Fabrizio Romano says Fulham have already opened talks to beat Everton to £35m striker
The transfer window may have just shut, but Fulham are already trying to get an edge on Everton ahead of the summer.
Premier League clubs did not do a lot of business in this year's winter window and Everton were no different.
David Moyes had to wait right until the final moments to see his only signing of the market confirmed on Merseyside.
Despite being linked with a number of players, Everton decided to wait until the summer for a striker signing.
However, there may be one striker target who could be off the radar by the time the summer comes around as Fulham are already lining up a deal.
Fulham aiming to beat Everton to Ricardo Pepi
Everton showed an interest in Ricardo Pepi over the winter window as his future with PSV Eindhoven came under real speculation.
It was not until deadline day that it was decided he would remain in the Netherlands.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Fulham are now looking to pick up their negotiations to agree a deal ahead of the summer.
It is claimed the Fulham management are already locked in talks with both Pepi and PSV to strike the deal.
The Cottagers want this deal wrapped up as early as possible.
Fulham had a bid of around £26m rejected over recent weeks for the American striker, which goes to show roughly how much it will take to secure his services.
Reports have suggested that PSV value Pepi in the region of £35m.
For Everton, their squad is now set for the remainder of the season and Moyes will be hoping his strikers repay his faith in them.
Everton have placed a lot of faith in Thierno Barry and Beto
On paper, the recent weeks have been fairly positive for Everton's two strikers, with some goals being scored by the pair.
Some of their individual performances may not have passed the eye test, but goals is the only thing that matters for a striker.
A lot of clubs showed an interest in Beto over the winter window as Moyes decided he should remain for at least the remainder of the season.
Barry is still the starting striker on Merseyside, but the recent game against Brighton & Hove Albion shows that Beto is still pushing him from the bench.
Perhaps Moyes finally has the healthy competition up front he'd been wishing for all season.

Timings for Celebration Day: Fulham v Everton
Tomorrow marks Fulham's fifth annual Celebration Day. This important initiative recognises the strength of Fulham family, and we ask you to join us tomorrow in remembering those who sadly passed away over the past year.
The partnership between the Trust, who will be represented on the pitch by our Chair, Simon Duke, and our Treasurer, Jerry Cope, and Fulham Football Club will hopefully provide some comfort to those of you who are finding it difficult to come back to Craven Cottage without a loved one or friend.
We are once again indebted to Fulham Football Club for their support of this special day. We would like to thank Club director David Daly, and the Club's chaplain, The Reverend Gary Piper, who will lay wreathes in memory of our Fulham family before kick-off against Everton.
We would recommend that all supporters should take their seats by 2:40 pm. A video montage displaying the names and pictures of our late friends will begin at 2:45 pm. The players from both sides and the match officials will walk out on the Craven Cottage pitch at approximately 2:54pm. Wreathes will then be laid by the representatives of the Trust and the Club before a minute's applause will commence with the sound of the referee's whistle. Matchday master of ceremonies Ivan Berry will read the names of those supporters we are remembering during the half-time interval.
We thank our members and the entire Fulham family for their ongoing support of Celebration Day.

'We are still waiting' - Fulham midfielder Iwobi hopes Super Eagles will feature in 2026 World Cup
Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi showcased his playmaking and passing abilities at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, influencing games decisively with several pre-assists.
The Super Eagles secured a third-place finish in Morocco, defeating Egypt 4-2 on penalties to claim a spot on the podium.
While the victory brought some solace, Nigeria's dream of reaching the 2026 Fifa World Cup suffered a setback following a heartbreaking penalty shootout loss to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the African playoffs in November 2025, a month before the Afcon.
In the aftermath, the Nigeria Football Federation lodged a complaint with Fifa over the use of allegedly ineligible dual-national players, including Manchester United alums Axel Tuanzebe and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, hoping a favourable ruling could revive the team's World Cup qualification hopes.
Iwobi was a member of the Super Eagle squad at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he featured in all the matches contested by the three-time African champions.
When asked if he would have traded the Afcon bronze medal for a World Cup spot, Iwobi told SuperSport: "We are still waiting, we are hoping we can go to the World Cup but I feel it's a tough one.
"It's a tough one because winning Afcon is a great legacy, a great thing to happen in your career, and a memorable moment.
"But at the same time, I've been to the World Cup already, a lot of the players haven't. They would like to say, 'I want to go to the World Cup'.
"I cannot be selfish and say win the Afcon and for my teammates not to go to the World Cup. It's a tough one, I don't know."
A former England youth international, Iwobi is three games away from reaching the milestone of 100 appearances for the Super Eagles.

Tax issue may have paused Fulham arrival – Work for summer transfer ongoing
Fulham were unsuccessful in their repeated efforts to sign PSV Eindhoven's Ricardo Pepi in the winter market.
On January 12th, the Dutch club's general manager, Marcel Brands, confirmed, Fulham's €25m bid wasn't sufficient. Towards the end of the window, Marco Silva's side returned with €35m.
Earlier this week, PSV technical director Earnie Stewart confirmed Fulham's late approach. He also explained a lack of sufficient time to find a suitable replacement for Pepi saw them reject the London club's improved proposal.
Despite facing multiple rejections in the recently concluded window, Fulham aren't giving up on the American. Eindhovens Dagblad, a newspaper local to PSV, covers the latest.
The 23-year-old suffered an injury in January and should return to the pitch in the coming weeks.
He 'was and is open' to a move to the Premier League side. Work is ongoing to try and sign him for the summer. According to the report, Fulham are in ongoing discussions with all parties involved.
Silva's side aren't discussing the figure for the summer, but such a deal can be beneficial for PSV from a sporting and financial perspective. Pepi will remain at the club until the end of the season.
Fulham move may have hit tax issues
ED state: 'Furthermore, a transfer could be more tax-efficient for PSV. Noa Lang, Johan Bakayoko, and Malik Tillman generated between €80-90m, and PSV has also played in the Champions League. This means PSV already made a net profit without Pepi's transfer. From a tax perspective, an additional sale would likely result in an additional expense.'
Fulham are in ongoing negotiations with the Eredivisie side but don't seem close to finding an agreement. Either way, the English club are still keen and Pepi is open to joining them after this season.
There will be more developments in this case in the coming days and weeks.
Pepi has 11 goals and two assists from 22 matches this season.

