Dislocated his finger last night and the pain must have been excruciating, he easily could have left the field (And who would have blamed him) and had Christmas off,
Did he take the easy option, No, he manned up and put the club before himself,
Went up massively in my estimation, I can think of a couple in our squad who would definitely asked to come off,
Take a bow Joa 👏🏻
Hockey players go to the dressing room, take stitches in the face, and return to play. I've seen players lose teeth, go to dressing room, and return to play.
Just sayin'.....
(Yes, well done to Andersen for fighting through his injury)

Agreed with the praise, disagree with the comment about our other players. I don't think any of our players would ask to come off. In fact, a lot of them have played through injury multiple times.

Spot on. Our boys don't do that.
here's what his finger looked like before attention...

I dislocated a couple of fingers playing rugby and a team mate put them back in for me and they were then taped.
An unpleasant experience, but not something that you would want to leave the field for.

There was a ice hockey player who had his throat slit in a game, amazingly the physio was ex military and held his breathing pipe together to get stitched up.
He not only survived but he played the game next week.
Why the need to talk about hockey players? 😆 Joa is a complete badass. That's the takeaway.

This is why there is a football-hockey comparison
