecoglou confirms Dominic Solanke fitness boost amid Spurs injury gloom
Spurs striker was in discomfort during Thursday's 2-2 draw against Roma in the Europa League

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says Dominic Solanke is "fine" after a knock and expects to have the striker available for selection against Fulham this weekend.

The striker looked to be in some discomfort following a second-half challenge from veteran defender Mats Hummels during Thursday night's entertaining 2-2 draw with Roma in the Europa League.

Though Solanke was able to complete the full 90 minutes in north London, his fitness was a topic raised ahead of Sunday's London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Postecoglou delivered a positive update.

"Yeah, he's fine," the Spurs boss said of Solanke when told it looked like he had hurt his groin against Roma. "He's a bit sore but we're obviously really thin squad-wise, especially in that front third, so he's working hard for us. At this stage nothing that's too significant."

Having Solanke fit will no doubt be a major boost for Postecoglou as his options across the forward line are currently limited as it is with Richarlison, Wilson Odobert and Mikey Moore all sidelined.

Since arriving from Bournemouth in the summer, Solanke has featured in all but two games across all competitions so far this season, weighing in with six goals and contributing a further three assists.

Arguably his best performance in a Spurs shirt to date came in the recent home game against Aston Villa, where he netted a brace in a 4-1 victory.

History suggests that Solanke enjoys playing against Fulham as he's scored five times against them in seven appearances - his second-best return against any club - and may fancy his chances of notching another after the Cottagers shipped four at home to Wolves last weekend.

While Solanke is likely to be fit for the London derby, Postecoglou looks set to be without vice-captain Cristian Romero once again.

Pre-Spurs Press Conference
Marco Silva has called on his Fulham team to show courage when they take on the Premier League's most prolific side on Sunday.

After putting four past the champions last week, Tottenham Hotspur have now scored 27 goals this season – three more than league leaders Liverpool.

"I think their identity is clear," Silva said. "It's clear what Ange [Postecoglou] wants from the players. We understand enough from playing against them last season the way they play.

"They added one or two players last summer for the way they want to play, adding even more pace in the attack line, and more intensity in the first press as well. They have a striker [Dominic Solanke] that has the capacity to be really strong in the first press.

"It's clear, the identity, the way they want to play, looking always for the opposition goal, and trying always to create chances, create a scenario that when they build up, they put a lot of players in front of the ball, a lot of bodies between the lines as well.

"They have the capacity to create different scenarios and different problems for the opposition side. We know what they are going to do, of course we are aware of it, it's up to us to keep our organisation really strong, and quality in our defensive organisation.

"And it's a game where we have to be brave, brave like we normally are against any team, and we have to go there to be brave enough to challenge them and to match them, to fight for the three points.

"If you fear something, if you aren't brave enough, if we don't express ourselves on the pitch, it's going to be much more difficult.

"We are going to be Fulham Football Club inside the Tottenham stadium, and it's definitely going to be a good game, because we are capable of doing good things and facing a team of the quality of Tottenham."

Team News: Joa set for spell out
Fulham will head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with just two fit centre-halves on Sunday.

Joachim Andersen's absence will come as little surprise after his enforced withdrawal from the Wolves defeat, but he's since been joined in the treatment room by Jorge Cuenca.

Injury may also deny Ryan Sessegnon a return to Spurs, while Harrison Reed was already out.

"Joachim is one of the players who is going to be out," Marco Silva confirmed. "Jorge Cuenca as well. Jorge got a knock during the week, and is going to be out of the game, too.

"Harrison Reed, as you know, as well. Ryan Sessegnon is still doubtful for the game. We have these four situations, these four players. Apart from that, all the others are going to be available."

When asked if he was able to put timeframes on any recoveries, Silva said: "Jorge I think is going to be quicker than Joachim. Joachim is going to be out for some games.

"It's difficult to sit here and be clear about the timeline, when he's going to be ready, but it's going to be the next few games."

Marco Silva makes 'brave' demand as Fulham boss confirms injury blow before Tottenham clash
Cottagers looking to bounce back from last weekend's 4-1 loss to Wolves

Marco Silva has called for Fulham to be "brave" if they want to win away at Tottenham in the Premier League.

