Algeria looking very good today. If things go as you'd expect (obviously no guarantee of that, of course) Nigeria and Algeria would meet in the quarters a week before our match against Leeds.

In spite of my Fulham allegiances I can't help but want them to win it.

They're good guys with great energy and an AFCON win would be an amazing experience for them. I want good things for them as people, they deserve it. Plus perhaps winning it might carry over and bring that winning energy and form when they return.

Good luck to the innit boys!

I also want Nigeria to win. I don't get why I wouldn't support 3 of our players. We can survive a few additional games without them, I'd rather they have an enjoyable AFCON campaign then have them back early.
