TEAM NEWS
We await an official update on Patrick Chinazaekpere, after he was withdrawn in some discomfort, following his amazing goal, in the 3-2 win at Arsenal.
Noussair Mazraoui, back from Africa Cup of Nations duty, came off the bench late on to make his first appearance since the win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on 8 November.
Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee were unavailable for the Emirates Stadium victory, when Carrick named an unchanged line-up from the derby success against City.
As for the visitors, Sasa Lukic has picked up a thigh injury and Rodrigo Muniz, who scored an own goal in the reverse fixture, is also set to miss out.
However, defender Kenny Tete could return.
Adama Traore has completed a move across the capital to West Ham United.
FORM GUIDE AND PAST MEETINGS
We have only lost one of our last 20 Premier League clashes with the west Londoners, although they did knock us out of the Emirates FA Cup last season, winning a penalty shootout at Old Trafford.
Fulham also won at the Theatre of Dreams in February 2024, despite a goal from Harry Maguire.
The Reds have scored one goal in each of our last six outings against the Cottagers and skipper Bruno Fernandes has five strikes to his name against them.
In the reverse fixture in the capital, our first away game of the campaign, the final scoreline was 1-1, with Muniz's own goal, initially looking to be Leny Yoro's first Premier League strike, levelled by Emile Smith Rowe.
DID YOU KNOW?
Michael Carrick is bidding to become the fifth United manager to remain unbeaten in his first five league matches.
Across the two spells at the helm, our former midfielder would emulate Herbert Bartlett, Sir Matt Busby, Frank O'Farrell and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in this regard.

The FFC Rumour Mill: Pepi deal nears, Bobb has medical, and Adama exits
Here are all the ins and outs in the final Rumour Mill of the window.
With the January transfer window closing in less than a week, it seems that - typically - Fulham are pulling into gear.
The Whites' 2-1 win over Brighton last weekend has propelled us into seventh and into serious European conversations. Now Fulham need to be active this window in raising the squad's floor, and going off of the rumours this week, we seem to be doing just that! Let's take a look.
Incomings
The biggest news of the week comes in the form of the imminent signing of Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb. Numerous sources report that the youngster is undergoing a medical on Thursday and the deal may well be announced by the time you read this. Fabrizio Romano reported yesterday that a deal had been agreed between the two clubs for £27m.
I wrote an article on Tuesday about Bobb so won't give too much away here, but this is exactly the type of profile Fulham should be targeting.
Elsewhere, Fulham have not given up on Ricardo Pepi after submitting a £28m bid for him earlier this week. While PSV have rejected this bid, talks are advanced according to Ben Jacobs with Fulham not falling too far off the valuation set by the Dutch side for the American forward. Pepi is currently out for the next four weeks with a broken arm, but Fulham view Pepi as a long-term target and are keen to get this done before Monday's 7pm deadline.
The positive news keeps on coming in SW6, with club captain Tom Cairney signing a new one-year deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2027. The deal will see TC be at the club for 12 years. He's shown he's still more than capable at this level and after the fiasco last season about whether he would sign or not, it's good that the club have acted early to get this piece of business done.
Sticking with those currently at the club, reports in Italy suggest Samuel Chukwueze will stay at Fulham. It's an offer that the Whites won't take up until the summer, but Milan will receive around £23m as a result of the sale. Personally, I'd be all over this one (assuming nothing disastrous happens in the second half of the season). Chukwueze has been exceptional for us and deserves to stay at the club and having him alongside Wilson, Kevin and Bobb (hopefully) would give us a formidable attack for the future.
Finally, Sky Sports have reported that Fulham have held positive talks with KRC Genk for South Korean international Oh Hyeon-gyu. I don't know much about him, but he's scored 10 times this season in the Belgian league, and may be a Pepi alternative should a deal for the USMT international collapse.
Outgoings
Adama Traore to West Ham was announced on Wednesday, with the Spaniard calling time on his two-and-a-half year stay in SW6. Fulham reportedly received £2m for the winger - a far cry from the £7m they initially demanded.
Harry Wilson has once again been the topic of conversation with the BBC claiming his contract talks are on hold until Fulham sort out Silva's contract, while Sky Sports go even further, claiming that the Welsh wizard is "increasingly likely" to depart on a free in the summer.
This all feels a little bit agent-led and I wouldn't read too much into it. Wilson's agent is understandably demanding a healthy pay rise given his up-turn in form and Fulham you imagine will pay it. The Bobb situation doesn't change things, this is one that will roll on into the summer months.

