Liverpool have 'minimal' interest in £40m Man Utd left-back target
Liverpool have long been linked with Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson, but the Reds are said to have 'minimal' interest for one reason.

Robinson has been the stand-out left-back in the Premier League this season and has logged seven assists.

With Andy Robertson's career on the descent, Liverpool – who top the Premier League table – are being linked with an alternative.

Despite persistent links with Robinson, it has emerged in recent days that United are far more interested in a player who would cost around £40m.

It is said that Ruben Amorim believes Robinson – as impressive going forward as he is in defence – would be a perfect fit for his 3-4-2-1 formation.

They are far more likely to make a move for the 27-year-old Robinson than Liverpool, with Mark Ogden of ESPN saying: "So, Robinson's name has been attached to Liverpool quite a bit. But I've been told on more than one occasion that Liverpool have minimal interest in Robinson.

"It's not because they don't think he's a good player. "It's more the fact that he's 27. He's not their age profile. Liverpool don't sign players for the long-term who are 27-years-old.

"The name that has been put to me is Milos Kerkez at Bournemouth. He would fit the profile much better than Antonee Robinson."

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy certainly agrees, saying: "If I had to choose I'd go Alphonso Davies. I think he's got the potential to be one of the best left-backs in the world.

"Obviously Alphonso Davies is a difficult one because he's rumoured to be going elsewhere.

"I think one of the other two (Antonee Robinson and Milos Kerkez) would be really good competition for Robertson and again with the amount of games they play, it's not like they wouldn't be getting game time.

"I really like Robinson at Fulham. I've watched him a lot and I think he's a powerhouse of a left-back and he doesn't really fit the criteria in terms of age, value for selling on later if that was the case for Liverpool to go for a player of that age.

"Kerkez is a bit younger. Another great overlapping full-back who could learn from Robertson and maybe get minutes in other competitions. So that would probably be more realistic.

"What we know about the Liverpool recruitment team is that they are really good at finding diamonds in the rough. People who we don't always hear of or who are not obvious choices but then become established players. The names mentioned are terrific players and I do think Robertson needs competition."

Ligue 1 Club to Reignite £20m Interest in January Move for Fulham Star – Report
Fulham's Dilemma: The Persistent Pursuit of Pereira by Marseille

The relentless chase for Andreas Pereira by Marseille continues to be a source of anxiety for Fulham. Last summer's rebuffed £20 million offer by the French club has only intensified their determination, as The Times recently reported. With Pereira having just 18 months left on his contract at Fulham, the situation is increasingly precarious for the London club.

Pereira's connection with Marseille's head coach, Roberto De Zerbi, has been well-documented, stirring speculation about his potential departure from the Premier League. His recent statements about a previous connection with De Zerbi, coupled with being left out of a crucial match against Tottenham due to "technical" reasons as stated by Fulham's head coach Marco Silva, has only fuelled the transfer rumours.

Pereira's Impact at Fulham
Since his move from Manchester United to Fulham in 2022 for around £10 million, Pereira has been pivotal in Fulham's commendable performance this season. His recent contributions, including a goal against Liverpool and an assist against Bournemouth, highlight his critical role in the team's attack. Fulham's need to retain his services is further amplified by the potential departures of Raúl Jiménez and Adama Traoré, both key forwards whose contracts expire this summer.

Marseille's Strategic Recruitment
Marseille, under De Zerbi's leadership, has been strategic in bolstering their squad to challenge the dominance of Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. The acquisitions of Mason Greenwood, Elye Wahi, Ismaël Koné, and Adrien Rabiot, along with the sales of Ismaïla Sarr and Mattéo Guendouzi, demonstrate a calculated approach to team building and financial balance. This methodical strengthening makes their interest in Pereira, a proven Premier League talent, a logical step in their ongoing campaign to enhance their squad.

Fulham's Strategic Considerations
Fulham's reluctance to part ways with Pereira is understandable. Positioned just three points from a coveted European competition spot, the club's management is reportedly looking to strengthen rather than diminish its squad capabilities. The interest in Brighton & Hove Albion's Evan Ferguson, however, complicates Fulham's strategy as they face competition from other European hopefuls, including West Ham United.

Our View – EPL Index Analysis
As a Fulham supporter, the thought of losing Andreas Pereira amidst our push for a European spot is deeply unsettling. Pereira has not only shown his class on the field but has become a pivotal figure in the dressing room. His leadership and experience are irreplaceable components that have steered the team through this season's challenges.

The club's position near the top of the league and the potential loss of other key players only heightens the anxiety surrounding his possible departure. While the interest from Marseille is a testament to his skill and impact, it is crucial that Fulham do everything in their power to ensure he remains at Craven Cottage. Retaining his services could be the difference between a successful season with European football and a missed opportunity that could take years to rekindle.

In conclusion, Fulham must navigate this delicate situation with both determination and tact. Keeping Pereira could send a strong message about the club's ambitions and stability, vital for attracting and retaining top talent in future transfer windows.

