This game should be a good indicator of the team's direction. Let's hope they can pull it together.

I reckon this is the sort of game we have 65-70% possession and create bugger all.

They'll probably have 2-3 chances and capitalise.

That was somewhat similar, but I feel like Kevin should have passed it to Wilson as he was in a better position + I think he's a better finisher than Kevin.

On a different note, I was critical of Berge not using his physicality well so far this season, today he's been good in that regard apart from that one header he really should have won.

Good cross for Kevin now too.

As some of us have been saying, we're in serious strife this season.  Results elsewhere going against us (as pointed out by others above).

If we can't win here it's hard to see where the next 3 points are coming from

You don't get points for style in this league.  You get points for scoring more than the opposition.

At the moment we couldn't score in a brothel with a fistful of 50s

So frustrating to not have scored when we look so dominant

Muniz is such a huge loss were crying out for a mobile finisher.

Josh should probably have 2 assists from Wilson and Kevin's 1 on 1 fumble

Could easily have been 2+up this half but here we are. Really must be time to try JKA or ALB soon.

Decent half, in fact much better than what I expected when the lineups were announced.

Positives:
- Our wingers and midfielders are doing somw decent things in attack.
- Berge is having by fsr his best game this season and a game that's uo there with his best in Fulham shirt. Those Norway results seem to have hsd a positive effect on him.
- Iwobi is having his best game in an 8 role.
-Andersen looks good.

Negatives:
-Raul has been extremely poor. We need to sub him at half time for Chukwueze/Adama and play Wilson/Chukwueze as a false 9.
-Bassey, while having some magnificent moments had some iffy moments too.
- and finally, the biggest negative, we should have scored in this half. I doubt Sunderland will be as poor in the second half.

great summary, although I'd add that Kevin looked very nervous both times he went through. I hope he gets that out of his system as a young fella

We've supported this club long enough.  We know how this will go.

I'm tipping another 3-4 decent chances before we get undone by a late Sunderland goal.

What has raul done to justify still being on at 70mins? He's been mostly anonymous again. I dont get it, could JKA really have done any worse even if "not ready?"...like he's really done very little little but run about so far

According to the offal we've had 17 shots but only 4 on target. They've had 4 but 2 on target. I no longer get excited when GJs voice suggests we have a chance.

I didn't mind them. Most of them were for time wasting. Considering our poor form results wise, we really needed those 3 points today. A nice bonus is that we rattled their coaching staff and Xhaka.

Love him as a backup striker for Fulham though.   He's a goal scorer.