"A few million more" – Fulham effort has paid off, club now open to sale
Fulham's persistence appears to have paid off as PSV Eindhoven are now open to selling striker Ricardo Pepi.
That's according to journalist Rik Elfrink, via FC Update. The website covers comments from the 'PSV watcher' and it's good news for Fulham.
They've been chasing Pepi since last summer as they look to strengthen Marco Silva's attacking options. PSV, though, have always resisted a deal.
That remained the case this month. Fulham's €32m bid was rejected out of hand by the Dutch club. They seemed determined to keep Pepi until the summer. Reports in the Netherlands explained that the Dutch side thought the striker could have a good World Cup and thus get a 'World Cup bonus'.
Unperturbed, Fulham have continued to push. They've even continued to push despite Pepi currently being out with a broken arm. And they've been given help from the press in the Netherlands, who've insisted PSV should take the money and run.
Fulham spending may be slowing
The latest reports indicated that PSV's resistance may be breaking. Although any deal was not expected to take place until deadline day of the January transfer window next week.
Elfrink pretty much backs that up today. He says there is just a couple of million now separating the two sides. Crucially, though, PSV are now open to a sale.
"(PSV) want a few million more," he explained on the Heet van de Herdgang podcast. The journalist then explained that replacements are already being looked at. They include Hee-Chan Hwang at Wolves, Álvaro Rodríguez at Elche and Mika Biereth at AS Monaco. The fact replacements are being looked for is a sign of PSV being willing to sell.
The Dutch side would be wise not to wait too long, though. With Fulham already splashing the cash on Oscar Bobb, their reserves could start running low. As others have said, now may be the time to take the money while it's on offer.

EXCLUSIVE: Emily Wallace on signing for Norwich City, and promotion tussle with Fulham
Emily Wallace is ready to focus solely on football.
The 23-year-old full back has just signed a professional contract with fourth-tier Norwich City – switching from tier three's AFC Wimbledon.
Amidst the excitement of househunting in Norfolk, she's getting used to having daily access to football rather than training twice a week around a couple of part-time jobs to pay the bills
"That was really appealing," she tells SheKicks.net. "It's a step up in terms of training load, and I think, obviously at my age, being more full time is what I'm after."
She adds: "I don't have to worry about getting up, going to work – it's everything [is] into football and what I do is for football."
Wallace's previous clubs include Oxford United, Watford and Rugby Borough, so she has great experience at a higher level – and she's been impressed with what she's seen at Norwich so far.
"Some top tier three clubs don't have access to what we have access to," she says. "It shows that Norwich are set up for success hopefully going forward – and if we do get promoted, the foundations are already there to compete in a higher, tier 3 league."
Emily Wallace: There are no easy games
The Canaries have lost just one league match so far this season, and sit one point behind Fulham in the FA Women's National League Division One South East.
They were frustrated to drop points in a 1-1 draw against Luton Town last weekend – but Fulham also failed to win, drawing 2-2 with Dulwich Hamlet.
And the crunch match comes next weekend when the Lilywhites travel to East Anglia for a top-of-the-table tussle.
"No game is an easy game," says Wallace. "Anyone can beat anyone. We're competing with Fulham mainly at the top of the league and they've dropped points, we've dropped points.
"And they've got to come to us at the Nest – which should be a good game!"
Keeping up that unbeaten streak is easier said than done – but Wallace says she and her new team-mates are set on their promotion goal.
"It's all mentality, I think," she says, "and we do have quite a strong mentality within the group – so hopefully that stands us in good stead."

Fulham sign Oscar Bobb from Manchester City: Is Samuel Chukwueze in trouble?
English Premier League side Fulham have reportedly signed Norwegian attacker Oscar Bobb from Manchester City in a deal worth €27 million.
The Cottagers have been in talks with the Premier League champions for weeks regarding the tricky 22-year-old winger.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, an agreement was finally reached on Wednesday. Bobb, known for his pace and technical proficiency, is expected to provide a significant boost to Fulham's attacking options.
The signing comes at a critical point in the campaign. As the season enters its second half, the fixtures become more demanding and the stakes higher.
Fulham currently sit 7th in the Premier League table, just four points shy of a UEFA Champions League spot. With Bobb in the squad, the dream of European football feels increasingly attainable.
However, the Norwegian's arrival may create stiff competition for the team's other left-footed forwards, most notably Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze.
How Oscar Bobb's Arrival Impacts Samuel Chukwueze at Fulham
With the deal for Oscar Bobb finalized, Fulham's existing wingers will likely be on high alert. Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze, in particular, will need to maintain his high standards to keep his place in the starting XI.
Chukwueze joined Fulham on a one-year loan from AC Milan in the summer and has been in sensational form, registering three goals and four assists in just 10 appearances.
While he has already been battling Kevin for a starting role, the addition of Bobb makes the competition for places even more intense.
As a loan player, Chukwueze faces the pressure of delivering consistent performances to avoid being returned to his parent club.
However, manager Marco Silva may look to implement a tactical system that accommodates both Bobb and Chukwueze (or Kevin) simultaneously.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international is clearly enjoying life in England. He will be hoping to maintain his momentum to secure a permanent contract at Craven Cottage by the end of the season.

