Jack and Loz Robbed by VAR - Blog 314
Date: 30th August 2025
Location: Stamford Bridge
Opposition: Chelsea and VAR
Score: 2-0 (except it shouldn't have been)
Fulham's wrongly disallowed goal scorer: Josh King
Weather: autumnal
Atmosphere: mind-blowing
MOTM: Alex Iwobi is back to his very best - fast, strong, skilful and intuitive. He was everywhere on the pitch on Saturday; too cool for school, too hot to handle.
Moment of the Match: the one that should have mattered was Josh King breaking free with the ball, sprinting half the length of the pitch, outskilling two defenders, baffling the goalkeeper and slotting the ball home with an expert and exuberant finish. Fulham may have been Robbed of 3 points or cheated out of 1 but the most heinous crime on Saturday afternoon was wrongly depriving one of England's brightest young talents of his debut Premier League goal. In a derby match. Away from home.
Brunch: Manuka
Drinks and pub grub: the Prince of Teck. Not to be confused with tech. Which is rubbish.
Stamford Bridge needs no introduction. It's an ugly but functional stadium, easy to get in and out of and even easier to get to. The view from the away fans' safe standing area is excellent and the acoustics are good.
Mr and Mrs Lion are neither scary nor cute mascots but the sign language interpreter next to the announcer on screen is a very nice touch. The bursts of white and blue smoke from the roof pre-kick-off are fun in theory but meant the match started in a cloud of acrid smog.
When the miasma had cleared, we could see that Fulham were playing well. Very well. Marco had gone with a back five (as he did in this fixture last season when VAR didn't intervene and we won) and the defensive line was firm but flexible. Sess skipped forward down the left; our favourite Country and Western duo Kenny and Timmy made music down the right while the rejuvenated Andersen and ebullient Bassey held firm in the middle.
Sander Berge has started the season slowly but this was a fantastic game from him, patrolling the middle of the pitch, block and intercepting so Lukić could link play and Josh slip in and out of pockets of space. Iwobi and Muniz were busy and combative. Passing was slick and smooth, combinations were neat and effective and an alien who'd just arrived at a very blue stadium on our very blue planet and never heard of Big Six Bias, would have thought Fulham were by far the better team.
Meanwhile, the Chelsea players kept hoofing the ball off the pitch and falling over to win free kicks.
In other circumstances we'd be saying that Josh's goal was well-deserved. Fulham capitalised on a period of dominance, Muniz demonstrated his strength and skill in keeping the ball and Josh showed the world what, as Marco would say, he is capable to do.
Instead, the injustice began. Not only had the goal been scored, it had been announced, celebrated and chalked up on the big screen before some men in a office, glancing at screens decided that, in the build up to the goal, Muniz had made a "careless challenge". This is extraordinary because Muniz had not, in fact, made a challenge at all. He had kept the he ball. In doing so, because he has 2 feet and had to put them on the ground, one of them touched a Chelsea player who was trying to take the ball from him. Said Chelsea player rolled around in his death throes, ensuring the incident was examined.
But why? The point of VAR is to correct a clear and obvious on-field error, not for the officials to become the Football Police and comb through every contact (in a contact sport) and find a reason to change history.
To compound the error, the referee, Rob Jones (a shocking example of nominative determinism) went to the TV screen, located not in a neutral area but amongst the Chelsea fans, and spent many Moments rewatching Muniz's skill. Instead of having the courage of his convictions and asserting that his initial decision to ignore the incident was correct, he agreed with VAR, and was was the only person in the world to do so.
This was a shambolic and shameful decision. And things only got worse.
Fulham - brave, resilient, spirited - played on, backed by the ceaselessly signing fans and a furious but proud manager. Unfortunately, just before half time - or when half time would have been had Robber Jones not wasted everyone's time with his incompetence - Chelsea remembered how to play football and started doing it quite well.
They ended the half strongly, winning a corner that was well defended. The 4th official had indicated there should be 8 added minutes. The corner routine ended in the 9th added minute with the ball going out of play. There had been no reason for Robber to extend the half further and he should have blown the whistle for half time at that point. Instead, he allowed Chelsea to take another corner and what happened was inevitable.
From 1-0 up, Fulham were unjustly 1-0 down. Marco waited, dark and dangerous, for the players to leave the pitch. With the air of a man who knows he's done wrong, Robber surrounded himself with 4 bodyguards and scuttled down the tunnel.
The second half can be reduced to just one Moment; the third example of gross incompetence in one 90 minute game. Chelsea were given a penalty for a handball when the ball hit Sess's arm. Sess knew nothing about it but these things are often given. However, this one was only given after yet another excruciatingly long review, and a foul on Iwobi and a Chelsea handball in the build-up were ignored. And it was given by a man who already knew he had got two decisions criminally wrong.
We have, kindly, used the word incompetence when describing the acts of the officials. Other people have used a word beginning with C and not one of Ali Mac's favourites or the one which was directed at Tosin on Saturday afternoon.
Ultimately, Fulham have been very shabbily treated and it feels profoundly unfair. But it's not just about us. This could have happened to any Club (except 6) and reflects badly on the game we all love. As Marco said, this isn't football anymore.
Random musings:-
- The Fulham fans literally did not stop singing. Our favourites were 40,000 Muppets, You're Getting Sold in the Morning (to the Chelsea subs) and Lukić in the Middle of the Pitch
- Was JT supposed to talk after his introduction but was put off by a deafening chorus of We Saw You Crying at Wembley?
- Kenny and Timmy's next single will be Your Cheatin' Heart. Later in the season they are hoping to release Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain
- Once again Calvin Bassey demonstrated that he needs more elastic in in the waistband of his shorts
- On arrival at the ground we were escorted to the front of the long queue of away fans awaiting to enter. This was purely because there was a lady patter-downer with not enough to do but the chivalrous comments from fellow fans were much appreciated
- A briefer farewell to Andreas Pereria than he deserves but his departure has been overtaken by events. He's set the revolving door spinning though and, at this writing, it looks like Godo will follow him out while, excitingly, Minions fan Kevin is on his way in
- We really hope Kevin, and fellow linkee Chukwueze, watched that match and thought - wow, a team that fights against all the odds to win. That's the team for me
- As for Mr Khan's comment, next time you want to pay Fulham fans a compliment try classy, respectful, knowledgeable; people who value hard work and fair play. People who know their true worth.
- After the Man U game, Marco said that "everyone in the world" saw the officials' mistakes. We thought that was an exaggeration but this week, literally everyone in the football world (except Chelsea fans) have been united in their condemnation of Robber & Co. Pundits, journalists, ex-players (even Chelsea ex-players), millions of other fans have spoken out. It was particularly interesting to see where the sometimes ambivalent Danny Murphy's heart really lies
On Sunday, PGMOL (incredibly, the P stands for Professional when any Sunday league amateur ref could do a better job) came out and apologised for the mistake, admitting Josh's goal should have stood. Cheap, easy words. The VAR moron was dropped for the much more important Liverpool v Arsenal match. So he gets a day off.
But Josh doesn't get his goal back, the game doesn't get replayed, Fulham just have to put up with the injustice.
Marco Silva, though, isn't the type to put up with things. For a man who struggles to hide his passion and control his emotions, he spoke calmly at the end of the game but those measured tones don't mean that Marco accepts the situation anymore than he will accept PGMOL's apology. Marco is fighting officials, opponents, and his own board to do what's best for Fulham.
Now he's angry, the players are angry, the fans are angry. And, finally, reinforcements are arriving. It might be Fulham against the world. But there's a hell of a lot of fight in this underdog.

Fulham fuming after Chelsea profit from costly VAR interference
A comfortable win for Chelsea in the end over London rivals Fulham, but the jarring feeling from yet another Premier League game was the influence of VAR.
At each painstaking moment, a referee blows his whistle and signals his intent to use a pitchside monitor, a little bit of enthusiasm dies inside each supporter.
And yet again, here at Stamford Bridge, the joy and delight of 18-year-old academy product Joshua King, seconds after putting his club in front against their bitter rivals, was extinguished.
King had beautifully dispatched the ball beyond Robert Sanchez and into the corner, displaying immense composure to turn Tosin Adarabioyo inside out after Sander Berge's exquisite through ball.
But this fiery first half soon ignited after VAR decided to examine Rodrigo Muniz's role in the build-up, prematurely halting the wild celebrations in the Shed End from the away fans. The Brazilian had controlled the ball, spinning and landing on Trevoh Chalobah's foot.
Referee Robert Jones, after VAR Michael Salisbury's advice, concluded that Muniz was at fault, despite possessing the ball and watching Chalobah come from behind. Enzo Maresca maintained it was "quite clear". Marco Silva disagreed.
"For somebody that loves football, I'm here as a Fulham manager, but I feel sad, really," Silva said. "It's clear, special game and the best competition in the world, millions watching on TV. How you disallow a goal like that, it's unbelievable, VAR is not here to re-referee the game, for us and the world it was unbelievable. I prefer not to say more because I will be punished. It's difficult for us, this type of decision.
"Eight minutes of extra-time, I accept, but eight minutes, I would like the chance to have a corner, but after the second corner, it's already nine minutes.
"The game didn't stop one time, I saw all of the eight minutes. It should stop after the first corner, yes we should defend better."
The Portuguese boss was left dumbfounded and quickly exploded in the vicinity of the assistant referee, with the rest of the Fulham bench left aghast at their perceived injustice.
"One of the worst decisions I've ever seen from VAR," concluded former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder on BBC 5 Live.
It overshadowed a smart, diligent Fulham away performance, too, with chances created in addition to their organised defence. Joachim Andersen guided a shot wide from inside the box after combining with Timothy Castagne.
There was gorgeous build-up play on the stroke of half-time to slip King in behind, and the teenager's clever reverse ball found Castagne in on goal. But just as the Belgian's eyes lit up, Moises Caicedo delivered a desperate, lunging tackle to superbly clear the danger.
And moments later, Fulham's misery was compounded, with Joao Pedro glancing a header from Enzo Fernandez's whipped delivery to break the deadlock.
Fulham and their supporters were irate, and the feeling was underlined soon after the restart.
VAR again made a crucial intervention after Chalobah's low, swinging cross from the edge of the area was blocked by a spinning Ryan Sessegnon. The Fulham left-back's elbow was away from his body and it felt like another harsh judgment on the visitors.
It soon became apparent that there were multiple elements to this passage of play that VAR was eager to scrutinise. Fans have become accustomed to every element of the passage of play being forensically studied, and its effect was to dim the noise and atmosphere to leave widespread confusion.
Caicedo's touch to intercept the ball left Alex Iwobi limping away, then Pedro's involvement was studied. He appeared to flick the ball with his hand inside the box and a nudge on Andersen also threatened to dash home fans' hopes of a penalty.
But Jones sided with the hosts once more and Fernandez drilled the ball down the middle to double the lead and clinch precious breathing room.
"The penalty, yes, it's handball," an honest Silva said. "Definitely, but from that moment, two or three faults from ourselves. Our players went to the screen, they should not, but they saw stamp on Alex [Iwobi], hand ball from Joao Pedro.
"They found something unbelievable, but the stamp from Rodrigo [Muniz], the same people didn't see it for Alex. It's difficult to understand."
Chelsea will not care this time, at least, but these extended attempts at reversing decisions on the field continue to leave supporters deflated. The Premier League might ponder whether the system removes some of the joy from its evidently compelling product. And would the occasional mistake from an official be a worthwhile sacrifice to protect the league's rhythm?
The game naturally opened up as Fulham chased for a route back into the game. Estevao Willian, in again for the injured Cole Palmer, profited with a joyous run on the counter-attack to leave Calvin Bassey scrambling, only for his dragged effort to be stopped low down by Bernd Leno.
While Pedro thrived as a No 9, darting back to his own goal before spinning Andersen to open up space and send a blur of Blue beyond him.
The Brazilian then went beyond, gathering a Chalobah ball arrowed in behind, but just as the 23-year-old rounded Leno, the German's outstretched glove diverted the ball enough to keep the game alive.
Chelsea's No 20 is the only striker at Maresca's disposal for the foreseeable future, after Liam Delap limped off with a hamstring injury, ruling him out for at least six weeks. While Nicolas Jackson is set for Bayern Munich and Christopher Nkunku has joined AC Milan.
The former Brighton striker was inches away from connecting inside the six-yard box to grab a brace, only for Pedro Neto's cross to spiral just wide of the back post.

Fulham star hails teammate as "great player" – Proud of him turning things around
Fulham's Kenny Tete has hailed fellow defender Calvin Bassey, praising him for the manner in which he bounced back from his disappointing spell at Ajax.
Het Parool have an interview with the Fulham defender today, relayed by Ajax Showtime, in which he praises Bassey for getting his career back on track at Craven Cottage.
Bassey joined Fulham in a €22.5m deal in 2023 after a miserable year at Ajax following a €22m move from Glasgow Rangers in 2022.
He had impressed at the Scottish side under Steven Gerarrd after arriving on a free transfer from Leicester City's U23 side in 2020, earning rave reviews, particularly in Europe.
Ajax signed him as a replacement for Lisandro Martinez after he joined Manchester United that summer, but he never settled in the Netherlands, with a series of high-profile mistakes and an almost weekly criticism of some sort in the press.
He initially appeared determined to remain and fight for his place, but Fulham convinced him into the move to Craven Cottage, and he hasn't looked back since, establishing himself under Marco Silva over the last two seasons.
Tete plays alongside him and has been left impressed by what he's seen, insisting that players don't enjoy coming up against him.
"A fantastic player," he said.
"You can't get past him. At Ajax, he came at the wrong time. Luckily, Fulham were able to sign him. He repays the trust placed in him double and triple. I'm proud of him. Believe me, you don't want to play against him."

Transfer for Arsenal winger stalls as Fulham agree €40m+ Kevin deal
Reiss Nelson's future remains in doubt as Fulham agree a deal to sign Kevin but Crystal Palace are circling and could offer the player a way out of Arsenal.
Fulham's move for Reiss Nelson has reportedly stalled, with talks between the club and Arsenal dragging on without agreement.
Fulham reopened discussions last week but the chance of a deal slowed and now looks set to collapse completely. Disagreements over the structure of the transfer caused part of the problem, with Arsenal pushing for a permanent sale and Fulham preferring another loan, potentially with an option to buy.
There were also concerns over Nelson's fitness.
His previous loan spell at Craven Cottage was ruined by a hamstring injury that kept him out for 28 games, and Fulham wanted assurances he could stay fit across a full season, something no player could give.
The situation was complicated further by Fulham's interest in other wingers. According to David Ornstein on Sunday morning, Fulham have agreed a deal for Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk worth €40m+ (with a 25% sell-on), which would seem to put an end to any move for Nelson.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have been linked with a £15 million move for the 25-year-old, with talks reportedly under way.
With the window closing at 7pm on Monday, Nelson's future is still unclear.

The Morning After: Chelsea 2–0 Fulham.
I can't put into words the vitriol I have towards those toasters down the road, VAR, Rob Jones, and modern football. With that said, I'll try and compose myself. Here's a message to PGMOL, Robert Jones, and the Premier League. And here's what we learnt from Fulham's underserved inter-Fulham defeat. Let's get stuck in.
A Day That's A Perfect Representation Of Modern Football
Before I get into analysis, I'll preface the article with this. Today is a complete indication of what modern football has become. Anybody in defence of VAR is completely out of touch with people who keep the blood pumping throughout football's veins – the match-going fans. It feels as if the game we knew even 10 years ago is done, lost, something we will never get back.
League Cup draws, rigged in the favour of big six sides. Football finances, rigged in the favour of big six sides. But referring decisions? Blaming referees for losing games?
It's easy to do just that, it's been done as the get out of jail free card since the dawn of time, but today that is absolutely not the case. If what I, as many others, would consider the worst VAR decision of all time didn't occur, it's a completely different game. Fulham get a just reward for their first half dominance, Silva's side grow in confidence and perhaps get a second, completely changing how the filth approach the rest of the game. I'll get onto the other decisions later...
Dean Jones' arrogance and smugness exiting the Stamford Bridge tells you all need to know about his approach to yesterday's game, and everything wrong with modern refereeing. Dean Jones made the SW6 derby about one man, and one man only. Dean Jones.
The criticism of VAR is justified, yesterday felt like a seismic shift on VAR discourse not just within the Fulham fanbase, but English football as a whole. But, let's not forget, Dean Jones was the man who flaked on his decisions after being put under suggestion by the video assistant referee. A man with backbone, conviction, and integrity sticks with his call. Dean Jones however, is a pathetic excuse for a referee, a man with an ego far beyond his means.
Decisions like yesterday are on PGMOL's head. If referees felt contention for their spots as the world's premiere officials, high standards of officiating, and a true want for the right decisions, not the convininet ones to please the money makers, the big six, Jones would of stuck with his original decision.
Jones, PGMOL, and us, Fulham fans shouldn't label Saturday's performance as an affair decided by one decision. Far from it, let's go through them all.
Reviewing The Decisions
The 'reckless challenge' that Rodrigo Muniz committed, according to Robert Jones makes a mockery of a contact sport. Muniz never puts in a challenge, he is in possession of the ball! It's Chalobah committing the challenge, Muniz is just using a terrific piece of skill!
For the corner preceding Chelsea's first goal, the Blues had a man offside, and they were playing a minute over the eight miniutes of added time, despite the ball going out of play just seconds earlier.
The Blues continued playing in additional, additional time caused by a decision deemed so clear and obvious that it had to be checked for over five minutes...
The penalty given by Jones in the second half, Joao Pedro makes his body silhouette bigger by outstretching his arm. At the close range? Sure, but it directly affects the goal.
You can't tell me those decision happen if the teams competing for said decisions were switched. No chance.
Analysing The Games, Frankly, Secondary Events
Listen people, if I keep rambling on about my distaste for what the game we love has become, and Premier League referees sheer ineptitude, I may well lose my cool more than I did at the Bridge yesterday.
It's certainly a hard match to analyse, I'm not sure the best sport physchologists in the world could of got any team in world football playing after that double whammy sucker punch either side of the interval, alongside such an egregious set of decisions. It even sucked the air out of rowdy Fulham away following, I can't blame the players one bit. But with that said, Let's get into things we learnt from Saturday's inter Borough clash.
Josh King: The King Will Soon Reign
Absolutely gutted for him. The sheer jubilation that Josh King showed after finishing and starting FFC's counteractacking first half move is everything I want to see in a Fulham player. One of our own getting one over them lot, at eighteen years of age, mugging of Tosin 'The Traitor'. That was Josh's moment. It was ripped away from him by a system, a system we have no defined proof for, but a system we all feel the notions of. That didn't deter King though, not at all.
Josh ran the show, he was everywhere in midfield, as he always is. King's role playing off Muniz, whilst still utilising his energy to contribute in a press, or transition, deep in midfield in a role we will see plenty more of, especially against top sides.
Don't get it twisted, this preformance will just spur King on, giving him yet more reason to believe he can not only mix it with best of them, he can shine. Is it fair too say Josh may already be as important to this Fulham team as Joao Palhinha was in his spell in West London? I'd say it's pretty, darn close.
Timothy Castagne: Truly Underrated
Not enough credit is given to Timothy Castagne for playing through injury for months in a crucial part of Fulham's season last term. Following that up with an honourable display in Walham Green and it's fair to say Timothy Castagne is one of the most undated players on the right side of SW6.
Castagne locked down Pedro Neto, also interchanging with Kenny Tete into centre half at numerous points of the first half. Timothy is illustrative of FFC's depth in many parts of Silva's squad. We certainly have two Premier League quality right backs by the River. A model professional, a credit to Fulham Football Club. Timothy Castagne.
Joachim Andersen & Emile Smith Rowe: Fulham's 24/25 Big Money Summer Business Paying Dividends
Emile Smith Rowe entered the fray with a Fulham team that looked dumfounded, flattened. ESR's introduction gave London's Original's some renewed attacking bite. Emile was showing for the ball, coming short, trying to progress the ball, beat his man. In every appearance Smith Rowe has had this season, he's impressed. The only question remains, how does Marco fit our record signing in the same team as Josh King? We may find out on September 13th. If we do, it could unlock this Fulham team.
Joachim Andersen continiues to improve on his much maligned second half of 24/25. Andersen looks every bit the defensive leader Fulham needed in that first 45 minutes. Not only that, but Joa displayed he still is the modern, ball playing centre back, Mr Khan paid £30M for, last summer. Name me eight defensive partnerships better than Andersen and Bassey? You can't.
Top eight is European football. You build your teams on the spine of your team, your back two is essential to that. Sounds good, right?
Set Piece Sloppiness... Again
Fulham cant go without any criticism for a derby day loss. Whilst the nuisances to how the corner came to be are valid, our marking for Joao Pedro's close range header was embarrassing.
The duo I just praised, Bassey and Andersen, got caught asleep, leaving the reasonably diminutive Pedro to leap up between two 6'0ft plus centre halves to head home. Shocking defending. The same story as United at home last weekend. Our zonal marking defensive mechanism is simply not working. It's almost like we could do with a set piece coach? Oh, wait we advertised for one earlier in the summer. Well, that never materialised. Are we 'tracking', or 'monotoring', a set piece coach, too?
Sander & Sasa: Steel & Set Pieces
I've pinpointed Fulham's need for midfield agro, steel, or solddifty. However you want to slice it, Fulham need a number six. I still believe that, but Lukic and Berge's breaking up of Chelsea's imfamous box midfield restores a lot of confidence between the our Sasa, and Sander pivot.
Berge utilised his physicality to go from sideline to sideline, dangling those lanky legs for, a game high, seven recoveries. I've believed In Berge's ability to control this Marco midfield for a long time, keep up these type of preforamces, and he'll be there.
Lukic had less flashy intervions out of possession, but the Serb's set pieces... Wow. Such a far cry from Andreas Pereira's dead ball pain. Small mercies, eh?
Need X-Factor: Need Signings
In that first half, Fulham looked slick, playing at tempo, at speed, of a rigid base, Marco's men got into plenty of great opportunites to carve out a clear cut chance, but largely to avail.
The Cottagers are screaming out for somebody with that something, something. That X-factor. We already knew that, yesterday's huffing and puffing put it into practice. The unpredictable nature of a Kevin, or Chukwueze would have gone a long way in fixing that.
It's almost as if we should have done our business in time for our biggest game of the season. Sorry, I'm asking too much, aren't I, Mr wrestling tycoon?