Norwich City Women Face Fulham in a Title 'Six-Pointer'
Norwich City Women face Fulham, as the FA Women's National League Division One South East title rivals go head-to-head.
There are only a limited number of tickets remaining for the massive match at The Nest, where Norwich start two points ahead of the Cottagers but have played a game more.
Fulham have this week made two new additions, with Scotland U-19 international forward Leila Lister joining from Butler University in the US and former Spurs, Crystal Palace, and Oxford United defender Hannah Mackenzie arriving from AFC Wimbledon.
Still in the same division, there's a basement battle between AFC Sudbury and a Chesham side still looking for their first win, trailing their hosts by five points.
West Brom and AFC Bournemouth try again to play their League Cup tie, as Plymouth Argyle await the winners in the final at Loftus Road.
Second-placed Wolves play Rugby, who are third in the Northern Premier, while basement side Sporting Khalsa host Halifax, who are just the other side of the relegation zone.
Watford are at home to fourth-in-the-table Oxford United but could surrender the Southern Premier leadership to Plymouth if they fail to win.
Two of the Division One North title chasers clash as Cheadle take on Leeds, while Doncaster bid to escape the drop zone when traveling to a winless Blackburn.
Division One Midlands leaders Boldmere can't afford to drop points at home to Northampton, with title favourites Peterborough ready to pounce and hosting Sutton Coldfield.
Division One South West top team Moneyfields meet Portishead, while Swindon go to Ascot looking to return to winning ways after dropping their first points.

Harry Wilson to 'U-turn' on Fulham transfer plan amid Everton 'talk' claim
Harry Wilson could agree a new Fulham contract after not leaving Craven Cottage in the January transfer window.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who states Fulham "would like to keep" Wilson at the club.
Fulham were braced for interest in Wilson in January, with the midfielder's contract expiring at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a fine season at Fulham so far, with eight goals and four assists in 23 Premier League appearances.
Fulham need to make Harry Wilson decision
Everton's former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes Wilson will remain at Fulham.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Wyness thinks Wilson would be "welcomed" at Everton despite previously playing for Liverpool.
He told Football Insider's Inside Track podcast: "Yeah, I know that Fulham would like to keep him. You can see Wilson and Oscar Bob being quite a combination.
"I was hoping he was going to come to Everton. There was talk at one stage as well. He made sense there. Even though he'd played for Liverpool, I still think he'd have been welcomed at Hill Dickinson Stadium. But where is he going to go?
"I think he may end up somehow staying at Fulham now. I think he was really agitated for a move on this new contract, and so they're going to have to decide what they're going to do with him. He is a talented player. He can do a job for somebody. Tammy Abraham coming into Villa seems to preclude that still, unless you're at getting rid of Ollie Watkins and bringing Wilson in as a replacement for Ollie Watkins in some way.
"That's the only way I could see it at Villa. But I think something in the back of my heart says he's going to end up still staying at Fulham."
Wilson receives extra attacking support
Oscar Bobb has been backed to make an impact at Fulham, with the 22-year-old signing from Manchester City.
Bobb will link up with Wilson to add an extra dimension to Marco Silva's attack, with the Cottagers looking to break into the European places.
Fulham have relied on Wilson and striker Raul Jimenez for goals this season, with Rodrigo Muniz currently on the sidelines.

Olyott up for PL2 Player of the Month
Tom Olyott is up for PL2 Player of the Month for January.
The forward played an integral role in our unbeaten start to 2026, registering three assists in four starts.
All three of Olyott's assists during the month came against East Anglian opposition. A perfectly weighted ball for Aaron Loupalo-Bi set us on our way in a 2-1 victory over Ipswich.
His two assists for Tom Wingate in last Friday's win at Norwich were almost identical. Olyott's delightful whipped crosses only needed a deft touch from Wingate, who scored a brace to secure a 2-0 win in Norfolk.
Olyott's competiton comes from Kieran Morrison (Liverpool), Shim Mheuka (Chelsea), Matty Warhurst (Manchester City), Keyrol Figueroa (Liverpool), Reggie Walsh (Chelsea), Emmanuel Osho (Reading) and Ármin Pécsi (Liverpool).

Fulham re-open talks to seal blockbuster striker signing on pre-agreed deal as star says YES
Fulham are back at the negotiating table with PSV Eindhoven over a potential move for Ricardo Pepi and are now hopeful of a breakthrough, with the structure of the deal emerging as a key factor, TEAMtalk understands.
The Cottagers' pushed hard to land the striker in the January window, and their original proposal hinged on reaching PSV's £30million valuation through staggered payments, with a reduced up-front fee designed to ease the immediate financial impact.
PSV already had reservations about sanctioning Pepi's departure midway through the season, though, and they ultimately pulled the plug on talks, citing a lack of time to source a suitable replacement.
Now, sources indicate groundwork is being laid for PSV to find a new striker, a development that strongly suggests a summer exit for Pepi is on the cards.
The United States international has notched 11 goals in 22 appearances for PSV this season. He will be hopeful his positive form continues, and that he can thrive at the World Cup in his home nation.
The caveat for Fulham is that if Pepi performs well in the World Cup, more suitors could emerge.
That is a reason why Marco Silva's side are working on a deal now, and are pushing to pre-agree a deal before the end of this season.
Fulham pushing to seal striker signing – he wants the move
Fulham still need to revise their offer as discussions open up again. It is expected that PSV will now look for a higher up-front payment than was discussed during January negotiations in order to green-light the transfer.
Pepi himself remains hopeful that PSV will soften their stance, with the 23-year-old understood to be very keen on completing a move to Craven Cottage.
Fulham, meanwhile, are pushing to get an agreement in place ahead of the next transfer window, as they're aware that delaying talks could open the door for rival clubs to swoop in.
The club are keen to bring in more competition for Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz in the striker position.
Jimenez is past his prime at the age of 34 and even though he's notched six Premier League goals this season, Fulham can't rely on him for the long-term.
Muniz, 24, hasn't made an appearance since November due to a hamstring injury, leaving Fulham stretched.
Pepi is the man they want and it will be interesting to see if Fulham can reach a crucial pre-agreement.