Fulham FC Riverside Stand to offer hospitality at Boat Race

The Riverside Stand at Fulham FC will host Boat Race hospitality
A new premium hospitality has been added to the route of the iconic Boat Race, with the Fulham FC Riverside Stand hosting the new space.
Fulham Pier will host hospitality for the Boat Race, which is sponsored by Chanel, in April.
It's the first time the space has been open to the public for the race, with Fulham FC's Riverside stand opening for the first time last spring.
Director of Fulham Pier Glen Sutton said: "We're proud to showcase our premium, elevated hospitality for The Boat Race, a moment that reflects the magic of London on the river.
"On Race Day, Fulham Pier will offer a welcoming riverside destination with front-row views and a range of ways to experience the event, from lively social spaces to elevated offerings for those looking to make a real occasion of the day".
Boat Race hospitality
The Blues' Club at Fulham Pier has two offerings, one at £79 per person and the other at £229, while Brasserie Constance and Flo Bar elsewhere on the site will offer other experiences for the race day, which will be broadcast on Channel 4 for the first time in decades.
Siobhan Cassidy, chair of The Boat Race Company, added: "We're delighted to announce this new collaboration with Fulham Pier. The Boat Race, London's 'Party By the River', is an iconic sporting and cultural event, known for celebrating British excellence, which our new premium hospitality experience embodies."
Cambridge won the men's and women's races in 2025, leaving the overall records as 88-81 in the favour of Cambridge Men and 49-30 in the favour of Cambridge Women.
The Boat Race began in 1829 with Fulham FC's Craven Cottage a recognisable landmark along the route each year.
Last year's regatta was hit by poor quality Thames water, with rowers told not to go into the river.

Sky Sports: Fulham set to sign £27m star with medical today
Fulham close in on winger signing from City
Fulham are expecting Oscar Bobb to undergo a medical today, with a permanent transfer from Manchester City agreed between the clubs. The deal, valued at £27m, includes a 20 per cent sell on clause, while City have also secured matching rights should Fulham later receive an offer, according to Sky Sports.
This structure underlines City's continued belief in the player's long term value, even as they sanction his exit. For Fulham, the focus has been clear and deliberate, moving early to secure a replacement following Adama Traore's departure to West Ham.
Deal details and squad planning
Fulham's priority this window has been to add another winger, and Bobb fits the profile they have targeted, young, technically strong and capable of operating across the front line. The club's recruitment work does not stop there. Talks are ongoing with PSV Eindhoven regarding striker Ricardo Pepi, while discussions with Udinese continue over midfielder Arthur Attra.
Internally, there is confidence that this business reflects a coherent plan rather than reactive spending, with Bobb viewed as a player ready for regular Premier League minutes.
Strategic exit for City
From Manchester City's perspective, this move allows Bobb a clearer pathway to first team football, while safeguarding future upside through clauses built into the agreement. It is a deal that serves both clubs' interests at this stage of the season.
Our View – EPL Index Analysis
This feels like a statement of intent rather than a stop gap solution. Losing Adama Traore left a clear gap, and the club have moved decisively to address it with a player many supporters believe has been waiting for the chance to shine.
There is genuine buzz around Craven Cottage at the idea of adding a winger with Bobb's flair and intelligence. Fans see this as smart recruitment, a player hungry to prove himself, stepping out of City's shadow and into a side that will trust him with responsibility. The £27m fee feels ambitious but justified, especially with the sell on clause reflecting wider market realities.
Supporters are also encouraged by the wider picture. Talks for a striker and midfielder suggest Fulham are not settling. There is optimism that this window could elevate the squad from stability towards something more adventurous. For fans, this deal symbolises ambition, belief and a club that knows exactly what it wants.