Fulham on course for club-record Kevin signing
Fulham have agreed a club-record £34.6m deal to sign Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Brazilian winger, 22, has travelled to London for a medical and is expected to complete the move ahead of Monday's transfer deadline.
The deal will surpass the £34m paid by Fulham for Emile Smith-Rowe from Arsenal last summer.
Kevin is on course to become just Fulham's second summer signing, with goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte from Montpellier their only arrival so far.
Whites boss Marco Silva has made his frustration clear at the club's lack of signings.
He has been keen to sign two wingers – a deal for AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze is also in the offing.
"The reality is that two seasons ago, or even last season, at this stage of the season we have signed probably two or three players, but this season is completely different," Silva said recently.
"We had a plan and the plan did not go through. Simple as that and we have to look for ourselves."

Fulham close in on £35m deal for Shakhtar's Kevin
Fulham are closing in on a club record £34.6m move for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin.
The move for the 22-year-old Brazilian is expected to surpass the club's current transfer record - the initial £27m they paid to sign attacker Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal last summer.
Kevin predominantly plays on the left wing and has scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 57 matches for the Ukrainian side.
His signing would be a boost for Fulham boss Marco Silva, who previously complained about the club's slow pace in the transfer market.
Silva said the Cottagers had been "passive" in the summer window, having only added French goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte from Montpellier.
Fulham are still believed to be in the market for an additional attacker and have expressed an interest in Chelsea's Raheem Sterling and Basel's Philip Otele.
The Cottagers have two points from their opening three Premier League games and were 16th in the table after Saturday's fixtures.
They followed up opening draws at Brighton and at home to Manchester United with a controversial 2-0 defeat at west London rivals Chelsea.

The FFC Rumour Mill: Kevin fee agreed as Pereira departs
Jack Stroudley with the final weekly round-up of the summer transfer window ahead of Monday's deadline.
Over the Chelsea game yet? No, me neither. Cool, let's move on. It's amazing that despite the heavy injustice Fulham received on Saturday the club need to tend to this wounds quickly with deadline day being on Monday at 7pm and Fulham still needing to sign two-to-three players, according to boss Marco Silva.
Incomings
The winger merry-go-round appears to once again be in full force with Fabrizio Romano claiming on Sunday that Fulham and Shakhtar have agreed a fee of €42m for Kevin. This follows Romano's news onWednesday Fulham are now in advanced talks for both Kevin and Samu Chukuweze with fees of over €40m and €25m for the two wingers respectively. If you want to know more about the pair, I wrote an article on Wednesday about what they could offer Fulham.
These aren't the only rumours surrounding those wide areas. Pete O'Rourke from Sky has suggested that Fulham are in advanced talks to sign Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa while Ben Jacobs reported that Fuham still hold an interest in Basel winger Philip Otele and watched him on Wednesday against FC Copenhagen.
Finally on the winger front, Fulham remain the closest to signing Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling according to the Daily Mail (one that could happen late on Deadline Day) and Eduardo Bargos has reported that Fulham hold an interest in Abdul Fatuwu from Leicester City viewing him as an alternative to Chukwueze.
In terms of other positions, Matteo Moretto has reported that Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk has turned down the opportunity to sign for Fulham with Marco Silva's side also holding an interest in Chelsea striker Tyrique George, according to Sky Sports.
Finally, both West Ham and Fulham have sent scouts to watch Middlesborough midfielder Hayden Hackney with the East Londoners making an offer for the 23-year-old.
Outgoings
Andreas Pereira has now left Fulham to join Brazilian side Palmeiras following their long-standing interest. Pereira had a medical in Brazil on Thursday before signing for a reported €10m.
Well, here we are then. A day from deadline day and we are none-the-wiser as to who on earth Fulham are going to sign. Being linked with every winger under the sun and a few murmurings from other positions makes me think it will be a lively one. Whatever happened Fulham need at least three in: get it done.

Fulham agree fee for Shakhtar's Kevin; eye Milan's Chukwueze - sources
Fulham are looking to make a double signing before the transfer window shuts on Monday, having agreed a fee for Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk while they are also interested in signing Samuel Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan, sources have told ESPN.
The west London club have agreed a fee with Shakhtar for Kevin which is in excess of £34.6 million ($46.7m) with bonuses for what would be a club-record transfer.
The player is yet to agree personal terms but there is optimism from both clubs the transfer will go through for a fee which would surpass the £34m Emile Smith Rowe cost when he moved to Craven Cottage from Arsenal in 2024.
Kevin has represented Brazil at under-20 level and joined Shakhtar in 2024 from Palmeiras. Fulham have held a long-standing interest in the winger and have been in dialogue with Shakhtar for most of the summer. Kevin is set to arrive in London on Sunday to move the transfer forward.
Chukwueze is also on Fulham's radar and having made progress in talks last week, there is renewed optimism this deal can get done before the window closes.
If terms between Fulham and AC Milan can be agreed, Chukwueze would likely join Fulham on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent if certain criteria are met, sources have told ESPN. The winger joined AC Milan in 2023 from Villarreal and has 46 caps for Nigeria.
It's been a quiet summer for Fulham to date with 34-year-old goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte their sole arrival. They saw Andreas Pereira leave last week for Palmeiras while Carlos Vinícius left on a free transfer.

Fulham 'agree Kevin fee'
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin is on his way to London for a medical after Fulham agreed a £34.6m fee to sign the Brazilian winger.
The deal bring the talented 22 year-old to Craven Cottage will comfortably surpass Fulham's record transfer fee – which is currently the initial £27m they paid Arsenal to sign Emile Smith Rowe last summer. Kevin, who usually plays on the left wing but can play up front or from the right flank, has scored seventeen goals in 57 matches for Shakhtar, also contributing ten assists.
He was outstanding as Shakhtar came from behind to beat Servette in the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off on Thursday night, scoring a penalty that helped the Miners secure a place in the group phase of the competition. The protracted deal to bring in the pacey winger would be Fulham's second of the summer and their slow recruitment has angered head coach Marco Silva.

Godo completes Strasbourg medical
Fulham winger Martial Godo has passed a medical at Strasbourg this afternoon ahead of a proposed £6m move to the Ligue 1 side.
The 22 year-old is set to complete a move to France in the coming hours and team up with former Fulham full back Liam Rosenior, who has been in charge at Stade de la Meinau since last July. Godo, who enjoyed an excellent loan spell at Wigan Athletic in 2023-2024, had been the subject of a bid from Coventry City but has opted to join Le Racing, who qualified for the Europa Conference League after Rosenior guided them to a seventh place finish in Ligue 1 last season.
The Ivory Coast under-23 international had made six senior appearances for Fulham following a meteoric rise having been spotted playing for Margate, but had not featured for the Whites since playing against Sheffield United in a behind closed doors pre-season friendly. He had made clear that he wanted to play regular first-team football, whilst the deal represents pure profit for Fulham under the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Fulham close in on second summer signing as club-record deal agreed for Kevin
The Cottagers have left much of their summer business to the last minute
Fulham have reached an agreement to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin.
Fulham will pay a club-record €40million (£34.6m) fee for the 22-year-old, eclipsing the initial £27million they paid for Emile Smith Rowe last summer.
Kevin is in London for a medical ahead of his proposed move, though Fulham are yet to reach an agreement with the player's camp.
Kevin, who scored nine goals and provided four assists last season, netted from the penalty spot as Shakhtar sealed their place in the Conference League on Thursday.
The Brazilian joined Shakhtar from Palmeiras in January 2024 and impressed in last season's Champions League, scoring against Bayern Munich and Brest in the league phase.
Fulham have been in the market for a winger all summer and also pursued a deal for Arsenal's Reiss Nelson, who spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage.
Talks have also been held with AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze as Fulham look to add options in attack, having scored twice in their opening three Premier League games.
Fulham have endured a difficult summer, so far only bringing in backup goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, and Marco Silva said this week that the club had no other choice but to make more signings before the deadline.
Having focused on contract renewals for much of the summer, Fulham have now stepped up their efforts to bring players in before Monday's deadline.
Fulham's move for Kevin is not expected to be the last deal they pursue as Silva looks to bolster his squad after taking two points from Fulham's opening three league games.

Player Ratings: Chelsea 2-0 Fulham
The ratings are in from a frustrating SW6 derby.
Rob Jones. Do I dare say more? A superb team effort from Marco Silva's side and a beautiful moment for Josh King were both ruined by a game full of scandalous officiating. Here's the lowdown on how we performed...
Bernd Leno
Thought Leno played a big part in our build-up play, frequently being trusted to help the ball go from side to side to help play through Chelsea's press, in the end completing more passes than most of our outfield starters. Made a few decent run of the mill saves and one superb save from Estevao around an hour in. Struggled to command his crowded box for the first goal and will be frustrated to see the penalty go off his legs and down the middle of the goal. 6.5/10.
Kenny Tete
Fairly standard performance from Tete who I thought was reliable on the ball throughout. Looked to have a good relationship with Castagne on the right side and clear that he enjoyed the additional freedom to overlap a bit more when we went to a back four. Still think personally that Tete is best utilised a bit wider than as a wide centre back but he's adapting well and adding increased versatility to his game. 6/10.
Joachim Andersen
For the second week running, Andersen was comfortably our best centre half. Must be said, it's also probably the second week running where the Dane might have been gutted not to score, seeing a header cleared off the line in added time. Joa was the key man in playing out of Chelsea's press, and unsurprisingly played the most accurate long passes of anyone in black and white. Defensively I thought he was superbly strong in holding off the likes of George and Pedro and showed a decent amount of recovery speed when needed. He looks fresh this season off the back of some criticism last year. 7.5/10.
Calvin Bassey
I have to be honest, I thought Bassey was very poor. On the ball, of the three centre backs, he may have completed the most passes but he also looked the most shaky on the ball and failed to be as progressive as Tete or Andersen. Defensively it was scary how easily he was frequently beaten. I lost count of the number of times Estevao stood Bassey up, drew in a poor challenge and ran past our defender. After a frustrating weekend last time out, he needs to get his head up over the break and get back to his best when league football returns. 4/10.
Timothy Castagne
As I said previously, I'm really enjoying how well Castagne and Tete are working together on the right side. Castagne defensively was superb too, reducing Neto to very little. Every time the Portuguese winger stood him up or tried going either side, Castagne stood firm and made a number of quality blocks. It still just frustrates me how little he offers in the final third for someone playing the wing back position. 7/10.
Sasa Lukic
Another really good industrious performance from the Serb who must've covered every blade of grass on the pitch whilst contributing at both ends of the pitch. Not only did he make the most tackles of any Fulham player, he also made the most key passes too. Make no mistake about it, Lukic can become a key cog in the number eight position if he continues to push up the pitch and contribute more in the final third whilst also posing a promising threat from set-piece deliveries. 7/10.
Sander Berge
We were so close to a first Sander Berge goal contribution for the club (sadly he still has zero, unfortunately that is factually correct as a statistic). Not only did he play the ball through for Josh King in the first half, but he also nearly tapped in after Andersen's late header was cleared off the line. While Berge's ball retention was good, I thought he was a bit soft on Chelsea's technical players, Joao Pedro especially turned him slightly too often. 6.5/10.
Ryan Sessegnon
Offered far more than Castagne did from a wing back position in terms of an attacking threat, connecting really well with King especially at times to get down the left. Defensively I think Sess did really well in covering whenever Bassey struggled and made two or three important interventions in the box in the first half. Will be frustrated with how the penalty was conceded, but football players aren't allowed to have arms anymore, apparently. 7/10.
Alex Iwobi
Iwobi frustrated me in this one. The way we set up, it just feels like somebody with his attacking intent and abilities should be getting further up the pitch far more often than he did, leaving Muniz and King far too isolated far too often. He looked constantly annoyed at the lack of space he was getting but ultimately his movement and ball retention had to be better itself. 5.5/10.
Josh King
I said to those around me at the Bridge, I know that Fulham bias comes into how horrifically terrible or unbelievably amazing a player is. I thought Josh King was a big talent, but this is the game where he stood up and showed that, actually, he's even better than we could have ever imagined. He made a mockery of the hundreds of millions pounds worth of Chelsea talent on the pitch, running rings round them with confidence and ease. The fact he's lost that moment thanks to some horrendous officiating is heartbreaking, but he will have more moments for sure. He was the best player on the pitch by a mile, an astonishing performance. 9/10 - Man of the match.
Rodrigo Muniz
I think we have to talk about how stupidly careless Muniz was to deliberately stand on Chalobah in the build up to the King goal. I am of course joking, however that moment did just add to a growing sense of frustration around Muniz who fed off of scraps with so little bodies around him and long balls often going above him to Tosin or Sanchez. I don't want to criticize him too harshly, because I just don't think a striker can do much without service or other forward players to link with. 5.5/10.
Substitutes
Raul Jimenez
Played the last half an hour in place of a frustrated Muniz. Whereas last week I thought Raul added a lot to our attack and contributed strongly, this time at the Bridge I thought he just ran around like a headless chicken with no clear idea of what to do to change the game. 5/10.
Harry Wilson
H coming on for Castagne for the last 30 minutes helped in the way it changed our shape but it still felt like he was receiving the ball way too deep to affect any noticeable change on the game. Maybe at that point spirits had dropped after Fernandez added a second goal but Wilson will be gutted he couldn't make a difference. 6/10.
Antonee Robinson
Lost the ball a few times on the left hand side and looked hesitant to cross early when in decent positions. Of course, his fitness and sharpness needs taking into account and ultimately it's a positive that he got near on half an hour into the legs in place of Sess, but his best is definitely still to come. 5.5/10.
Emile Smith Rowe
I think out of all the subs ESR probably showed the most intent to make a difference but still struggled as much as the rest. Came on for King at the same time as Jedi, which Maresca did quite well to counteract with the introduction of Andrey Santos which closed up the Chelsea midfield and nullified our subs' threats near the penalty area. 6/10.
Adama Traore came on too late to be fairly assessed.
Marco Silva
I liked how we set up to play around Chelsea's press and for the most part we executed that well, especially through Tete and Andersen. Again, I love the freedom given to Josh King, but it was noticeable how little support he was receiving. It's okay to set up with a back three against any opposition, but you can still make it more offensive. Iwobi, Castagne, Berge are the three that come to mind especially but as a unit he needs to find a way to make everyone outside of the back three contribute more to our attacking play. Whilst it would be easy to criticize how little the subs changed the game, I more think that actually the second goal killed a game that had been so emotionally driven to a point where our players had little left to give. Lots to ponder over the international break, for sure. 6.5/10.

Fulham transfer target 'arrives for medical' following £36m agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk
Fulham transfer target Kevin has reportedly arrived in London for his medical ahead of his proposed move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Cottagers are looking for a strong end to the transfer window, having made Benjamin Lecomte their only addition of the market so far.
Fulham have been pursuing Kevin as a potential target for the last few weeks, but they have found it difficult to agree terms with Shakhtar.
However, it has been reported that they have now reached an agreement with the Ukrainian side over a £36m transfer.
Kevin arrives for Fulham medical
The deal is set to surpass the £34m they paid Arsenal to make Emile Smith Rowe their club-record signing last summer.
Kevin will not play in Shakhtar's Ukrainian Premier League game against Oleksandria on Sunday because he is set to arrive in London to finalise his move.
According to Sky Sports News, the 22-year-old attacker is set to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed switch to the Premier League.
However, there is a belief that he still needs to agree personal terms before he can become the newest member of Marco Silva's squad.
Why are Fulham signing Kevin?
Silva has made it clear over the last week that Fulham need to bring in reinforcements before the transfer window slams shut on Monday.
The wide positions are one area that are in desperate need of strengthening following the departures of two wingers at the end of last season.
Willian left the club as a free agent at the end of June, while Reiss Nelson returned to Arsenal following his loan stint at Craven Cottage.
As a result, Silva is currently working with Alex Iwobi, Adama Traore and Harry Wilson as his main wide options.
Martial Godo is also part of the first-team squad, but he is expected to complete a move to French side Strasbourg.

PGMOL admit King error
The Daily Mail's chief sports writer Mike Keegan reports that the PGMOL board technical director Howard Webb has contacted Fulham to apologise for the error that led to Josh King's goal in the SW6 derby being wrongly ruled out yesterday.
King's first senior goal for his boyhood club looked to have given Fulham the lead at Stamford Bridge – but referee Rob Jones agreed with video assistant referee Michael Salisbury that Rodrigo Muniz had impeded Trevor Chalobah as he trod on the Chelsea defender's foot when turning whilst in possession of the ball in the build-up to the goal.
Webb has reportedly contacted Fulham regarding the incident this morning and the PGMOL have acknowledged that an error was committed. They now believe that the previously outlined 'high threshold' for VAR intervention was not met in this incident. Salisbury has been stood down from the Premier League match between Liverpool and Arsenal this afternoon, where he was also due to act as a video assistant referee, as a result of his mistake.

VAR official changed in Liverpool vs Arsenal clash after Fulham goal is controversially disallowed
Michael Salisbury has been removed from VAR duties for Liverpool vs Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Salisbury has been replaced by John Brooks after his controversial role in Chelsea's 2-0 win at home to Fulham.
Fulham believed they opened the scoring through Josh King in the 21st minute at Stamford Bridge.
However, Rodrigo Muniz was contentiously adjudged to have stepped on Trevoh Chalobah's foot in the build-up to the goal.
Referee Rob Jones confirmed the decision after a review and the goal was chalked off.
Chelsea were awarded a penalty early on in the second half as Ryan Sessegnon handled in the box from a Chalobah cross.
Experienced referee Brooks will now be the VAR when Liverpool host Arsenal in the Premier League clash.
VAR continues to make the headlines
The 2025/26 campaign is the seventh season in which VAR has been used across all matches.
When Liverpool hosted Bournemouth in the opening match, they felt as though the visitors should have had a men sent off.
Marco Senesi handled the ball near the halfway line at Anfield but avoided a red card.
VAR checked and confirmed the decision that was made by referee Anthony Taylor.
It was deemed not to be 'a clear handball offence nor denial of a goal scoring opportunity'.
Two days later, Eberechi Eze had a goal disallowed by VAR against Chelsea, with referee Darren England checking the pitchside monitor.
Marc Guehi was adjudged to have fouled Moises Caicedo when the free-kick was taken.
"After review, away number six is less than one metre away from the wall as the shot is taken," the Premier League Match Centre said.
"Therefore, it's an indirect free kick and a disallowed goal."
Last weekend, Muniz's own-goal was allowed to stand for Manchester United despite Leny Yoro appearing to push Calvin Bassey.
However, VAR Darren England checked the goal and did not believe Bassey was fouled.

VAR official dropped for Liverpool vs Arsenal after Fulham goal error
Howard Webb issued a personal apology to the Cottagers after Josh King was denied a well-taken opener
PGMOL have removed Michael Salisbury from VAR duties for Liverpool vs Arsenal after admitting he made a mistake in disallowing Fulham's opener against Chelsea on Saturday.
Josh King thought he had opened the scoring at Stamford Bridge with a well-taken breakaway goal, but play was pulled back as Rodrigo Muniz was deemed to have fouled Trevoh Chalobah in the buildup.
It proved a pivotal moment in the match, which Chelsea went on to win 2-0 despite being outplayed for long stretches.
It was not the only contentious VAR decision in the match, either, as Chelsea were later awarded a penalty as Ryan Sessegnon was convicted of handling the ball after Joao Pedro got away with a similar offence.
PGMOL have now issued an apology to Fulham, though, acknowledging that Salisbury's decision went against the 'referee's call' principle, which holds that VAR can only intervene after a clear and obvious error.
Howard Webb, PGMOL's Chief Refereeing Officer, contacted the club personally.
John Brooks has been elected to replace Salisbury on VAR duties at Anfield on Sunday.
Fulham boss Marco Silva was left incensed by the decisions, saying at full-time: "The second decision was completely unbelievable, for that penalty, and it was an unbelievable decision [for the first].
"You have many decisions to talk about. I have spoken about referees so many times. I am not in the best mood to do it."
Enzo Maresca disagreed, though, saying he did not find either decision controversial: "I don't think so because the foul is a foul and the penalty is a penalty. For me, it's quite clear.
"If I had some doubt, I would say. But it's quite clear that the foul is a foul and the other one is simple."

