Who was your FOF Man of the Match v Nottingham Forest and why? Vote and let us know below 👇🏻 #ffc
I've been one of Joachim's biggest critics, but tonight he was huge. Very vocal and marshaled a defense that kept a clean sheet.
Tete for me
I thought Joachim Anderson looked a captain tonight and was instructing the teammates rightly. Much that I like Tom Cairney wearing the armband, Anderson really is Fulham's captain defacto.
King Kenny- tireless, superb again.
Kenny Tete for me
Jiminez
Kenny Tete was my
Man of the match, but Anderson showed he is a good Captain and a leader.
One of Andersen, Tete and Cuenca
Went for Andersen but, like Jolslover, any of Tete, Cuenca or Joa. What a competitor Cuenca is, Bassey may struggle to get his place back. ESR most improved player this season? Another solid, if unspectacular performance last night.
Tete got my vote
Tete, but the vote doesn't seem to register.
AI said Kevin but my vote goes to Cairney as I thought we were sure to concede until he came ensuring our posession doubled.
In reality one of the defence deserved it, but I voted for ESR because I really enjoyed his first half performance.
Definitely Tete. Andersen and Cuenca were great as well and Cairney changed the game when we couldn't keep the ball at all.
Jimenez for only goal again
Kenny tete for me immense effort back and forth protecting our goal .
Lukic had his best game in a while looking back to fitness. Andersen for me however.
There were a few candidates in a poor game. Andersen and cuenca were excellent, tete almost unbeatable.
Esr was silky the first half and Raul showed some good touches.
Lukic my mom, he's just so good at breaking up opposition momentum. Especially when you look who was in their mf.
Tete for me, but notable mentions for Andersen and Raul.
Tete was obviously MoM until Tom cairney came on.
He was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch. the game changed froma guaranteed defeat to a comfortable win. He remains our best player and we should see so much more of him.
Cuenca for me. He's not played much and coped well with the high press.
I thought Andersen looked a real leader, Jimenez never stopped working. Tete excellent, TC changed the game. For me Cuenca. He has sat watching for most of the season and I did like his forward excursion. A genuine prospect. But I think all collectively gave to the cause. ::scarf:: :claping20hands: ::thumb::
Andersen for me.
Anderson for me! Playing with that gnarly finger injury was the icing on the cake
I'm sorry but I'm a bit perplexed by the votes for Tete.
He seemed out of sorts and out of form. I was calling for him to be substituted for Castagna. I felt Castagna would be more attacking and get the ball to Wilson more who was increasingly isolated due to lack of service.
I would've gone Kevin or Jiminez. I hadn't quite appreciated Kevin's performance from the stands.. but seeing the highlights I will put him up there.
I immediately noticed Cuenca talk to most everybody just before the match started and seemed to indicate "through me, trust me", as if he was captain and had 100 games with everybody already. And indeed in the first half i think almost every other pass was sent to him from everywhere. I get the feeling he desperately wanted Marco to see his energy and commitment and how involved he could be and that he deserves his spot even with Bassey back. To me it worked brilliantly, pushing more energy into the team, especially Andersen who seemed to grow on the confidence and presence of his partner. Would be my MotM if Andersen had not played his most rock solid match for us since he returned permanently. And with the pain of a displaced finger on top of it and keeping a clean sheet, that makes him the clear winner to me. Honourable mention to TC who made a huge difference with his calm and clever appearance, what a legend.
Back four much better than v Burnley. Very hard to pick motm in this game, was very frustrating and poor show in my view, no one really stood out for me. I suppose, since back four was fairly strong and kept the clean sheet, one of Andersen or Tete probably gets it. Thought Cuenca and Robinson were ok. Kevin I thought had a decent game, needs to shoot more when chance presents. ESR and Wilson not really impactful. Tete gets my vote, Andersen close second.