Fulham: Oscar Bobb closes in on Man City exit as Ricardo Pepi transfer talks stall
Cottagers having mixed fortunes as Deadline Day looms
Talks between Fulham and PSV Eindhoven have broken down over a deal for Ricardo Pepi.
Fulham submitted a bid for Pepi last weekend, but it remains unclear whether the bid was accepted.
Standard Sport understands there are no talks currently taking place between the two clubs over a deal for the American forward.
Pepi has been a longstanding target for Fulham and the club were prepared to push forward with a deal despite the 23-year-old undergoing surgery on a broken arm earlier this month.
While a deal for Pepi has stalled, Fulham are close to completing a £27million deal for Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb.
Bobb was due to undergo a medical on Thursday ahead of completing a move to Craven Cottage, with City retaining a 20 per cent sell-on clause and matching rights on any future sale.
Fulham have been in the market for attacking reinforcements in January, and sanctioned the departure of Adama Traore to West Ham on Wednesday.
Bobb, meanwhile, is in search of regular first-team football ahead of this summer's World Cup. The Norwegian international has fallen down the pecking order at City following the £62.5m arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.
Fulham have yet to make any new signings in January, but Silva said last week that he and the club were aligned on what needed to be done before next Monday's deadline.
"What I can say is that we were aligned on everything we wanted to achieve in January," Silva said last week.
"The January transfer window is never easy. If the summer window is challenging, you can imagine how difficult January is.
"However, we remain aligned, and I truly believe the club is doing everything possible to implement the plan and structure we agreed on, which will serve us well in January."

Fulham rule out Raheem Sterling move after Oscar Bobb deal
Fulham have ruled out any move for Raheem Sterling as they are close to bringing Oscar Bobb from Manchester City before the deadline.
According to TEAMtalk, Fulham are not planning on reviving the Raheem Sterling chase following the capture of Oscar Bobb from Manchester City. The former Chelsea star left Stamford Bridge by mutual consent following a long spell on the sidelines, but the Cottagers are no longer likely to follow up on their previous interest.
Raheem Sterling's future is about to be resolved, with the hope that the winger finds a new club in the next few days. Having signed from Manchester City in a £50 million deal back in 2022, Sterling's time at Chelsea has gone downhill in the past 18 months or more, while his below-par loan spell at Arsenal has failed to help him kick-start his career.
Chelsea confirmed on Thursday that Sterling has parted ways by mutual consent, and now there could be a new move on the cards. Fulham were interested in him last summer and held talks earlier in January in the hope of securing a move.
Despite their interest, the Cottagers appear to have moved on from the £50 million Chelsea flop, as they have agreed a deal for Oscar Bobb from Manchester City. The move for the young Norwegian winger outlines Fulham's plans for the present and future.
The move for Bobb may also help Fulham in the scenario that star man Harry Wilson leaves in the summer. For now, Bobb is seen more as a replacement for Adama Traore, who joined West Ham. Incidentally, Sterling also had interest from the Hammers, but following the Spanish speedster's arrival, it is unlikely they will pursue a deal for the £50 million Chelsea flop.
What next for Raheem Sterling?
Having been sidelined at Chelsea since the start of the season, Sterling was not training with the first team and was training separately in what was described as a 'Bomb Squad'. The idea of terminating his contract with Chelsea may benefit the winger in a big way, as he prefers to join elsewhere where he can play.
The only caveat is that Sterling is possibly looking to stay in London for the foreseeable future, and might prefer to join a club in the city. It remains to be seen whether there are teams that might consider taking a bet on the former Chelsea attacker, although Fulham are unlikely to be part of the equation.