VAR official dropped after PGMOL admit mistake over Fulham goal
Official Michael Salisbury has been dropped for Sunday's Premier League game between Liverpool and Arsenal after Professional Game Match Officials Limited said it was a mistake for the video assistant referee to disallow Fulham's opening goal at Chelsea on Saturday.
Josh King scored 22 minutes into the game only for it to be chalked off following a VAR intervention for a foul by Rodrigo Muniz in the build-up.
Muniz was deemed to have stepped on the foot of Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah while trying to turn him near the halfway line.
Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Fulham's Antonee Robinson, along with teammates Joachim Andersen and Ryan Sessegnon, criticised the way VAR was working in the Premier League.
"If they can check something for five minutes and still get it wrong, then what's actually the point?" Robinson wrote. "Standard of officiating has been shocking in the Prem for too long now."
On Saturday the VAR decision was announced to the crowd.
"After review, Fulham Number 9 commits a careless challenge, stands on the foot of the Chelsea defender, therefore we disallow the goal and we restart with a Chelsea free-kick," referee Robert Jones told the Stamford Bridge crowd.
To make matters worse for Fulham, Chelsea's opening goal in their 2-0 victory came nine minutes into eight minutes stoppage time at the end of the first half.
Referees chief Howard Webb has spoken to Fulham and declared the decision was an error.
He said the decision to rule out the goal did not reach the high bar of a VAR intervention as it was not a clear and obvious error by the referee and should have been a 'referees' call' instead.
As a result, referees' body PGMOL has replaced Salisbury with John Brooks for the Sunday's match at Anfield.
Fulham manager Marco Silva was furious with the officials after the defeat, describing the decision to disallow the goal as "unbelievable".
"How you disallow a goal like that is unbelievable," Silva told TNT Sports after the game, which left Fulham winless after three Premier League matches.
"We have meetings with referees and people in charge, we all want to win. VAR is not here to re-referee the game.
"I would prefer not to say something more because I would be punished. I want to be on the touchline next week to help my team, I don't want to be fined.
"But it has been a difficult start to the season with some decisions."
It was the second Premier League home game in a row that Chelsea have benefited from a VAR intervention, after Eberechi Eze's free-kick in a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace was disallowed on the opening weekend because Marc Guehi was deemed to have interfered with the wall.
Burnley boss Scott Parker said the use of VAR was threatening to turn football into "the most sterile game there is" after his side lost to a controversial late penalty at Manchester United.
Ruben Amorim's team were awarded a penalty deep into second-half stoppage time when Jaidon Anthony was penalised for grabbing Amad Diallo's shirt inside the area.
Referee Sam Barrott initially waved play on, but after reviewing the incident on the pitchside monitor he awarded the spot-kick and Bruno Fernandes held his nerve to earn the hosts a 3-2 victory.
"It's the way the game has gone - quadruple checking everything every minute," Parker told BBC Match of the Day.
"On the field, the referee didn't give the foul, then we've re-reffed it. It's not the ref, it's a fella 200-odd miles away in a box."

Fulham close in on club-record £34.6m deal for Brazilian winger Kevin
The 22-year-old has scored 17 goals in 57 matches for Shakhtar Donetsk.
Fulham are close to agreeing a club-record £34.6m deal to sign Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 22-year-old, who has scored 17 goals and made 10 assists in 57 matches since moving from Palmeiras in 2023, will become just the second signing of the summer for Marco Silva's side.
He will bring European experience to Craven Cottage having played seven times for Shakhtar in last season's Champions League.
The club's previous record fee was the £27m spent to bring in Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal a year ago.
It has been frustrating window for Silva after he guided Fulham to a record Premier League points tally of 53 last season.
So far, back-up goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte has been their only signing, the 34-year-old joining from Montpellier for £500,000.
Fulham have picked up just two points from their opening three league fixtures and were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in Saturday's west London derby.

Fulham Women 4-2 Norwich Women(https://images.webapi.fulhamfc.com/fit-in/1600x1600/4816c090-867d-11f0-b803-1728e4b51230.jpg)
Fulham Women maintained their excellent start to the season with a 4-2 win over Norwich City, in an entertaining clash at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
After Grace Riglar had cancelled out Madi Parsonson's opener, the Whites took control of proceedings and went 3-1 up courtesy of goals from centre-backs Ella Tagliavini and Becky Stormer.
City threatened a nervy ending courtesy of substitute Issy Moore, but a glorious 90th minute chip from captain Jade Bradley meant the points were staying at the Cottage.
It was an even start to the encounter as the two sides – who each boasted a 100 per cent league record – sized each other up, with the flow of the game not helped when Taomë Oliver had to be replaced by Megalie Mendes 18 minutes in.
The opener did soon follow, though. A rapid counter attack was started and finished by Parsonson, who smashed a stunning first time strike into the top corner after being picked out by a gorgeous curling cross from Katie Dungate.
Unfortunately, the lead lasted less than four minutes, with captain Riglar directing a firm header beyond Jacqui Goldsmid following a Freya Symonds corner from the right.
Parsonson then turned provider and was inches away from teeing up Ellie Olds for a tap-in, but there was a little too much zip on her centre.
An outrageous attempt just after the half hour mark almost had the Canaries in front when Symonds spotted Goldsmid off her line and tried her luck from the edge of the centre circle. It was a very admirable effort, one that thankfully marginally cleared the crossbar and landed on the roof of the net.
We had a long range effort of our own when Stella Gandee Morgan rifled one in from 25 yards, drawing a sprawling save from Holly Mears.
From that corner, the Whites went in front. Played short, it was worked back to taker Lily Stevens who bent in a dangerous delivery that Mears did not properly deal with while being challenged by Gandee Morgan, leaving Tagliavini with the opportunity to nod home the loose ball.
There was almost another quick response from the visitors when a high press presented Symonds with a shooting chance, but a brave block from Leeta Rutherford diverted it away.
Another injury blow was dealt Fulham's way in first half stoppage time, when goal scorer Tagliavini had to be replaced by Stormer.
We flew out of the blocks after the restart and extended our lead within five minutes. After a sustained period of pressure, Olds did well to keep the ball in at the byline and pick out Gandee Morgan. She hit the post but it dropped back into the path of Stormer who made no mistake with her volley.
Dungate then collected the ball on the edge of the box with her back to goal, before a quick swivel and shot that was saved by Mears.
Next, Bradley hit a first time thunderbolt from distance that looked set to rise into the top corner, but Mears was able palm it behind at full stretch.
Norwich found a way back into the game on 71 minutes when Moore was left with a simple finish after a coming together between Goldsmid and Olivia Dale.
But the Whites remained calm and limited any threats of an equaliser, and in fact were able to put some more daylight between the sides with a stunning strike from Bradley, who chipped a beautiful effort in from 20 yards after Mears' punch had dropped to the Fulham captain 20 yards out.

Fulham star risks wrath of Premier League chiefs with furious rant on VAR controversy
Fulham were denied a goal in controversial circumstances before going on to lose 2-0 against Chelsea, with the PGMOL later admitting that VAR shouldn't have intervened
Fulham defender Antonee Robinson has risked punishment from the Premier League by labelling the standard of its officiating 'shocking for too long'. Robinson, 28, was part of the Fulham side who were left furious after their opening goal against Chelsea on Saturday was controversially ruled out by VAR.
Josh King, Fulham's 18-year-old academy graduate, scored after an assist from Rodrigo Muniz. But following a lengthy VAR check which saw referee Robert Jones sent over to the pitch-side monitor, the goal was ruled out for a foul by Muniz in the build-up.
The Cottagers striker was adjudged to have fouled Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah while he was turning on the ball. Michael Salisbury, the video assistant referee, advised Jones to review the incident and a foul was awarded.
Chelsea went on to win 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, extending Fulham's winless start to the Premier League season. On Sunday, the PGMOL admitted that VAR shouldn't have intervened, removing Salisbury from his duties for Liverpool against Arsenal that afternoon.
It was in response to the PGMOL's acknowledgment that Robinson hit out. In a post on Instagram, the United States international slammed the level of refereeing and use of VAR in English football's top-flight.
"If they can check something for 5 minutes and still get it wrong, what's actually the point?" Robinson posted. "Standard of officiating has been shocking in the prem for too long now."
His boss, Marco Silva, wasn't impressed with the decision either. "How you disallow a goal like that is unbelievable," Silva told TNT Sports. "We have meetings with referee and people in charge, we all want to win. VAR is not here to re-referee the game.
"I would prefer not to say something more because I would be punished. I want to be on the touchline next week to help my team, I don't want to be fined. But it has been a difficult start to the season with some decisions.

Chukwueze set for Fulham medical
Samuel Chukwueze is heading to London for a Fulham medical ahead of a proposed loan move from AC Milan, according to the Times' Peter Rutzler.
The Nigerian winger has been the subject of prolonged negotiations between Fulham and the Serie A side – and it is understood that the clubs have reached a tentative agreement over the terms of a season-long loan. The deal to take the former Villarreal winger is not completed yet, but AC Milan have agreed to allow the 26 year-old to travel in order that the medical tests are completed to ensure that the move is able to be completed before the transfer deadline.
Fulham have also agreed a fee for Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian winger Kevin, who is understood to have had his medical at Motspur Park today, as the Whites scramble to supplement Marco Silva's first-team squad with the signings the head coach has demanded since the start of the summer.

Exclusive: Fulham on verge of €25m deal for Milan forward Chukwueze
Milan forward Samuel Chukwueze is expected in London for his medical tests with Fulham.
A deal that had already been set up with great confidence in recent days, though there had been a pause at one point due to other market factors.
Now, the winger is on the verge of leaving Milan to join the English club.
The deal looks set to be completed for a fee of around €25 million, including bonuses.
Chukwueze heads for fresh start at Fulham after failing to impress at Milan
Nigerian international Chukwueze signed for Milan from La Liga side Villarreal in 2023, signing a five year deal with the Rossoneri. The winger was an important player in Spain, helping the club lift the Europa League in 2020-21 but he failed to impress in Lombardy.
In 69 appearances for the Rossoneri in all competitions, the winger has scored just eight goals and has failed to truly make his mark.

Reports: Chukwueze heading for London ahead of medical with Fulham
Samuel Chukwueze is currently on his way to London to undergo a medical ahead of joining Fulham, reports claim.
According to Matteo Moretto, Chukwueze is on his way to England this evening. The negotiation between Milan and Fulham is not yet 100% closed, but the player is flying there preemptively to be ready for medical visits and signing.
The operation is in the process of being finalised and it is of course expected to be completed before tomorrow's deadline. As a reminder, the window shuts in Italy at 20:00 CEST.
MilanNews are also reporting that the Nigerian winger is London-bound, putting an end to weeks of speculation about whether or not he will remain at Milan under Massimiliano Allegri.
The offloading of yet another winger – after Noah Okafor joined Leeds United – seems to suggest that Allegri plans to persist with playing a three-man defence with two strikers.
In other news, it appears as though Artem Dovbyk could end up arriving from Roma with Santiago Gimenez heading the other way, so it promises to be a busy deadline day.

Fulham on brink of deal for Chukwueze as AC Milan winger heads to London for medicalFulham are reportedly closing in on the signing of Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze as Marco Silva looks to strengthen his attacking options before the close of the transfer window.
According to The Times reporter Peter Rutzler, the 26-year-old winger is on his way to London and is scheduled to undergo a medical on Monday, with the deal expected to be finalized on deadline day.
The move would see Chukwueze join the Cottagers on loan from AC Milan.
Fulham have been scouring the market for wide players in recent weeks, with Arsenal's Reiss Nelson, Chelsea's Raheem Sterling and FC Basel's Philip Otele among those linked.
However, the London club appear to have made Chukwueze their priority target.
The Super Eagles forward, who joined Milan from Villarreal in July 2023, struggled to replicate his La Liga form in Serie A, managing just three goals in the division last season.
He arrived at AC Milan with a reputation as one of Spain's most exciting young attackers, having previously been a standout for Villarreal.
A graduate of Diamond Football Academy in Nigeria, Chukwueze burst onto the scene as part of the Golden Eaglets squad that lifted the Fifa U17 World Cup in 2015.
Since then, he has gone on to record 80 goal contributions in 277 club appearances across Villarreal and Milan.
On the international stage, he has earned 46 caps for Nigeria, scoring seven goals.
With his transfer set to be completed, Chukwueze is unlikely to report for international duty in Uyo on Monday ahead of Nigeria's 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
Should the move be finalized, he will become the third Nigeria international in the Fulham squad, linking up with compatriots Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage.

Sky Sports: Fulham 'in Talks' to Sign AC Milan Star in Major Move
Fulham Continue Pursuit of AC Milan Winger Chukwueze
Fulham are pressing ahead with their recruitment plans as the transfer window edges towards its final stages, with focus fixed on strengthening the wide positions. According to a detailed report from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas, the west London club remain in discussions with AC Milan regarding Samuel Chukwueze.
The Nigeria international has been admired by Fulham for some time. As Sky Sports confirm, "The 26-year-old is a long-term target, and Fulham made offers for the Nigeria international in January." That pursuit has not diminished, with the Cottagers eager to secure another attacking option following the addition of Adama Traoré earlier in the summer.
Chukwueze Remains Key Focus
Fulham's hierarchy are convinced Chukwueze could add significant quality to their forward line. His profile as a direct, pace-driven wide player fits well with the side's style under Marco Silva. "Fulham still want to sign a second winger after Kevin and remain in talks for AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze," Sky Sports report.
Interest from England has surrounded the player for multiple windows, but Fulham's intent appears stronger than ever. Those close to negotiations suggest progress is steady, though the complexity of dealing with Milan has required patience.
Alternative Winger Targets Under Review
While Chukwueze is considered the priority, Fulham have also assessed other players. As highlighted in the Sky Sports report, "Fulham also admire Dilane Bakwa – a player Nottingham Forest are in talks for – but Chukwueze is thought to be the priority." Bakwa's emergence as a sought-after prospect makes competition intense, yet Fulham's pursuit underlines their ambition to widen options.
Further names in the mix include Arsenal's Reiss Nelson, who remains monitored by multiple Premier League clubs, and Chelsea's Raheem Sterling, who could be considered on a loan basis. "Fulham have also been interested in Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, who also remains a target for Crystal Palace, and potentially Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling on loan."
Squad-Building for Long-Term Success
Marco Silva has been clear about the need for added depth, particularly with European competition on the horizon. The club's strategy has been to recruit experienced Premier League performers, combined with talent from abroad that can raise the ceiling of the side's quality.
Chukwueze's pace, creativity and Champions League experience with Milan would provide immediate impact. While negotiations remain ongoing, Fulham's persistence signals a club determined to progress further up the table.
Our View – EPL Index Analysis
As a Fulham supporter reading this update, excitement is impossible to ignore. The fact that Sky Sports are reporting continuous negotiations for Samuel Chukwueze shows how serious the club are about taking the next step. It is refreshing to see Fulham targeting players of this calibre. Chukwueze has been tested at the highest level with Villarreal and Milan, and his ability to beat defenders one-on-one is exactly what we need.
Fans have been crying out for more pace and unpredictability in attack. With Adama Traoré already through the door, adding Chukwueze would give Marco Silva two wide players capable of frightening opposition defences. Imagine Chukwueze cutting inside from the right and linking up with Raúl Jiménez or Rodrigo Muniz, it could transform the way we attack teams at Craven Cottage.
Of course, names like Reiss Nelson and Raheem Sterling are appealing, but Chukwueze feels different. He has that hunger and edge, the sort of player who can win matches on his own. Fulham are not only securing their Premier League status anymore, they are aiming to push into the top half with style. If the club can pull this deal off, it will be one of the most exciting signings in recent years.

'What's the point of VAR?' asks Robinson
Fulham full back Antonee Robinson has described Premier League refereeing as 'shocking' and questioned the use of VAR after the PGMOL apologised to the club for ruling out Josh King's goal in the SW6 derby on Saturday.
The American international posted to Instagram:
"If they can check something for five minutes and still get it wrong, then what's actually the point? Standard of officiating in the Prem has been shocking for a while now."

Fulham transfer news: AC Milan attacker 'on way' to London ahead of medical, with Cottagers 'closing in' on agreement
AC Milan attacker Samuel Chukwueze has reportedly travelled to London ahead of a potential loan move to Fulham.
The Cottagers are keen to bring in reinforcements before Monday's deadline, having made just one new addition in the summer transfer window.
Fulham are hoping to recruit Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin, who is already in London ahead of his proposed switch.
The West London club are believed to be looking to sign another winger before the market slams shut after losing Willian and Reiss Nelson at the end of last season.
Chukwueze travelling to London ahead of Fulham switch
According to Sky Sports News, Fulham are closing in on an agreement to sign long-term target Chukwueze from AC Milan.
The report suggests that the Cottagers are looking to sign the former Villarreal man on a season-long loan deal.
In a separate update, journalist Pete Rutzler claims that Chukwueze is on his way to London to complete a medical.
However, Fulham still need to finalise a deal with Milan before they can finalise Chukwueze's move to Craven Cottage before the window shuts at 7pm on Monday.
Who is Fulham's transfer target?
Chukwueze scored 37 goals and provided 29 assists in 207 matches for Villarreal, before he completed a move to Italian giants AC Milan in the summer of 2023.
The 26-year-old has made 70 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri, but he has been unable to establish himself as a regular fixture in the starting lineup.
Chukwueze's situation has not changed following the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri, who has used the winger in just one of his first three matches in charge.
As a result, Chukwueze hopes that a potential move to Fulham will offer him the chance to play regular football, while it would also allow him to try a new challenge in a different league.
Chukwueze and Kevin could add to Marco Silva's current wide options, which include Harry Wilson, Alex Iwobi and Adama Traore.

Div 1 Champs 25 years on: September(https://images.webapi.fulhamfc.com/fit-in/1600x1600/bbfc6310-8408-11f0-8a58-bd606c051fa9.jpg)
To commemorate the 25 year anniversary of Fulham's 2000/01 title winning season, at the start of every month we will look back on how Jean Tigana's side fared this time quarter of a century ago.September
After a stunning August which had seen Jean Tigana named Division One Manager of the Month, Fulham embarked on an absolutely chock-a-block September, which featured no fewer than eight First Team matches.
The month kicked off with a 4-1 win over Northampton in the League Cup, ensuring a successful overturn of the 1-0 defeat in the First Leg at Sixfields. We had trailed 2-0 in the tie after Ian Sampson's earlier opener at the Cottage, but a second quick free-kick goal of the season from Sean Davis drew us level on the night on the stroke of half-time.
"I just did it instinctively," Davis said. "I don't get forward that much in the position I play so I don't really get a chance to score many goals so it's the only chance I get to score- when the keeper isn't really looking!"
That goal prompted a much improved second half performance, with a Louis Saha brace following a Fabrice Fernandes worldie chip to book our spot in Round Two. The game also saw Zat Knight make his debut for the Club.
The Sky cameras were at the Cottage the following Sunday, for a meeting with a side who did the double over Fulham the previous season, leading Chris Coleman to expect a difficult afternoon.
"Today's game will be our toughest test, home or away, so far this season. Barnsley were one of last season's leading lights in Division One and they gave us a real runaround at the Cottage."
But a stern test, it was not. The Whites were three up by the break courtesy of a Saha hat-trick, with Barry Hayles and Luis Boa Morte adding some gloss either side of a Matty Appleby consolation.
Barnsley also played the last quarter of the game with 10 men, but Mitch Ward managed to get in a few extra minutes on the pitch, when the referee neglected to remember that he had already booked the Tykes midfielder.
"It hurts me to say it, but they were much better than us," Barnsley boss Dave Bassett said post-match.
Absurdly, the Whites were in Division One action again just two days later, but shrugged off any fatigue to dispatch of Burnley 3-1.
Bjarne Goldbaek was Man of the Match that evening having scored his side's equalising goal with a stunning long range free-kick, and fans may remember him having words with opposition manager Stan Ternent, after the winger took umbrage with the Clarets' physical nature.
Saha's eighth and ninth goals of the season maintained our 100 per cent start to the season.
A fuel shortage meant it was a stressful day for anyone on the Club coaches up to Nottingham Forest that weekend, but thankfully the result will have negated any travel frustrations.
Saha's penalty just before the hour mark broke the deadlock, before Fernandes and Hayles netted within a minute of each other late on to make the game safe.
As was the case in the last round, Fulham slipped to a 1-0 defeat in the First Leg of our League Cup tie with Chesterfield, but again responded with aplomb at the Cottage, putting four past them without reply courtesy of Steve Hayward, Kit Symons, Hayles and Boa Morte.
In between those meetings with the Spireites, we hosted Gillingham in SW6. Hayles dazzled in the 3-0 victory, scoring two wonderful goals himself in addition to setting up Lee Clark.
September ended with arguably our most daunting prospect to date. Bolton Wanderers had been one of the pre-season favourites, and were living up to those expectations by winning six and drawing two of their opening eight matches.
But within 12 seconds, Fulham were in front at the Reebok Stadium, with Boa Morte – in for the injured Saha – pouncing after our hosts had squandered possession from their own kick-off.
The Whites were by far the more positive throughout the afternoon, but had to wait 84 more minutes to put the game to bed, and it was Boa Morte once again who fired home after Jussi Jaaskelainen had parried his initial effort, sending the travelling fans behind the goal into delirium.
It was a statement win, and one which meant only Fulham and Watford remained unbeaten in Division One.
Next up? 13th placed Blackburn Rovers at the Cottage in mid-October...