Fulham, West Ham United in three-way battle to sign Will Hughes
Crystal Palace midfielder Will Hughes has been linked with a move away from the South London club in recent months.

According to a report by Football Insider, Fulham and West Ham United are keen on securing the signature of Will Hughes. However, the two London clubs will face competition from fellow Premier League outfit Brentford for the Crystal Palace midfielder.

The 29-year-old midfielder has done quite well at Selhurst Park, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Fulham and West Ham United.

Fulham could certainly use more quality and depth in their midfield unit. The 29-year-old will add creativity, technical ability and composure to the side. His ability to dictate the tempo of the game and create goalscoring opportunities could come in handy.

Fulham and West Ham could use Will Hughes
Fulham have put together a talented squad, and they will look to improve further in the coming months. A couple of quality additions could really help them push for European qualification in the near future.

Will Hughes could be tempted to join the Cottagers as well, and it remains to be seen whether Fulham come forward with an official offer to sign him. As far as West Ham are concerned, they need more quality in the midfield, and the 29-year-old could be the ideal acquisition for them.

Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta is expected to leave the club in the near future, and Hughes could be his replacement. The 29-year-old is well-settled in English football, and he could hit the ground running at Fulham or West Ham. It will be interesting to see which of the two London clubs manage to get the deal done.

If West Ham can sign him for a reasonable price, the deal could look like a masterstroke. The 29-year-old will be out of contract at Crystal Palace at the end of the season, and he is likely to be available for a nominal price this month.

Alternatively, the 29-year-old could join either of the London clubs on a free transfer at the end of the season. The Crystal Palace midfielder is at the peak of his powers, and he could transform both teams in the midfield.

Fulham eyeing move to sign Premier League "leader" who may replace Pereira
With rumours regarding Andreas Pereira's potential exit not going away, Fulham have now reportedly set their sights on signing an in-demand Premier League midfielder for Marco Silva.

Fulham transfer news
The Cottagers remain one of the most exciting sides to watch in the Premier League. No longer a side scrapping away in the battle to avoid relegation, Fulham have once again become an established top-flight side under Silva - who is doing an excellent job. His side's recent success may not come without its consequences, however. In fact, they could fall victim to their own success.

With the January transfer window now open, Fulham are reportedly fearful that Marseille could reignite their interest in Pereira and secure the Brazilian's signature this month. And they're not the only club reportedly interested. Recent reports have indicated that Brazilian club Fluminense are progressing in talks to sign the midfielder in what would be a major blow this month.

It seems as though that fear has led them straight to a potential replacement too. According to Football Insider, Fulham are now eyeing a move to sign Will Hughes in what could come at no cost at all if he leaves Crystal Palace as a free agent at the end of the season.

The London club aren't the only side interested, however, with West Ham United and local rivals Brentford also keeping an eye on the situation. A player with plenty of experience in the top flight, the interest in Hughes' signature should come as no surprise.

From a business standpoint, selling Pereira for an impressive fee and welcoming a possible replacement in the summer without having to splash out, themselves, could represent a shrewd move for all involved at Fulham.

"Leader" Hughes could seamlessly replace Pereira
More combative than the elegant Pereira, Hughes would step straight in to replace the Brazilian at Craven Cottage and sit next to both Alex Iwobi and Sasa Lukic. Forming a tireless midfield three, Silva's side could even benefit from swapping the old for the new all whilst wisely cashing in.

Premier League stats 24/25 (via FBref)  Will Hughes    Andreas Pereira
Goals  0    2
Assists  3    1
Tackles Won  21    4
Ball Recoveries  66    62

Also able to create whilst completing impressive work off the ball, it's no surprise that Hughes has been at the centre of Oliver Glasner's praise throughout his Crystal Palace tenure.

The Palace manager told reporters as relayed by Tribal Football last month: "Will Hughes not just a performer, he's also a leader in the dressing room. He's an experienced guy, an English guy, he's been here for several years, he knows the club, he knows his teammates, and of course he's an outstanding good football player.

"His passing, his fighting spirit, and he's one of the few players, maybe a little bit old generation, who is talking on the pitch. Every manager is looking for some guys who are talking on the pitch, he's one of them, so he's very important for our game."

Crystal Palace do have the option to extend Hughes' Selhurst Park deal, but if they don't, Fulham could be in a position to pounce in a cheap transfer.

West Ham and Fulham handed 'major transfer boost' as £20m-rated Man City starlet eyes January switch
The Manchester City midfielder spent last season on loan at Sheffield United.

West Ham and Fulham-linked midfielder James McAtee is reportedly open to a January transfer away from Manchester City, as he seeks regular first team football.

McAtee, 22, has struggled to break into Pep Guardiola's side on a regular basis, making just three Premier League appearances this season. According to Football Insider, his stance is a major boost to Fulham and West Ham as they have been linked to signing him, should City give McAtee the green light to leave.

