He just seems so brain dead as a player...

I bet Chelsea are wondering if they can cancel his £100kpw 7 year contract!

Not sure what happened to this player.  When he first started playing in the PL, I thought he was gonna be a huge star.  But it has never really materialized.  Lots of potential still?  IDK.
Anyway, positive drug tests are not ideal....

The drug found in his system is called Meldonium is principally used for heart conditions, such as angina, heart attack, heart failure.

Meldonium was banned in 2017 as it can increase endurance, improve recovery following exercise, and enhance the central nervous system. Meldonium may also provide cognitive advantages.

Its only produced in eastern Europe and has been found in many Russian and other Eastern Europeans sports peoples samples including Russian tennis player Sharapova who was banned for 2 years.

Mudryk, as all doping accused says he is bewildered and confident he can prove his innocence, err as Sharapova did.
Right!

Well if it provides cognitive advantages then surely he must be innocent of taking it?

Unfortunate that he is beyond ordinary as a player or people on this board might be seeing his acquisition at a knock-down price as the solution to our 'striker problem.'

There is a thread on this board of people who think we could get Rashford... so im sure we 1000000% can get Mudryk  :Khan_you_fix_it:

There is a much higher chance we could get Mudryk than Rashford. That said, we should have 0% interest in either.

This echoes the case of former Walham Green favourite Adrian Mutu who in 2005 was tested positive for cocaine.  He was sacked and ordered to pay £15,000,000 compensation, the bulk of his transfer fee.  Not sure he ever paid up!

The thing about Rashford is that ManU will supposedly make financial adjustments to make it more palatable for someone to pick up this offload.  I guess it all depends on how much they are willing to contribute to get rid of this unwanted player.

In both of these players' cases, I think a change of scenery is needed along with a proper coach.

It's too bad. I remember watching him for Shaktar and Ukraine and thinking he looked a fantastic winger.