Christantus Uche set to join Crystal Palace as deal agreed
Versatile Getafe attacker is reportedly on the verge of joining Crystal Palace in a deal worth around €20 million in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet AS, Christantus Uche has been the subject of interest from Crystal Palace. The South London club faced stiff competition from Fulham and Leeds United for the Nigerian international attacker's signature. However, the Eagles have struck an agreement with La Liga club Getafe over a deal worth €20 million, with the youngster travelling to London for his medical tests.
Christantus Uche and his short spell in La Liga
Christantus Uche has been one of the most promising young attacking prospects in La Liga since joining Getafe from AD Ceuta last summer. The 22-year-old has been a pivotal figure at Coliseum Alfonso Perez in his 12 months with the Spanish outfit, going from strength to strength with each performance.
The Nigerian attacking midfielder has contributed to 13 goals in 41 outings thus far for Getafe, finding the back of the net five times and providing eight assists. Meanwhile, Uche's progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known Premier League clubs. Fulham, Leeds United, and Crystal Palace have been among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the final days of the summer transfer window.
A man in demand, but one who has his next destination clear
Fulham will dip into the market for multiple attackers in the final hours of the summer transfer window. Marco Silva has endured a frustrating summer, with the West London club struggling to back him with adequate signings. With Alex Iwobi, Emile Smith Rowe, and Rodrigo Muniz needing more support in the final third, Uche emerged as a viable target for Fulham.
Meanwhile, Leeds United's interest in Christantus Uche made sense. The Whites are combing the market for a versatile and creative attacker in the final hours of the summer transfer window, as Daniel Farke wants more firepower in the final third despite signing several attackers. So, the Getafe attacker was an option worth considering, with Leeds United swooping in for him after his move to Wolverhampton Wanderers collapsed this week.
However, Fulham and Leeds United must look elsewhere for an attacker, with Crystal Palace winning the battle for his signature. The Eagles have secured an agreement over a deal worth €20 million with La Liga club Getafe, with the youngster travelling to London for his medical tests. While Yeremy Pino has reinforced the Crystal Palace attack, the South London outfit needed more from the market to fill Eberechi Eze's void at Selhurst Park
While the report by AS has claimed that Crystal Palace and Getafe must wait to hash out the fine details of the agreement, Fabrizio Romano has suggested that the Azulones "expect all formal steps to be respected on Monday" to seal the 22-year-old Nigerian international's departure.

Fulham closing move for Milan's Samuel Chukwueze
Serie A giants Milan are finally about to part ways with winger Samuel Chukwueze, who is nearing a move to Fulham.
Talks regarding the move have been ongoing for days now and the London club also tried to sign the Nigerian late in the January transfer window. A move fell through due to the lack of time left in the window.
Now, a deal is close to being done. Gianluca di Marzio has reported that a deal is very close to being finalised and it can be done in the next hour. The wide player will join Fulham on an initial loan deal.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that talks have been ongoing for days and Chukwueze is expected to land in London later today to undergo a medical.
Fulham's total deal is expected to cost €25 million, with exact details about the transfer yet to fully emerge.

Sunderland 'Wasting No Time' As Deal Agreed For Striker Amid Fulham Failing With Offer
Sunderland 'are wasting no time' and have reached a 'general agreement' to sign Ajax striker Brian Brobbey on deadline day, after Fulham failed with an approach.
Black Cats boss Regis Le Bris has been keen to strengthen his attacking options and that need became more urgent in recent hours.
Le Bris agreed to Sunderland cancelling their loan of Chelsea striker Marc Guiu, despite the club having no contractual need to send him back in this window.
That has led to the need to land a striker now and Sunderland have been working to capture Ajax man Brobbey.
According to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, Sunderland 'are wasting no time' and made an initial offer for Brobbey last night.
There is now a 'general agreement' in place on the basis of a transfer fee of €20m plus a further €5m in add-ons to take Brobbey to the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland now need to agree personal terms with the striker, with a five-year contract on the table for him to sign.
Brobbey was not in Ajax's squad for their weekend game against Volendam, with the striker given an opportunity to arrange an exit.
He has been linked with a number of clubs over the course of the transfer window, including Roma, Rennes, Lille and Como.
The striker turned down Italian Serie A side Como as an option.
Fulham 'also knocked on the door' for Brobbey on Sunday, however the Cottagers wanted to sign the striker on a loan agreement and that was not something Ajax were prepared to agree to.
Sunderland will now want to move quickly as the English transfer window has been moved to a 7pm close, from the usual time of 11pm, in a factor which makes doing international transfers on the final day all the harder.

Player already in London to complete Fulham move on deadline day – Medical on Monday
Fulham have been pursuing a deal for AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze this summer.
Last week, journalist Orazio Accomando reported the Premier League club have agreed a fee with the Rossoneri, but the two clubs are yet to negotiate the transfer formula.
Gianluca Di Marzio provides the latest on Fulham's ongoing pursuit of the winger on deadline day.
He says the Nigeria international is 'increasingly closer' to joining Marco Silva's side as the two clubs are edging closer to finalising the terms of a loan move.
Fulham have found an agreement with the Serie A club if Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo is to be believed.
He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report the 26-year-old is already in London to complete Fulham move. The journalist adds he will undergo medical tests with the English club on Monday.
In another post on X, Longo provides additional details of the agreement between the two clubs.
He reports Fulham have a purchase option, which will be converted into an obligation if certain set conditions are met. Longo hasn't explained those conditions and adds that the overall package [likely including loan fee] is around €25m.
Chukwueze is all set to join the London club on deadline day.

Fulham's Martial Godo to sign five-year deal at Strasbourg
Martial Godo (22) is set to complete a move from Fulham to RC Strasbourg Alsace, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.
Strasbourg have already been extremely active in the transfer window, making 15 signings. The spending is expected to continue on deadline day.
Godo has played only six games for his formative club, registering one assist in that time. He spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Wigan Athletic, where he scored four goals and registered four assists in League One.
He is now set for a move to Ligue 1. As initially reported by Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the Ivory Coast international is set for a move to the Meinau. Romano understands that the deal is worth over €7m. The winger is now set to sign a five-year deal with Le Racing.
There could also be departures at Strasbourg today. Dilane Bakwa has been a key target for several Premier League sides this season and further bids are expected.

Fulham's Godo set for Strasbourg move
Martial Godo is set to leave Fulham to join Strasbourg.
The 22 year-old winger has agreed a five-year contract and is expected to move for a fee of around £6m.
He made six first-team appearances for the Whites, and had loan spell at Wigan Athletic in 2023.
Godo impressed in the Fulham academy from 2022, scoring 15 goals in 39 appearances for the Under-21s.
Injuries to a couple of first-team wingers dented his chances of going out on loan last season, when a number of Championship sides were keen on the Ivory Coast international.
Godo will join up with former Fulham player, and now Strasbourg manager, Liam Rosenior, in France.

SIX Fulham targets revealed as two spectacular deadline day deals near completion – sources
Fulham's push for new faces has seen the west Londoners draw up two lists of wanted players, with their 'A' and 'B' targets told to be ready to make a late move, TEAMtalk understands.
Marco Silva has expressed his frustration in this summer's transfer window, bemoaning his club's lack of activity.
That is set to change on deadline day, with several wingers under consideration by the Cottagers.
A club record £34m deal for Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian forward Kevin is close to completion after the South American winger underwent a medical on Sunday.
We also understand that, barring any late complications, Fulham will also sign AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze on loan.
TEAMtalk reported Fulham's interest in Chukwueze on August 27, and now a loan deal is moving towards completion – both Kevin and Chukwueze are considered priority targets for Fulham.
However, Silva wants at least one more deadline day addition, with Arsenal's Reiss Nelson still high on his list despite Crystal Palace also exploring a deal.
Fulham considering Arsenal, Chelsea stars
Nelson, 25, spent the first half of last season on loan in west London before injury curtailed his campaign, but a return to Fulham could still be on the cards.
TEAMtalk first reported Fulham's renewed interest in the Arsenal star on July 23 and he remains under consideration in the final hours of the transfer window.
FC Basel winger Phillip Ortele is another player who is admired, and the Nigerian has been offered to Fulham, Brighton and Bournemouth.
It's also believed that Feyenoord's Hwang In-beom has also been scouted by the Cottages and is another player on their 'B' list.
Chelsea outcast Raheem Sterling has been mentioned and although he wants to stay in London, his wages are proving problematic.

Fulham close in on Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze double deal on Deadline Day
The pair will have medicals on Monday in a double deal potentially worth £60million
Fulham are closing in on deals for Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin on deadline day.
Kevin, who was left out of Shakhtar Donetsk's squad ahead of their 2-0 win over FC Oleksandriya on Sunday, is undergoing a medical, having agreed personal terms ahead of a club-record move.
Fulham have agreed a £34.6million fee for Kevin, eclipsing the £27m paid for Emile Smith Rowe last summer.
Kevin scored nine goals and provided four assists last season, particularly impressing for Shakhtar in the Champions League.
Standard Sport understands that Chukwueze is set to sign on loan, with an option to buy set at between £22-26m.
The 26-year-old, who started just nine games for AC Milan last season, is due to undergo a medical later today.
Fulham have been in the market for a winger all summer and hold a longstanding interest in Arsenal's Reiss Nelson.
Marco Silva wants to bring in two new wingers before the transfer deadline, with academy graduate Martial Godo set to complete a move to Strasbourg.
Godo completed a medical with the Ligue 1 side on Sunday ahead of a £6m move.
Fulham have endured a difficult summer, having so far only managed to bring in backup goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, but they are expected to be busy before the deadline, with deals for Kevin and Chukwueze close to completion.
Having focused on contract renewals for much of the summer, Fulham have now stepped up their efforts to bring players in before tonight's deadline.

Besiktas join Fulham in race to sign Arsenal winger
Fulham remain in talks to sign Reiss Nelson on a deadline-day loan, but Besiktas have entered the race and would have more time to complete a deal.
Going into deadline day, Peter Rutzler of The Times had reported that though Fulham have held an interest in Reiss Nelson, they're currently looking to complete deals for Kevin of Shakhtar Donetsk and Samuel Chukwueze of AC Milan.
All the same, Isaan Khan of the Daily Mail and Ryan Taylor of the Mirror reported on Monday morning that Fulham remain in talks over a loan for Nelson, and a deal is still possible.
Yet if it doesn't work out, it seems Nelson has a backup plan in Turkish side Besiktas.
James Benge reports for CBS Sports that Besiktas are interested in Nelson and willing to offer him a payrise this summer. Though Nelson would prefer to remain in England, Besiktas have the advantage of a transfer window that doesn't close until September 12th.
If Nelson's move to Fulham falls through on deadline day, the winger's options to remain in England would effectively drop to just one – making it back into Mikel Arteta's starting lineup.
At that point, maybe a move to Turkey with a pay increase starts to become a lot more appealing.
The situation could seemingly still go either way. Fulham want to sign two wingers on deadline day, so if moves for either Kevin or Chukwueze fall through Nelson could then complete a late transfer. It's one to watch in the final hours.

Nottingham Forest's £30m transfer raid 'alive' again in brutal deadline day hammer blow to Fulham
Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on a transfer deal with would see them beat Fulham to a £30m winger.
Nottingham Forest have agreed a deadline day deal with RC Strasbourg for the transfer of a former France Under-21 international winger, according to a new report – and could spoil Fulham's transfer plans in the process.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claimed on Monday morning that a deal to bring 23-year-old Dilane Bakwa to the City Ground remained "alive" and that an agreement in principle has been reached which would see Bakwa sign for Forest for an estimated €35m (£30m).
Strasbourg and Fulham had reportedly agreed terms already, but Bakwa is said to prefer a move to Forest – potentially leaving Marco Silva's side stranded with just hours left in the transfer window.
Why Nottingham Forest are bidding to sign Dilane Bakwa
Although Nottingham Forest have already signed Dan Ndoye from Bologna to replace the departed Anthony Elanga, there has always been a desire for additional depth across the attacking line as the club prepare for their first European campaign in three decades.
Bakwa, a right winger who can also operate as a wing-back or centre-forward if required, has scored nine goals in 68 games for Strasbourg since signing from fallen French giants Bordeaux in 2023, and has also won six caps for France's Under-21s.
Noted for his dribbling skill and ability to get open in the final third, Bakwa should suit Forest's direct and counter-attacking style under current head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and a price tag of £30m is not viewed as being prohibitively expensive.
Should Forest complete a deal for the Frenchman, Bakwa would become their 11th signing of the summer transfer window following deals for fellow attacking players James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson, Arnaut Kalimuendo, Igor Jesus and Ndoye – many of whom arrived after Santo publicly complained about a lack of summer transfer activity.
Fulham had hoped to complete a deal for Bakwa themselves and had agreed a transfer fee with Strasbourg, but Bakwa is said to prefer a move to the City Ground and with Forest now reportedly firming up their interest, a potential move to Craven Cottage may well be off.
Fulham left reeling on transfer deadline day - but other irons are in the fire
The potential death of a deal for Bakwa leaves Fulham in a difficult position on the final day of the summer transfer window despite expectations that they will seal the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk forward Kevin for a reported £35m before the deadline passes.
Fulham hope to sign two wingers to bolster Marco Silva's squad after a very slow start to their summer transfer business, but one key target may now be unobtainable – although BBC Sport reports that AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze remains a potential alternative target.
Other names linked with a move to Fulham include former loanee Reiss Nelson and Chelsea's Raheem Sterling, so it remains likely that the Cottagers will be able to find the attacking reinforcements that they need ahead of Monday's 7pm deadline – although their hopes of agreeing a deal for Bakwa appear to have been dashed late on.
As it stands, the only signing that Fulham have made this summer is a €500k deal for back-up goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, making them the team which have spent the last in the Premier League, although a deal for Kevin could push them ahead of Crystal Palace and Aston Villa in the spending stakes, at least initially. Fulham hope to confirm the arrival of the Shakhtar forward on Monday.

Fabrizio Romano: Fulham Eyeing Late Move to Sign £350,000-a-Week Star
Chelsea star Raheem Sterling could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in the final hours of the summer transfer window, according to reports - with Fulham thought to be ready to 'revive' a deal for the England icon.
There is no doubting Sterling's quality; 396 appearances in the Premier League is an incredible tally, having scored 123 goals in the process in the top-flight - but he may need to drop from a 'Big Six' outfit to establish himself in the top-flight again after failing to nail down a starting spot at Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano: Fulham 'Revive' Raheem Sterling Bid
The report by GIVEMESPORT transfer correspondent Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter) states that Fulham have revived talks to land Sterling after being linked earlier in the window, with the Cottagers having failed to agree personal terms with Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin despite an agreement with the Ukrainian side - leaving them with little time to find a potential alternative.
https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1962476589721010368
If they can't land the Brazilian speedster, then Chelsea's £350,000-a-week forgotten man could make the short trip to Craven Cottage, having fallen out of favour under Enzo Maresca since the start of last season.
Sterling was frozen out by Maresca upon the Italian's arrival at Stamford Bridge, venturing on loan to Arsenal last season - but the Premier League legend was unable to find his best form at the Emirates Stadium, somewhat diminishing his status in the top-flight.
Fulham finished in mid-table last season, and someone with Sterling's experience and quality could be the ideal move to fire them into European contention after a poor start to the league campaign.

Fabrizio Romano: Fulham 'revive' transfer interest in Chelsea ace who is West Ham and Crystal Palace target
Fulham are in the hunt for reinforcements as Marco Silva looks to inject some fresh blood into his ranks
Fulham's quiet transfer window may be about spring into life on the final day as the Whites search for new faces. Marco Silva's side have two points on the board from their first three fixtures of the new Premier League season. They were beaten 2-0 away at Chelsea and their defeat at Stamford Bridge highlighted the need for some fresh additions.
The London club opted to be patient with their recruitment this summer. They didn't rush into any deals and decided to stick with what they had in their squad already. However, as the deadline edges closer, they are now eyeing late deals.
Fulham target Raheem Sterling deal
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano on X, Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has emerged as an option for Fulham. He spent time on loan at Arsenal in the last campaign but is now back with the Blues. He is in limbo at the moment though and his future is up in the air. West Ham and Crystal Palace have also been mentioned as suitors recently, as per talkSPORT.
Reporter Romano has posted on social media: "EXCL: Fulham revive Raheem Sterling as talks continue also for Kevin (no agreement with the player) and Samu Chukwueze. Sterling, option considered by #FFC today."
Sterling, 30, is under contract at Chelsea until 2027 meaning he still has two years left to run. He appears to be surplus to requirements under Enzo Maresca though. He has been with his current club since 2022 but hasn't been able to make the impact he would have wanted to.
The Jamaica-born man made his name as a youngster at Liverpool and broke into their first-team as a teenager. Manchester City then came calling and he spent seven years at the Etihad Stadium. He went on to make 339 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side and scored 131 goals.
Would Raheem Sterling suit Fulham?
Fulham head coach Silva may feel he can get the best out of Sterling. The Cottagers would be able to offer him regular game time which is what he needs at this stage of his career. In addition, he requires a platform to show what he can do as he may feel he has a point to prove at the top level still after a stagnant past few years.
If he joined the Whites, he would give them another option up top. He would give them more competition and depth on wing and something different. He is a vastly experienced operator with 577 games under his belt.
After linking up with Arsenal 12 months ago, he said at the time: "I'm buzzing. It's one where we left it late but it's one I was hoping for. Looking at everything, I'm just like: 'this is a perfect fit for me', and I'm super happy that we got it over the line. It's a perfect fit for myself to be at a football club like this, where you can see that hunger, that desire, year on year, they are pushing and pushing and pushing. That's exactly how I am as a person.
"Each year you want to get better and do better than the previous year. Hopefully I can gel really well with the boys and get going. It's time now to meet the boys, get settled in and hopefully now see some game time and make my mark."

Fulham in battle with 2 other clubs for 'last-minute' signing – Approach made, club listening to offers
Fulham are in contention to sign Bayern Munich's Jonah Kusi-Asare before the summer window closes later today.
That's at least what Sky Deutschland are reporting, and they state Fulham, Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven all want to secure the 18-year-old's services.
Sky's title states there's been multiple offers, and within the report it's explained Bayern Munich received these bids over the weekend.
It's further claimed Marco Silva's side, PSV and Anderlecht have already held talks to sign the striker.
The Swede is in his final year of contract and has played only four minutes for the first team this season. The Bundesliga winners' desire is to retain and also extend his contract. Sky, however, report they are also willing to listen to offers, so they sound open to ideas.
Sky mention Vincent Kompany's side could sanction a loan, provided they bring in a new attacker themselves. If Kusi-Asare is allowed to go out on loan, the Bavarian club will risk losing him for nothing next summer so would have to secure an extension first.
Marco Silva's side, PSV and Anderlecht are battling to sign the youngster. The latter two have an advantage over Fulham as their windows don't close today.

Fulham 'Making Strong Efforts' To Land Bayern Munich Talent
Fulham are among three clubs making strong efforts to land Jonah Kusi-Asare, but Bayern Munich will only sanction a departure if they sign a forward.
The Craven Cottage side have been one of the clubs in the Premier League who have not had a busy transfer window on the incomings front.
However, Cottagers boss Marco Silva would like to strengthen his forward department before the window closes tonight.
Early in the window Fulham faced the threat of losing their main man in the attack in the form of Rodrigo Muniz, who was on Leeds United and Atalanta's agenda.
Muniz wanted to join Atalanta but a move failed to materialise and the Bergamo outfit moved on to other targets.
Despite keeping hold of Muniz, Silva feels a boost in the attacking department is needed and they are interested in signing Bayern Munich's young forward Kusi-Asare.
Several clubs in Europe are showing interest in the 18-year-old, who is highly rated in Germany, and PSV Eindhoven and Anderlecht, along with Fulham, are 'making strong efforts'.
According to German journalist Kerry Hau, the trio are trying their best to convince Bayern Munich to part with the teenage attacker.
However, the Bavarian giants will only approve a move if they are able to bring in a replacement.
Bayern Munich were keen on signing Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson but saw a move fall through in recent days.
Now Kusi-Asare has entered the final year of his contract with the German outfit and in terms of a loan deal, they would have to extend his contract.
It is suggested that Kusi-Asare is currently in limbo over his future.
Fulham went in with an offer for Ajax striker Brian Brobbey, who is moving to Sunderland, but it was just a loan proposal and was rejected.

