Need a big win tonight... Everton's goal difference is getting bigger to ours so need to reign in it..

Especially with the bus stop drawing last night too.

Anyone else feeling nervous about tonight? I wasn't at all worried on Sunday facing Spurs but I have a horrible feeling we're going to lose...
Obviously hoping my fears come to nothing 🙏

I have assured them that we are reliably unreliable.

If that decision was correct under the laws of the games, the handball law is a joke.

I'd be fuming if that was not awarded as a penalty to Fulham at the other end

I don't think these changes have helped the fluidity, not a decent start from either winger and King can't get in the game. For those that bemoan ESR he's very good at actually getting us on the ball and having some control

Wilson's out with an ankle injury apparently. I hope it clears up well as he is no doubt a key player.

Marco said in an interview that Anderson had a bit of a fever but was not injured before Sunday's game. He's not on the team sheet tonight either.

But you can't have it both ways.

Last season Silva was criticised by many on here, myself included, for flogging the same or very similar starting XI week after week.

That was blamed as a major contributory factor to our season petering out yet again

Silva just can't win with some 🤷🏻♂️

Very young and raw but in moments like that last chance you see the clear talent there. It's a brilliant touch and go around the defender to create the chance for himself. Just needs to then ruthlessly smash it. Plenty to come from him
Title: Re: West Ham (H) Wednesday 04/03
Post by: Bassey the warrior on March 04, 2026, 08:23:24 PM
We've been fortunate with some of the decisions today, Iwobi could've been given as a pen and Robinson probably should've got a yellow. That last one wasn't a foul having watched it back.

We lack a bit of composure in the final third. On the bright side King has been excellent and nearly scored a cracker, Chukwueze also shown some quality at times, back four largely shut down their front four.

Post by: bencher on March 04, 2026, 08:24:16 PM
Pretty even game. We're not getting our passes right in the last third but there will be more opportunities if we can be a bit more incisive. Expect to see Bobb and ESR come on and possibly make the difference.

Strongly disagree, he's a superb talent with a great footballing brain. The only thing holding him back is his physique as he's easily out muscled, but that's something he can improve on and it will happen naturally as he gets older as well.

Poor first half. Robinson is a shadow of his former self. Chuck, King and Raul ineffective so far. West Ham are awful so we just need to move up a gear and grab the 3 points
Title: Re: West Ham (H) Wednesday 04/03
Post by: Matt10 on March 04, 2026, 08:26:16 PM
West Ham are a bit off the mark with two forwards that don't want to get into the box when the ball is on the wings. It's a bit strange. They must be anticipating the wingers to cut back in and are delaying their runs. I think we're going to run into issues once they start crossing the ball in because conditions are pretty slick with some heavy/clumsy touches so far.

Funny how people can see things so differently, I thought King and Chuck were our best players. Agree Robinson looks a bit sluggish, but he's still managed to shut down Bowen.

It's difficult. TC doesn't see him, so it obviously isn't a deliberate kick by TC,and their player doesn't get the ball really either, while clearly impeding TC. On the other hand, TC kicks him and not the other way around. So, I'm really not sure.

I don't often describe Fulham performances this way, but that was genuinely disgusting. Baffling managerial selection, no tactical identity, minimal effort and a team that never looked like they were doing anything more than going through the motions. Silva picked the wrong XI and made it about 10x worse with atrocious subs, not for the first time this season I wonder if he's actually hitting the wall with us as a manager expecting to be on the front foot and taking the initiative because we've reverted to type tonight of just get it wide and hit a hopeful cross in

I disagree with people saying there was a lack of effort. There was a lack of quality. Maybe Silva changed the team because he sensed some complacency in the squad after the Spurs win. We were all calling for subs but they didn't particularly help. Our passing was just off all night. The only question was whether we'd keep a clean sheet and perhaps fluke a penalty or something because we never looked like scoring. Let's not forget we were pretty poor away to West Ham and managed to sneak a win, so we have no God-give right to win these games.
