Conceded 3 today, looks like his possession based, side ways football is on par per usual to being found out against premiership opposition
Such a shame
Well it was fine margins, ahem, ahem
Nice jumper tho
How long until he starts complaining about things and blaming everyone else?
His magic puffa will get him out of trouble
My money's on it being a photo finish between him and Potter in the annual PL sack race.

I put Potter in my football groups predictors two weeks back....after today's result he's gone to front of that queue I'd say.
Can we give the childish bashing of Scott Parker a rest?
Like I said when people were saying how Burnley will be good this season, because they are superb defensively, their defensive record in the Championship matters little. The previous record holders for the best defence, Watford, concedee tons of goals next season after they got promoted. Burnley was also pretty poor offensively last season, so I think they'll really struggle to score and their defending won't be as good as it was in the Championship which =relegation. In fact they are the only team I'd be willing to bet will go down this season.
I also don't think Parker has improved, or not significantly enough at least. As others have said, he's probably one of the first managers to be sacked this season. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if we struggle in one of our games(or even both of them), just like we did last season against poor teams.

No never
Tbh I've no ill feeling to him whatsoever as he is now irrelevant to FFC. We beat Kew Bridge in a play off final with him as boss so thanks Scott Parker and we move on.
Just "one of them moments" tbf
Lets discuss further after we have played them & see the result

Why does it bother you so much? If it's not your cup of tea why open the thread or read it once the slant of the topic becomes apparent.
There's plenty of threads and posts on here that are of little or no interest to me (some go as far as to bore the crap out of me) but I don't ask others to stop posting. I just ignore it and move on.
The only thing I like about Parker is him driving Lady Penelope.

Are they all my post's
One of many batterings for them hopefully.
Let's hope the home game against them isn't a drab 0-0 affair.
Out of all the teams on MOTD today Burnley have looked the weakest but I would not bet on them going down yet as there are too many matches yet to be played. As for Parker I have nothing against him as a person but all stops will be pulled out to ensure Burnley stay up. So obviously he could very well face the sack if they don't improve

I agree the sentiment on these sorts of posts can be very childish in tone (and I'm guilty of that in the past too)
But it's just so goddamn galling thinking about how Parker managed us in that relegation season.
Cavaleiro up top. Mitro benched. BDR at RWB just because.
The careers of so many of that squad have demonstrated how much talent we had - Lookman, Anguissa, Andersen, Tosin, Robinson etc. all top league talent.
All that talent misused or wasted in favour of Parker's Park The Bus "we need to win the small margins" ethos.
His time at Bournemouth and with us showed his style has a ceiling in the Prem.
I think it's fair to say his Burnley reign has a high chance of going the same way.

Ah mate come on Fulham fans. Let's not row about Scott Parker ffs.

Mugging us off, crippling our best players and working a deal with Bournemouth before we'd been relegated,
Yeah we've moved on and found a proper manager BUT he's still a ****

Trust me, I'm really not bothered 😘
Only seen the MOTD highlights but it looks as though Parker has a massive task on his hands if Burnley are to be the promoted team that survives.
I'm not sure what the positives are that he referred to after the game?

The main asset of the Burnley team is that they were able to smother games to death by being utterly boring in the championship, and not in the way that is about sitting back and hitting on the counter, but by just holding the ball and passing it sideways. This has been proven to not work when you're up against better players, so I don't think many were tipping Burnley to stay up.
He could probably be grinding out a load of 0-0 results and beat bottom half teams by one or two goals if he was given the reins at Manchester City, but that is the kind of quality he needs for the system to work.

And yesterday's match was the same 2 managers. This time I didn't mind Franke getting the upper hand.
A few "golden goodbyes" trousered on the way will give him a golden retirement.
So why hope he gets the sack?

Thats fair enough and I totally get some fans sentiment around him.
Burnley are definitely relegation material imo. They don't score enough gals to win enough games as they haven't changed from their last promotion.
Someone said they got promoted with -ve goal difference the other day. lol
One win is worth three draws and they only get draws and losses = relegation.
Got his first win today, looking quite full of himself with his spray on tan pacing around in his silly skinny pants
Thinks he's God now
With the Oasis reunion and Scotty's Famous fashion sense, I am surprised he hasn't released an official Scott Parker Parka

He has now started earning his stripes.
We have had far worse managers than Parker. This inability to let go probably says much more about how sad some of our fans are.

We've also had far better than him too.
I think that's where the problem lies - he's a fairly ordinary manager who's yet to prove it on the biggest stage.

I must be extremely sad - I'll add it to my collection

I guess the inability of some of our fans to understand why other fans can't let go says much more about how sad those fans are as well.