Kevin Move Stalls: Record Fee Risk Or Reward?
Kevin arrives in London, the medical is done.. maybe. Club to club deal agreed? Certainly. Negotiations with the player look... hesitant.
Welcome to the big smoke, Kev? Big money, big fan-fair, a signing at last, Perhaps? Should Fulham fans push for the Whites to smash our transfer record, with a £34M fee? Or should we happy talks seem to be stalling? I speak to Ukrainian football experts, Zorya Londonsk to find out.
Long held prayers for a player with x-factor talent have been answered. Our technically exquisite 22 year old Samba showman is on the scene. Kevin has bags of potential. Tricky, skilful, jam packed full of samba flair – Kevin has showed in domestic, and European football that he can make a mockery of his opposing full back.
Kev's 5.1 take-ons per 90 and 4.9 successful carries per 90, that leave Kevin in the top one percentile of wingers in Europe for said stats, just prove my point.
The stereotypical, young, gifted Brazilian profile dosent suffice. The Donetsk man combines Brazilian skill with a hardworking defenders attitude making him perfect for a Silva wide role that requires plenty of off the ball application. 3.72 tackles and interceptions per 90 confirms that.
No matter how the Brazilian works out on the banks of the Thames, Kevin's direct dynamism will provide Fulham a first young creatively able asset ability to partner, the emergence of Josh King – with 'King & Kev' a duo that will get even the most plush ebbs of the Riverside on their feet. Kevin's inside moves will just unlock further space for the underlapping runs of Josh King. Something essential in a often predictable Fulham attack.
Speaking To Ukrainian Football Experts: Andrew From Zorya Londonsk
Many havent seen much of Kevin, so I spoke to somebody that certainly has. The number one source of English-speaking Ukranian football talk, Ukranian football experts, Zorya Londonsk. Here's what Andrew, from Zorya Londonsk, had to say:
''He's (Kevin) a skilful dribbler, with very good close ball control. Add to that his pace and he's perfect for playing on the counter. Last season he became a regular starter and instantly integral to Shakhtar's attack.''
''Reliable for assists – strong at passing. Crosses definitely have room for improvement. One of those wingers who loves to get in at the back post – so gets the odd goal from there on top of sweeping transitional moves.''
''Playing in the Ukrainian Premier League – he's (Kevin) been up against a lot of 10 men behind the ball style sides. So he will need to adapt to the intensity and physicality of the league up against much more aggressive sides. Currently quite slight in his build. Let's see how he fares against that week in week out. Likely to be tough – initially.''
''Can draw comparisons to Willian (when he was younger and a more consistent Manor Solomon).''
For all things Ukrainian football, check out Zorya Londonsk's website, at https://zoryalondonsk.com/
Cheers for featuring, Andrew!
Analysing Expert Comments
''Perfect for playing on the counter''. Promising words. We all know Fulham look best at tempo, on the break. Andrew suggests, Kevin will play into that. Fulham lack a direct winger, Kevin seems a far cry from the stagnancy that an Alex Iwobi has showcased promoted in recent months... Some samba flair to wave goodbye the final third failings of last season? Yes please.
''Crosses definitely have room for improvement.'' That comments brought across my first sign of worry. Fulham push the ball wide when opposing low blocks, if Kevin isn't shown inside, and is forced up the byline, could Kev become unstuck? As Andrew says, It's fair to say, the São Paulo native isn't the finished article. Hit the ground running? I don't think so. Some may suggest, that may not be what you want to spend a club record, £34m on...
The Willian comparisons, promising indeed. If given time, especially under a master developer of talent like Marco Silva, in an environment built for a Lusophone speaker, like Kevin, he may flourish. Kevin is the right age profile for bringing down the age profile of Marco Silva's squad, something that Tony Khan should have tackled months back in this window.
My Verdict On Kevin
I don't doubt Kevin's potential, if Shakhtar weren't demanding £34m alongside a 25% sell on, I'd be clamouring for this move. However, he's not the finished article. I just think there is better on the market for that price point. Dilane Bakwa for £30M anyone?
My reservations lie in the details of the deal, not the potential of Kevin.
Fulham need a balance between talent now and potential for the future. The Whites need a ceiling raiser. He may be in the future, but this season, I doubt Kevin does that. All signs point to the 22 year old needing time to develop a wide array of skills. We need them now. Windows for success are short in the PL. Capitalise now. Marco won't be in the job for long...
But that's just my opinion, if Silva wants him, back him. Get Marco his man. Fulham's want for late business has backed us into a corner. FFC may well have to take a big swing, take a big risk. In a few years, Kevin looks to be a top player, it may well pay off. It's just a massive fee to be paying for such an unknown figure, for a team of the stature of Fulham.

Exclusive: Fulham Make Contact to Sign Midfielder Alongside Sterling
Fulham head coach Marco Silva has shown late interest in Hwang In-beom and is determined to discover whether it would be possible to welcome the Feyenoord star to Craven Cottage before the summer transfer window slams shut later today, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.
Although the Cottagers have revived their interest in Raheem Sterling, who has been frozen out by Premier League rivals Chelsea since his return from a loan spell at Arsenal, the west Londoners are eager to secure further reinforcements before the fast-approaching 7pm deadline.
Silva Showing Interest in Late Deal for Hwang
Fulham have made a deadline day enquiry to sign Hwang, according to GMS sources, as he fits the bill after the capital club have decided to search for new options in the middle of the park who are capable of creating opportunities from deep as they aim to become more threatening in the final third of the pitch.
The South Korea international, who still has three years remaining on a contract which allows him to pocket close to £25,000-per-week, is firmly in the Cottagers' sights and may be handed the opportunity to embark on a fresh challenge in the Premier League for the first time in his career if Eredivisie side Feyenoord show a willingness to do business.
GMS sources have been informed that Fulham are confident that Hwang would add another layer to their squad due to his consistent performances in the heart of the midfield, but they have left their pursuit late and that has risked angering boss Silva after he has been desperate to secure acquisitions.

Fulham target £47m Chelsea outcast after missing out on Arsenal star
Fulham have revived their interest in a Chelsea forward after missing out on Arsenal's Reiss Nelson who will sign for Brentford on transfer deadline day.
Nelson is among a number of players Mikel Arteta has been trying to move on all summer, a group that also includes Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga.
The winger, who spent last season on loan at Fulham, had been linked with a return to Craven Cottage as well as Crystal Palace as a replacement for Eberechi Eze.
However, a different London club is set to land the 25-year-old, with Brentford close to agreeing a loan deal with Arsenal, which may include an option to buy next summer.
Manager Marco Silva has not been impressed with Fulham's lack of transfer activity this summer, having signed just one player, goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, for less than £500,000 at the time of writing.
Talks are ongoing for two wingers, Shakhtar Donetsk's Kevin and AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze, but a third option is also on the cards.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the Cottagers are back in the race to sign Raheem Sterling, who needs to leave Chelsea or risk spending the season on the sidelines.
Enzo Maresca told Sterling last summer that he has no future at Stamford Bridge having only signed from Manchester City in 2022 for £47.5million.
He managed to escape to Arsenal on loan on deadline day last year but it ended it being one of the worst transfers of the season, as he scored just one goal in 28 appearances.
The 30-year-old has been training away from Chelsea's first-team and despite his strong reputation and previous success at the Etihad, interest has been slim.
Raheem Sterling Premier League stats
Clubs: Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal
Appearances: 396
Goals: 123
Assists: 75
Trophies: Premier League (2017/18, 2018/19, 2020/21, 2021/22), FA Cup (2018/19), League Cup (2015/16, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21)
It is said the England international wants to remain in the Premier League and preferably in London where his family are settled and Chelsea would be willing to loan him again despite initially wanting £20m.
West Ham and Palace have also been linked but a move to the latter seems highly unlikely after the Eagles signed Yeremy Pino, with Christantus Uche also set to arrive from Getafe on deadline day.
Sterling is among several 'bomb-squad' players Chelsea are trying to push out the door before the deadline, a group that also includes Ben Chilwell and Tyrique George.

Alan Shearer launches sensational VAR rant on PGMOL 'bulls***' after Chelsea controversy
Alan Shearer did not hold back in his scathing criticism of VAR and Premier League referees after PGMOL chief Howard Webb was forced to apologise for another calamitous error during Chelsea vs Fulham
Alan Shearer launched a fiery attack on the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) while blasting the "bull****" decision against Fulham.
Saturday's early kick-off in the Premier League saw Fulham take the lead in the 22nd minute at Stamford Bridge, with Josh King finding the net against west London rivals Chelsea. But following a VAR review, referee Robert Jones was called to the screen, where he decided to chalk off the 18-year-old's goal.
Jones announced on-field that Rodrigo Muniz had committed a "careless challenge" and stood on the foot of Trevoh Chalobah in the build-up, which many viewers deemed a highly unfair decision.
To make matters worse for Fulham, the Blues' opening goal in their 2-0 victory came nine minutes into eight minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half.
Referees chief Howard Webb has since spoken to Fulham and admitted the decision was an error. He said the decision to rule out the goal did not reach the high bar of a VAR intervention as it was not a clear and obvious error by the referee, and should have been a 'referees' call' instead.
Referees' body PGMOL later replaced VAR culprit Michael Salisbury with John Brooks for Liverpool vs Arsenal on Sunday.
However, Webb's admission has done little to quell the outrage towards VAR just three games into the season, with Newcastle legend Shearer ripping into the officials' decision-making.
He said on The Rest Is Football podcast: "Honestly, tell me, you have two professional referees – allegedly – who are sat in the VAR room watching screens, two of them, who are meant to know the game and who are meant to be very very good at their job.
"And you've got a referee on the pitch who saw the incident clearly and didn't give it but then thinks, 'Actually I've made a huge error here, the guys have sent me to the screen and I'm gonna overturn my decision'.
"I mean, we can swear on here but not on Match of the Day, what the f*** are they thinking? You're not going to re-referee, you're not going to interfere and it's only for the clear and obvious. Three things.
"Where have those three things gone? It's bulls***. What has happened to the game? Tell me, what's happened to those three things, please.
"Howard Webb, you're in charge, tell us what has happened to those three things because every single game you're re-refereeing and you're interfering, and you're overturning decisions which are not clear and obvious.
"Now please explain to us what has gone wrong from when you announced it to now. And then to rub salt in the wounds because of that extra time they're looking at the screens, Chelsea then go and score in the time added because of the s*** decisions."
Shearer added: "I was angry, like every Fulham player and fan and Marco Silva. You could tell he was just thinking what on earth has the game come to when those goals are being disallowed."
Fulham boss Marco Silva described the decision as "unbelievable" when speaking to TNT Sports after the game. He said: "How you disallow a goal like that is unbelievable. We have meetings with referees and people in charge, we all want to win.
"VAR is not here to re-referee the game. I would prefer not to say something more because I would be punished. I want to be on the touchline next week to help my team, I don't want to be fined. But it has been a difficult start to the season with some decisions."
Ironically, Shearer was chosen to front some of the Premier League's explainer videos on VAR when it was first introduced to the Premier League in 2019. In what will now surely be a cringeworthy moment personally for the pundit, an old clip shows him highlighting the benefits of VAR, one of which was meant to be "minimum interference."
He had said: "VAR is in the Premier League this season and it will help our referees get more decisions correct. Let's be clear, we won't see 100% accuracy. Some decisions will be subjective and not everyone will agree, but the VAR will be checking every key decision.
"The Premier League is setting a high bar for VAR involvement. The philosophy is minimum interference, maximum benefit. Keeping the pace and passion we all know and love."

David Ornstein: Fulham Agreed £22m Deal to Sign Chelsea Star, Five-Year Contract
Chelsea starlet Tyrique George is set to make the short trip across west London to Fulham, according to reports - with the Cottagers agreeing a sizeable fee to take him off Enzo Maresca's hands permanently.
The report by David Ornstein on X (formerly Twitter) states that Fulham have struck an agreement with Chelsea to sign George, in a deal worth £22million and a sell-on clause.
Personal terms are in place between the Cottagers and the teenager on a five-year-deal, and permission has been given by the Blues to do his Fulham medical, where he will join up with Marco Silva's men ahead of the rest of their Premier League campaign.

Fulham agree deal for George
Fulham have reached agreement with Chelsea over a deal to sign the nineteen year-old winger Tyrique George, according to the Athletic's David Ornstein.
George, who played in Saturday's SW6 derby for the Blues as a first half substitute, had been heavily linked with a move to Serie A side AS Roma but is now poised to join Fulham on transfer deadline day. The promising winger is set to sign a five year contract at Craven Cottage as personal terms have been agreed between the Whites and George's representatives. Ornstein reports that the deal for George is worth up to £22m and the Blues will retain a sell-on clause.
The Camden-born winger has been with Chelsea since the age of seven. The England under-21 international has made 27 senior appearances for the Blues, scoring three goals – one of which was the equaliser in their 2-1 win at Craven Cottage last season.

Chelsea accept offer from Fulham for George
Chelsea have accepted an offer from Fulham for Tyrique George.
The versatile forward, 19, is set to move for a fee in the region of £22m.
Fulham are among a number of clubs to have approached Chelsea about George, who has been given permission to undergo a medical at the Whites' Motspur Park training ground.
George played 67 minutes for Chelsea against Fulham on Saturday, after replacing Liam Delap in the first half, and was then substituted later on in the game.

Fulham 'revive talks' for Chelsea star but second Blues deal collapses
Fulham have reopened talks with Chelsea to sign Raheem Sterling, while Tyrique George's prospective exit from Stamford Bridge has fallen through, according to a trusted source.
Sterling spent last season on loan at rivals Arsenal after falling down Enzo Maresca's pecking order. The winger only managed one goal in 28 appearances for the Gunners, though.
Any hopes Sterling had of joining Arsenal permanently were quickly dashed, and he soon returned to west London.
TEAMtalk revealed on July 25 that Fulham were in pole position to sign Sterling after he had been put up for sale at £20million by Chelsea.
Fulham have not been able to reach an agreement with Chelsea since then, but the transfer is now back on the cards.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Fulham have 'revived talks' for Sterling as they look to bring in the experienced England international before the transfer deadline.
Fulham are also continuing talks with the entourage of Brazilian winger Kevin. The Cottagers have already agreed a club-record €42m (£36m) deal with Shakhtar Donetsk but still need Kevin's final green light.
Romano has confirmed that AC Milan's Samuel Chukwueze is another target for Fulham.
TEAMtalk revealed earlier on deadline day that Sterling is among six targets for Fulham. He wants to stay in London when leaving Chelsea, though Fulham will have to stretch their finances to meet his wage demands.
We also revealed on Monday morning that Sterling is one of seven players who could leave Chelsea before the 7pm deadline as the Blues streamline their bloated squad.
Tyrique George is another player who has been tipped to leave Chelsea this summer. The winger is open to a move so he can pick up more game time and continue his development.
Roma recently opened talks for George after being rejected by Jadon Sancho, who is set to join Aston Villa from Manchester United instead.
But according to Romano, George's potential transfer to Roma is 'currently off' as the Italian club have 'no agreement' with Chelsea.
The Blues want €30m (£26m) plus a heavy sell-on clause to let George go as they believe the 19-year-old has great potential.
Roma are not willing to go that high, however. RB Leipzig and several Premier League clubs have also made contact for George, but time is running out for any such transfer to go through.

Fulham strike agreement with Chelsea over £22m deal for winger
Chelsea have had a very busy summer so far, and as expected, this has continued to be the case on Deadline Day. The likes of Nicolas Jackson, Raheem Sterling and Axel Disas are likely to leave Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes, and someone that will be departing is Tyrique George.
George has been seeking a move away from Chelsea in recent weeks, as his desire is to play regularly. He has attracted interest from RB Leipzig, but he is now set to remain in the Premier League – and more specifically, west London.
Fulham agree deal to sign Tyrique George from Chelsea
As reported by David Ornstein, Fulham have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign George, who already has personal terms in place with Marco Silva's side. The teenager will now travel to Craven Cottage for medical tests ahead of signing his contract.
"EXCL: Fulham strike agreement with Chelsea to sign Tyrique George. Deal for 19yo winger worth £22m package + sell-on clause. Personal terms in place on 5yr contract for England youth international. Permission given (by) CFC to do FFC medical."
Chelsea have retained a sell-on clause as part of the agreement, so they will continue to keep an eye on his progress at Fulham – and it means that he could return in the future for a reduced price. It is a deal that suits all parties, and especially George, who is sure to be an important player for Silva.
It will be interesting to see what further business is done by Chelsea before the summer transfer window closes at 7pm. Sales are expected, although it cannot be ruled out that at least one signing is made, especially given that Fermin Lopez's decision to stay at Barcelona means that they are still in search for a new attacking midfielder.

Deadline day twist: Fulham in pole for Kevin, but Champions League side matches bid
Fulham were about to get Brazilian winger Kevin over the line, but deadline day has spiced things up.
Record in Portugal say Marco Silva's side have shaken hands with Shakhtar Donetsk on a €42m (£35.8m) deal – a touch higher than the €40m first reported – and the winger is already in London waiting for the final nod. That puts Fulham right in the driving seat, but it's not done just yet.
Globo Esporte in Brazil added that Sporting have crashed the party with a matching bid and are trying to sell Kevin on the idea of Champions League football and a squad built to win trophies. They've tracked him all summer and aren't giving up easily, even if they know they're fighting uphill at this point.
According to the Brazilian report, Fulham's pitch is simple: the Premier League. Even if the Cottagers aren't troubling the top of the table too often, the exposure and stage are hard to beat. There's still some wrangling to do on the personal side before anything's official, which keeps the door slightly ajar for the Lisbon club.
What everyone agrees on is that Kevin won't be at Shakhtar after tonight. The only question is whether he ends up pulling on a white shirt at Craven Cottage or green and white at Alvalade – and with him already in London, Fulham look like they've got the edge.
The questionable part here would be Sporting paying €40m for a player, a level they haven't got close to before.

Fulham revive talks to sign Raheem Sterling
Fulham have revived talks with Raheem Sterling over a late move to Craven Cottage, although the Chelsea winger is possibly seen as an alternate choice.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Fulham have revived their interest in Raheem Sterling as talks are underway over a late move. The Chelsea winger is frozen out of Enzo Maresca's first team, and while the Cottagers are keen, they do not see the experienced attacker as their first choice for the positions he can play.
Fulham are expecting late arrivals at Craven Cottage before the transfer deadline, as Marco Silva is keen to bring in two wingers. The West London outfit held an interest in Reiss Nelson of Arsenal, and while they were unsure of a potential deal, the English winger has agreed to join Brentford on a loan deal.
The Cottagers did hold an interest in Raheem Sterling earlier in the window, and with the transfer deadline around the corner, Fulham have revived talks for the out-of-favour winger, who cost Chelsea £50 million. The Bleus are eager to get the experienced star off their books, and there is a chance they could once again sanction a loan deal.
Chelsea had originally wanted to sell off Raheem Sterling, but the circumstances might dictate another direction of travel. While Fulham have rekindled their interest, there is no clarity on whether it is for a loan deal or a permanent transfer, although the Cottagers might be leaning towards the former.
Sterling had other suitors during brief periods of the window, with West Ham United one of those keen earlier. The Hammers never followed through their interest with a concrete offer, and Chelsea have thoroughly struggled to find suitors for the £50 million misfit.
Fulham view Raheem Sterling as an alternative choice
Fulham's late revival of the Sterling talks does indicate an interest, but the experienced Chelsea star is not their priority even on deadline day. They have wanted Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk, and while they have an agreement in place with the Ukrainian side, Fabrizio Romano states personal terms with the Brazilian are yet to be agreed.
Fulham are also in talks for Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan, and together with Kevin, those two are Fulham's priority choices for the wing positions. However, with an agreement yet to be reached for either of those stars, Fulham view Raheem Sterling as a contingent option for their attacking setup, as the £50 million Chelsea misfit could make back-to-back summer deadline day moves out of Stamford Bridge.

Nigeria-eligible forward to end 11-year association with Chelsea after agreeing move to Fulham
Tyrique George's 11-year association with Chelsea is set to come to an end on Monday, with The Athletic reporting that Fulham are on the verge of completing the signing of the academy in a deal worth £22 million plus a sell-on clause, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.
The 19-year-old winger, who is eligible to represent England, Nigeria, and Ghana, has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with the Cottagers.
He is expected to complete a medical in the coming hours before the transfer is officially finalized.
George's move brings an end to his time at Stamford Bridge, where he progressed through the youth ranks and made history in April 2025 by becoming the youngest Nigerian–eligible player to score for Chelsea in the Premier League at 19 years and 75 days.
He also featured prominently in the Blues' successful FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League campaigns last season.
Despite his breakthrough, George was seeking greater first-team opportunities, a factor that attracted interest from several European clubs.
Roma had previously been in negotiations for his signature, but talks collapsed without an agreement.
Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig and Borussia Monchengladbach were also monitoring his situation before Fulham stepped in decisively.
Fulham manager Marco Silva has been keen to strengthen his attacking options, and the acquisition of George represents a significant investment in youth with long-term potential.
The sell-on clause ensures Chelsea will retain a financial interest in the winger's future progress.

Graham Smyth: Leeds in Talks to Sign 'Magical' Fulham Star
Leeds United could be set to announce a Premier League stalwart winger into their squad soon, according to reports - with the Whites in talks with Harry Wilson over a potential move from Fulham.
Leeds have been in the market for a creative wide spark throughout the window, with former loanee Manor Solomon having been touted for a return to west Yorkshire earlier in the window - and having been hijacked in bids to sign Facundo Buonanotte and Bilal El Khannouss by Chelsea and Stuttgart respectively, it left the Elland Road outfit scrambling to sign someone to bolster their roster in the attacking areas.
Report: Leeds 'in Talks' to Sign Harry Wilson
And, with just four hours to go until the deadline slams shut, the club's top brass appear to have come up with a solution. The report by Leeds United correspondent Graham Smyth states that Leeds are in talks with Fulham over a move to sign Wilson, who is currently with the Welsh national team in Cardiff.
The 'magical' winger can play out wide or as a No.10, and having been involved in all three of Fulham's Premier League games so far, he is match-fit and ready to step into Daniel Farke's squad.
There is a jet scheduled from Cardiff Airport to Leeds-Bradford Airport later today, though it's unsure whether that is for Wilson specifically.
The Wrexham-born star has spent four years at Fulham, including a loan as they won the Championship back in the 2021/22 season - and he's slowly increased his goal tally since his move up to the Premier League, having scored 12 goals in 92 games in the top-flight for the Cottagers - though with Fulham being set to sign Chelsea teenager Tyrique George, that could open the door for him to depart.

Fulham's £35m club-record transfer deal in danger of Champions League club hijack after late 'interest'
The Brazilian has already scored four Europa League goals this season
Portuguese champions Sporting CP are hoping to hijack Fulham's big deal to sign Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk at the eleventh hour. Fulham had agreed £34.6m figure agreed to sign the 22-year-old at the end of last weekend and remain hopeful that they can get the deal over the line before the window closes at 7pm.
The figure agreed for the winger is expected to surpass the club's current transfer record - the initial £27m they paid to sign attacker Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal last summer. His signing would be a boost for Fulham boss Marco Silva, who previously complained about the club's slow pace in the transfer market. The former Everton and Hull City boss previously told reporters the Cottagers had been "passive" in the summer window, having only added French goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte from Montpellier.
The Athletic reported earlier today said that the winger is set to arrive in the capital later today. However, personal terms have not yet fully been agreed and it's not clear whether proceedings have been affected by Sporting's declaration of interest.

