My only complaint - I think the green kit with the legacy badge should have the old adidas logo.

Berge gets thrown to the ground and the ref does nothing but give a corner, if it had been the other way round I'm sure VAR would be looking at it.

Trying to watch Fulham and the ice hockey Olympic final simultaneously.

I'm rooting for Luc De Fougerolles' team!

Who you might say?

Luc De Fougerolles is a prominent Canadian defender currently with Fulham FC, having signed a deal until 2029 and earning caps for the Canadian senior national team. The 19-year-old (as of 2025) has progressed through the club's academy, made his first-team debut in 2023, and was named Canada's Young Player of the Year in December 2025.

It is almost a if we are testing each other to see if we can react to misplace passes.  sometimes we react and keep the ball, other times we give it away.  good that sunderland are matching us.

Iwobi needs to be dropped poor poor decision making yes it's not an easy place to go I've said it before and I will say it again this is the weakest Sunderland side to date this season. And our manager is mentally checked out we are in free fall and his hope is just the FA Cup or bust.

No he didn't he completely missed his foot Kevin went down I've seen 6 replays he steps on the grass clearly and Kevin is on his way down before that alleged step on foot it's all grass.
I saw that he clearly stepped on kevin's left big toe and kevin's reaction would indicate the same, unless he just doesn't feel like playing

Weakest link for Fulham is their midfield play.

They are way to slow.

Ever since they let Andreas Pereira go, their midfield has dropped in quality.

Raul had a poor half, and has a yellow. Since then , he's made another foul and Sunderland fans already tried to pressure the referee to send him off. Next foul, he's probably sent off. On top of that, as I already said, he's been pretty poor.

Muniz and TC for Raul and Iwobi for me.

I dont think he has been any worse than anyone else, still a handful for the defense - but the yellow and the ref's attitude does put him at risk.

Tough balance with wanting a ball playing center-back like Cuenca vs Bassey. Our attacks are dying before they've started because Bassey can't find a pass, but he's doing well in the defensive stance. Andersen responsible for saving us 3 times with his blocks and clearances, while Berge is cleaning everything else up. Iwobi breaking lines, but he needs to up the quality a bit more.

Final ball quality has to improve. Sess crossing is brilliant with no one on the end of it. I'd push Wilson into the 10 to roam and collect second balls (that Raul won't foul on since ref seems soft), Bobb RW to cut in, followed by ESR in that left midfield role to work some build-up with Sess.

Have now sat through three halves of Fulham and Sunderland and so far Silva and his team have found a way to make Sunderland look terrible at football, which given their league position, cannot be the case.  We're not quite clicking, but Sunderland have a glaring problem at right back and we need to exploit it.

Who would be the DM if Berge comes off for TC? We are probably already too weak defensively there, Iwobi-TC midfield would get overrun by Championship teams.
Seriously? Iwobi or Berge makes no difference in the DM role. We've lost the midfield enough lately, and 3 losses in the Prem in a row, to know that.

The reason their striker hasn't had the ball to his feet is because Iwobi and Berge are doing exactly what they're supposed to do, clogging the central midfield. Not many teams have done that against Sunderland. I'd say we're doing okay.

Marco has a man crush for Berge. I just don't understand why. It's not as if Berge hustles all over the field.

He is literally in our box cleaning up all the runs into the half-spaces, then he's found at the top of their box several times. Honestly, how is that not hustling all over the field?

The only time Berge is at the opponents box is on corner kicks. He is way to slow too run from end to end.

That last minute sums us up. We rob the ball, pass forward and then immediately play it backwards rather than turn and put them under pressure. We then went on to pass it back and forth before ending up with Leno.

This needs to stop

Yeah, completely one sided commentators.
i am so happy i have the option to listen commentary-less

To be fair I could have muted them. I just find watching with no commentary all a bit insipid.

Sunderland are still in with a chance of getting a European place according to the commentary I have.  Not much mention of Fulham.

commentaryless but with the crowd noise is closer being in attendance with better views.

I kind of get that but it just doesn't work like that for me.

Radio 5 commentary could not be more home-biased. Ironically the second voice, an ex-Sunderland player, was far more impartial. Don't begrudge him a share of my licence fee.

TC on at 60

And if anyone would like to pass to wide open to ESR in the penalty area through on goal....thatd be great

I know TC is no chicken but he's not THAT old!

I was thinking the same but didn't want to jinx things!!
