It's going to bad on Sunday. Am generally not a fan of violence at football matches but I do think it's mad how brazen some of these fans get. I wouldn't be against a little less tolerance, this isn't the rugby
Also, I wonder sometimes, if these people are such massive fans that they physically CAN'T sit on their hands and keep quiet, why aren't they season ticket holders? Why can't they just get an away ticket?
It's funny because man utd and liverpool fans have been doing this to everyone else for years.

There was an advert in the Metro on Friday for our match v Manure as tickets were still available. Embarrassing and dangerous.
When people are removed the clubs often state they will investigate were the tickets originated from and take action.
Apart from excluding the away fans on the day I wonder how often proper action actually occur?

I know a few Rangers fans who were in the home end at OT. They're smart and respectful enough to sit on their hands, but the same can't be said for some of their fan base. Rangers fans in the home stands celebrated the goal, and plenty of them were singing Rangers songs during the game as well.
Celtic are playing Villa next week in Birmingham, so it'll probably be more of the same.
The Man United game is sold out now, and it's highly likely that Man United fans bought the last few hundred tickets in the Riverside stand. The Liverpool game in April will be even worse, especially if they're wrapping up the league at that point. That game will be like a CL final for them. They'll move heaven and earth to get in.

You can't be suggesting that Liverpool fans would do anything underhand to get into Craven Cottage, perhaps ticketless? Liverpool fans are such strong advocates of safety inside grounds that you can't imagine them doing anything outside the rules.....
I've heard of quite a few fans who picked up season tickets at Fulham as there were cheap and would sell them on unless it was the team say support playing, can make your money back easily
With the inflated Riverside prices tomorrow, I imagine the gate receipts will be between 2 & 3 million £. Crazy figures to me but small fry by modern standards I guess.

I read somewhere today that the PL gives clubs (not sure if home and away) something over £930k for being televised.
I would rather see empty seats than Away fans in our home areas. Would be a kick up the backside for the club if a huge fight broke out in a home area, I can't see that happening in the riverside though as the Fulham supporters in their will just sit on their hands.

The problem is is that sometimes the stewards decide its better to leave away fans where they are than try and remove them.

I suspect FFC fans will be a minority group in the Upper Riverside today.
Surely stewards can just tell any away fans in the home sections of the ground, "Come quietly with me or noisily (be arrested) with/by the Police" 🤷🏻

Supporters can mix without issue before and after the game. Sadly with the polarized world we are living in this will become increasingly rare. I personally do not want to sit next to away supporters or risk the chance of being outnumbered by opposing supporters wherever I sit. If all games were on general sale we would be outnumbered every time we played a big team at home, where is the fun in that.