Fulham, Chelsea agree Tyrique George transfer — report
Doesn't have to go very far!
Fulham were said to be bringing in some attacking reinforcements from Chelsea on deadline day, but it looks like they will do so in the form of Tyrique George rather than Raheem Sterling (though the Sterling interest isn't completely dead yet either).
According to The Athletic, Fulham have agreed a "deal worth £22m" for the Academy winger, who had been linked with AS Roma and RB Leipzig over the past couple days. There's no word on what the exact structure of the deal may be, but it does said to include a sell-on clause. Would've preferred a buyback, but I guess at least we've got the financial angles covered. George is just 19 and with tremendous potential as evidenced by his 27 senior professional appearances for Chelsea already (26 last season, plus the 1 this weekend, subbing in after Liam Delap went down injured).
The medical is ongoing and there should be plenty of time left to finalize the deal before tonight's deadline.

Leeds United in talks with PL winger as coinciding private jet is spotted – Journalist
Leeds United are in talks to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham on deadline day, with the Wales international potentially shifting in the pecking order under Marco Silva.
The clock is ticking and Leeds have very little time left to secure the vital business that Daniel Farke has made abundantly clear that he requires.
An attacker or two is a must, and specifically one that can operate on the right side would be ideal, given the current balance of options favours the left.
Leeds United in talks with Harry Wilson over transfer from Fulham to Elland Road
United's interest in Emi Buendia this Monday was short lived, reportedly seeing a loan offer snubbed by Aston Villa, prompting Leeds to explore even more alternatives.
Now, the YEP's Graham Smyth has revealed that the club are in talks with Fulham's Harry Wilson over a move.
The 62-cap Wales international has been a fairly regular presence in Marco Silva's attack since their promotion back to the Premier League, but imminent arrivals for Samu Chukwueze (AC Milan) and Tyrique George (Chelsea) shifts the pecking order of wide options at Craven Cottage.
While there's no update on the progress of these talks, Smyth notes that coincidentally, there is a private jet chartered to arrive at Leeds Bradford Airport from Cardiff, where Wilson and the rest of the Wales squad will be based ahead of this international break.
Harry Wilson would provide Leeds with an added dynamic to their attack
You might say that Wilson as a last-gasp deal on deadline day is a tad underwhelming, given the links to serious names from the continent.
However, Wilson's regular playing time in a comfortably mid-table Fulham side shows you how much he's valued there.
His ball striking and dead ball ability would be a massive upgrade on what Leeds currently have, adding not only threat from outside the box, but also from any set piece that he takes.

Roma target George heading to Fulham, so Baldanzi deal off too
Chelsea winger Tyrique George had been in talks with Roma and RB Leipzig, but has seemingly now agreed a €22m plus add-ons move to Fulham instead, with a knock-on effect for Tommaso Baldanzi.
The 19-year-old was still very much on the Giallorossi radar last night, having emerged as an alternative to Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, who is heading to Aston Villa.
However, he was considered too expensive for a relatively untested player.
Why Roma would not invest in George
Football Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà also notes that the fact George was proposed to Roma by the agent he shares with Sancho made the situation far worse.
This is because Sancho strung the Giallorossi along for weeks, irritating the club, who felt his attitude was disrespectful.
RB Leipzig made an approach today as well, but multiple sources including Sport Mediaset and Sportitalia report Fulham have clinched an agreement for the Chelsea man instead.
He is crossing London for €22m plus bonuses and a percentage of the sell-on fee.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia, Sportmediaset and Sportitalia also report that Roma have dropped the loan of Tommaso Baldanzi to Hellas Verona because they have been unable to find a suitable replacement.

Exclusive: Fulham Make Transfer U-Turn on Chelsea Forward
Fulham head coach Marco Silva has altered his stance over luring Raheem Sterling to Craven Cottage and that has resulted in the Chelsea star rushing to assess his potential destinations ahead of the summer transfer window slamming shut later today, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.
The Cottagers are on course to land one of the England international's Blues teammates, after a deal worth £22million plus a sell-on clause has been agreed for Tyrique George, and he is running out of time to identify an exit route after falling by the wayside under boss Enzo Maresca.
Cottagers Alter Stance Over Move for Sterling
Fulham have made a transfer U-turn on Sterling, according to GMS sources, as they went cold on him in the final weeks of the summer window before adjusting their stance and deciding that they would be open to reaching an eleventh-hour agreement with Chelsea if the financial package is suitable.
Although the wide forward is on a £350,000-per-week contract at Stamford Bridge, which the Cottagers are not in a position to cover in its entirety, he has remained on Portuguese tactician Silva's radar as he goes in search of making his side more of a threat in the final third of the pitch.
GMS sources have been informed that Sterling is scrambling for a move before today's 7pm deadline and Fulham's lack of business earlier in the window has resulted in them being open to a deal even though they have pushed ahead with their pursuit of George following his failed switch to Roma.
The Cottagers have made the last-gasp decision to revive their interest in the 30-year-old after opting to keep their options open and Silva has been given assurances by the hierarchy that he will have at least one more attacking arrival alongside Shakhtar Donetsk's Kevin despite time running out.

Fulham and Chelsea agree £22m Tyrique George transfer in Deadline Day twist
Cobham graduate will swap Stamford Bridge for Craven Cottage as Marco Silva bolsters attacking options
Fulham have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign winger Tyrique George on a permanent transfer.
The 19-year-old has been permitted to undergo a medical ahead of a £22million move that will see Chelsea retain a sell-on clause.
George, who scored the only Premier League goal of his career so far away at Fulham last season, will pen a five-year contract at Craven Cottage.
The England youth international made 26 senior appearances across all competitions for Chelsea, providing three goals and three assists, as they won the Conference League and Club World Cup last season.
George is highly-rated at Stamford Bridge but has seen his opportunities limited following the arrivals of Estevao Willian and Jamie Gittens this summer.
The Cobham academy graduate has explored opportunities elsewhere, having made just one substitute appearance this season, as an early replacement for the injured Liam Delap against Fulham on Saturday, and was previously close to joining Serie A side Roma.
RB Leipzig also held an interest in George, but Fulham, who are in the market for attacking reinforcements, have struck decisively to agree a deal with Chelsea.
Fulham are looking to add at least two wingers to their squad before Monday night's deadline and are closing in on deals for Shakhtar Donetsk's Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze of AC Milan.
The club are still waiting on the results of Kevin's medical, while they have agreed an initial loan deal with an option to buy set at between £22m-£26m for Chukwueze.
Fulham held an interest in both Chelsea's Raheem Sterling and Arsenal's Reiss Nelson, the latter of whom is joining Brentford on loan, but have opted to bring in George instead.
Fulham have endured a difficult summer, so far only managing to bring in back-up goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, but are hopeful of concluding multiple deals before the window closes.

Fulham and PSV show concrete interest in teenage Bayern Munich striker with Bundesliga side open to sale
Fulham and PSV have shown interest in Bayern Munich's 18-year-old striker Jonah Kusi-Asare on deadline day.
Fulham and PSV have concrete interest in Kusi-Asare
Striker was thought as Harry Kane's backup
Bayern could be open to loan deal
WHAT HAPPENED?
Initially thought as a backup option for Harry Kane at Bayern, 18-year-old Kusi-Asare might be on the move. Bayern do not intend to let the striker go and want to extend his contract. However, concrete interest from the Premier League and Eredivisie might compel them to sell the talented striker, Skyreports. Clubs have already started talks, and the Bavarians could be open to a loan deal as well.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The interest in Kusi-Asare is not new. PSV have been monitoring him for quite some time. Other clubs like Slavia Prague and Werder Bremen were also among the interested parties. The player's entourage and Bayern were also exploring the market. Having joined Bayern from Swedish outfit AIK in 2024, he initially represented their U-19 and reserve sides. In this tenure, he accumulated two appearances in the Bundesliga, one in April against Mainz and the other in this season's opener against RB Leipzig.
DID YOU KNOW?
Kusi-Asare is a member of the Swedish U-21 side, having represented them on four occasions until now. However, he is also eligible to play for Finland.
WHAT NEXT FOR KUSI-ASARE?
The transfer window ends on Monday evening and the interested clubs have to work rapidly to ensure the 18-year-old represents their club this season.

Leeds keen on Fulham's Wilson
Leeds have made an approach to Fulham for Harry Wilson.
The Yorkshire club have enquired about taking Wales winger Wilson, 28, on loan.
Fulham have rejected the proposal but talks between the clubs are continuing ahead of the 7pm transfer deadline.
Wilson, who moved to Craven Cottage in 2021, has less than a year remaining on his contract.
During the summer, the club took up an option to extend that contract until the end of this season.
There have been talks about a longer-term deal but no agreement has yet been reached.
"There's definitely talks about that. I love it here and since I've come here I've felt very at home and playing in the Premier League," Wilson told West London Sport's Fulham podcast, Jack Kelly on the Fulham Beat, last month.
"I would say there are talks about it happening. We're not close yet but let's see what happens in the next few months and see if we can get something agreed."

Moretto: Chukwueze undergoing medical – Fulham and Milan agree potential €30m deal
AC Milan and Fulham have agreed a deal for Samuel Chukwueze, and the winger is currently having a medical for a move.
There are several irons in the fire for Milan on deadline day, and the Rossoneri will potentially see a few big fees arrive. However, it seems they will have to wait for anything with Chukwueze, given the way the deal has panned out.
Chukwueze to Fulham: Medical underway
A permanent deal was initially inspected by the clubs. Though in the past few days, things have changed to loan discussions, with a buy clause inserted, of course. Now, it seems that the deal could be ready to close.
Matteo Moretto has reported in the past few minutes that the Nigerian is currently having a medical for his move to the Premier League, though the journalist also adds that the two clubs have an agreement for an 'onerous' loan with a €30 million 'right of redemption' clause inserted.
Reports last night suggested that the winger was heading to London, without a deal being done, to conduct his medical. So, it seems that everything is now agreed, and a deal could be done well in advance of the 8 PM CEST deadline tonight.

Fulham instantly respond to Leeds United offer for Harry Wilson – talkSPORT
Leeds United have entered talks to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham, with the Cottagers making moves of their own out wide.
The Whites have very little time left to nail down at least one winger signing before the 7pm deadline strikes this evening.
On the right wing, Leeds could do with more creative quality than they currently have, but their options have diminished quite significantly since the season began.
Leeds United turned down by Fulham with opening loan offer for Harry Wilson
it was revealed by the YEP's Graham Smyth that Leeds have entered talks with Fulham over Wales international Harry Wilson on deadline day.
The Cottagers are looking at bringing in at least two wingers imminently in the form of Samu Chukwueze from AC Milan, and youngster Tyrique George from Chelsea, both due for medicals shortly.
It leaves Wilson, in the last year of his deal at Craven Cottage, possibly attainable for Leeds, but talkSPORT's Alex Crook has since shared that Leeds' loan offer for the 28-year-old has been turned down:
Leeds United have no options remaining, they need to get Harry Wilson wrapped up
There's simply no time left to shift onto other targets if Wilson doesn't come to Elland Road, so they need to make a better offer ASAP.
He would certainly be an improvement on what we've got right now, knowing how good his delivery is and how good he is from a dead ball.
The issue is that Fulham clearly rate Wilson and won't part ways so late in the day unless they're comfortable with their position, which may involve the incoming signings.

Fulham in transfer tussle to sign Jonah Kusi-Asare
Fulham will reportedly compete with Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven to sign 18-year-old Swedish attacking prospect Jonah Kusi-Asare from Bayern Munich on deadline day.
According to a report by Sky Deutschland, Jonah Kusi-Asare is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a striker in the final hours of the summer transfer window. So, the 18-year-old Bayern Munich attacking sensation has emerged as a target for the West London outfit.
Fulham will face stiff competition from RSC Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven in the three-way battle for the Swede's signature. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will likely sanction Kusi-Asare's loan exit in the final hours of the summer transfer window, albeit after extending his contract, which expires next summer.
Who is Jonah Kusi-Asare?
Jonah Kusi-Asare is one of the brightest young prospects in the Bundesliga, having made considerable progress since joining Bayern Munich from AIK in January 2024. While the 18-year-old has managed only six minutes of game time across two appearances thus far for Bayern Munich, he has a bright future, with the Bavarian giants holding him in high regard.
However, while the Swedish attacking sensation has the talent to be Harry Kane's long-term successor, he will unlikely receive regular game time in the 2025/26 season. So, a summer exit on loan is the ideal solution for Kusi-Asare, with Fulham competing with RSC Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven for his signature.
London calling?
Fulham's interest in Jonah Kusi-Asare is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market for a striker in the final hours of the summer transfer window, even though Marco Silva has Rodrigo Muniz and Raul Jimenez in his squad. However, recent reports have linked Fulham with several centre-forwards, including Timo Werner.
Kusi-Asare has now emerged as a viable target for Fulham, with the West London club competing with RSC Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven in the three-way battle for his signature. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will likely sanction the 18-year-old Swede's loan exit, although they first want to extend his contract, which ends next summer.
Meanwhile, Fulham will aim to complete multiple offensive reinforcements before the summer transfer window shuts down in a few hours, and they are also keen on signing Raheem Sterling. It will be interesting to see if Kusi-Asare and a wide attacker arrive at Craven Cottage ahead of the deadline.

Leeds United receive initial reply from Fulham for Harry Wilson as loan bid made for Wales star
Leeds United are now pushing to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham before the 7pm deadline as Adam Underwood looks to satisfy Daniel Farke with an attacking signing.
Leeds have made three attacking signings in the form of Noah Okafor, Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin but with only one Premier League goal this season, Farke has pleaded for more in attack.
Going into deadline day, there was hope for Aston Villa's Emi Buendia. There has since been contrasting reports. Some say Villa rejected a loan for Buendia, but Leeds say they did not make a bid for Buendia.
There was also speculation that Manor Solomon could reunite with Leeds. But Leeds have decided not to bring Solomon back to Elland Road and now, Crystal Palace are said to be in loan-to-buy talks for him.
Leeds United receive reply from Fulham after Harry Wilson bid
Earlier this afternoon, LeedsUnited.News broke the news that Leeds were interested in signing Fulham's Harry Wilson. A player that has long been a target for Leeds, dating back to Marcelo Bielsa's stint.
Graham Smyth followed up our initial story, reporting that Leeds were in talks and that the club saw the Wales star as the eleventh and final addition unless something crazy occurred. Now, Leeds have a reply.
TalkSPORT's Alex Crook has revealed on X that Leeds have made an initial loan bid for Wilson, but that Fulham have rejected it. However, LeedsUnited.News understands there is still confidence in a deal.
Why Harry Wilson could now be available at Fulham as Leeds bid
Fulham are busy themselves on deadline day, as Marco Silva's prayers are answered. The Fulham boss has been crying out for new additions and it appears he is about to welcome Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.
It appears that Fulham won't be done there, with The Cottagers also doing a deal for Chelsea's Tyrique George. Two wingers expected to sign on at Fulham with Silva's side also linked with Raheem Sterling.
Plenty of new attacking additions at Fulham then, pushing Wilson down the pecking order and making him potentially available. But Leeds will have to go back in and make a second offer, to land his signature.

Fulham on verge of signing Chelsea star after Liam Delap injury helps convince Marco Silva – sources
Liam Delap's injury has inadvertently led to Tyrique George agreeing a transfer to Fulham, with the Chelsea star's switch to Craven Cottage advancing, TEAMtalk understands, while another exciting attacker could join alongside him.
Fulham have been looking for new attacking options all month and had been alerted to the fact that George would be attainable in the final hours of the transfer window.
The Whites had been scrambling for an additional body to give Marco Silva new options in attack – and were not convinced on a loan deal for Raheem Sterling.
Marco Silva was initially unsure about a move for George, but on Saturday, he was given a full scouting opportunity at Stamford Bridge.
Delap's injury led to a 14th-minute substitution, and 19-year-old George replaced him in Chelsea's 2-0 win over the Cottagers.
It gave Silva and the rest of Fulham's staff to have a close up look at the player before having to make a decision on whether to try to sign him.
Ultimately, it helped lead them towards a positive conclusion and they are putting together a package to complete a permanent transfer for the player worth £22m.
Fulham still pushing for another deal despite late twist
Fulham, meanwhile, reportedly remain hopeful of signing Brazilian forward Kevin from Shakhtar Dontesk in a deal worth £34.6m.
However, the 22-year-old is yet to agree personal terms with the Cottagers, with Sporting CP now showing late interest in a deal.
Kevin is in London to undergo a medical so he and George could still sign for Fulham in permanent deals.
The duo could give Silva two exciting options in attack as Fulham look to bounce back from a disappointing start to the season, after picking up only two points from four games.

Leeds United 'make move' to sign ex-Hull City winger Harry Wilson from Fulham as bid clarification emerges
Leeds United are reportedly making a late move to sign winger Harry Wilson from Fulham.
The 28-year-old has been on the books at Craven Cottage permanently since 2022, when he made the move to the capital from Liverpool.
Opportunities had proven limited at Anfield and he had been repeatedly loaned out. Hull City were among those to borrow Wilson and he struck seven goals in 14 appearances for the Tigers.
It appears a return to Yorkshire is on the cards for the set-piece specialist, who boasts a wealth of experience.
Leeds United eye Fulham winger
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have Wilson in their sights with just hours to go until the summer window closes.
It is believed he could leave Cardiff, where he is based for training with the Wales national team, to undergo a medical at Thorp Arch.
FourFourTwo's Joe Donnohue, meanwhile, has claimed Fulham are open to a permanent deal being agreed having rebuffed a Whites loan bid.
Among his teammates at international level are current Leeds quartet Karl Darlow, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu and Daniel James. Wilson can operate out wide or as an attacking midfielder.
Leeds United looking to bolster ranks
Whites boss Daniel Farke has made no secret of his desire to see his attack strengthened, speaking candidly after his side's draw with Newcastle United.
When asked about potential business in the dying embers of the window, he said: "We make no secret out of this - in order to be ready for a long, competitive season, we definitely need a bit more quality options up front and of course, we're trying to do this.
"We just have to look at what the other teams around us are doing. Newcastle are the best example of course - we can't compete with the Champions League side, with what they have done this week.
"You look at their bench, what quality is sitting outside and what they could bring into the game, what they still have in the ranks.
"In order to be competitive and give ourselves a chance to survive in the best league in the world, we need to do a bit more in the offence and this is what we are trying to do. We'll see what the outcome is in the coming days."
The summer window will close at 7pm today (September 1).

Tyrique George set to join Fulham in £22 million deal as agreement reached
Chelsea attacking sensation Tyrique George is reportedly on the cusp of joining Fulham in a deal worth £22 million in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
According to an update by the reliable Ben Jacobs, Tyrique George is on the verge of joining Fulham. The Cottagers have struck an agreement with Chelsea over a deal worth £22 million, with the 19-year-old homegrown attacker ready to sign a five-year contract when he completes his move across West London.
A report by David Ornstein on The Athletic has revealed that Chelsea will have a sell-on clause in the agreement with Fulham. Meanwhile, reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Englishman is undergoing the medical tests to complete his move to Craven Cottage.
Tyrique George and his career so far
Tyrique George is the latest highly-rated prospect to fall victim to Chelsea's infamous hoarding policy. A graduate of the fabled youth division at the West London club, the 19-year-old enjoyed his breakthrough at the West London club in the 2023/24 season, and he was impressive under Enzo Maresca last term.
However, Chelsea's aggressive spending in the summer transfer window means George has no chance of being a regular for the West London club in the 2025/26 season, having managed a lucky 67-minute outing this past weekend after Liam Delap picked up a hamstring injury. The situation has piqued the attention of several well-known clubs, with Fulham on the cusp of securing the English attacking prospect's services.
Move across London on the cards
Fulham's interest in Tyrique George is understandable. The Cottagers have been scouring the market for offensive reinforcements throughout the summer transfer window. However, they have not backed Marco Silva well enough, with the Fulham manager still waiting for his first attacking signing.
While several candidates, including Raheem Sterling, have emerged on Fulham's radar, they have yet to strike an agreement to sign any player. That has changed in the past hour, as George is on the cusp of becoming the West London club's second summer arrival after Benjamin Lecomte.
Fulham will fork out £22 million to sign the 19-year-old English attacking sensation, with Chelsea receiving a sell-on clause. So, while AS Roma and RB Leipzig have considered signing George, they must look elsewhere, with the young winger on the verge of moving across West London by signing a five-year contract once he completes his medical checks.