Everton reveal shows why David Moyes is set for Craven Cottage joy this weekend
David Moyes will be looking to push Everton further up the Premier League table when they travel to face Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Tyrique George could be in line for his debut after he completed his switch from Chelsea on deadline day.
George is looking forward to playing in front of Everton supporters, but this weekend, he will have to settle for a reduced number with the game being at Craven Cottage.
Everton had previously beaten Fulham earlier in the season, and now Moyes has the chance to achieve an Everton feat 12 years in the making.
A win for the Blues would go a long way in Everton's European ambitions, and that could be aided by a stat about the Toffees' defence this season.
Why Everton's defence could get them a win against Fulham
Moyes has built an Everton side that are becoming increasingly difficult to beat when they are on the road, and that is clear in the numbers.
In the Premier League, only Arsenal are better defensively when away from home than the Toffees. This season, they have conceded just 11 goals in 12 away Premier League games, which is fewer than a goal a game.
In fact, it is the club's best defensive record on the road since 2008-09 (17 in 19 games).
With this record, Everton have earned more points away from home (18 out of 36) than they have while playing at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It presents a good opportunity for yet another strong result for Moyes when they face Fulham.
Everton forwards need to reward their defensive teammates
It is all well and good being defensively sound at the back, but if the forwards are not able to reward their teammates' hard work by scoring goals and pushing Everton to a win, it will all be done in vain.
Goals ultimately win games, and while being hard to score against is an excellent trait, Everton's win-draw-loss record this season shows that is the biggest concern.
Thierno Barry looks to have turned a corner in front of goal, and Beto's recent equaliser against Brighton should hopefully be a much-needed confidence boost.
The arrival of George could further help Everton's woes in front of goal. If they can begin finding the net more often, then this away stat could truly be a great omen.
Hopefully, another good away trip is on the cards for the travelling supporters.

Everton predicted XI vs Fulham as David Moyes makes big Tyrique George decision
Everton fans will be very keen to see whether a debut could be on the cards for Tyrique George on Saturday.
A quiet winter window for Everton was capped off with the late addition of George from Chelsea on an initial loan deal.
The early signs are extremely positive, with George seriously impressing in Everton training back at Finch Farm.
However, whether that translates into his first start for the club on Saturday against Fulham is another question.
David Moyes is not typically a manager who throws players straight into the mix, as was seen when Jack Grealish landed on Merseyside
Fans will be keen to see the 20-year-old thrown in at the deep end as Everton News shares our predicted XI for the trip to Craven Cottage.
Tyrique George simply must make his Everton debut
The footage from Everton's training sessions this week has wowed the fanbase and it is no surprise.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has waxed lyrical about George following their time together at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea.
Ironically, George has scored one Premier League goal in his 12 appearances and that came away to Fulham.
It will be interesting to see whether Moyes feels as if George has shown enough to warrant making the starting XI.
However, he is only on loan until the end of the season, which means he does have limited time to showcase his ability on Merseyside.
The direct nature of his game was apparent in the training footage shared and that is something that could really improve Everton's attack.
Nathan Patterson should return to the starting XI
On deadline day, Everton decided to keep Nathan Patterson despite receiving interest from clubs across Europe.
The right-back was dropped back to the bench for the game last weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Jake O'Brien has been a solid option for Moyes, but Everton need a natural right-back playing in the position.
Wolves made a late push for Patterson on deadline day, but now it is time for Moyes to give him a run in the side.
Whether Moyes does that remains to be seen.
David Moyes left with an interesting midfield decision
Harrison Armstrong did not return to Preston North End on loan for the remainder of the season.
Now, Everton fans will want to see the youngster utilised by Moyes after deciding against sending him back to Deepdale, where he would have played regular minutes.
James Garner has nailed down his spot in the Everton XI, which leaves Idrissa Gana Gueye's usual spot up for grabs for Armstrong.
The 18-year-old is the future of Everton's midfield, but will Moyes be willing to uproot the experienced Senegal international just yet?

Paul Merson has noticed something 'different' about Everton as he shares his Fulham prediction
Everton make the trip down to the capital this weekend where they will be taking on Fulham.
It is a reunion for Everton with their former manager Marco Silva as the Blues look to get only their second win of the year on the board.
Everton's game against Fulham will be officiated by Stuart Attwell, who is certainly not a popular figure among the fans on Merseyside.
The last two months have not been overly kind to Everton, with injuries and other absences derailing their form.
David Moyes will be aware that his side remain in touching distance of the European spots, but they desperately need to put pick up some consistent wins.
A massive opportunity lies ahead for the Blues at the weekend as Paul Merson has now shared his prediction for the game at Craven Cottage.
Paul Merson shares his Fulham vs Everton prediction
Stuart Attwell will be officiating Fulham vs Everton at the weekend in a decision that will not impress the travelling fans.
The two sides sit on the same number of points and the same goal difference in the Premier League table.
Speaking to Sportskeeda, Merson has now admitted that he thinks Silva is going to get one over his former side at the weekend, with a 2-0 defeat for Everton.
"I thought Fulham were unlucky the other day against Manchester United. Everton are different away from home. So it's really hard to pick a winner in this game as well!" he said.
"A win would put Fulham back in contention for Europe. In fact, if they beat Everton, they will move to within three points of fifth-placed Chelsea. I'm expecting it to happen."
Fulham are the overwhelming favourites to beat Everton given the Blues have only been able to secure one win since the turn of the year.
The European spots are there for the taking this season, but Everton have only secured two wins from their last nine games.
Everton need to start taking their chances in the Premier League
No more cup games are on the fixture list for Everton, with full focus now on the Premier League.
Everton's form away from home has been excellent this season and it has been what Moyes has hung his hat on.
Opportunities like Saturday are exactly what Everton need to make the most of by taking points from a side sitting on the same number of points.
Moyes wants Everton to push for the European spots this season and consistency is going to be key to that.
Everton are not going to be relegated this season, which should be the reason why Moyes removes the shackles for the remaining months.

Fulham handed major injury boost as Marco Silva provides Rodrigo Muniz latest
Pair will be welcome returners for Cottagers
Fulham have been handed a major injury boost ahead of their clash with Everton this weekend, with Rodrigo Muniz and Oscar Bobb both fit to play.
The pair have been sidelined since November and December respectively, with Bobb having recently signed from Manchester City.
Muniz, who had scored once and assisted once in seven Premier League games before his hamstring injury, returned to team training two weeks ago, but had been ruled out of upcoming matches by his manager Marco Silva.
However, ahead of the Cottagers' clash against Silva's former side Everton on Saturday, the Portuguese confirmed that the Brazilian forward would be fit to play.
"Having Rodrigo back is good," Silva said. "For us, it's better to have a week like this."
As for Bobb, the £27m January arrival, Silva revealed that the Norwegian had overcome a hamstring problem and could make his debut this weekend.
Meanwhile, Kenny Tete is also in contention to play after he returned from a hamstring problem.
"Tete will be in contention, in the squad list," the Cottagers boss said. "Good to have him back."
However, it was not all positive news, with Sasa Lukic still ruled out with his own hamstring injury that he picked up against Leeds.
"Just Sasa is [not] going to be in contention," Silva said.
"It's going to be too soon; he's not even training with the team yet. It's going to be more weeks."
Fulham find themselves in surprise European contention this term, sat in ninth in the Premier League table.
They are five points off Liverpool in 6th, having slipped somewhat in two of their last three games.
Most recently, they were beaten in the dying embers at Old Trafford thanks to Benjamin Sesko's late winner, earning a 3-2 victory for Manchester United.
They were also beaten 1-0 at Elland Road, but bounced back to defeat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 at home.

