Title: NFR Leeds
Post by: Dodger53 on December 16, 2025, 09:20:03 AM
On our way from Sussex to Newcastle we decided to stay last night in Leeds. I have to say we think it's a lovely city. Great architecture, pubs, arcades and a great buzz about it. Now which way to Newcastle COYWs
Apparently we've sold 1700+ tickets.

It is a fun city, going up for two nights for the Leeds game

It is a lovely city spoilt only by the people.

The city has grown on me, the people I've met there have always been great.  But the one way inner ring road is absolutely and uniquely diabolical and if you want to bond quickly with locals there is no better conversation starter because, in my experience, they all think so too.

It's possibly improved since I went last, but I'd now take some convincing to go by car.

It's a great city, but I don't love the city centre there so much.

You'll have a great time in Newcastle, it's my favourite second city in England. Beautiful, great people and pubs.

Spent six years at university in Leeds a long time ago. Great beer and super pubs, friendly people, weather a bit rubbish. That was a lot of years ago but I've heard really good reports about how the city is today.

Apart from the scum that support that club I'm sure it's just lovely

And I'm very certain that by no means all Leeds supporters are scum.

Slight change of topic but Calvert-Lewin on a free is looking like a great bit of business.

It is, I called for us to sign him several times, would have suited our setup