Sky Sports: Fulham facing major battle to sign Champions League striker
Fulham transfer news as Ricardo Pepi talks with PSV Eindhoven hit pause
Fulham's search for a clinical edge in the final third has taken another frustrating twist, with Sky Sports reporting that their move for PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi has stalled. The original report from Sky Sports' Lyall Thomas and James Cole outlines a deal that feels painfully close yet oddly distant at the same time, a familiar theme for supporters watching deadline days tick away.
According to Sky Sports, "Fulham's pursuit of PSV Eindhoven striker Ricardo Pepi has stalled" and crucially "there are no current talks ongoing for the player". That alone tells a story of a negotiation that has drifted rather than collapsed, but the reason behind the delay adds more intrigue than disappointment.
Transfer valuation gap keeps deal in limbo
At the heart of this stalled transfer lies what should be a manageable difference. As Sky Sports put it, "There is understood to be a gap of just £800,000 (€1m) between the two clubs' respective valuations". In modern Premier League terms, that is small change, yet for PSV it is not only about money.
The Dutch club have their own priorities, with the report stating that "PSV have wanted sign a replacement with at least 48-hours of the window to spare and they are struggling to find one". That is a key detail, as it suggests Fulham are effectively being held hostage by PSV's recruitment challenges. From a Fulham perspective, the frustration will be that the deal is not dead, but it is also not moving forward.
Sky Sports also added that "It therefore remains to be seen whether a deal can be done by Monday". That line perfectly sums up the uneasy waiting game both clubs are now playing, with Fulham needing attacking reinforcements and PSV reluctant to weaken themselves without cover.
Pepi stance and fitness boost
One factor working against Fulham is Pepi's own position. Sky Sports report that "Pepi is content to stay at PSV until the summer if nothing can be agreed". That calm stance from the player takes some urgency out of negotiations, even if Fulham fans would prefer him in black and white sooner rather than later.
There is also encouraging news on his fitness, with Sky Sports stating, "His arm injury is thought to be healing well and he could return in late February, having been originally ruled out until March". That makes Pepi a more attractive option for the rest of the season, but also more valuable to PSV as they push through their own campaign.
The wider context is that "Several other Premier League clubs have shown interest in Pepi over the last year and he can expect to have further interest in the summer if he picks up on his form when he returns". That increases the stakes for Fulham, as waiting could mean losing out to richer or more aggressive rivals.
What it means for Fulham ambitions
From an analytical standpoint, this deal feels delicately poised. Fulham know Pepi fits their profile as a young, mobile striker with room to grow, yet PSV are in no rush to sell. As one could reasonably infer from the Sky Sports report, "a gap of just £800,000" is trivial compared to the sporting impact of losing a forward mid season.
The coming days will show whether Fulham can bridge that gap or whether patience will be tested once again. Right now, the story remains unresolved, exactly as Sky Sports described it.
Our View – EPL Index Analysis
From a Fulham fan's perspective, this update feels like another chapter in a long running saga of nearly but not quite. Reading that "there are no current talks ongoing for the player" is maddening when the clubs are only £800,000 apart. In a league awash with money, it feels penny pinching to allow such a small gap to block a deal that could genuinely improve the team.
Supporters see a side crying out for goals and creativity, yet once again the window threatens to close with business unfinished. PSV wanting 48 hours to line up a replacement makes sense for them, but it leaves Fulham looking passive. Fans want the club to be proactive, not to wait for another team's shopping list to be completed.
Pepi being "content to stay at PSV until the summer" only adds to the anxiety. If he stays, his value could rise, and then Fulham might be priced out altogether. We have seen this movie before. Promising targets slip through our fingers, and by the time summer comes around, bigger clubs sweep in.
There is also the emotional side. Supporters invest hope in these reports, and when they stall, it chips away at trust. Fulham are in the Premier League and should be acting like it, not hesitating over a fee that could define the rest of the season. If this deal dies over £800,000, many fans will feel the club lacked ambition when it mattered most.

Man United vs Fulham line-up prediction: will Dorgu's absence prompt a re-think?
It is typical of Manchester United's luck over the past few years that the player in the hottest form, Patrick Dorgu, has picked up an injury that will keep him sidelined for around 10 weeks.
The club has not confirmed the extent of the injury and is officially still evaluating it, but the ever-reliable Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic has imparted the bad news.
Without Dorgu, the question is whether Michael Carrick will re-introduce Matheus Cunha or Ben Sesko into the front line.
Defence and Midfield
Carrick is expected to keep the same defence that triumphed over both Manchester City and Arsenal under his reign. This means Senne Lammens in goal and a back four of Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw.
Whilst there may be a temptation to give some game time to the likes of Nouss Mazraoui, Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro, especially in a home game against bottom-half opposition, we expect Carrick to resist it.
One of the things that has plagued United over the reigns of Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim was unsettled defences that lacked communication and understanding. United can't afford slip-ups and keeping the same four together will surely be the order of the day.
The most obvious challenger to the status quo would be Matthijs de Ligt, but he is unlikely to have recovered from injury in time to feature.
The midfield double pivot of Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo will also be unchanged, especially given the lack of credible alternatives. Manuel Ugarte and, at a pinch, Mason Mount, are the only other options.
Forwards
Bruno Fernandes will be the number 10, leaving Carrick with the job of picking three from Amad, Bryan Mbeumo, Ben Sesko, Mason Mount and Matheus Cunha.
A straight swap of Cunha for Dorgu on the left is a possibility, with Mbeumo staying up top and Amad on the right. However, we believe Sesko will also be given a start and either the Cameroonian or the Ivorian will be rested – probably the latter.
Josh Zirkzee could also come into contention if he recovers from his small, undisclosed injury in time. More will be known after Carrick's press conference on Friday lunchtime, which will be covered here.
Final thoughts
Defence and midfield unchanged, especially as De Ligt still out
Cunha in for the injured Dorgu
Sesko recalled with Amad rested