Pre-Everton Press Conference
Marco Silva is relishing the opportunity to host Premier League football at Craven Cottage again on Saturday.
Having taken 10 points from our last four on home turf, Silva was asked in his pre-Everton press conference what playing at the Cottage means to him.
"Incredible, the feeling that we're going to have tomorrow again," he said. "It's a special place for us.
"We are creating the right environment, between ourselves, between players and fans, and all of us in the same place and going in the direction that we want to go.
"Any game is very demanding, very tough. You can take nothing as granted in this level that we are playing, always very tough opposition there, but we have to be able to respond in many different ways to the demands from the game.
"We have a plan, we know what we have to do. The other side is a very good side, too, that will try to block ourselves and not let us go in the direction that we want.
"But it's been special, it's a place where we feel very, very, very well, and tomorrow we have another chance to prove again our quality at home."
The Toffees represent a very tough test, especially considering their form on the road.
Only Arsenal and Aston Villa have won more away matches than their five, while their 11 goals conceded can only be bettered by the Gunners.
"You are right, their defensive record so far away from home has been very, very good," Silva replied when asked about the numbers.
"Showed many different things – showed the resilience that they have, the capacity they have in some moments, even without the ball, to control games as well.
"It's not just because [of their defence] they achieved good results away from home, they have been difficult to beat. We know that they are strong in their moments in the game – set-pieces, long throws and all that stuff.
"And if we are resilient enough, and we show good defensive organisation like we have been showing, of course we can be closer to win a football match.
"The goals they conceded, they are a good example of [doing well] away from home, but we are at home, where we have been stronger as well. We expect a certain type of game, so let's see what is going to happen or not, but we are aware of all the things.
"I knew clearly what you're talking about, about the away goals conceded and all that stuff. We know that, we have been preparing ourselves for the game in the best way, and I'm really positive, first of all, knowing that it's going to be a tough game, that we are going to respond in the way that we should after that down against Man United, a game that we didn't deserve to lose."

Silva welcomes return of key Fulham players
Marco Silva has declared that "everything is different" for Fulham now that key players have returned to the squad.
Only Sasa Lukic is unavailable for Saturday's game against Everton – the Serbian is still out after picking up a hamstring injury.
After the signing of Oscar Bobb and the returns of Rodrigo Muniz and Kenny Tete, boss Silva now has more options at his disposal, after months without important players.
"The environment is good, the feelings are very good, finally. And you can feel it during the week how competitive it will be in the future and it was during this week as well," said Silva.
"So far the competition, the sound, everything is different. It's nice to see all of them around and all of them competing for the position.
"Of course, it's going to be tougher sessions, more competitive sessions. It's a very good feeling for me, for my staff and even the players."
Striker Muniz will return after being absent since the reverse fixture in November, when he had to be substituted after coming on against Everton.
"It's always very good if you look around yourself and you see solutions there to have an impact," said Silva.

Matchday Preview: Everton🆚 Everton
🏟 Craven Cottage
🏆 Premier League
🗓 Saturday 7th February
⏰ 3pm
The opposition
Everton have been enjoying some steady – if unspectacular – form since Christmas, losing just one of their seven fixtures in the Premier League. They've had some good results on the road in that time, too, leaving both Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa with maximum points, while they bagged a 97th minute equaliser to claim a point in Brighton last week. It's a run that has them sitting level on 34 points with Fulham, but a place lower due to goals scored.
Team news
🤍 Saša Lukić is Fulham's only absentee, meaning we could be boosted by an Oscar Bobb debut and the return of Rodrigo Muniz to the matchday squad for the first time since we last faced the Toffees, back in November.
🍬 Jack Grealish could be out for the remainder of the season, but Vitalii Mykolenko returns after missing the Brighton draw. Deadline day arrival Tyrique George will be in the squad.
Tickets
We are sold out for Saturday! The Ticket Exchange is open, though.
Kits
Both sides will be in their home strips.

Programme
In a sport that rarely stands still, Fulham's decision to extend Tom Cairney's contract was rooted firmly in the present. Performances, standards, influence - not reputation.
The skipper, who turned 35 last month, remains a key part of Marco Silva's plans, trusted to contribute in the toughest league in the world and to set the tone inside the dressing room.
"I've always said this is my club," he tells the official matchday programme for the visit of Everton. "It feels right to still be here. As long as I'm playing, affecting games, and helping the Club on and off the pitch, I'll stay as long as possible. That's always been my mindset.
"I arrived here a long time ago now, and the journey since then has been huge. I've come a long way since 2015. As long as I can contribute, I'll keep going. I love being here. I love playing here. And I'm proud to keep wearing this shirt."
Elsewhere in the publication which marks Fulham's fifth annual Celebration Day, Silva, Robert Wilson and Gentleman Jim pen their regular columns, while Jorge Cuenca lifts the lid on his teammates and Tomasz Radzinski is the next interview in our Cult Heroes series.
The programme will be on sale around the ground on Saturday, priced £4, or available to purchase online.

Marco Silva: United's interest in peril as new rival emerges for Fulham boss
Marco Silva remains high on Manchester United's shortlist to become the long-term successor to Ruben Amorim – but a new rival has now emerged for the Fulham manager, according to the latest report.
A summer reset
INEOS plan on waiting until the summer to appoint their permanent head coach, with Michael Carrick having taken the reins as caretaker until the end of the season.
Three wins on the trot have transformed the mood around Old Trafford, and put United in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification. If Carrick were to guide the Red Devils back into Europe's elite competition, the calls for him to be given the role permanently would reach fever pitch.
However, the club's hierarchy are intent on appointing a top-level candidate with experience in the Premier League, given the failure of the last two coaches who arrived from outside England.
Thomas Tuchel and Roberto De Zerbi – currently in charge of England and Olympique Marseille, but who previously enjoyed spells at Chelsea and Brighton respectively – are two of the frontrunners.
Two other national team managers, Carlo Ancelotti and Mauricio Pochettino, are also in contention, while a host of Premier League coaches are in contention as well, including Silva.
Ready for the step up
INEOS are big fans of the 48-year-old tactician, who hails from Lisbon. He was one of the options considered to replace Erik ten Hag in June 2024, before the pivot towards extending the Dutchman's contract.
This admiration has not dwindled, with Silva one of the names in the running to replace his compatriot at the Theatre of Dreams.
However, Benfica are understood to have identified the Portuguese coach as a "potential replacement" for Jose Mourinho, who took charge of the Eagles in September.
Sports Boom reveals the 'Special One' is "struggling to meet expectations" at the Estádio da Luz, with Benfica stranded in third in Liga Portugal, nine points adrift of table-topping Porto.
"Despite being appointed amid great fanfare earlier this term, Mourinho is struggling to have the kind of impact Benfica's notoriously demanding support base expected given his glittering array of achievements in the game.
"Indeed, 200 hardcore fans recently threatened to storm the club's training complex after demanding an audience with The Special One and senior members of a squad which sits third in the table behind arch-rivals Sporting Lisbon and Porto. "
The report states Silva would "not baulk at the opportunity" to take over from Mourinho in the city he hails from. But it does mention
Final Thoughts – A Portuguese merry-go-round
If Silva were to succeed Mourinho, it would rule him out of the running to be Amorim's long-term replacement.
But, in a bizarre twist, it would also halt the ex-United boss's chances of becoming Benfica's manager – a role Amorim has been strongly linked to since leaving Old Trafford.
Despite INEOS's admiration, Silva is unlikely to be one of the club's primary targets, meaning that while this merry-go-round in the Portuguese capital will have a strong link with the Red Devils, United will not be missing out should the Fulham boss swap London for Lisbon.

