Oooooof... 😣
To say I am not really expecting a good result from tonight's match is a vast understatement. I am willing to be pleasantly surprised though. I hope we get to see Bobb make an appearance too.
Forecast to stop raining over the Etihad at approximately 8:20.
::scarf::
I don't expect to win tonight.
Negative, maybe but realistic in fact!
Have we touched the ball yet.
Gentle Reminder: Wearing Black today...
We need to stop pretending we are real Madrid and messing around at the back against Man City.We are going to get caught out and look very foolish
That was close again.
Miserable weather. We need to take some long shots
Superb save from Leno, although the linesman raised the flag in the end.

Literally the most frustrating thing given how often we screw it up, 3 times in succession v Everton to the point of Leno getting booed
This is going to be a rout isn't it.
Leno looking likely to be our MOTM today.
Very good save there, especially in the wet condituons.
Been all City so far, but we might catch them on the break.
30%??? Where?
Why are we always so afraid of Man City? They are an excellent team obviously, but we've beaten much better teams than this iteration of Man City and last time we played them and attacked them, we actually managed to score 4 goals.
Chuk ruined an actual potential attack
One way street this one

Leno did to make a decent save.

Yeah I don't understand how a professional club can lose to the same team 20 times running, it's a genuine embarrassment and needs addressing because it makes them all look a bit spineless consistently sh*tting the bed whenever we play them, same applies to Marco too
I normally skip this fixture tbh. Wish i did
Thank god I don't have TNT or a stream!
Chin up,we've survived 20 mins.lol
Jesus I've never known a press this intense.
We really need to find a way to go longer effectively
We always go backwards against theses guys
That was superb from Raul. Our first good attack
Yes a shot.lol
1-0
Yep...
"Fulham's first corner" and it was shite. You have to wonder what they do in training.
There we go. I'd expect City to really kick on from here.
We've looked like a League 1 side and fully deserve to be down.
Well
This sucks
Nice cross Berge.
Literally have the softest defense in the box in the Premier League. So many times our defense is caught ball watching, flat footed.
On replay, poor header from Berge. He put it in a dangerous area and they've made the most of it.
Haha how bloody soft is giving goals like that away from so called experienced players again. Really pathetic.
Time to make a cuppa, there once again against them, there is only one outcome.
Should just cancel these fixtures and award city the three points

It was coming though, we should already be three down.
youd have thought after 16 loses silva would try something different like try and attack city
And time to turn off that one and watch Strand Larsen banging the goals in for Palace
They are bossing every part of the pitch and we are in for an absolute spanking
They have sussed we keep passing back to Leno and are cutting that off and shutting us down. Leno has more touches than any Fulham player at the moment . We wont score many goals that way.
Is the plan just to sit back and lose 3 or 4 nil? Because that's what it looks like, at the moment.

I don't think we planned to be sat this deep city are just dominating the f*** out of us
Wilson should have taken a shot earlier. Brilliant from ESR and even more so Raul in the build-up.
Why can't we get into them a bit. We always show them far too much respect.
Where's Roy Keane when you need him?
2-0
Kevin on for Chuk? On the basis that Kevin tends to track back and might cover that LB position because they are getting acres of space on that side.
Pretty academic really.
Finally get a chance
Blunder it and go 2-0 down
Absolutely outclassed
Oil money for the win
too easy
How easy is that. Jesus.
Oh dear.
What the hell is Bassey doing.
We'll start playing when they get 5?
When will we ever learn how to cope with a high press. Any team will beat us like that.
We are the most pathetic team in England when it comes to playing City. I'd honestly fine them all a weeks wages every time we play them because you'd think we were a bunch of 5 year olds playing against our icons the way we rock up and just roll over
Goodnight.
That's enough of watching this nonsense..Europe don't make me laugh.
Just watching the way they play out from the back shows what a gulf there is between us and them
I can't stand this fixture.
Why are we always just completely abject against them
Leno, open your eyes.
If we're gonna play this defensively, may as well go 5 at the back.
Whilst there's time left. It does feel we stand zero chance here
In to the next run of fixtures where we have to start picking up points again. Huge chance to turn things around again after this game. Big month ahead
I don't understand why people are complaining about us playing defensively... we can't get the ball because the opposition is that much better than us. If we weren't defending it'd already be 10-0.

For a team with I think the most players with dreadlocks, or similar, we shouldn't be giving away penalties for pulling people's hair.
Very lucky there Tete, I thought it would be a pen.
No captain, no bottle from the players, they were defeated before even getting of the bus from how they play.

It's not the defensive setup, it's the fact that silva has just gone with the predictable build up from the back against a team that will press with the entire squad. No mixing it up for playing against a better team, just go with standard and hope it works. He's about to lose 17/17 against Pep, you'd think after hitting 10 in a row he'd realise that he's getting it wrong
3-0

Looks like it's gonna be 10-0, anyway. Loads of teams have gone to City this year and pug up a fight, scored goals and made it difficult. This is just a terrible tactic, and an appalling lack of fight. Embarrassing.
Also given we're playing a back 4 I am stunned he's started Iwobi because he can't defend against average teams that press us, so somehow away against City Silva thinks it'll be different??
Disgrace of a performance from us,regardless how good they are.

Utter embarrassment from silva. The fact he hasn't learnt we can't play this type of football against city and piss around at the back with it in 5 years is a joke.