Leeds United deadline day signing hinges of Fulham's ability to complete triple deal
Fulham are open to the sale of winger Harry Wilson with Leeds United keen on a deal
When you purchase through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission. Here's how it works.
Fulham could offload winger Harry Wilson permanently before this evening's transfer deadline, if they are able to get a trio of deals over the line.
Craven Cottage chiefs are working on a number of incoming transfers, which includes Chelsea's Tyrique George, Shakhtar Donetsk wide forward Kevin and Nigerian attacker Samu Chukwueze.
FourFourTwo understands personal terms have so far been difficult to agree with Kevin, despite a medical having taken place, therefore Wilson may be required to stay in West London.
Leeds United remain in talks for Harry Wilson
If Fulham are successful in their pursuit of George, Kevin and Chukwueze, the club could be persuaded by Leeds to do a deal more cheaply in order to get the player off the Londoners' books, rather than keeping a player who subsequently becomes surplus to requirements.
The Wales international recently extended his contract at Fulham, renewing for another year only three-and-a-half months ago.
Clubs usually employ this tactic to protect a player's transfer value, perhaps explaining the Cottagers' reluctance to sanction a season-long loan, with the player set to leave on a free transfer in 12 months.
Leeds have so far been unsuccessful in their attempts to sign the 28-year-old on a temporary deal.
Fulham's wide attacking options are limited with defender Timothy Castagne starting the season as Marco Silva's first-choice right-winger, ahead of the Wales international.
Aside from Wilson, the club's only other senior wide options are Adama Traore and Alex Iwobi, hence the desire to do a triple deal before deadline. That said, Emile Smith Rowe has also been known to play wide for the club. It partly explains why Leeds may end up empty-handed if Fulham are unsuccessful in two or more of their winger pursuits.
Wilson has featured in each of Fulham's three Premier League matches this season, indicating head coach Silva still sees him as a valued member of the squad.
FourFourTwo understands the two clubs remain in talks with a deal still possible if certain criteria are met.

Fulham agree £22m fee for Chelsea winger George
Fulham have agreed a £22m fee to sign winger Tyrique George from Chelsea.
The 19-year-old is in talks over a five-year contract at Craven Cottage, while Chelsea have a sell-on clause included in the deal.
George, who is primarily a winger but can also play as a striker, was the subject of interest from German club RB Leipzig on deadline day, but they are not known to have made any official offer to Chelsea.
The teenager is expected to leave Stamford Bridge having scored three goals and delivered five assists in 27 matches since breaking into the first team at the beginning of last season.
The move comes amid the potential collapse of what would have been Fulham's record signing, with the £34m deal for Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian winger Kevin in doubt after Portuguese club Sporting matched the bid.
Kevin, 22, had been offered a five-year deal by Fulham.
However, AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has completed a medical and is expected to join Fulham before the transfer window closes at 19:00 BST on Monday.
The new signings would be a boost for Fulham boss Marco Silva, who has previously complained about the club's limited action in the transfer window.
Silva said the Cottagers had been "passive" in the summer window, having only added French goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte from Montpellier.
The Cottagers have two points from their opening three Premier League games and are 18th in the table.
They followed up opening draws at Brighton and at home to Manchester United with a controversial 2-0 defeat at west London rivals Chelsea.

According to a report from Sky Germany's Kerry Hau (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich could still decide to loan out young attacker Jonah Kusi-Asare:
FC Bayern received several offers for Jonah Kusi-Asare over the weekend. Fulham, Anderlecht, and PSV are currently interested in the 18-year-old. However, Bayern will only release him if they get signings done. In the event of a loan, his contract, which expires in 2026, would also have to be extended.
If Bayern Munich bolster is attacking group via transfers, Kusi-Asare could be a late move near the deadline.
Bayern Munich's transfer window has been wild and the team has some, well, gaps. How can things all come together?
Let's explore what has been happening, where things might be going, and why not everything has looked great so far on this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works Show:
Fans are frustrated, but it is not time to panic. There are reasons for the issues we are seeing.
How does Bayern Munich end up in these transfer situations? Nicolas Jackson-to-Bayern Munich became a complete mess.
Bayern tried to get Atalanta's Ademola Lookman.
There seems to be heat in the Bayern offices and it seems to be wearing on Max Eberl.

Fulham eyeing late move for Hwang In-beom
Fulham will reportedly aim to sign 28-year-old South Korean midfielder Hwang In-beom from Eredivisie club Feyenoord before the summer transfer window shuts down.
According to a report by Give Me Sport, Hwang In-beom is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on reinforcing the first-team squad by signing a versatile midfielder in the final hours of the summer transfer window. So, the 28-year-old Eredivisie star has emerged as a target for the West London club.
The Cottagers are not wasting any time on deadline day of the summer transfer window, as they have submitted an enquiry over a late move to sign the Daejeon native from Feyenoord. However, it is unclear if the Eredivisie outfit will sanction Hwang's departure in the coming hours.
Hwang In-beom has established himself as one of the most dependable performers in the Eredivisie since joining Feyenoord from Red Star Belgrade last summer. While the 28-year-old midfielder has struggled with fitness issues in the 12 months he has spent with the Dutch giants, he has been a solid presence in the middle of the park.
The South Korean international has amassed 2,500 minutes of game time across 33 appearances thus far for Fulham while chipping in with three goals and five assists. Meanwhile, Hwang's progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Fulham will aim to secure his services before the summer transfer window shuts down.
Fulham's interest in Hwang In-beom is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market for a versatile midfielder in the final hours of the summer transfer window after parting ways with Andreas Pereira, who has joined Palmeiras. So, it is hardly surprising that Marco Silva wants a new midfielder despite the impressive performances by Sander Berge and Sasa Lukic.
Several candidates, including Kobbie Mainoo, have thus emerged on Fulham's radar, with Hwang also a viable target. The Cottagers are not wasting any time after signing only one player thus far in the summer transfer window, and they have submitted an enquiry over a late move for the Feyenoord midfielder.
However, it is unclear if the Eredivisie outfit will allow the 28-year-old South Korean midfielder to join Fulham in the final hours of the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the Cottagers are also working on other deals, with Tyrique George on the cusp of arriving from Chelsea in a deal worth £22 million.

Leeds United in talks to sign Harry Wilson, fail with opening bid
Leeds United will reportedly look to sign 28-year-old Welsh international Harry Wilson from Fulham in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
According to an update by Sky Sports journalists Dharmesh Sheth, Rob Dorsett, and Zinny Boswell, Harry Wilson is the subject of interest of Leeds United. The Whites are eager to bolster their offensive unit by signing a wide attacker before the summer transfer window closes. So, the 28-year-old Fulham winger has emerged as a target for the newly promoted Premier League club.
The 2024/25 EFL Championship winners are in talks with Fulham over a last-gasp move for the Wrexham-born attacker. However, the reliable Ben Jacobs has revealed that Leeds United offered a loan deal to sign Wilson from Fulham, with the West London outfit turning the bid down.
Harry Wilson and his time with Fulham so far
Harry Wilson has been in and out of the starting lineup since joining Fulham from Liverpool in a deal worth £12 million in July 2021. However, while the 28-year-old has not been a regular for the West London club, he has made his mark in the last four years.
The Welsh international has made 150 appearances thus far for Fulham while chipping in with 25 goals and 38 assists. Meanwhile, despite his sporadic starts, Wilson has been impressive enough to pique the attention of several well-known clubs. Leeds United will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
Move across the Premier League on the cards?
Leeds United's interest in Harry Wilson is understandable. The Whites are scouring the market for a versatile attacker in final hours of the summer transfer window. While Facundo Buonanotte was the top target for the newly promoted Premier League club, Chelsea hijacked the move, and they announced the Argentine playmaker's signing today.
Since then, several candidates, including Bilal El Khannouss, have emerged on Leeds United's radar, with Wilson also a viable target. The Welshman's ability to play on the flanks and through the middle makes him an appealing target for Leeds United, and the 2024/25 EFL Championship winners are in talks to secure his services.
However, with Fulham rejecting Leeds United's opening bid for a loan move, it is unclear if the newly promoted Premier League club will return with an improved offer. Meanwhile, Fulham will aim to end the summer transfer window with offensive reinforcement, with Tyrique George on the cusp of arriving from Chelsea.

Fulham 'strike agreement' for £22m Chelsea attacker - and it's not Raheem Sterling
Fulham have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Chelsea youngster Tyrique George on deadline day.
The 19-year-old has made the single Premier League appearance so far this term, playing for 67 minutes against the Cottagers on Saturday.
Chelsea secured a 2-0 win over Marco Silva's men at Stamford Bridge in the West London derby, with Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez finding the net.
Enzo Maresca's men have made a solid start to the 2025-26 Premier League term, collecting seven points across their opening three matches.
Following the first international break of the season, the Blues continue their top-flight quest with a trip to Keith Andrews's Brentford.
Chelsea 'reach agreement' for George's Fulham move
According to journalist David Ornstein, Chelsea are close to waving goodbye to one of their academy graduates before the end of the window.
The report claims that fellow London club Fulham are leading the race to secure the services of 19-year-old George on a permanent deal.
It is understood that the Cottagers have reached an agreement with the Club World Cup winners over a move across West London for the player.
It is believed that Silva's side will pay an initial £22m for the talents of George, who will be looking to grab a spot in the first XI at Craven Cottage.
Chelsea have supposedly included a sell-on clause in the deal, with the winger set for a medical ahead of signing a five-year contract.
How good is George?
Courtesy of Chelsea's participation in the Conference League last term, George enjoyed plenty of game time under the watch of Maresca.
The 19-year-old featured in 13 continental contests as the West London Blues went on to be crowned winners of UEFA's third-tier club competition.
After only appearing in eight Premier League matches last season, George will be aiming to regular top-flight minutes at Fulham.

Fulham strike agreement to sign "special" Premier League gem with Kevin
They left their business late, but Fulham are now set to sign a second attacking target late on, with an agreement reportedly reached to sign a Premier League gem.
Update on Kevin and Fulham
Marco Silva was finally handed some good news after an afternoon to forget at Stamford Bridge on Saturday when reports emerged that Fulham had reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk to sign Kevin. And whilst the Cottagers are still working on an agreement on personal terms, there's no doubt that they are closing in on a top target ahead of the deadline.
https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1962454229521445003
Now that Fulham's business is underway, Kevin may not be the only one to arrive. Fresh reports have indicated that the Cottagers have also revived a move for Raheem Sterling.
One of the most successful wingers in Premier League history, Sterling has endured a frustrating couple of years which wasn't helped by a difficult loan spell at Arsenal last season. Now frozen out at Chelsea, he desperately needs the move that Fulham are seemingly attempting.
Of course, he wouldn't be the first winger to revive the late stages of his career at Craven Cottage, either. Willian enjoyed two successful spells under Marco Silva and represents a fine example that Sterling should look to follow.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the deal, Fulham would be getting an experienced winger who has won all there is to win in English football.
With a matter of hours left until the transfer window slams shut, the West London club have burst into life and may yet welcome Kevin, Sterling and one other Chelsea gem before the deadline.
Fulham strike Tyrique George agreement
As reported by The Athletic's David Ornstein, Fulham have struck an agreement to sign Tyrique George from Chelsea in a late deadline day deal worth £22m, plus add-ons. The young forward looked destined for AS Roma before a move collapsed late on, allowing those at Craven Cottage to come swooping in.
https://x.com/FTalentScout/status/1897735738294149576
The 19-year-old is destined for something "special" according to scout Jacek Kulig last season and it's hard to argue with that verdict. The teenager scored three senior goals whilst assisting five more last season and will now be hoping that more game time at Chelsea's West London rivals means more goal involvement.
In two swift moves, Fulham look destined to welcome Kevin and George - two young attacking stars - whilst a deal for Sterling has reportedly been revived. All three would undoubtedly turn a disappointing window into one that is full of promise.

Three wildcard Tottenham deadline day transfers with £34.6m hijack and dream reunion
Latest Tottenham transfer news with football.london taking a look at three wildcard arrivals on deadline day
Tottenham could confirm up to three last-ditch deadline day transfers as Thomas Frank looks to bolster his squad for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
Mathys Tel, Mohammed Kudus, Kota Takai, Joao Palhinha and Xavi Simons have been the confirmed arrivals with Randal Kolo Muani seemingly set to become Spurs' sixth summer signing on a straight loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain.
Further incomings, in addition to that, have not been ruled out with a new defender and winger targeted and though just a few hours of the window remains, Spurs could yet strike right before the deadline. Departures could play a big role in that with Manor Solomon and Bryan Gil both expected to leave.
With all of that being said, football.london have taken a look at three potential wildcard signings for Tottenham
Kevin
Fulham are also in the market for a winger and looked to be signing Shakhtar Donetsk star Kevin. A £34.6million deal has been agreed club-to-club but personal terms are yet to be finalised and that could allow for Spurs to hijack their move.
AC Milan's Samu Chukwueze has also been of interest but almost out of nowhere, the Cottagers agreed to sign Tyrique George from Chelsea on loan with an obligation-to-buy.
It seems unlikely that all three join Fulham and considering the difficulties faced in the Kevin deal, it would certainly make sense for the Brazilian to be the player pursued.
Nathan Ake
A left-footed centre-back joining is certainly the preference for Spurs as evidenced by their interest in Arsenal-bound Piero Hincapie.
Manchester City's Nathan Ake could be the perfect alternative especially as Manuel Akanji looks set for a move to Inter after turning down a move to their bitter rivals AC Milan. Ake played alongside Dominic Solanke at Bournemouth and therefore a dream reunion could be on the cards
Harry Wilson
As there is so little time remaining in the window, Spurs do not have the luxury of taking their time on dream targets. With that in mind, Premier League proven Harry Wilson is seemingly available as Leeds United have showed an interest in signing him.
The Wales international has been a consistent performer over the last few seasons and would add an extra body in attack for Spurs while also having the capability to play in midfield.
Ademola Lookman of Atalanta also has that versatility and he is seemingly the most likely addition before 7pm especially now Bayern Munich have revived a deal to sign Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson.

Harry Wilson to Leeds United transfer: Bid, next step, Fulham must do 'deals', Wilson talks contract
Leeds United are hoping to land a late deal in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
Leeds United's determination to strengthen their options in wide areas has led to a dramatic transfer deadline day move for Fulham and Wales star Harry Wilson.
The 28-year-old would bring significant Premier League experience after making over a century of appearances for Bournemouth and Fulham after starting his career within the youth setup at Liverpool. Wilson did actually make two senior appearances for the Reds before but his first consistent experience of life at first-team level came during loan spells with the likes of Hull City, Crewe Alexandra and Derby County before joining Fulham on a permanent deal during the summer of 2021.
Since moving to Craven Cottage, the winger has scored 25 goals and provided 38 appearances in 150 appearances and has become a regular in the Wales squad during that time after earning 62 caps throughout his career. Wilson's international experience also brought appearances at Euro 2021 and at the World Cup Finals in Qatar just under 18 months later.
Wilson had appeared in all four of Fulham's competitive fixtures during the opening weeks of the season after starting a Premier League draw with Brighton and a Carabao Cup win against Bristol City as well as making substitute appearances in league games with Manchester United and Chelsea - but could his next appearance come in the white of Leeds United?
What do we know about Leeds United's interest in Harry Wilson?
Leeds have a serious interest in a move for the Wales international and have turned their focus towards Wilson as they look to bolster their options on the right-hand side of their attack. Their hopes may well have been raised by Fulham's £22 million move for Chelsea youngster Tyrique George and that could well free up Wilson to make a late move to Elland Road. There have been some reports suggesting the Whites have already had a loan bid rejected by the Cottagers but talks between the two clubs are ongoing with the clock ticking down towards the 7pm transfer deadline.
FourFourTwo have reported Fulham are looking to add other wide players to their squad and may have to complete at least one before authorising a deal for Wilson. Shakhtar Donetsk wide forward Kevin and Nigerian attacker Samu Chukwueze have been named as those potential additions alongside the completed move for Chelsea youngster George.
What has Harry Wilson said about his future at Fulham?
Wilson was set to be out of contract this summer but Fulham opted to take up an option to extend his deal by 12 months. However, the winger has indicated he would like a longer contract and confirmed he had been in talks with the Cottagers.
"They've taken up the option of my extension - when I signed it was for four years with an option," said Wilson during the summer. "We are in talks for a new deal. The option was just in case a deal doesn't get done. My main option would be to sign a new deal at Fulham and hopefully we can get to an agreement on that."
What Graham Smyth has said about Leeds United's move for Harry Wilson?
The YEP's chief football writer said: "Wilson might have to be permanent. Fulham's lack of appetite for a loan deal would be totally understandable, they will want to see money for Harry Wilson. It's up to Leeds to turn these talks into a deal. The flight that was scheduled to land at LBA from Cardiff has been put back - likely reflecting the fact that talks are ongoing and a deal has not been reached. It has a new departure time of 4.25pm.
"Coming out of today empty handed would be a desperately poor look for Leeds given all Daniel Farke has said. You might not categorise Wilson as a marquee signing but right now he's taking on remarkable importance in Leeds' window."
How Leeds United can complete their move for Harry Wilson after the 7pm transfer deadline
Negotiations over potential deals will be ongoing at clubs across the Premier League right now as all 20 clubs look to secure those last-minute additions to their squads. All eyes will remain on the 7pm deadline but there is a way clubs can officially complete signings up to two hours after the deadline passes.
Buying clubs can submit a 'deal sheet' to the Premier League after 5pm this afternoon and that will give them up to two extra hours to put the finishing touches to any potential incomings. The deal sheet will confirm the details of the imminent deal and allows clubs to be given until 9pm tonight to complete, submit and ratify their new signing. A deal sheet contains details of the two clubs involved in the deal, the initial transfer fee, any guaranteed sums within the agreement and contingency payments.
There are added complications if the signing comes from abroad as the buying club must also utilise FIFA's online matching system to get international clearance and submit an application for a work permit. All details have to be uploaded to the FIFA system and must be matched by the selling club by midnight.

Leeds look to strike late Wilson deal
Leeds United are locked in talks with Fulham about a permanent deal to sign the Welsh international Harry Wilson after their initial loan move was rejected.
The winger, who is currently in Cardiff on international duty, has less than a year to run on his current Craven Cottage contract and has been involved in all four Fulham fixtures so far. Wilson, who came off the bench at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to make his 150th appearance for the Whites, has scored 25 goals in four years at Fulham and his departure would be a significant blow to head coach Marco Silva.

Fulham in talks with Leeds over Harry Wilson deal after rejecting loan offer on Deadline Day
Leeds remain hopeful of securing a deal before the summer transfer window closes
Fulham have rejected a loan offer from Leeds United for winger Harry Wilson.
The two clubs remain in talks, and Leeds are hopeful of securing a deal for the Welsh international before tonight's deadline.
Any deal looks likely to hinge on whether Fulham are able to finalise deals for Tyrique George, Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin.
Fulham have agreed a £22million deal for Chelsea winger George, who is set to undergo a medical ahead of signing a five-year deal.
The Whites also remain confident of securing a club-record £34.6m deal for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin, who has passed a medical, but is yet to agree terms.
However, they face late competition for his signature from Sporting CP, who have matched Fulham's offer, according to Sky Sports.
Chukwueze, meanwhile, is undergoing a medical ahead of a potential loan move from AC Milan with an option to buy at between £22m-£26m.
All three deals remain ongoing, with less than two hours until the window shuts.
Wilson, whose contract expires next summer, has yet to enter contract negotiations with Fulham.
The 27-year-old made 25 Premier League appearances for Fulham last season, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
He has struggled to nail down a regular starting berth under Marco Silva and could be persuaded by the first-team opportunities on offer at newly promoted Leeds.
Silva wants to bring in two new wingers before the transfer deadline, with academy graduate Martial Godo completing a £6m move to Strasbourg.
Fulham have endured a difficult summer, having so far only managed to bring in backup goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte, but they are expected to be busy before the deadline, with deals for Kevin and Chukwueze close to completion.

Godo completes move from Fulham to Strasbourg
Martial Godo has left Fulham to join Strasbourg.
The 22 year-old winger has agreed a five-year contract and has moved for a fee of around £6m.

Fulham 'close in on £22m move for Chelsea wonderkid' - as Blues confirm signing of Premier League star
Chelsea are reportedly poised to sell academy product Tyrique George after sealing a deadline day deal to sign Facundo Buonanotte.
Argentina international Buonanotte became Chelsea's 11th permanent signing of the summer when he joined from Brighton on a season-long loan worth around £2million.
The 20-year-old, who can operate as a No 10 or out wide, spent last season on loan at Leicester City and scored six goals in 35 appearances despite the Foxes' relegation.
He has already been capped twice by Argentina and is well known to Chelsea chiefs Paul Winstanley and Sam Jewell, who previously worked at Brighton.
Buonanotte told Chelsea's official website: 'I'm very happy to join Chelsea. It's a great opportunity for me and I'm just looking to add as much to the squad as possible, help the team and help the staff.'
His arrival follows the signings of fellow attackers Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens and Brazilian starlet Estevao, as Chelsea continue a major rebuild under Enzo Maresca.
According to The Athletic, Fulham have agreed a £22million deal to sign George on a permanent basis.
The package is said to include a sell-on clause, while the 19-year-old winger has reportedly settled on a five-year contract and is expected to undergo a medical before the deadline passes.
George made 26 appearances last season, scoring three goals, and featured in almost every game of Chelsea's Conference League campaign.
He came through the academy after joining at under-eight level and has represented England up to under-19 level.
Meanwhile, striker Nicolas Jackson is also set to depart Stamford Bridge.
Bayern Munich have agreed a loan with an obligation to buy that could rise to £70.5m, with the 24-year-old keen to move after Chelsea added Liam Delap and Joao Pedro in attack.

Kevin 'agrees terms with Fulham'
Fulham have agreed personal terms with Kevin ahead of the winger's proposed £34.5m move from Shakhtar Donetsk, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano reports that the 22 year-old Brazilian wide man has agreed a long-term contract at Craven Cottage – and the deal is due to be completed shortly, despite significant deadline day interest from Sporting Club de Portugal.