From the Press Box: Everyone but Lukic available for Everton
Jack Kelly gives us the news from Silva's latest press conference
After months of having sometimes several players out every matchday, the news of just one player missing from this weekend's game against Everton is most welcome.
It feels incredibly refreshing, with Silva talking about how good and deep the competition in the squad is. It's something for the fanbase to get excited about as we head into the closing months of the season.
Lukic's absence means Alex Iwobi will continue his role in the middle of the park, with Harrison Reed and Tom Cairney still strong options from the bench.
But of course, the return of Rodrigo Muniz will be highly anticipated. It was in Fulham's miserable defeat against Everton where Muniz was subbed on and then, shortly after coming close for the Whites, had to head back down the tunnel for a spell on the treatment table.
Since then he's had surgery and missed a large chunk of the action, but it looks like we could see the Brazilian at the Cottage tomorrow.
Silva: "Tete will be in contention in the squad list. Good to have him back. Sasa will be out. All the other players are available."
Kenny Tete could start against the side he was touted to join in the summer, before he opted to stay in West London.
Tomorrow may give us the chance to see a first glimpse and new signing Oscar Bobb, who wasn't quite ready for last Sunday, but has since had a full week of training.
Silva said the vibes at Motspur Park are good, with almost everyone out on the grass.
"The environment is good, the feelings are very good, finally. And you can feel it during the week how competitive it will be in the future and it was during this week as well", said Silva.
"So far the competition, the sound, everything is different. It's nice to see all of them around and all of them competing for the position.
"Of course, it's going to be tougher sessions, more competitive sessions. It's a very good feeling for me, for my staff and even the players.
"It's always very good if you look around yourself and you see solutions there to have an impact"
Despite Fulham's injury woes this season, we've done very, very well. Last week's late dagger to the heart was tough to take, but Fulham have a chance to return to winning ways against an Everton side who have also had a great season under David Moyes.
Fulham do battle against the Toffees before another trip to Manchester to face Man City, before we continue our FA Cup exploits against Championship side Stoke City.
Fulham are still in the top 10 and hope to continue their push for Europe. With Bobb, Muniz, Tete and almost everyone else back, we could start to see the full potential of this impressive side.
Fulham haven't beaten Everton in the league since August 2023, since then we've seen Adama Traore join and then leave the club.
In fact, the Whites' last win at Craven Cottage against Everton was in 2019, when Fulham were already relegated.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow and the week ahead, as Fulham search for a third consecutive Premier League home win, and four in all comps.

Fulham vs Everton: Premier League Preview, Gameweek 25,2026
The Blues travel to Craven Cottage in what could be a crucial game for European qualification.
Everton travel down to London this weekend to face former Blues boss
Marco Silva, as they take on Fulham.
In the past few weeks, Fulham have beaten Chelsea and Brighton, while earning a point against Liverpool, which has put them in the race for European Football.
In their most recent match, Fulham lost 3-2 to Manchester United. Brazilian winger Kevin had equalised in injury time before Fulham ultimately lost. Fulham are now 9th in the table, level on points with Everton.
For David Moyes's side, they'll hope to do the double over the Cottagers, as last time out, Everton comfortably beat Fulham 2-0, with goals from Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane.
The Blues have only won once in their last five games, and if the club have any European aspirations, the game this weekend could be vital.

Key Players
Fulham - Harry Wilson
Subject to a potential move to Everton on Transfer Deadline Day, the Welshman has been a key component of Marco Silva's side.
The 28-year-old has been nominated for the Premier League and PFA Player of the Month for January.
The former Liverpool man has scored winners against Chelsea and Brighton. So far this season, Wilson has scored eight goals and four assists in 23 matches.
Out of contract in the summer, Wilson has been playing more centrally for Marco Silva's side.
Everton - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Since returning from injury, the former Chelsea man is slowly showing the Blues how much of a miss the midfielder was for Everton as they went six games without him.
In the game against Leeds, the midfielder showed his composure when receiving the ball in tight spaces to progress Everton up the pitch as they chased an equaliser.
Since returning from injury, the former Chelsea man is slowly showing the Blues how much of a miss the midfielder was for Everton as they went six games without him.
In the game against Leeds, his composure and ability to receive the ball in tight spaces were crucial for Everton progressing the ball up the pitch, as they were chasing an equaliser.
Last time out against Brighton, the 27-year-old had two opportunities to fire Everton into the lead, but one effort was dragged just wide, and the other was stopped by Bart Verbruggen.
Despite missing two chances, Dewsbury-Hall has shown his ability to break into opponents' boxes, something which Everton currently lacks.

