Post by: Rupert on December 13, 2025, 08:14:06 PM
Now that we have finally turned over Burnley on their patch for the first time since Nero was the emperor, who are our new bogey team?

Palace at the Cottage, we've a reasonable record at Selhurst Park

It's a weird one because you'd think either team would be better at home.

Posted this about a week ago on the subject of bogey teams.................

Man City who we haven't beaten in 25 games, including 19 straight defeats in all competitions (which in itself includes 16 straight PL defeats).

Arsenal who we have never beaten in a game at their place (32 games without a win stretching back over 100 years).

Thanks for this. I had a feeling we have never beaten Arsenal at their place. Well, we have finally turned over Burnley, so Arsenal should be a lot easier.

We tend to play better against the better teams.
