Title: Nfr: Today’s Games
Post by: SP on December 14, 2025, 02:11:43 PM
Some important games for the bottom feeders.

Palace can make a real statement today if they don't run out of steam.

Burn off injured for Newcastle. Didnt look too serious but may impact prep for Wednesday

The Forest goal reminded me of the one we gave away via Leno and King. A dumb keeper pass to a blindsighted player. Also to a youngster player in
Grey.

The third relegation place looks like it's going to be a real scrap.

I'd like Brentford and Leeds to draw later so they both drop points.

Has Vicario played his last game for Spurs? The fans must now be going mental. I don't blame them.

I am really surprised at how bad Spurs are this season, I thought Franck would do a good job.

It might just be the players.

Lots of individual talent but no identity. They also seem to have made a habit of adding players who might lack character.

Palace's December schedule is crazy, I don't think their squad is deep enough.

They are also missing James Maddison, who has been out all season injured.

Brentford's Ouattara looks even a bigger diver than Sterling.

Sunderland are the luckiest team ever. I mean they obviously work really hard, but if I'm being honest, I don't think they deserved half of their points.

I see WHU are away to Man City next week, dreaming of their long overdue relegation.  I doubt Sir Trevor could save them again.

With their 5 man defence Leeds are showimg too muvh respect. Unless they get a throw-in Brentford look very poor.

Leeds are getting hard done by these refs. They should have had two pens so far.

Bus stop 1-0 up.

Need to definitely beat West Ham when we play them.... Could be a ten point gap by close of play going into the new year from the bottom three.

If Brentford wins and Bournemouth gets a point or more then this will be the third or fourth win in a row that doesn't move us up a single position ::cry::

Brentford and Leeds both dropping points in their draw cannot be bad for us.

Now for Man Utd yo beat Bournemouth tomorrow night please.

Definitely, but sadly them now leading doesn't do us any favours, although normally I'd be more than happy to see United losing!

I don't mind it. This keeps both of them close to us.

Now reported he also has a punctured lung. Will be out for several weeks.

Handy for us but I wouldn't wish that injury on such a genuine pro and decent bloke.

Ideal result in the game today, imo. I think we'll be fighting both teams later in the season for the European spots, so both winning only 1 point could be important later on.

Woah, woah. Europe? Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're just as capable of going on a bad run as we are to go on a good run but let's just concentrate on getting to 40 first.

We were close to Europe last season and this season we have more or less the same teams with some good additions. I think that we were very unlucky with referees and injuries and I'm optimistic that that is behind us and from now on the only way is up.

Also we are only 1 and 6 points behind the teams in question. We can definitely go ahead of them before the end of the season.