Report: Fulham pushing to agree summer deal to sign £30m forward
Fulham Renew Ricardo Pepi Talks as Summer Plan Takes Shape
Fulham are quietly but decisively back in business. As first reported by TEAMtalk, the club have reopened negotiations with PSV Eindhoven over a potential move for Ricardo Pepi, with confidence growing inside Craven Cottage that a deal can be shaped ahead of the summer window.
The original January approach fell short, not because of ambition, but timing and structure. Fulham's proposal was built around PSV's £30million valuation being met via staggered payments, with a lower up front fee designed to reduce immediate financial pressure. PSV hesitated, ultimately walking away due to concerns over sourcing a replacement striker mid season. That hesitation now appears to be easing.
Sources indicate that PSV are actively laying the groundwork to bring in a new forward, a significant shift that strongly hints at a planned summer departure for Pepi. From Fulham's perspective, this is a clear window of opportunity.
Deal Structure Key to Breakthrough
The framework of the deal remains the central talking point. Fulham will need to revise their offer, with PSV now expected to demand a higher up front payment than was discussed in January. This is the trade off for clarity and early commitment.
As TEAMtalk reported, "Fulham still need to revise their offer as discussions open up again." That revision is already being explored, with the club keen to avoid a bidding war later in the year.
The logic is straightforward. Pepi has scored 11 goals in 22 appearances this season and is heading into a World Cup on home soil full of confidence. A strong tournament could significantly widen the pool of interested clubs. Fulham know that waiting carries risk.
Player Desire Aligns With Fulham Strategy
One of the most encouraging aspects of this pursuit is the player's stance. Pepi is understood to be very keen on completing a move to Craven Cottage, with sources stating that he "remains hopeful that PSV will soften their stance."
That alignment matters. Fulham are not chasing a reluctant target. They are engaging a player who sees the Premier League as the right next step and Fulham as a viable platform rather than a stepping stone.
Marco Silva's squad planning also underlines the urgency. Raul Jimenez, now 34, has contributed six league goals but is not a long term solution. Rodrigo Muniz has not featured since November due to a hamstring injury, leaving Fulham stretched and overly reliant on short term fixes.
Summer Planning Already Underway
Fulham's intent to pre agree a deal before the end of the season reflects a club operating with foresight rather than impulse. As noted in the original report, "Fulham, meanwhile, are pushing to get an agreement in place ahead of the next transfer window, as they're aware that delaying talks could open the door for rival clubs to swoop in."
This is measured recruitment, driven by timing, value and squad balance. Pepi fits the profile and, crucially, the moment.
Our View – EPL Index Analysis
As a Fulham supporter, this report feels like proper ambition wrapped in smart planning. Pepi is exactly the kind of signing that signals progression without recklessness. He is 23, already proven in Europe, hungry, and crucially, he wants the move. That matters more than any spreadsheet.
There is something refreshing about Fulham moving early, not scrambling on deadline day, not reacting to injuries or poor form, but actively shaping the squad months in advance. If we can get this pre agreed, it sends a message that Fulham are serious about building sustainably in the Premier League.
Pepi would not just be depth. He would be competition, energy, and a genuine long term option up front. Jimenez has done a job and deserves respect, but the future needs legs, goals, and resale value. Pepi ticks every box.
The World Cup angle adds urgency and excitement. Get this done now and we look clever. Miss out and watch his price and profile explode. From a fan's point of view, this feels like one of those moments where a club either steps up or stands still.
If Fulham pull this off, it would be a statement signing, not blockbuster for the headlines, but blockbuster for where this club wants to go next.

"Great for the team" – Fulham boss reveals reason for benching Calvin Bassey since AFCON return
Fulham head coach Marco Silva has stated that he has been benching Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey due to the impressive performances of Jorge Cuenca, Soccernet.ng reports.
Bassey has been a major defensive stalwart for Fulham over the last two seasons; he was even named the club's best player last season.
In the first half of the current campaign, he continued his impressive run of form, forming a solid partnership with Joachim Andersen at center-back.
However, he had to leave the club to join Nigeria's campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. While it was feared his absence would be deeply felt, that was not the case, as the Cottagers actually hit a rich vein of form in his absence.
Cuenca, who filled in for him, performed admirably and remained composed, developing a strong understanding with Andersen.
Still, it was widely expected that Bassey would reclaim his starting spot the moment he returned from AFCON, especially since he was one of the standout players at the competition in Morocco.
Surprisingly, however, since the Super Eagles star returned to the club in the final week of January, he has not started a single game for the Cottagers.
In the first match for which he was available — against Brighton — he remained on the bench for the duration of the game.
Then, against Manchester United last weekend, Bassey saw just five minutes of action.
Marco Silva Reveals Why Calvin Bassey Has Not Started A Game Since Returning From AFCON
Coach Marco Silva's decision to bench Calvin Bassey for two consecutive games has raised a few eyebrows, and he was questioned about the move during a recent pre-match press conference.
While acknowledging Bassey's quality, Silva noted that he has continued to start Cuenca due to the Spaniard's recent performances.
He also asserted that maintaining this lineup is important to foster healthy competition among his players.
"It's a great thing for the team. I am the first one praising Calvin's impact at the club, a great, great CB. Huge potential to keep growing," Silva said, per Jack Kelly.
"Cuenca has stepped in & shown his qualities. It's a competition, Cuenca knows the pro he's up against."
Fulham's next game is against Everton at Craven Cottage on Sunday, and it is unknown if coach Silva will stick with Cuenca.
But the Bassey's quality, he will likely return to being a bang-on starter for Fulham very soon.

Fulham U21 5-0 West Ham U21(https://images.webapi.fulhamfc.com/fit-in/900x900/eaba2170-03a5-11f1-8715-b99f28bab3fa.jpg)
Jonah Kusi-Asare and Farhaan Ali Wahid bagged braces as Fulham Under-21s defeated West Ham in emphatic fashion in PL2.
The young Swedish striker started the scoring, with Ali Wahid also getting in on the act in the first period.
Hayden Mullins' 13-unbeaten Young Whites were rampant after the interval, as Kusi-Asare scored with a sensational solo effort, with Tom Wingate and Ali Wahid adding further gloss to the scoreline
Aiming to continue an impressive unbeaten run of their own, the visitors began strongly, as Joshua Ajala stung the palms of Alfie McNally with a quick swivel and half volley.
A mazy run from Jethro Medine resulted in the West Ham right-back getting a shot away in the box, with McNally beating the shot away from danger.
Despite West Ham's early chances, we had seen plenty of the ball in the early exchanges – and a goal followed midway through the first period. Jayden Quashie closed down goalkeeper Thomas Wooster, and squared the ball for Kusi-Asare for an easy finish into an unguarded net.
The Swedish striker was only denied a quickfire double by a brave Rayan Oyebade block. Alfie White teed up Kusi-Asare, who blasted a goalbound strike into the Hammers defender.
The second goal followed from the resulting corner. Tom Olyott picked up his fourth assist in five games, with his whipped corner poked home by a well-positioned Ali Wahid from just a few yards out.
Just four minutes into the second period, Kusi-Asare extended our advantage further with a sensational strike. He demonstrated his power with a strong run down the left, and his finish – on his weaker side – was emphatic and flew into the top corner.
An outstretched Wooster arm stopped us from getting a fourth. Tom Wingate, who replaced Kusi-Asare, teed up Dan Casey, with the Trialist bringing a top save out of the West Ham goalkeeper from the edge of the box.
Bradley Slade, who has been sidelined since September through injury, was on for the last half hour – and he could have had an assist on his first game back, but his inviting cross couldn't be met by Quashie.
McNally had been pretty quiet since his early heroics – so he took it upon himself to get involved in some build up. His searching pass over the top was Ederson-esque, setting Quashie free down the right. He registered his second assist of the game, squaring to Wingate for his third goal in two matches.
Our goalkeeper then made an outrageous stop to preserve our clean sheet. McNally showed quick reactions to get a strong right hand to Ryan Battrum's header, tipping the ball wide for a corner.
Slade was rampaging forwards on his return to the side, flashing another ball across the face of goal, with Wingate forcing a near post stop from Wooster.
The fifth goal arrived from a Macaulay Zepa inswinger, and Ali Wahid once again took the credit after getting the final touch in a crowded area.
Undoubtedly, this was our Young Whites' standout result of the PL2 season – and they'll look to carry that on away at Crystal Palace next Friday, 7pm kick-off at Sutton United's Gander Green Lane.