The Cottagers will look to bounce back from last week's humbling 4-1 home defeat to Wolves which ended a run of two straight victories for the west London club.

Spurs, who powered to a dominant 4-0 win at Manchester City last weekend, will be difficult opponents in the eyes of the Fulham boss.

Silva told reporters on Friday: "We have to be brave (against Spurs) to challenge them and to fight for the three points.

"We will enjoy the challenge. If you fear something and don't express ourselves, it's going to be more difficult.

"Last week was difficult to take. We want to reach certain standards. We had a bad game, we have to bounce back. That game shouldn't take away from the good things we have been doing."

Silva will be without summer signing Joachim Andersen for their trip to north London after the centre-back was substituted with an injury during last week's defeat.

The Portuguese boss revealed the Dane, who Fulham signed from Crystal Palace for a reported £30million, will be missing over the next few matches.

"Andersen is out. (Jorge) Cuenca is out too," he added.

"He got a knock during the week. (Harrison) Reed is out and (Ryan) Sessegnon is a doubt.

"Andersen is going to be out for the next few games."

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Fulham: Head-to-head record and past meetings
Fulham can earn a slice of club history when they make the trek across the capital to clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Cottagers are capable of going unbeaten in eight successive Premier League London derbies for the first time ever, but they were slaughtered 4-1 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Meanwhile, Spurs have lost seven of their 16 Premier League London derbies under the wing of Ange Postecoglou, and the Lilywhites return to domestic duty after conceding a last-gasp equaliser in Thursday's 2-2 Europa League draw with Roma.

Here, Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at the head-to-head record and previous meetings between the two sides.

Head-to-head record
Previous meetings: 105
Spurs wins: 55
Draws: 30
Fulham wins: 20

A satisfying head-to-head record to look at - at least until Sunday's fixture is done and dusted - the previous meetings, Tottenham Hotspur wins, Fulham wins and draws columns are all multiples of fives after 105 competitive clashes.

Tottenham unsurprisingly boast the most successes with 55 under their belts, while Fulham have only beaten the Lilywhites 20 times down the years, and another 30 encounters have ended all square - including their maiden meeting in the Southern League in 1903.

One of those 20 Fulham victories came as recently as March 2024, though, as Marco Silva masterminded a terrific 3-0 triumph over Tottenham in the top flight, the second of three Cottagers wins during Ange Postecoglou's debut campaign.

That routine victory marked a second straight home win for the Cottagers over Spurs, who also fell to their foes' superiority on penalties in the second round of that year's EFL Cup, although they came up trumps 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in October 2023.

Developing a penchant for home victories in this particular London derby, Tottenham have beaten Fulham four times in their last five matches at their headquarters, and they have not suffered defeat to the Cottagers on their own patch since a Dimitar Berbatov-inflicted 1-0 loss at White Hart Lane in 2013.

In fact, between December 2013 and January 2023, Tottenham won eight of their nine matches with Fulham in all competitions, the one minor aberration being a 1-1 top-flight stalemate at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January 2021.

Away from the Premier League, one of Fulham's most emphatic victories over Tottenham came in an FA Cup fourth-round tie in January 2011, where Mark Hughes led the Cottagers to a 4-0 thumping of Harry Redknapp's side.

Lilywhites legends also dominate the individual scoring records in this fixture, as Cliff Jones scored an unrivalled 13 goals in clashes between Spurs and Fulham, while Harry Kane and Jimmy Greaves both netted eight apiece.

Fulham boss Silva confirms Andersen injury blow
Fulham defender Joachim Andersen faces a spell on the sidelines, boss Marco Silva has confirmed.

Andersen went off injured during the recent 4-1 home defeat by Wolves and will miss this weekend's match against Tottenham along with Jorge Cuenca.

"Joachim will be out for some games, Jorge will be back sooner," said Silva.

Silva insisted Fulham will be "ambitious" but "realistic" against Spurs, who beat champions Manchester City 4-0 last weekend.