Fulham secure Brazilian – Late competition looks a ruse
Earlier on Monday, we covered claims from Brazil and Portugal which reported Sporting CP had agreed to match Fulham's offer for Kevin.
The Premier League club had been seen as in pole position to secure the Brazilian from Shakhtar, with reports saying Fulham would pay around €40m for the attacker.
When the Sporting claims arose, we pointed out that the Lisbon club have never paid anything like that for a signing. Indeed their highest incoming transfer is about €15m less than that figure, so it would be a big surprise if Sporting were really fighting Fulham for the deal.
A likelier scenario, perhaps, was pressure being put on Fulham to get the deal done. And that may have just done the trick.
Brazilian journalist Andre Hernan reports Fulham have now agreed a deal to sign Kevin. The London club will be securing the attacker for a €42m fee, with his current club entitled to 25% from any further profit.
Kevin is a 22-year-old attacker who can play across the front three or on either wing.

Leeds United take a giant step closer towards Harry Wilson deal as two Fulham dominos fall into place
Leeds United are pushing to do a late deal for Harry Wilson from Fulham before Monday's deadline, and two obstacles Leeds need to fall into place, are close to being confirmed.
It emerged on Monday afternoon that after deadline-day links with Emi Buendia and Manor Solomon, that Leeds were looking at Fulham's Harry Wilson. Initially, a loan bid from Leeds was rejected for Wilson.
But Leeds have remained in talks and there is a confidence that a deal can be done for the Wales star, who is a National teammate of Ethan Ampadu, Dan James, Joe Rodon and goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
It has been reported that Fulham will only sanction Wilson's exit if Fulham sign two or three attacking options before the deadline. Fulham are in talks for Kevin, Samuel Chukwueze, and Tyrique George.
Two massive steps towards Leeds signing Harry Wilson
Reports said Fulham want two or three of the above list in order to process a Wilson exit, with Fulham preferring a permanent sale of the Wales star. Well, it appears they are about to sign on the dotted line.
Fabrizio Romano delivered the first update before 6pm, posting on X in an exclusive that Fulham have done a deal for Brazilian talent Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk. The first domino Leeds needed for Wilson.
Then, a few minutes later, Romano confirmed that Fulham have also agreed a deal for Nigeria attacker Chukwueze. The latter is set to join on a loan-to-buy deal, while Kevin is joining for a fee north of £35m.
Leeds will now be hoping to hear from Fulham very soon
It all depends on Fulham, now. The report stated that Fulham wanted two or three dominoes to fall into place. Two have, but Fulham may continue to delay a move for Wilson as they wait for George to sign.
But Kevin and Chukwueze are in and if Wilson was unsure about his Fulham future to begin with, he will now. Two players brought in that instantly go above the former Liverpool man in the pecking order.
Leeds will be hoping to receive some good news from Fulham and be able to agree a fee for Wilson before the deadline strikes, with less than an hour until it all ends. Daniel Farke will be waiting, nervously.

Chukwueze set to sign for Fulham
AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is set to sign for Fulham on a season-long loan, according to Italian reporter Matteo Moretto.
Moretto has tweeted that 'the very last details of the deal have been finalised and the deal has been closed with signatures incoming'.

Romano: 'Here we go' – Chukwueze to Fulham 'agreed' after deal clarification
It seems a deal for Samuel Chukwueze has been completed between AC Milan and Fulham in the past few minutes.
Chukwueze's time with Milan didn't go how anyone really expected. An electric young winger who seemed to have bags of potential never hit the ground running, instead falling behind the obviously brilliant Christian Pulisic.
However, the Rossoneri have refused to give up on their investment, and he has stuck around longer than most would have probably expected. However, the past two mercatos have shown that his time with the club is up.
Here we go: Chukwueze
In January, there were suggestions that he could leave for elsewhere, but nothing went through, despite several discussions. Now, it has taken until deadline day, but a move for the winger has been completed.
Chukwueze travelled to London on Sunday night and completed a medical on deadline day; however, there were questions about his situation, with a deal not agreed. Just 45 minutes before the deadline, though, things got over the line, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
"Samu Chukwueze to Fulham, here we go! Deal agreed on initial loan with buy option clause not mandatory. Total package could reach fee over €25/26m, he's now at Fulham training ground after medical already done."

'Here We Go': Fulham to sign £35m attacker and Chelsea star with 132 Premier League goals could follow
Marco Silva wanted Fulham transfers and appears to be getting them on Deadline Day.
Fulham are set to see a flurry of action before the transfer window slams shut at 7 pm with Marco Silva looking to improve his options in attacking positions.
The Cottagers have scored just two goals in their opening three Premier League fixtures this season with two draws and a defeat to their name. Silva had been critical of the club's slow progress in the summer window but it looks to be a busy end to Fulham's dealings.
The London outfit had been battling Portuguese side Sporting CP over a move for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Kevin and now appear to have won that battle. The deal is set to be a club record fee.
Fulham beat Sporting CP in transfer race
The BBC report that the transfer is set to cost £34.6 million, which eclipses the previous record of £27 million to bring Emile Smith Rowe to the club from Arsenal last summer. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has given that move the 'here we go' treatment.
He took to social media platform X and wrote: "EXCLUSIVE: Fulham agree deal for Kevin also on player side, here we go! €40m plus €5m add-ons, long term deal agreed with Kevin and deal sealed now. Despite Sporting pushing, Kevin joins #FFC."
The winger, who came through the youth academy at Palmeiras before making the move to Shakhtar in 2024. Kevin already has five goals in five appearances so far this season and arrives at Craven Cottage with Champions League and Europa League experience.
Chelsea striker also targeted by Cottagers
The signing of Kevin could be followed with the addition of another wide man for Silva's squad. Fulham have also been linked with a Deadline Day move for out of favour Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling.
The 30-year-old, who has 123 goals in 396 Premier League appearances, spent last season at Arsenal but struggled for opportunities at the Emirates Stadium. He has since returned to Stamford Bridge but is not part of Enzo Maresca's first team plans.
Fulham do face competition from West Ham, according to Football Insider, but the player's lofty wages are believed to be proving an issue. In July, the BBC claimed that Chelsea would accept a £20 million bid for the player, who still has two years on his deal - and that a sale is preferred over a loan.
In other news, Fulham man approached in 'late' transfer move by Leeds United before the deadline.

Official | Strasbourg sign Fulham winger Martial Godo
Martial Godo (22) has completed a Deadline Day move from Fulham to RC Strasbourg Alsace, both clubs have announced. The 22-year-old winger has penned a five-year deal with the BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side. Strasbourg have already been extremely active in the transfer window, making close to 15 signings. Godo has played only six games for his formative club, registering one assist in that time. He spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Wigan Athletic, where he scored four goals and registered four assists in League One.
Last season, Godo made five appearances under tutelage of Fulham FC head coach Marco Silva. The 22-year-old is the second Premier League player to sign for Chelsea today, given Brighton attacking midfielder Julio Enciso has signed a four-year deal with the Alsatians, who will feature in the UEFA Conference League this season.

Chelsea winger Tyrique George is currently undergoing a medical at Motspur Park ahead of his proposed deadline day move to Fulham, according to Peter Rutzler.
The deal, believed to be worth up to £22m, has been accelerated due to Fulham's desire to add more wingers to their first team squad. The nineteen year-old, who came on for Chelsea in Saturday's SW6 derby victory over the Whites, has scored three goals in 27 games for the Blues – with his first Premier League goal coming in Enzo Maresca's side's 2-1 win at Craven Cottage last season.
George is understood to have agreed a five-year contract with the Cottagers.

Andreas Pereira lands in São Paulo – Fulham exit sealed as club confirmed €10m deal
Andreas Pereira has now landed in São Paulo to begin his spell at Palmeiras, after completing a €10m (£8.4m) move from Fulham.
The midfielder, who signed a contract until December 2028, arrived in Brazil on Monday evening with his family and is expected to be presented at the club in the coming days.
The deal was finalised without any bureaucratic obstacles, ensuring his registration with the Brazilian FA before the transfer window closed on Tuesday.
The timing is seen as ideal by Palmeiras, with the international break giving Andreas close to two weeks to adapt before his likely league debut on 13 September. He is also expected to be available for the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores against River Plate.
As relayed by ESPN Brazil, Andreas revealed the club's persistence was key in his decision: "The interest that Palmeiras showed in me was very special and gratifying. I thank the club for trusting my work and giving me the opportunity to wear the shirt of such a gigantic team. I can't wait to arrive in Brazil."
He also highlighted the support from the fans and his first impressions of the club's infrastructure: "I received countless messages of support that gave me the certainty that I made the right decision when I accepted Palmeiras' offer. Even in Europe, you don't see a structure like Palmeiras has, and from what I've been told, it has only improved since I visited with the Brazilian national team. Working in a training centre like this is something every professional player dreams of."
As reported by several local sources last week, Palmeiras and Fulham agreed a €10m transfer fee, but to be paid in installments over four years – a detail that contradicts earlier reports suggesting three years.
With the paperwork now complete and the player already in Brazil, Andreas Pereira is officially ready to start his new chapter in Brazil.

Fulham work on signing Bayern Munich's Jonah Kusi-Asare
As we enter the final minutes of the transfer window, Fulham are working on a deal to sign Bayern Munich forward Jonah Kusi-Asare (18) – presumably on loan – according to Kerry Hau. Talks between both clubs are ongoing, but time is running out. However, should the Premier League club fail in their attempts to sign the Swedish forward, a departure in the coming days could still happen with Holland, Belgium and Austrian transfer windows still open.
Bayern Munich's willingness in allowing Kusi-Asare to leave is because of the imminent arrival of Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson (24) on a season-long loan with a mandatory option to buy. Had the Senegalese international not signed, then Kusi-Asare would play a back-up role to Harry Kane. Werder Bremen also showed interest in the youngster, but they opted for a bit more experience in Werder Bremen's Victor Boniace.
Slavia Prague and PSV are also clubs that have shown interest in Kusi-Asare.

Fulham make late Kusi-Asare loan move
Fulham are trying to bring in Bayern Munich striker Jonah Kusi-Asare on loan, according to various reports this evening.
The Swedish under-21 international has made just two first-team appearances for Bayern – having come through the youth set-up of IF Brommapojkarna and AIK. Kusi-Asare impressed during Bayern's pre-season tour after being called up for friendly fixtures against Lyon and Tottenham Hotspur and the 6ft 5in eighteen year-old would offer Marco Silva a different option up front.
The Whites are scrambling to get several deals done before the 7pm transfer deadline.

Wilson 'set to stay at Fulham'
Harry Wilson is set to stay at Fulham, according to the Independent's Miguel Delaney – despite serious interest from Leeds United on transfer deadline day.
Leeds have already seen a loan bid rejected by Fulham and had been in frenzied negotiations with the Cottagers about the possibility of a permanent deal. That switch seemed in the balance for most of the day, but Delaney has tweeted in the last five minutes that the transfer 'is in real difficulty'. The Independent's chief football writer says that Wilson 'looks like staying at Fulham, bar a drastic change'.

Samuel Chukwueze set to join Fulham as deal agreed
AC Milan star Samuel Chukwueze is reportedly set to join Fulham on a season-long loan deal with a purchase option.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed it on X: Samuel Chukwueze is heading to Fulham. The Premier League club has agreed on a loan deal with AC Milan for the Nigerian winger, with an option to buy included in the package. The total deal could exceed €25–26 million if all conditions are met. Chukwueze has already completed his medical and is at the Fulham training ground to finalise the move.
A new chapter after a frustrating spell in Italy
Chukwueze arrived at AC Milan in the summer of 2023 from Villarreal, signing a five-year contract and carrying plenty of expectation. Known for his pace and trickery, he was viewed as an exciting addition to the Rossoneri's frontline. However, his time in Italy has been underwhelming. Across 69 appearances in all competitions, he managed just eight goals and struggled to cement himself as a regular starter.
Before moving to Lombardy, Chukwueze had established himself as a standout performer in La Liga, where he played a key role in Villarreal's 2020–21 Europa League triumph. His performances for the Yellow Submarine earned him international recognition too, with the winger amassing 46 caps for Nigeria. Now, at 25 years old, he is eager to reignite his career in England.
Fulham's quiet summer explodes
This transfer marks a much-needed injection of quality for Fulham. Until now, the club's only incoming signing had been 34-year-old goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte and a deal has also been agreed for Kevin. Meanwhile, they have seen important departures: midfielder Andreas Pereira returned to Brazil to join Palmeiras, while striker Carlos Vinícius left on a free transfer.
Chukwueze's arrival should give Marco Silva's side fresh attacking options, particularly in wide areas where dynamism and creativity have been lacking. With his ability to beat defenders one-on-one and his experience on the European stage, the Nigerian winger could prove to be a difference-maker as Fulham look to push beyond mid-table safety this season.
This deal has the potential to be a turning point for both Chukwueze and Fulham. For the player, it offers a chance to revive his reputation in a league that suits fast, direct wingers. For Fulham, it's a statement signing after a relatively quiet summer, signalling ambition in a competitive Premier League. If Chukwueze adapts quickly and rediscovers the form he showed at Villarreal, the loan could turn into a bargain long-term acquisition.

Kevin set to join Fulham as deal agreed
Marco Silva's Fulham reportedly have an agreement in place to sign 22-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk attacking sensation Kevin.
According to an update by reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kevin is set to join Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk after the West London club reached a full agreement with both the Ukrainian club and the player. The final package is worth €45 million, including add-ons.
Kevin came up the ranks at Palmeiras and just months after getting promoted to their first team, Shakhtar secured his services. During his 18-month-long spell at the Ukrainian club, the 22-year-old winger has been involved in 57 matches and has contributed towards 27 goals.
The South American made a sensational start to the new season. Kevin was involved in five European qualifiers, and he ended up contributing towards seven goals. His sensational performances have not gone unnoticed, as multiple top clubs have been keen on signing the Brazilian winger.
While the player still has three years left on his deal, Shakhtar were open to a potential departure as long as their demands were met. Fulham emerged as favourites for his signature. The Cottagers seek more quality on the flanks, and they consider Kevin an ideal signing to bolster their attack.
Marco Silva has been desperate to have more options on the left flank with Alex Iwobi, the only out-and-out left winger in his squad. While they have been linked with a number of forwards, nothing concrete has happened.
Fulham sign Kevin on deadline day
Kevin emerged as a priority target late in the window, and they have managed to strike a deal with the Ukrainian outfit. The Cottagers have a full agreement in place to sign the 22-year-old. The player has already given the green light to the move, as he is keen on playing in the Premier League.
Fulham will pay €40 million as a fixed fee with another €5 million as add-ons. The Brazilian forward will be signing a long-term deal with Marco Silva's team. While there was significant interest in his services from Sporting, the Premier League outfit have won the race and there should be an official announcement in the next hours.

Fulham sealing record-breaking TRIPLE coup that frees winger to join Leeds
Fulham are soon to secure a record-breaking triple deal which could tee up a Cottagers forward's move to Leeds after an earlier approach for him.
Fulham have spent just £500,000 so far this summer. Their only arrival was that of 34-year-old French goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte – hardly the most rousing.
However, the Cottagers' end to the window could massively excite their fans.
Indeed, there are three big moves in the works at Craven Cottage, all which will improve the attack.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has confirmed after an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for winger Kevin, the Brazilian has agreed personal terms. That will see him move to Fulham on a deal totalling €45million (£38.9m) which is their record transfer.
That looks to be the first of a triple deal, as Romano then posted on X that there's an agreement in place for Samuel Chukwueze to join on an initial loan with an option to buy clause of approximately £21.6million.
Those reports followed TEAMtalk information that Chelsea winger Tyrique George's switch to Fulham is advancing.
Triple exit could pave way for Leeds deal
And with three forwards to join Fulham, Harry Wilson could become surplus to requirements.
Reports earlier suggested that Leeds had a loan offer turned down for Wilson, and it was unclear whether they'd return to the table for him.

Fulham to complete two Deadline Day deals as Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin set for Premier League moves
Marco Silva had been eyeing reinforcements in the final third
Fulham are set to complete a double deal for wingers Samuel Chukweze and Kevin before tonight's transfer deadline.
Both deals remain ongoing, but with Chukweze passing a medical and Kevin having agreed personal terms, Fulham are poised to bring in two new wingers to bolster their attacking ranks.
Kevin arrives from Shakhtar Donetsk for a club-record £34.6million fee while Chukweze joins on loan from AC Milan, with Fulham holding the option to make his move permanent for between £22m-£26m at the end of the season.
Fulham's move for Kevin had been thrown into jeopardy amid interest from Sporting CP, who, according to Sky Sports, had matched Fulham's offer.
However, Fulham appear to have fended off any other interest to bring in Kevin, who excelled for Shakhtar last season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
Chukweze, meanwhile, joins Fulham on loan after struggling for minutes at AC Milan last season.
The 26-year-old started just nine games for the Rossoneri last term.
Fulham are also hoping to conclude a deal for Chelsea winger Tyrique George.
The 19-year-old has been permitted to undergo a medical ahead of a £22million move that will see Chelsea retain a sell-on clause.
With three new wingers potentially through the door before the window shuts, Fulham have sanctioned the £6m departure of Martial Godo to Strasbourg.
The 22-year-old leaves Fulham in search of regular first-team minutes, and he could be joined by Harry Wilson, who is the subject of interest from Leeds United.
Leeds have seen a loan offer for Wilson rejected but remain hopeful of securing a deal for the Welsh international.

Fulham reach agreement to sign Bayern Munich's Jonah Kusi-Asare
Fulham are closing in on a deal to sign Bayern Munich forward Jonah Kusi-Asare (18), according to Kerry Hau. An agreement between all parties for a loan without a purchase option has been reached, and the deal is expected to go through.
Done deal: Milan send Chukwueze to Fulham in potential €25m deal
Milan and Premier League side Fulham have a full agreement in place over a transfer for Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze, who is set to join the West London outfit in a €25m deal.
Done deal: Chukwueze set to join Fulham from Milan
As Football Italia reported on Sunday, Milan and Fulham shook hands over a €25m fee for Chukwueze, who joined the Rossoneri at a cost of €28m including bonuses two summers ago.
Updates from Fabrizio Romano confirm that the deal will comprise an initial loan with a non-mandatory option to buy.
Chukwueze joins a long list of Milan players who have been shown the exit door at San Siro this summer, following Tijjani Reijnders, Theo Hernandez, Malick Thiaw, Noah Okafor, Emerson Royal, Alex Jimenez and most recently Yunus Musah, among several others. The departures have brought in over €200m in revenue for the Rossoneri this summer.
Chukwueze made 33 appearances across all competitions, providing three goals and three assists in his first season after joining from Villarreal. He followed that up with five goals and three assists from 36 outings in 2024-25.

'Almost Done' – Fulham Close On Bayern Munich Star
Fulham have almost completed a deal for Bayern Munich star Jonah Kusi-Asare and are set to beat a host of European sides to his signature.
The Cottagers entered the transfer window with an intention to strengthen their attacking department, but in the dying hours of deadline day, they are still trying to get one in.
They tried for several forwards, most recently with Ajax's Brian Brobbey, but missed out on him as he is set to join Sunderland.
Bayern Munich's Kusi-Asare is someone Fulham have closely monitored and Marco Silva gave his approval to sign the teenager.
A host of European outfits in the form of Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven and Sporting Lisbon are keen on his signature, but Bayern Munich were adamant to keep hold of him until they bring in a forward; Fulham were making a strong effort to land him.
The Bavarian giants were close to signing Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea but the deal collapsed on Sunday.
However, during the late hours of deadline day it was suggested that Bayern Munich had revived the deal with Chelsea for the transfer of Jackson, which boosted Fulham's hopes.
Fulham have found a breakthrough in negotiations with the Bavarian giants and according to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the deal is 'almost done'.
The Cottagers have been holding talks with Bayern Munich regarding a loan deal which will cost €4m.
Now Fulham are likely to have a deal sheet in with the Premier League, which will give them until 9pm to complete the deal.
Bayern Munich believe that Asare can become a top attacker and will be keen to see how he does at Fulham.

'Almost Done': Fulham in 'Race Against Time' to Complete Hat-Trick of Attacking Signings
After a boring and disappointing summer for Fulham fans, the club have turned it on this deadline day. They had made just one "signing" all summer: Benjamin Lecomte, a 34-year-old back-up goalkeeper who cost only half a million pounds. However, they are now making a late push for three attacking signings: Kevin, Samuel Chukwueze, and Kusi Asare.
Be sure to keep up with all of our Transfer Deadline Day coverage on this hectic summer window closer.
Fulham Racing Against Time for Triple Signing
Kusi Asare Almost Done
The final piece of the hat-trick, Asare, is almost done, according to Florian Plettenberg. Fulham are in a "race against time" but will hope to get it over the line before the deadline. They will sign him on loan, with no option to buy, as Bayern Munich rate him so highly. The fee will be up to €4 million (around £3.5 million).
Fulham beat Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven and Sporting Lisbon to the signing.
Fulham Beat Sporting to Kevin Signing As Well
Not only have Fulham beaten Sporting to the signing of Asare, they also beat them to the signing of promising winger Kevin. That deal is a permanent one, at around £30 million up front with £4 million in add-ons. Fabrizio Romano gave his famous "Here We Go" for the transfer.
Samuel Chukwueze Loan
Another signing that Romano has given his "Here We Go" for is Chukwueze. This is a loan, like Asare, but this time with a buy option (that is not mandatory). Whilst the total package could be over £20 million, Fulham are showing that they are still unwilling to spend too much, with two of their three signings being loans. It appears that they have put most of their eggs in the Kevin basket.