Fulham vs Everton: Match Preview| 9th v 10th at the Cottage
Evertonians will probably be relieved to focus on matters on the pitch after the fallout from Monday's transfer deadline.
Tyrique George was an exciting new arrival from Chelsea, but it was the non-transfer of Dwight McNeil to Crystal Palace that made most of the headlines (the failure to sign a right-back is now par for the course, to the extent where I'm not sure they will ever sign one again).
We may never know the exact details, but it appears Everton did everything at their end to facilitate the transfer, only for Palace to either back out or fail to get the paperwork submitted in time.
The emotional Instagram post by McNeil's partner the following day is a reminder that there are human beings behind the razzmatazz of football who can be negatively impacted, even with their considerable wealth.
Most Evertonians on social media felt the move suited both club and player - though some made that point more politely than others (to put it mildly). But with McNeil staying until at least the end of the season, the supporters have a responsibility to get behind him.
The former Burnley player has become a bit of a lightning rod for fans' frustrations, not helped by his now infamous failure to track back against Leeds, which lead to their goal. However, he is far from a Premier League dud and is more than capable of contributing between now and the end of the season. Though he has struggled at times this season McNeil made some crucial contributions during the previous three campaigns which helped keep the club's head above water.
This saga may yet prove to be a turning point in his career, even if he eventually moves on from the Toffees this summer.
The opposition
In a tightly packed Premier League table, Fulham have flown under the radar a bit and will feel they are in contention for a European spot.
The Cottagers are only above Everton on goals scored and are just six points off fifth place. Eighth - which could bring Conference League football next season - is only two points away.
Is there such a thing as a mid-table six-pointer?
That gap would have been just one point had they held on for a draw at Old Trafford last week, instead conceding a 94th-minute goal just two minutes after hauling themselves level.
Home is definitely where the heart is for Marco Silva's side. They have won seven, drawn two and lost just three of their 12 league games at home, with two of those defeats coming against Arsenal and Manchester City.
A key player is likely to be Harry Wilson, who has eight goals and four assists this season. A cynic might say he is performing like a player who will be a free agent in the summer and - at 29 next month - is eyeing one final big contract. Or it could be that he is finally reaching the peak of his powers - I'll let you decide.
Everton reportedly showed an interest during the transfer window but were not willing to meet Fulham's valuation of the Wales international, who looks likely to leave on a free transfer.
For years this fixture traditionally favoured the home side, to the point where the teams could have just shaken hands on a mutual three points each season. But the trend has flipped in recent years and Fulham have yet to beat Everton at the Cottage since they were promoted back to the top flight in 2020.
Previous meeting
Everton 2–0 Fulham, 8 November 2025
A rare Saturday 3pm home game for Everton back in November, as they came away with all three points.
Idrissa Gueye and Michael Keane scored to secure the win, although the scoreline arguably should have been more emphatic, with the Toffees having three goals disallowed.
Team news
Vitaly Mykolenko has resumed training and is in contention to return after missing last weekend's draw at Brighton. Jarrad Branthwaite filled in at left-back showed no ill-affects after his first start of the season, leaving David Moyes with a decision to make.
Tyrique George is available and trained with his new team-mates this week, but is likely to be on the bench.
Final word
Everton's away record is excellent, so they should go into every road game believing they can get something out of it. I successfully predicted a score draw last week (just), and I think it could finish the same way this time.

Marco Silva shares important Samuel Chukwueze update after family tragedy
Fulham coach Marco Silva has hailed Samuel Chukwueze for his mental fortitude despite the recent loss of his mother, Soccernet.ng reports.
Last week, it was confirmed that Chukwueze lost his mother, Sarah, after a brief illness. This tragic news came just a day after Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi lost his father in a car accident.
Chukwueze was very close to his mother during her lifetime, and the two were often spotted together whenever he was holidaying in Nigeria.
There was even a viral video of his mother holding his legs and praying for him before the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Understandably, it was expected that the loss would take a significant toll on him. However, in a show of resilience, he was named in the starting eleven for Fulham's Premier League game against Manchester United last week.
Chukwueze looked very lively throughout that match, constantly willing to push forward while also contributing defensively. However, he was unable to find the net or provide an assist as he side succumbed to a 3-2 loss.
Marco Silva Hails Samuel Chukwueze
This weekend, Fulham take on Everton in the Premier League, and Chukwueze remains part of the squad. In fact, he has a strong chance of starting the game.
Coach Marco Silva was asked about the Super Eagles star and how he has been faring since his loss. He praised Chukwueze's mentality and his ability to continue playing through such a difficult period.
"He took a decision to play, he feels very well here, it's been a tough moment for him abd his family. Nice to see him smiling every day. Nice to see him with us," Silva said, per Jack Kelly.
Due to the hectic schedule, Chukwueze will likely have to wait until the summer before coming to Nigeria to bury his mother.
In the meantime, he will be looking to help Fulham finish the season strongly. As it stands, they are 9th on the Premier League table, seven points off the Champions League spots.
If they can string up a run of impressive performances they can dream of getting a spot in Europe.