What are the clauses added to Bobb's move to Fulham from Manchester City
Manchester City have included several protective clauses in their agreement to sell Oscar Bobb to Fulham, as the Norwegian attacker prepares to continue his career away from the Premier League champions. The move brings an end to a difficult period for Bobb, who struggled for regular game time for much of the current campaign.
The season has not unfolded as the attacker would have hoped. Opportunities were limited, and Bobb was keen to find a club where he could enjoy more minutes and space to develop his game. That opportunity was unlikely to come at City, particularly following their decision to strengthen the squad further in his position. The arrival of Antoine Semenyo underlined the club's lack of confidence in Bobb's ability to fully seize his chances when called upon.
Limited Opportunities at Manchester City
City's pursuit of Semenyo was widely viewed as a clear signal to Bobb that his role at the club had diminished. Despite his talent, the Norwegian found it difficult to break into a side packed with attacking options. The competition for places only intensified as the season progressed, leaving Bobb with little prospect of consistent involvement.
With his development requiring regular football, a move away became increasingly inevitable. Bobb was eager to leave in order to reignite his career and ensure that his progress did not stall further. Manchester City, meanwhile, were open to a permanent transfer but remained keen to protect their long-term interests should the player flourish elsewhere.
Fulham Agreement and Key Clauses
Fulham have now secured Bobb's signature after closely monitoring his situation. The London club faced competition from Borussia Dortmund, but the German side did not pursue the deal with sufficient conviction. As a result, Fulham were able to reach an agreement with City and convince the attacker that Craven Cottage was the right next step in his career.
According to Sky Sports, City has included several notable clauses in the deal. These include a 20 percent sell on clause, ensuring City benefit financially from any future transfer, as well as matching rights should Fulham decide to sell Bobb to another club.
For Fulham, the signing represents an opportunity to add a talented attacker seeking a fresh start. For Bobb, it offers the chance to play regularly and rebuild confidence. For City, the clauses ensure they retain a degree of control over a player they believe could still develop significantly elsewhere.

Gary Neville makes big Premier League prediction for Man Utd vs Fulham
Manchester United legend Gary Neville has made his prediction for Sunday's Premier League clash between the Red Devils and Fulham at Old Trafford.
United have been brilliant under interim head coach Michael Carrick. They have secured statement wins over Manchester City and Arsenal over the last two weeks.
The victory over the Gunners was indeed special, given it was their first league win against the north London side at the Emirates Stadium since December 2017.
United are currently fourth in the table with a slender one-point lead over fifth-placed Chelsea, and the onus is on continuing the winning streak against the Cottagers.
Ahead of Sunday's game at Old Trafford, Neville has backed the Red Devils to pick a 3-1 victory. He believes United will come on top despite a different challenge.
He said on the 'Stick to Football' podcast: "3-1. It's like a different draw, a different type of test on Sunday, which is interesting, but I think they will come on top."
United had a phenomenal record against the Cottagers between 2010 and 2023, with no defeats in any competitions. They picked up 15 wins with just three draws.
However, things have evened out over the past couple of years. In the last five meetings, both teams have won two games each, with a solitary draw that happened this term.
The Red Devils shared the spoils with a 1-1 scoreline in the reverse fixture, but it should have been a routine victory. Bruno Fernandes failed to convert an early penalty.
Fernandes will be determined to put things right this time around. He has a good record against the west London outfit with six goal contributions from 11 previous meetings.
As Neville said, it will be a different kind of test for the club. United capitalised on counter-attacks to beat Man City and Arsenal, but they could face a low-block themselves on Sunday.
Marco Silva's side likewise enjoy scoring from quick counters. The Red Devils must be defensively solid, as the likes of Harry Wilson and Samuel Chukwueze have been in fine scoring form.
United have the opportunity to pick up three straight wins for the first time since October. A victory over the Cottagers would further boost Carrick's prospects of securing the permanent job.