"One thing I am not going to do is not be realistic," he said.

"We are talking about one one the teams that everybody talks as one of the top six in this country.

"The key for you improve and move forward and go over your ambitions – the first thing is to be realistic and to understand the reality of the football club.

"But it is a football match and the best team is going to win – and then you have to show something and be ambitious and brave enough to fight for a result."

Fulham star hailed as national hero and 'first world footballer' – Overcome doubts to shine again
Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez's return this season has delighted everyone, with numerous comments and analysis already on the matter so far.

Today it's the turn of ESPN and 'Digital Analyst' Rafa Ramos, who is full of praise for the Fulham star and the manner in which he's battled back from the traumatic head injury he suffered playing for Wolves four years go.

He says Jiménez 'still stands as a first-world footballer' and, four years on from 'still howls over the shadow of his tragedy'.

According to him the Fulham striker has transformed the 'bad omens' from that into 'generous hopes' that have allowed the 'Wolf of Tepeji' to howl louder.

He is flying high at this moment in time and his decision to continue playing football, completely against medical advice, has been richly rewarded.

Ramos says the 33-year-old has 'crossed the fortuitous bridge of the resurrection' in life and on the pitch, conquering a fear of death and finding his love for life strengthened. He 'decided to take risks' when he returned to playing, choosing the 'freshness of a new breath of life' over the 'lascivious kiss of death'.

As a result, he's enjoying his football more than even, starring for Fulham and securing his return to the Mexican national team as well. The latter saw 'stadiums packed with Mexicans' to celebrate that return and the superb display he put on for them in the win over the USA.

In fact, Ramos believes the Fulham star is the one Mexican player who 'sublimates the concept of resilience as a nationalist seal'. In other words, he's now a bit of a Mexican icon.

He may even be the most resilient Mexican footballer of all time, surpassing Hugo Sánchez and the trials he endured at Atlético de Madrid.

That's because the Wolf of Tepeji has overcome his own doubts, his family's doubts and the 'fearful diagnoses' of the doctors to ignore a universe that wanted to paralyse him and instead kept walking.

The shadow of that tragedy has now been 'extinguished' says Ramos and now Jiménez 'howls louder than ever' before.

Semih Kilicsoy open to Premier League move amid emerging links
Semih Kiliscoy has boosted the prospects of Aston Villa, Fulham, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur, as the 19-year-old is open to moving to the Premier League.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Semih Kilicsoy is the subject of several well-known Premier League clubs. Aston Villa, Fulham, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Besiktas prodigy. The 19-year-old has boosted the prospects of those English clubs as he is open to sealing a move to the Premier League.

The rise of Semih Kilicsoy
Semih Kilicsoy has gone from strength to strength since joining Besiktas JK from Arnavutköy Yayla Spor in 2016. The Turk progressed through the ranks at the Super Lig club before breaking into the first-team squad midway through the 2022/23 season.

The 19-year-old has been solid in the first few weeks of the 2024/25 campaign, providing three assists in seven appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, Kilicsoy's progress at Besiktas JK has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe, including Ason Villa, Fulham, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

A man in demand
The Turkish international has been on Aston Villa's radar for a long time. The West Midlands club mulled over signing the Besiktas prodigy in the summer transfer window before the deal failed to see the light of day. However, Kilicsoy remains a target for Aston Villa, although they face stiff competition from Fulham.

Fulham's interest in Semih Kilicsoy is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market for a versatile attacker, with the Besiktas wonderkid emerging as a target. Meanwhile, Newcastle United will likely part ways with Miguel Almiron next year, thus creating the need for a new wide attacker. Kilicsoy is thus an option worth considering for Newcastle United.

As for Tottenham Hotspur, the North London giants are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing the Turk. Richarlison faces an uncertain future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after struggling to stamp his authority at the club. Kilicsoy has now boosted the Premier League clubs' prospects, as he is ready to join an English top-flight outfit.

While Aston Villa, Fulham, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur will face stiff competition from foreign clubs, they will fancy their prospects, considering the 19-year-old Turkish prodigy is open to joining a Premier League side.