Chris Sutton shares why Everton will not be 'looking forward' to Fulham clash
Everton will reunite with Marco Silva on Saturday.
David Moyes takes the Toffees to Craven Cottage to play Fulham, where Everton can stretch their unbeaten run in the Premier League to five games and potentially move closer to European qualification.
However, Chris Sutton has now shared reason for Everton fans to be concerned when talking up the talent of Harry Wilson.
Chris Sutton tells Everton to be wary of Harry Wilson
Everton tried to sign Wilson on transfer deadline day, sensing an opportunity after the Wales international entered the final 12 months of his contract.
However, the Cottagers rejected the approach, and aim to keep trying to convince the Welshman to pen a new deal despite running the risk of losing him for nothing in July.
With eight goals and four assists in 23 Premier League appearances so far this season, Wilson is proving to be a talisman for Fulham, and Sutton believes Everton will be fearing the sight of the 28-year-old.
The former Celtic striker told BBC Sport: "Everton asked about Fulham forward Harry Wilson on deadline day. He has been a revelation this season and they won't be looking forward to facing him on Saturday... this is going to be another close game and it smells of another 2-1 to me, but I am not going to go down that road again this week.
"Instead, I'm going for a different scoreline but sticking with a narrow Fulham win. Marco Silva will feel his side deserved something from Old Trafford and it will be him celebrating at the final whistle this week, not Moyes. 1-0."
If Everton manage to prove Sutton wrong and keep a clean sheet, it would put Moyes closer to making history and beating his own record of just 17 goals conceded in 19 away games during the 2008/09 season.
So far this term, the Toffees have only shipped 11 goals in 12 games away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Home comforts for Tyrique George?
Yes, Everton must be wary of Wilson, but Fulham also need to beware Tyrique George if Moyes hands the 20-year-old his debut.
The England U21 international will be back in the familiar surroundings of west London – where he just left Chelsea to sign for Everton on loan.
Not only that, but George also scored his first Premier League goal against Fulham at Craven Cottage last season, so he should be full of confidence for this clash.

Fulham revive talks to sign Ricardo Pepi, summer move eyed
Fulham will reportedly look to sign 23-year-old USMNT international Ricardo Pepi from PSV Eindhoven in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Ricardo Pepi remains the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a striker in the summer transfer window. So, the 23-year-old PSV Eindhoven centre-forward remains a target for the West London outfit.
Fulham came close to signing the American striker from PSV on the deadline day of the winter transfer window before the deal collapsed in the final hours. However, the Cottagers have revived talks to secure Pepi's services, and they are confident of landing their top striker target this summer.
How has Ricardo Pepi fared at PSV Eindhoven?
Ricardo Pepi has established himself as one of the most reliable attackers in the Eredivisie since joining PSV Eindhoven from FC Augsburg in July 2023. The 23-year-old has made considerable progress in the last two and a half years, with his exploits also helping him become a regular for the USMNT.
The USMNT international has been solid thus far in the 2025/26 season, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists in 22 appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, Pepi's progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Fulham will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.
London calling?
Ricardo Pepi has been on Fulham's wishlist for a long time, and they were keen on securing his services in the winter transfer window. The continued interest makes sense, as the Cottagers have been combing the market for a striker heading into the summer transfer window. Raul Jimenez is on the wrong side of 30 and approaching the twilight of his career. Additionally, Rodrigo Muniz has struggled with fitness issues in the 2025/26 season.
So, Fulham entered the winter transfer window wanting to sign a striker, with Pepi emerging as a top target. While the West London club came close to securing the American attacker's services in the winter transfer window, they have revived talks with PSV Eindhoven in the hopes of sealing a summer deal.
The Eredivisie champions will continue to demand around £30 million to sell Pepi to Fulham. Meanwhile, the Cottagers are optimistic about signing the 23-year-old USMNT international in the summer transfer window. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the player.

Everton line-ups for Fulham as Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling decisions made
Our Everton writers select their starting line-ups for Saturday's Premier League clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage
Everton look to return to winning ways today (Saturday) when they travel to former manager Marco Silva's Fulham (3pm kick-off). The Blues have drawn their past two matches.
But last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion felt almost like a win given super-sub Beto's equaliser came in the 97th minute. That left manager David Moyes dancing for joy on the pitch and the good news kept coming this week when his ranks were bolstered by the arrival of Tyrique George and the return to training of Vitalii Mykolenko.
That means Moyes should every member of his first-team squad fit for the showdown with fellow European hopefuls Fulham bar Jack Grealish, who sadly looks unlikely to play again this season.
What, then, is the Blues boss to do? Our writers have their say...
Joe Thomas
This is what I would do at Fulham. I'd keep Jarrad Branthwaite at left back. He did fine there last week and I want him on the pitch to build his match fitness, even if it is out of position.
On the right, I would bring back Nathan Patterson. The team looks better balanced with him there and I would give him freedom to push up and cover him with Branthwaite sitting back so the defenders can move across if needs be.
In the middle, I would put Jake O'Brien alongside James Tarkowski. Michael Keane did well last week but those two formed a nice partnership over new year, O'Brien provides recovery pace and I think he (and Branthwaite) are the future of Everton's central defence.
I wouldn't play with a No.10 at Craven Cottage. I'd play an experienced three across the midfield of Idrissa Gueye, James Garner and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Garner can sit deepest and the other two can go hunting for the ball. They can also provide protection for the Blues to attack down the wings through Iliman Ndiaye on the left and Tyler Dibling on the right.
At Brighton, Everton provided zero attacking threat in the first half and while I'm happy for the team to be solid in the middle, I want the wide players to have the freedom to attack because of the solid base behind them. Now is the time to go all in on Dibling and give him a run of games in the hope the faith will lead to a breakthrough, just like it did for Thierno Barry.
Dibling and Tyrique George have the potential to dovetail well and hopefully they can support and push each other. Barry starts up top.
My team (4-3-3): Pickford, Patterson, Tarkowski, O'Brien, Mykolenko, O'Brien, Tarkowski; Garner, Gueye, Dewsbury-Hall; Dibling, Barry, Ndiaye.
Chris Beesley
Vitalii Mykolenko is back fit but speaking in his pre-match press conference for Everton's trip to Fulham, David Moyes insisted he'd always felt he could field his four centre-backs together and would have no shame in doing it again.
Neither would I, as despite the Ukraine international's return to fitness, the quartet of Jarrad Branthwaite, Michael Keane, James Tarkowski and Jake O'Brien are the Blues' four best defenders.
If we're discounting Adam Aznou's credentials, Mykolenko is the only natural left-back in the squad, but in truth he struggled in his last outing against Leeds United and the deployment of the system used at Brighton enables Branthwaite to continue to build-up his match sharpness while continuing with the centre-back partnership that has been used for the lion's share of the season.
Up front, Beto – who netted five times in February last year – will be pushing for a recall after his last-gasp leveller at the Amex Stadium, but Thierno Barry still gets the nod.
There is also a dilemma over the right wing and while Harrison Armstrong did nothing wrong there against the Seagulls and indeed has done a good job wherever he's been deployed by Moyes over the past month, hopefully a more natural option can now go on that flank.
In that respect, I'm looking forwards and not backwards, so it's not a recall for Dwight McNeil but rather a debut for new recruit Tyrique George, who is used to performing in west London, on the left, with Iliman Ndiaye reverting to the right.
My team (4-2-3-1): Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Branthwaite; Garner, Gueye; Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, George; Barry.
