Looks like an attack minded team. Still prefer to see Lukic in the midfield. Wilson King and Bobb are all good players but somewhat lightweight. We need Muniz and Robinson to play up to their potential. Burnley have been sneaking points recently and we haven't scored for three games.

The midfield is not working for me (just like I thought it wouldn't when the teams were announced). There's no way Berge-Iwobi-King can win a midfield battle against pretty much any PL team.

I have been a Fulham fan since the Brian McBride days (2004) and in all that time, it seems Fulham always struggle against bottom table teams.

Don't know why that is. They seem to play to the level of competition, good or bad. No game is ever a sure win (like last year when they got destroyed by an inferior Wolverhampton 4-1).

I mean.. it's been okay. Roughly equal split of chances. Perhaps lucky to not be 1-0 down given penalty shout and the 6 yard header straight at Leno. Few half chances our end for the impressive Wilson.

I am disappointed with King and Bobb so far. Neither seem to be getting on the ball. Need to influence play more. I wonder if today is a good day for Cairney instead of King and push Iwobi further forward into Kings role.

He has had the ball and been unguarded numerous times and failed to take the shot.

It's low percentage position but at least maybe get a deflection or mishandle from the goalie. Sometimes you just got to take chances.

Castagna has to be one of the least enthusing players on our books but sadly he's a fairly solid RB at Prem level to plug a gap until Tete returns. Possible area to strengthen in the summer.

I think the first sub should be Bobb and King double sub at 60 mins. Both below average today.

Only 7 games remain and Burnley need to win at least 6 of them to have a chance of remaining in the premier league.

At least 2 of Lukic/TC/ESR should come on at half time. Maybe Chukwueze too.

I thought Wilson and Muniz were decent. Berge made some valuable defensive contributions. Back 4 has largely been fine, although Castagne has struggled a bit defensively, but he looked decent going forwards. Robinson's crossing is poor as usual. Leno has been fine.

Well, it wasn't quite as boring as I had expected (so far). We have actually played some nice, entertaining football, but it is was never gonna be easy against a Parkerball defence. Burnley on the other hand, have looked exactly as expected. Parker must be all over the moon with their lacklustre 0-0 performance!!! Parkerball at it's worst (or best, depending on how you look at it...).

King+Bobb are far too lightweight against Parkerball. We need to get Chuck and ESR on as soon as possible.

Andersen has been very poor IMO I would have preferred Diop for this game, but that's probably not gonna happen now.

Robinson has been a bit more lively than in recent games, but he's still showing his shortcomings: Gets into good positions and then it's Bambi on ice. If our ambitions are anything other than 0-0 or a narrow win/loss we need to bring on Sess. A bit more risky against counter attacks, but a far better chance of actually winning this IMO.

Muniz... Actually a good performance except the ONE thing a striker needs to do. He's hade several crucial defensive headers, one brilliant tackle, great hold-up play, but ultimately lacking the cutting edge in front of goal. I'm sure we will see Raul at some point, and I also have a feeling he will do EXACTLY what a striker needs to do against a tired Parkerball defence.

We shouldn't need a 6 at home to Burnley. That's why we are losing. Play 2 creative players that keep the ball. Berge plays sideways walking football and keeps giving it away.

Tbh irrespective of who the manager is, looking at our last 10 games where there's been maybe 90 mins of decent football across a number of games, some of the results are abysmal and the style of play is offensive. Until King equalised we'd not scored in 5 hours against some awful teams and a championship club, we should be demanding better and the manager doesn't seem to show any signs of life

Our tempo has increased two-fold because they scored.

Why? Why only after they scored?

We are much the better team, playing at home, easily safe from relegation. What's stopping us from giving it a go? No pressure at all..

I disagree - the tempo has been higher in the second half in general.  It then picked up when the subs came on - which is also right after their goal.  So there were three factors - halftime talk, goal, subs

We need another 4 wins (in addition to today) to finish 7th, possibly 3 wins and 1 draw for 8th. Where are we getting those?

Think we need to briefly mention Iwobi too. Last handful of games his passing has been very poor.
I like Iwobi. He's the thrusting midfielder we need.. but so disappointed by his passing in recent games. Hopefully he picks up next season.

Agreed. I think he needs a run at left wing where his poor passing won't matter as much and he might get a confidence boosting goal or two.

Flattering scoreline.
Biggest concern was lack of tempo for 60 minutes until they scored and the shackles seemed to come off. Question of delayed subs again by Silva *not for the first time* this season.

Anyway, after 65 minutes we went into third gear driven by MOTM Wilson (who I suspect will be off for bigger and better things in the summer).

Parker will probably lament their penalty shout in the first half and Jiminez's run up in our penalty.. but if he's being honest they couldn't convert their initial pressure into goals (sadly the hallmark of relegation sides, as we know all too well in the past).

I remain concerned by our form going into the final stretch and have very little expectation of a Europe spot as a result. I remain sceptical of Silva's decision making.. but I guess 3 points is 3 points, and we are now 8th in the league if you can believe it.

COYW..!

Says a lot. We came good at the end but they had too many chances. I know we have a good squad and I like Marco's style but I am so frustrated when we don't play to our potential. Personally I hope we don't qualify for Europe, so many teams have fallen away badly in the league when they compete in Europe without the depth of resources that the Manchester clubs and Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea have.