Fulham U21 2-1 Leeds U21

Fulham Under-21s made it four wins on the spin with a comeback victory against Leeds United at Motspur Park.

It was a frustrating start for our Young Whites who went behind after just five minutes, but we were dominant from that moment onwards. Callum Osmand bagged a brace in the second period, equalising just after the interval with a stunning individual goal, before completing the turnaround in the 73rd minute.

However, it was a nightmare start at Motspur Park as Josh McDonald latched onto Sam Chambers' pass and calmly dinked the ball over Alex Borto.

Terrell Works was on the hunt for a goal in his third consecutive game and he danced through the Leeds defence, showing twinkle toes to beat several opposition players, but he couldn't get a shot away.

The finest of margins denied us from levelling the match on 13 minutes as Aaron Loupalo-Bi made his way to the byline, pulling the ball back for Kristian Šekularac, who saw his shot deflect agonisingly wide of the post.

Our Young Whites must have thought their luck was out when Chris Donnell's thumping header rattled the crossbar following a deep Šekularac free-kick.

The Switzerland youth international was putting in some wicked deliveries from dead ball situations, with his corner looping over the head of Leeds 'keeper Rory Mahady, but Eddy Nsasi couldn't make contact after sneaking around the back unnoticed.

Hayden Mullins' side maintained their dominance until the end of the half as Osmand looked to whip a strike into the far corner from 18 yards, only for Dan Toulson to get in the way of the shot.

Osmand then dragged an effort narrowly wide from a similar position, but the final chance of the half fell to the visitors.

Borto was at full stretch to tip wide Rhys Chadwick's low free-kick, which took a deflection on its way through.

The chances continued to fall into the second period. Just three minutes after the restart, Works forced Mahady into a save, with the rebound falling at the feet of Loupalo-Bi, who somehow missed the target from ten yards.

But patience was key in this game and our route back into the game came through Osmand. The forward shifted the ball onto his right foot on the edge of the box and arrowed a powerful strike past Mahady.

Loupalo-Bi then tried his luck from range after driving through the middle of the pitch, but his left-footed shot was too high.

Osmand grabbed his second of the game in the 73rd minute, meeting Loupalo-Bi's pinpoint cutback before firing first time into the back of the net.

At the other end, the side netting denied McDonald his brace as he shot wide from a tight angle.

The visitors ended the contest with 10-men as Rhys Chadwick received a second yellow after getting involved in an off-ball scuffle.

Our U21s are next in action on Tuesday 3rd December with a trip to Woking in the National League Cup, kick-off 7pm.

Fulham U21: Borto, Gofford, Nsasi, Park, Nwoko, Donnell, Sekularac, Osmand, Gordon, Works, Loupalo-Bi (Olyott 82')

Marco Silva reveals extent of Joachim Andersen injury blow ahead of Tottenham clash
Fulham boss Marco Silva has revealed that defender Joachim Andersen will miss Sunday's Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur due to injury.

The Cottagers are looking for a response after falling to a heavy 4-1 defeat in their recent home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Fulham's miserable outing was compounded when Andersen was forced off after Silva had used all five of his substitutes.

Unfortunately for Fulham, Silva has now revealed that Andersen will be absent for Sunday's trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the injury he suffered last weekend.

Silva confirms defensive injury blow
Silva also provided an update on three other members of the Fulham squad, including Andersen's fellow central defender Jorge Cuenca.

"Joachim is one of the players who is going to be out," Silva told reporters at Friday's pre-match press conference.

With Andersen and Cuenca unavailable for selection, Fulham will head into matchday 13 with Calvin Bassey and Issa Diop as their only two fit centre-backs.

How long will Andersen be out for?
Silva provided the unfortunate news that Andersen will be out for "some games" when he was asked about a potential timeframe for his recovery.

"Jorge I think is going to be quicker than Joachim," Silva added. "Joachim is going to be out for some games.

"It's difficult to sit here and be clear about the timeline, when he's going to be ready, but it's going to be the next few games."

Andersen's absence represents a significant blow given the fact the Dane has been a regular fixture since he returned to the club from Crystal Palace in the summer.