I thought Raul and ESR had some bright moments. The rest said about the others the better.
As for Iwobi in the middle, I repeatedly said that that's not the solution and that we should get a real midfielder in the January window. But most people here and on twitter said how that's the solution to all of our problems and that Berge-Lukic midfield was one of our biggest problems. If we were only going to get one player in it really should have been another midfielder and not Bobb, as we're in deep trouble with both Lukic and TC out.
This game pretty much solidifies that Silva isn't getting a better offer than us. Even managers in comparable roles like Iraola and Glasner at least show balls and tactical nouse against big clubs, silva just sets a team up to get picked off and an alarming lack of awareness

I said the same thing, he clearly doesn't want to be here past this season so I'd ask Stuart Gray to return until the end of the season
We must be on a par with Wolves as the worst defence in the league at the moment. WTF is going on?
Lukic and Berge as a midfield partnership would've worked if we had Cairney playmaking and a true winger eg Bobb on the right.
Idea being Lukic and Berge can win possession and Cairney/Anderson can spray passes to the wingers.
I think Iwobi at CM is as effective as hot butter against a good team like this. Wilson square peg round hole right wing as I've always said.
Sigh. Anyway..
What would you all change subs wise? Shall we give Kevin, Bobb and Muniz a run out? Does Robinson come on for Sess?

Harry Wilson purple patch over
That first half was woeful..like a practice match for them. Like they were playing Exeter City again. Why do we always go backwards to Leno and across the back and then lose it? Ok, they are a good side but we are not at the races. Why do we always roll over for City? Other teams are more physical against them. Make it difficult for them. We are 15 yards too deep and we have nobody near their players when they receive the ball, they can turn, run at us and play it wide with no challenges. Silva needs to get into them and the players need to show some respect for the badge this second half. We are so passive. No leaders, no passion.
I hope we see 3 subs at half time(or at the very least 2).

That's the problem, he just does the sam thing against City as he would for any other team and it's so predictable. City isn't the sort of team you play away with a wide open midfield with two CM's who aren't naturally holding midfielders and invite pressure on by slowly building up from the back. He's already lost 16 in a row so you'd think he might've learned that lesson by now

Quote from: The Cravenette on February 11, 2026, 08:47:29 PMQuote from: SP on February 11, 2026, 08:45:54 PMSky are so ******** smug.
City are so dominant but no mention of the huge difference in our budgets.
It's on TNT
It's on SS News in my house
Tete has been good in the second half.
Kevin had some good moments since coming on. To a lesser extent Muniz too.
VAR still helping them out
Surely a red for foden wtf deliberate above the boot and studs up on the achilles
City playing at 75% so of course we look better.
Bobb on for Wilson

Yes eased off this half,as they know they've won it.
Quote from: fulhamfever on February 11, 2026, 08:49:08 PMWilson can go for all I care he clearly wants to move on as can Silva
We need a change because we are recycling the same season in season out midtable and Q/F in cups
It's better than being in the Championship.
If Wilson is probably off at the end of the season then it might be sensible to build Bobb's experience up in the second half of the season by giving him a reasonable amount of game time.
'Perhaps a little fortunate to get away with that'

Berge off for Reed

Let's revisit this in April
If we're struggling after the next 5 games then by all means ask the questions
Sunderland
Spurs
West ham
Burnley
Forest
3 points off 8th

Who says another coach wouldn't take us down. Of course a change could make a difference for the better but it's a gamble. The knee jerk reactions on here when things aren't going well are ridiculous.

His contact with Marseille doesn't expire until June 2027. Also, he was frustrated by Brighton's lack of transfer activity so I don't think he's be interested in a club struggling to meet the new regs coming in this summer, which will force clubs like ours to live even more within their means.

Silva cannot take us to the next level
Forest being held 0-0 at home to Wolves.
Well at least the second half has been damage control and we've looked not too bad in the second half.
Anyway, this game is gone, FA CUP next...
I don't think we have any chance of getting anything in this match, but it would be nice if Muniz got a goal.

He's just parted ways with Marseille by mutual agreement

To do that he needs a bigger budget and better players. That ain't happening. Enjoy the ride.

A couple games ago we were 8th and in very good form
In 5 games time who knows what direction it'll go in
Maybe we need some oil money? :slap:

We need to break 115 rules
Dare I say it but I think Wilson's purple patch has gone and I think Raul has run out of steam.
So I'd probably start with Muniz and bobb next game
I would play Kevin on the left wing and Chuk on the right wing next game.
Bring on Wilson as a sub.
Kevin has earned his place after a good 20 minutes here.

Interesting. Thanks. Although it came after Marseille were thrashed 5-0 by PSG, so a bit like our first half performance in this game. Also, I now see he's being linked to the Spuds job.
Brighton fans v worried about slipping into the relegation places
Dyche gone in the morning at Forest, wouldn't surprise me.
Well at least results went out way today ay
Decent effort from King

100% start them against stoke , we need minutes to get them fit
How have we not scored there? Bobb should have shot it first time.
Pretty lame, but no different to what I expected.
Silva has run out of ideas I'm tired we need something new this guy wants big investment but he can't get the best out of the money he has spent. 6 points to get to the 40 point mark
Dead rubber second half but it was much better from us overall. City stepped off the gas but we competed at least. First half was abject at best. On to Stoke. Would like to see Muniz, Bobb, Kevin and Josh King get a run out.
Not sure I like all this chatting and laughing with the City players from our guys. Swapping shirts as well. No wonder we never beat them.
Pep doing his usual arms round our players too.

Citeh used the second half as a practice match. The game was done and dusted in the first half.
City took their foot off the gas in the second half. So our subs used & their stats are meaningless.
I think Leno was sitting on a chair for most of it.
