Joachim Andersen's transfer: Fulham has completed a £30 million deal for the Crystal Palace defender last summer.
I've always appreciated Andersen's abilities, having first seen him play for the Denmark national team in 2022. While some may argue that Diop had a more impressive season, I believe Diop is just beginning to tap into his potential, whereas Andersen has already made a name for himself However, I've noticed that Andersen tends to struggle against younger, faster forwards. He holds his own against older players like the 38-year-old Vardy, but when it comes to younger, quick strikers, he seems to fall short in speed. Personally, I think 28-year-old Andersen is doing well, but I really like Manchester City's moves, like signing 19-year-old Vitor Reis for £29.5 million and 20-year-old Khusanov for £33.5 million.
What are your thoughts on him? Did Fulham attempt to sign him from Lyon after his loan in 2021? Diop or Andersen moving forward? As always thanks for your time!