The Denmark international has started nine of Fulham's last 10 Premier League matches, missing a 1-1 draw with Everton on matchday nine due to suspension.

Paul Merson predicts who will win when Tottenham take on Fulham in the Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur will look to use their 4-0 win against Manchester City as a springboard as they host Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou's side played out a 2-2 draw against Roma in the UEFA Europa League but won't lose too much sleep over it as they are still well-placed to make it through to the knockouts.

In terms of their Premier League prospects, though, they need to keep racking up the wins to move into the top four as they are currently three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

They face Fulham next, who are just a point below them in the standings.

And Paul Merson feels Tottenham's inconsistency will come to the fore once again when the two sides lock horns in North London.

Paul Merson predicts Fulham to beat Tottenham
While Tottenham are on a bit of a high after their win against Manchester City, Fulham suffered a hammering at the hands of Wolves last weekend as they lost 4-1.

Despite the result, Merson feels Marco Silva's side can go toe-to-toe with Tottenham, adding that they weren't as bad as the scoreline suggested last weekend.

As for Tottenham, the Arsenal legend feels it's always one step forward and two steps back for them as he predicted them to suffer a shock 2-1 defeat in front of their home fans.

"Despite Tottenham beating Manchester City 4-0 and Fulham losing 4-1 to Wolves, it wouldn't surprise me if Spurs drop points in this game," wrote Merson in his column for Sportskeeda.

"That is how this club works. Tottenham can either wipe the floor with teams or comfortably get beat. Remember it was only two weeks ago they lost 2-1 to an Ipswich side that had not won until then.

"I reckon this will be a tough game for Spurs and I'm actually backing Fulham in this one.

"I don't think Fulham are as bad as the scoreline against Wolves suggests. They are a decent team and can upset any of the big boys in this division on their day. I have a feeling that will happen against Tottenham."

What does Tottenham's injury list look like?
In recent weeks, Spurs' injury list has grown, with Guglielmo Vicario the latest victim as he underwent ankle surgery earlier this week.

To make matters worse, Richarlison is not expected to play for Tottenham in 2024, with his hamstring injury reportedly worse than what was expected.

Nevertheless, Postecoglou has most of his bigger hitters fit and will look to take it game by game as they head into the busy festive run-in.

Fulham star reveals 'really cool' transfer fell through amid Forest 'offer': 'I was looking forward to it'
Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira says he was "looking forward" to joining French giants Marseille from the Cottagers before a deal fell through.

Pereira joined Fulham from Manchester United for around £8million in July 2022 and has made 94 appearances for them, scoring nine times.

He has adapted his game to play a little deeper this term following the summer sale of Joao Palhinha but has still been a key creative player under Marco Silva.

It has been revealed that Silva almost lost the Brazilian in the summer transfer window, however.

Pereira says Marseille held talks with him, while Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest also made an "offer".

The 28-year-old says it is 'unfortunate' that he could not move to Marseille from Fulham, which would have been a "really cool" move for him.

"From outside [England], there was an offer from Marseille, we talked, and unfortunately it didn't work out," Pereira said.

"In the last few days [of the transfer window], there was also an offer from Nottingham Forest. Those were the clubs that came closest to signing [me], but there was a lot of interest.

"Since I was on vacation, I was in more contact with him [agent, Giuliano Bertolucci]. But he always lets me know.

"He tells me, 'Look, there's a club interested, let's see what happens.'"

He added: "It would be really cool [to go to Marseille] because of the way [Roberto] De Zerbi plays football.

"I was looking forward to it, but we'll see now in January or at the end of the season if there will be a transfer or if I'll stay at Fulham.

"Sometimes, I see something and I go excitedly to talk to him [Bertolucci], 'Is this happening and you don't know about it?' And he says no. I think, 'Wow, it's complicated.'"

Fulham face Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday and head coach Silva thinks his side can bounce back after being thrashed at home by Wolves last weekend.

"We have bounce-back mentality," he said. "Of course the next one is always important. It's important to analyse and be clear with the message to players to make them understand deeply what happened in the game.