A January loan move seems more likely for the 22-year-old, which would help to provide him with valuable first team experience. The report suggests that Scottish Premier League side Celtic also hold an interest in McAtee, however, a move to a fellow Premier League team is the midfielder's main priority.

It wouldn't be the City man's first loan move to a Premier League side, as he spent last season with Sheffield United, making 30 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists. It was McAtee's second loan spell at Bramall Lane, but after their relegation, it now seems that he is seeking a move elsewhere in the top division.

Fulham set to add attacking talent in January transfer window
Marco Silva's side have had a good first half of the season, they sit eighth in the Premier League, six points off the Champions League places.

McAtee likes to play an attacking role in midfield, and he could help bolster Fulham's goalscoring prospects and give them an outside chance of European football.

Furthermore, Fulham have been linked to Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, who has also been linked to London rivals Chelsea. They would likely add Ferguson on a loan deal similar to any deal for McAtee. As striker Raul Jimenez is in the last year of his contract, the Cottagers are looking for a new long-term striker option, which Ferguson could help to provide.

West Ham looking for Jarrod Bowen replacement
For all that has gone well for Fulham this season, it hasn't quite been as positive for the Hammers, who sit 13th in the league table.

They are one of the lower-scoring teams in the division, and it has just got worse for Julen Lopetegui. Star winger Jarrod Bowen suffered a fractured foot during West Ham's 5-0 defeat against Liverpool.

The Hammers may now decide to sign attacking talent in January in order to replace the England international, who has scored five goals and contributed four assists in the Premier League this season.

McAtee could help fill the void that has been left by Bowen, who was playing either on the wing or in the middle at the London Stadium. He is set to be out injured for at least a month, and maybe significantly longer.

Fulham handed Liverpool transfer boost as Man Utd 'prepared' to take £30m loss
All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League as another big weekend approaches.

The Premier League festive fixtures are now over and done with, and we have a normal round of fixtures across this weekend ahead of the FA Cup taking centre stage. Among the fixtures are Tottenham's home clash with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace's home date with Chelsea.

Elsewhere. Brentford head to Southampton, West Ham head to Manchester City, Arsenal take on Brighton away from home and Fulham welcome Ipswich Town. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the top flight.

Hughes interest
West Ham are said to be interested in a surprise move for Crystal Palace creative spark Will Hughes. According to Football Insider, the Hammers are considering a move for the midfielder, with Brentford and Fulham also said to be keeping an eye on the situation.

Hughes is out of contract next summer, but crucially, Palace have the option of extending the deal by another 12 months. That will keep the Eagles relaxed as interest around the capital builds.

Robinson boost
There is some good news for Fulham amid reported interest in star full-back Antonee Robinson. Manchester United are said to be interested, while Liverpool have also been tipped to make a move.

But according to ESPN, Liverpool's interest in Robinson is 'minimal'. That may not be the case for United, but Fulham will have been more worried about the Liverpool situation, given the Reds are a more attractive destination currently. Robinson is under contract until 2028 as things stand.

Casemiro interest
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is reportedly drawing interest from the Saudi Pro League despite struggling for form this season, leading to reduced opportunities.

Al-Nassr are said to be interested in a move for the veteran midfielder, and according to The Boot Room, the Red Devils will accept around half of what they paid for Casemiro, meaning he could be available for just £30million.

Arsenal, Fulham and Nottingham Forest keen to sign same player – Club director encourages PL move
Arsenal, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are chasing Feyenoord star Santiago Giménez, according to claims from Mexico.

Nottingham Forest made an offer last summer, but the striker rejected it to continue at the Eredivisie side.

Nuno Espírito Santo's side are still in the picture and are joined by Arsenal and Fulham to sign Giménez.

Journalist Julio Rodríguez discusses the Gunners' interest, while another journalist, Oscar Mendoza, reports about Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

Rodríguez says Arsenal and AC Milan are looking to sign the 23-year-old, and the Premier League could be his next destination. He further adds Mikel Arteta's side are the 'most interested' club to sign him.

According to Mendoza, the Reds and Marco Silva's side are after the Mexico international. He claims to have found out from Nottingham Forest that they are looking to sign a new striker in January.

Nuno Espírito Santo currently has Chris Wood, Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis as the strikers at his disposal. Wood's contract expires in 2025 and his backup, Awoniyi, has struggled while the manager has left Dennis out of his core plans.

Therefore, Nottingham Forest are in the mix, along with Marco Silva's side, to sign the Feyenoord star. Mendoza adds Fulham's 'interest is real' but the finances could make it difficult for them to secure his services.

Meanwhile, Feyenoord director Dennis Te Kloese has encouraged Giménez to move to the Premier League.

"A good next step. I think there are many teams in England that play a very dynamic and offensive soccer that favours him a lot, there are leagues like Italy that focus a lot on results and defending, it is not impossible for him to play there, but obviously the opportunities are scarce," he told TUDN.
